We needed a number of projects done around our house (changing locks, fixing electrical outlets, hanging heavy artwork, mounting TVs, putting in a railing, and painting our nursery) and Bobby and his team knocked everything out in a single day at an incredibly high quality. My husband and I also appreciated that when Bobby came out to give us a cost estimate, he told us there were certain projects on our list we could easily complete ourselves and explained what we would need to do it. As first-time homeowners, it was really nice knowing that we were working with someone who wasnt taking advantage of our lack of experience. Pricing was very fair, and a bargain for the quality and speed.

Ive been working with Bobby for 10+ years, now in three separate homes in the area! He is the absolute best. He has helped install lighting fixtures and shelving, hang large mirrors/paintings, mounting TVs.He has fixed our dishwasher and garbage disposal, among other things. Its really tough to find a good handyman. Most are either good at what they do and bad at the business and communication part, or vice versa. Bobby and his team are great at both. In one recent project he was hired to repaint my porch ceiling. After power washing the paint off I fell in love with the more rustic exposed wood. Bobby was able to pivot and sand areas of the ceiling to even out the farmhouse look. He then applied a water sealer to complete the job. Im totally in love with the look. Honest, reliable, timely, and professional. I recommend B. Alexanders Home Improvement without reservation.

We would highly recommend Bobby Alexander for any home improvement project. Bobby assisted us with the full renovation of a property-from demolition to framing to painting to putting in a whole new bathroom. Bobby also performed deck/staining work and some outdoor painting. Bobby does what he says he is going to do when he says he is going to do it. If there are ever any hiccups or issues, Bobby owns them ensuring you are satisfied with the product. He goes out of his way so that you are happy with his work and is an overall pleasure to work with. He also is a great problem solver and able to think creatively to solve more complex problems that may creep up on some larger projects. We are looking forward to our next project together. A bonus with Bobby is if there is a task he is uncomfortable doing, ie certain electric or plumbing areas, he is honest with you and will decline the extra work.If there is a project that you need done at your house, don’t hesitate to get in touch with Bobby.

Bobby was great!! He installed tile and mounted shelves in my condo and did such a wonderful job! There was an issue with mounting the shelves and he knew exactly how to handle it. If it would have been someone untrained, it would have turned into a huge issue. Everything looks so good and would definitely use them again!!

Mr. Alexander installed a water line for our new refrigerator. The line had to be run through the kitchen floor to connect with the water line in the laundry room in the basement. It was not an eaay job but it was done neatly and professionally. The job took about an hour and we had running water from the dispenser when he left. He was reasonably priced, cleaned up behind himself and left the rooms how he found them. We will definitely use him again.

I highly recommend Bobby Alexander. I have had trouble with my dryer vent line for years and just lived with the poor performance of my dryer because I couldnt get anyone to solve the problem. I reached out to Bobby via a service request through his website to see if he could help with that issue and install a new exhaust fan in my bathroom. He responded promptly, scheduled an initial inspection to develop a price quote, and scheduled the work once I approved the quote. Unlike other repairmen who have come to my house to troubleshoot the issues with the dryer, Bobby was determined to solve the problem. He spent hours in the crawlspace under our house testing every aspect of the dryer vent line. He found and corrected several issues and I finally have a functioning dryer! He also did a great job installing the new exhaust fan in the bathroom. Im so happy to have found a reliable handyman in my neighborhood! I will definitely hire him again.

They repainted it with the same color that was in the condo previously and fixed several imperfections, holes from hanging large photos, changed my bathroom color, and removed stains on the walls.Before moving in, his crew found time to squeeze me into their schedule on short notice. B Alexander’s price was fair and he was very professional, he provided a projected estimate after assessing the project, sent a reminder for the scheduled project date, and sent an invoice immediately upon completion; outstanding communication!My condo walls look great, I highly recommend B. Alexander and the team for your next project; he will serve as my contractor for anything with my condo while living in the DMV.
