No hot water. Called Cal’s plumbing. Sounded like they were booked solid for the day but dispatch said they would see what they could do. Donnie called and said he was on the way. Although it was late in the day, he said he could do a same day water heater replacement. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and professional and stayed until 730pm to finish the job. Kept me out of trouble with the family taking another cold shower. Thanks, Donnie for a job well done!

I had a great experience of working with Cal’s Plumbing. As is often the case, our problem was an urgent one and I was relieved that they were willing to send someone out right away to determine what needed to be done. Communication throughout was excellent. My initial phone call was answered quickly and the emails and text messages that were sent confirming the appointment and updating me with respect to arrival times, etc. were a great help.Our technician, Tony Cooper, was just the best. Professional and knowledgeable, of course, but also easy to talk to. I got the impression that he really likes helping folk. With respect to the repair, he took the time to explain in what needed to be done and provided a detailed breakdown of the costs involved. The estimate that was provided included lots of photographs. Such attention to detail was much appreciated.The repair itself went well and I’m extremely happy with the result. It’s not an easy job and Tony clearly takes pride in his work and went above and beyond to make a difficult situation less stressful.

We had a plumbing (one shower not getting hot water) problem. We called Cals Plumbing, as we have had great service with them previously. Plumber Tyler Manley arrived shortly. He was proficient, professional, and pleasant. He talked us through every step of the repair. He even had to go out and get us our needed part from another part of town. We had a possible leak that we wanted a plumber to come look at. We were able to have someone come out same day. We had Martin as our tech and he was amazing! He was clearly very knowledgeable and answered all our questions and was able to give us peace of mind about the possible leak. Cals Plumbing did an awesome job. Scheduling was easy. The office person was polite, pleasant and gave flexible options for times.Martin called 30 minutes before his arrival around 9am. The appointment was for small indoor things. By chance, my water had been turned off by the water company the day before because of a huge leak in the main pipe to the house. Martin did not hesitate to tackle this big job and to guide me through the process of repair. He had to travel to town to get parts and an assistant but didnt hesitate to keep working until nearly 6 pm so that we had water again. Throughout, he was cheerful, kept me informed, explained things patiently and showed me photos of the final repair. I could not have asked for better service during a stressful day.

In 2018 Cals Plumbing repaired a broken water pipe that was buried under the cement in our carport. They did such a great job then that we called Cals again, late last night, when our main water pipe sprung a leak and we had to shut off our water service after filling up large containers to service our nights needs.Donny appeared early this morning ready to assess the situation and perform the needed repair. He found the break in the pipe, which was buried under the ground in front of our home, dug out a suitable area to work, and repaired it quickly and cleaned up the area after waiting during lunch to be certain the pipe was solid under pressure.The charge was very appropriate for the amount of work performed and time spent at our home. We would not hesitate to call on Cals Plumbing again if the need arises.The photos are of the break in an original join, the repair, and the covered up area following the repair.

Donnie arrived was very professional was able to diagnose a major problem with the root system within our flange he was able to repair efficiently and effectively. Was able to get a quote/estimate and work scheduled for doing some work on the water main within a few days of calling. The worker showed up on time, was professional, and answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. They went over some possible scenarios/what-ifs and how to handle them. There was no up selling or pushing unneeded products or features. Had received a few quotes for the work over the past few weeks and, while not the cheapest, Cals was not the most expensive. Ultimately went with them as they seemed more trustworthy than some of the other options and so far no regrets.

I had Cals Plumbing Tech Matt out to my house to look at a leaking gavanized pipe in a tiny crawl space under my house. Matt was plumber # 3 out to my house and far exceeded my expectations for his consideration for my property (conscious for dirty shoes in my tenants home) and his thoroughness of his assessment of my plumbing issues. I also received a little biographical introduction of Matt the Plumber describing a little about himself and his experience. I thought this was a very nice personal touch. Best of all, the thorough bid I received included a diagram clarifying for me the plan to re-plumb my house was clearly understood and addressed all my requests at price well within my budget. Super experience with this company. We had a water leak due to a corroded galvanized pipe; Cal’s was out within 2 hours, as promised. They replaced the entire line the next day and provided a temporary water line during the job so we had a water supply the entire time. Matt (Technician) was very friendly, thorough, made sure everything was accurate and no surprises. He gave excellent options and good advice. The other 2 companies we asked to give bids did not look closely at the whole project- one had a clearly inexperienced person who did not look at everything and came back with a SUPER high bid , and the other company did not even bother to give us a bid…just said “Are you sure? it’s going to cost a LOT of money…”. Cal’s estimate seemed fair. We will definitely stick with Cal’s Plumbing in the future.

