I realized that my 19 year old water heater was leaking water all over the basement floor at 12:30 pm today and Zach was here by 2:00 pm. He was here about an hour and replaced the water heater along with some old pipes. I am very pleased with how quickly Harbor City was able to get someone to my house and have the problem solved. Definitely recommend and I am sure I will use them again one day (hopefully not too soon)!

Zach came to replace my old cast iron with this fresh PVC, and also gave me advice for service in the future that may be needed. He didn’t pressure me into making a decision on the spot, just let me know that I may want to have it done in the future to prevent things from getting worse. The guys were in and out within 2 hours and they did a stellar job! Couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!!

Called Harbor City Plumbing the morning after my water heater went out. They were patient with my questions and walked me through all of my options for replacement. Their recommendation was not the most expensive choice but it was the best fit for my house. Being a single mom who knows absolutely nothing about this stuff, I very much appreciated that honesty. Then, they were able to do the install within hours of my call. Of the 3 companies that I contaced they were also the most affordable. I truly cant say enough good things about my experience with Harbor City! I will be a customer for life.

Basement floor drain was backing up BAD from roots in our drain system. Harbor City Plumbing fit us into their schedule same day and fixed the problem in less than an hour. They gave some great advice, cleaned up the mess and the price was very reasonable. They were extremely professional and knowledgeable and it made me confident in the work they were doing. We have used other companies in the past, but we will stick with Harbor City Plumbing for future needs and will definitely be recommending to friends and family!

Even though their schedules were full, they worked us in the next day and Zach was able to replace a plugged cast iron pipe in our 160-year-old stone farmhouse, and we were back in business. Called on a Monday - got here Thursday to replace two toilets. Replaced both shut-off valves first so the water was off for only a few minutes. While here fixed a bunch of other stuff that we hadnt mentioned when setting up the appointment. Harbor had given us a quote on the toilets over the phone and stuck to it. Doug - the guy doing the work - was awesome - took the time to explain everything along the way. Just last night we recommended Harbor to another curling buddy of ours who actually is looking for a plumber. (Scott Nelson is a long time curler at Milw Curling Club in Cedarburg.)

We would definitely recommend to everyone Harbor City Plumbing! Caring, friendly people. Receptionist Breanna found a great plumber Doug hours after I scheduled an appt for Wed, and this was Monday. Doug came and unplugged our 1 toilet and I had a few questions, which he was very knowledgeable of!After my husband and I discussed replacing our 20 yr old toilets, my husband called Doug, he then ordered the 3 new toilets! 2 days later Doug took out the old and put in the new! Several weeks ago. My water heater decided to stop heating on a Saturday morning. I called Harbor City to inform them that I believe that I will need a new water heater seeing as my dead one was over 10 years old and to please give me a call on Monday morning. I received a call back on Sunday. The lady I was talking to was apologizing for not getting back to me on Saturday. Their phone didn’t show that they had a message. She offered to send their on call associate over that day but I told her that I have no problem waiting until they can fit me into their schedule on Monday. I was floored. I did not expect a call back on a weekend. My new water heater arrived and was installed Monday morning. I can not say enough about Harbor City. I have used them for many years for various plumbing needs. They are a phenomenal business and I highly recommend them.

Although the problems were not critical, they were annoying - the kitchen faucet appeared to be coming apart and the sink drain would backup at least once during a dishwasher cycle. Zach arrived much sooner than I expected, found the tiny screw needed to hold the faucet together and then did a complete drain pipe clearance. No more problems and no more annoyances immediately prior to the holiday! I appreciated the quick response and the professional way Zach dealt with the problems even though they were minor relative to what could have happened if the facet had actually fallen apart and the drain had backed up totally in the middle of cooking Thanksgiving dinner!

Phenomenal; cannot say enough good about this plumber! Team of plumbers really… they support the community and I first came to know them way back when we still had a parade - so I called when my dishwasher flooded all over my kitchen due to poor do-it-yourself plumbing. They came very quickly and fixed the issue and brought everything to code. Called again when I needed a hose bib; very reasonably priced. Called when my hot water heater flooded my basement while I was on a business trip and they helped me coordinate remediate getting the flood damage and fast enough I could take a hot shower the next day! Such a feeling of comfort to have such a good, honest plumber in town. Most recently, I had them unclog the pipes and assist with a new toilet install. All their work is excellent!

Beware. They charge $125.00 per hour and the clock starts when they leave there last job. So I had to pay for 15 minutes drive time from last job and for another 20 minutes that he left and went back to shop to get a part. I feel that is unfair. Work was good. They say that is instead of trip charge. I guess I need to ask more questions before hiring. 🤨

They were able to diagnose the leak and advise us on remedies, even though the cause ended up being unrelated to plumbing (they traced the water back to a nail hole in our siding which was allowing water to enter the house, great catch!). They were very thorough, communicative, and professional.

It was a blessing as we have a severe special needs child.We also had them do a quote for our putting plumbing in the upstairs closet for laundry & gas. Overall we are happy with our plumbing service. Friendly and knowledgeable guys however they did forget to turn on the hot water and water to the dishwasher before leaving. The dishwasher pod ended up burning and had we not been home could have been a big mess! So just be sure to check all your water is on and working before they leave.
