Ive used Mckean before, and have invested quite a bit in (necessary) home updates with them. They have always been thorough, conscientious, and honest. Recently had new heat pump installed, and John was very helpful throughout the whole process. Even sent me all the forms so I could get a rebate. Theres also the added benefit that they back up their work. Im comfortable with all their offered services.

Amazing! Spoke to a representitive online via email within a half hour of submitting a form for a thermostat by lennox going down at my grandmothers. Very fast response and solution within an hours time after 9pm!!! They cane here the next day and were so kind and helpful. Long story short where other companies gave a high estimate this business looked up the system and co formed it WAS IN WARRANTY STILL AND THE THERMOSTAT WAS FREE. A 200 dollar bill vs over a thousand to 2000 is a blessing before Christmas and my grandmother is warm and secure in her home! Thank you so so much! They went out of their way and had the thermostat we wanted and the newest of the new for her same day. Hands down dont call anywhere else! They are HONEST, FAST, RELIABLE, and simply THE BEST! So glad I contacted them and suggest you do the same for your HVAC, or plumbing needs! Honesty is golden and they ensured we have a copy of the new warranty info so we dont experience another situation like this. Blessed!!

Every time I call McKean, they are super professional, super nice. They are clean in the house. I had my drains cleaned - they wear shoe covers in the house and there wasn’t any leftover guck anywhere. I’ve called them several times & just each time have had a really good experience. They are my go to for sure!

I needed parts for a 17 year old water heater. I searched the internet and could not find anything. I called McKean and Chis had me what I needed the next day!! When I picked up the parts they even gave some advice on cleaning some screen filters I didn’t know existed, so very helpful and very accurate!! Not my first time going to them for parts, and they are always our first call when something is above my do it yourself level!! You have to be careful with that, sometimes it’s better left to the experts!! Great experience every time, experts in their field, fair and friendly, can’t say enough good things about these guys!!! Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning problems, call these guys first!!!

Weve had McKean do three different jobs for us in the past year, ranging from fixing a leaking AC drain to installing and/or repairing 3 toilets to digging up our yard to repair a leaking supply line. All the jobs were done professionally in a reasonable amount of time for a reasonable price. We are very happy with their service and would recommend them to anyone.

Wonderful and friendly service. My furnace broke and they had no appointments available for the next month. I was put on the cancellation list. Within an hour, I received a call requesting the model specifications so they could get ahead of the issue. Within the next hour, I received a call that a technician in my area finished up a job early and would stop by in a few minutes to see what parts would be required or if he could fix it on the spot. I truly appreciated that I was not put on a list and forgotten about!! They were extremely prompt and caring about the situation.The technician that came was very nice and efficient. He put on a temporary part so I would have heat until they could get back with the permanent part. This is the 1st time Ive used McKean for HVAC, but I have used them twice for plumbing and was equally satisfied with the promptness and friendliness. I would not call anyone else in this industry at this point.

Dont remember service mans name, but he couldnt have been nicer or more professional. In addition to fixing my furnace, he taped over rust spots on duct work for safety. He also showed me how to turn off furnace and gas supply valve and replaced my furnace filter.A really good experience..

Respectful, reasonable, reliable. I can say Ive tried other places when McKean was booked. Its worth waiting for a time to open up with McKean. They are amazing to work with. I refuse to call anyone else for our hearing, AC, or plumbing ever again. They service our boiler and our AC, have replaced parts, did plumbing work, and recently replaced our entire AC unit (due to age). Every person who has been to our home has been on time, respectful, friendly, and helpful. Highly recommend!

McKean has come to our rescue twice. One time was water and second time was today when our AC went out. Both time they were able to come out within the day before business hour ends so we were not charged “emergency” rate. They actually started do some simple troubleshooting before sending anyone out. And they asked for picture of the AC unit so they could come prepared. All very good work ethics. And they seemed to hire the most honest and humble tech. I got a quick response and a date was set to come look at the things that I had on my request.After the visit to our home, looking over our situation, having things explained and talked about, we received a timely response in a detailed email as to the cost. The cost seems very fair, so we accepted the price and we are on McKeans schedule for this work to be done.I will be glad to do another comment when the work has been completed.

Great company, I had an emergency main sewer line issue on a Sunday, I was happily surprised to talk to a person when I called instead of having to leave a message and wait for a return call. The tech contacted soon after with a window of when to expect him and again when he was on his way. Al was great, knowledgeable and very thorough. He is an asset to the company. He fixed my problem and explained exactly what he found and where the issue was as well as what the next step may be if the problem reoccurs. I will use them for any of my future plumbing needs.

I contacted McKean plumbing after contacting Whirlpool about our water softener that quit working just after 3 years. They informed us that they were the only certified repairer in my area. Mark was sent out and did an excellent job in diagnosing the problem. He came back with his apprentice and voila. It’s working. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the softener and knew what he was doing. We did have to pay out of pocket but it is a relief to know he knew what he was doing.

We have used McKean Plumbing and Heating for many years. They resolved a plumbing issue we had years ago that other plumbing companies could not figure out. We have used them for simpler things too… outside faucet replacements, shower water pressure issue etc.They stand by their work and do the right thing for their customers. For example, we just had a frost-free outside shutoff valve fail (leak in wall) that they installed 6 years ago. The technician, Art, arrived on time and quickly assessed the problem. I called the office and spoke to Henry about the premature failure of the shutoff valve. He consulted with Art. Henry called me back and told me that there would be no charge for this service call. Thanks McKean Plumbing! You are the best of the best.