A very heartening result following an immensely dismaying experienceI feel the need to share how refreshing it is to find and deal with such a customer-focused company as Cal’s Plumbing. After a costly attempt at having another company repair a main waterline leak, and having it turn into merely a “quote” for the work to commence next week (no actual repair service was provided on this service call), I finally connected with Cal’s Plumbing. They quickly responded with a caring, diligent and honest repairman, Dan. He reviewed the problem area, the water service line and the difficult surface under consideration. He advised me to first connect with American Leak Detection (ALD) who could pinpoint the leak location, rather than have him attempt to do so by tearing up the concrete entry to our carport one foot at a time, without being certain he could hit the spot. He informed me of what ALD would charge for the location work—which, coincidently, was about what we paid the first plumbing company to merely provide a quote! I called ALD; they arranged for a morning visit as it was already late in the day since so many hours were lost in having the first company come and merely provide me with a quote.ALD sent a professional first thing in the morning, who found the spot in less than an hour. Then I called Cal’s Plumbing and spoke with Leonard (Dan was off this day), who had already been informed that I would be calling and he came in less than half an hour.Leonard is the consummate professional, quick, respectful, polite and anxious to get the work done. After introductions, he saw the marked spot, went right to his truck for a Jack Hammer, and commenced the work. I checked in and took photos while the work was being done and he never minded my presence. In short order (it was grueling work) he had a 2.5’ x 2’ section of thick concrete cut out neatly, dug down at least 2’ to find the line, identified the crack, cut that section and replaced it with a “Smith Blair repair coupling,” (that’s what’s on the invoice) so that it would be a stronger repair than merely applying the glue originally quoted by the first company. He pressurized the system and tested it and the meter reading. Then he cleaned up the site, removed and hauled away the busted concrete and was completely done while still early in the morning! He then settled with me on the invoice (even crediting back the original service call by Dan since they offer free estimates) and provided me with a Military Discount, something that really helped and is so appreciated. (We had discussed military backgrounds during his work and my attempts to get him to take a break.) The charge was approximately 1/5 of the first company’s quote—and that original quote did not guarantee locating the leak for that price!Leonard was such a thoughtful and honest individual. I can imagine he might come across as rough to some who do not see how direct and committed he is to getting the work done quickly and professionally. It was a pleasure to spend time with such a dedicated individual.I very highly recommend this company, Cal’s Plumbing, and along with the staff I had the pleasure to interact with, Dan and Leonard.

We bought an old home and had an added surprise of all the sewer lines in the concrete slab needing replacement! We had five companies in Tucson give us estimates, and nobody really got what we were trying to accomplish with the repairs and added remodeling. Our last call was to Cals, thankfully. Leonard came out and spent two hours looking at the property and came up with a bid to replace all our drain lines, and re-plumb the entire house for thousands less than the other bids. They started exactly when they said they would, and did an amazing job. Leonard and Ken each have 30 years experience as plumbers, and it shows. Last Friday night, we discovered our bedroom closet carpet was soaking wet.The next morning I did a search for a good plumbing company, saw the reviews for Cals and called them.Within a couple of hours, Martin from Cals arrived and discovered that our water heater, our eight year old recently tested water heater, had leaked from the garage through our laundry room into our bedroom closet and bathroom.By that night, Cals partner company, Bingham Restoration, that deals with remediation, put blowers in each room and the full extent of the leak had been figured out. The two guys who pulled the drywall, placed the blowers, etc....they worked from roughly 3:30 pm to midnight until the job was done. No complaining, they were total gentlemen.Tomorrow, Cals will install a new water heater.The blowers will stay in place for three to five days, however long it takes, and someone from Bingham Restoration will come to our house once a day to check if the moisture from the leak is gone. Once everything is dry, theyll take the blowers and restore the drywall, etc.I experienced a leak that could have been disastrous, but wound up being merely inconvenient thanks to Cals and Bingham. I am IMPRESSED with Cals Plumbing (my new go-to plumbing company) and with Bingham Restoration, who could not have responded faster, could not have done a better job than they did.A request from me: If youve got people breaking a sweat for you, let them use your restroom and give them some cold water. If theyre working through mealtime, especially 8:00 pm or later, buy them a meal. Theyve earned it.

They called back within a few minutes of my reaching out to them and were able to set an appointment for following day. The service went well. Jack was very nice and very informative. My final charge was adjusted to less than the original quote. Not a lot less, but every dollar counts these days. He gave a lot of good information and made some good suggestions about what I could do moving forward. Outstanding service all around. 10/10 would recommend and will use again when needed.

I called on Thursday afternoon regarding trouble with my lift station. The rep scheduled me for Friday and mentioned if a tech had time they would reach out to me and arrive Thursday.30 minutes later I received a text from Tony. He was available and on his way. Tony diagnosed my problem within 20 minutes of his arrival. He was professional, more than qualified and his communication skills were perfect. I’m a retired custom home builder from Colorado. I’ve worked with many Plumbing Contractors in my career. Cal’s Plumbing and Tony are definitely Number 1. I’d like to say more but I’m on my way to Starbucks to pick up a gift card for Tony for a small token of my appreciation.

We had the BEST experience ever with Cals Plumbing. Our septic backed up, leaving 10 people without bathroom/water use. They were out here same day and quick. It was a hot mess, but Tyler and Raul handled it like true professionals and even cleaned up the mess so it looked sparkling new. Highly, highly recommend Cals. Theyve moved to the #1 spot in our contact list for all of our plumbing needs.

There is a reason Cal’s plumbing has such high ratings. They EARNED It!!! I have rental house in Vail, Az. (Suburb of Tucson). Renters found leak at faucet, I called a few plumbers. One does AC in area, not plumbing, one did not answer and the third was Cal’s. They answered the phone, Mary was super courteous, listened and scheduled service for the next day. (This was not an emergency). They email you and give you two hour window so you are not waiting all day!! Johnathan H. called me after assessing issue. Explained issue and offered resolution. He had multiple faucet options on hand in truck, which made it possible to resolve issue immediately. He texted me pictures of options and then after selecting, installed. My renters had same day resolution of leak and didn’t need to deal with it going into weekend. I’m so grateful for Cal’s plumbing service, professionalism, and Johnathan H’s plumbing skills. I highly recommend them, and you will notice I am not alone in the reviews.

Laughed and called Cals Plumbing who had the repair complete in 2 hours after I first contacted them. Needless to say Cals is my company now.March 2022 Update - Continue to be please with Cals for my plumbing needs. Explains the problem and offers logical solutions.Oct 2024 - Just needed help with a plumbing issue and I still will only call Cals. The techs were friendly and answered all my questions and concerns.

As a 20-something woman, I didnt feel uncomfortable or like he was trying to upsell/pull one over on me. Def would recommend for other people, single women especially!

I highly recommend this company. The response time was very quick. The technicians were professional, honest and very knowledgeable about what needed to be done to fix my sewer back up. The technician recommended fix for now and the future was appropriate for industry standards. My Dad is a plumber who lives out of state who questioned the recommendations of another plumbing company I had out yesterday. Cal’s plumbing recommended what my Dad wanted done without knowing what he thought. Pricing is comparable to 2 other quotes BUT Cal’s has the expertise and the best equipment for the job. AND there’s no busting up my foundation in two rooms to do the fix. The technician explained EVERYTHING unlike several other companies in the area.

I’m new to town and had to pick a plumber solely on reviews and reputation. I’m honestly very impressed with their work. Called on a Saturday afternoon to get a bathtub installed and a water heater replaced, and it was done by 4pm on Monday. Ryan did a very neat job, was very professional, and it was all priced fairly.
