James from a local plumbing company provided us with an excellent service. We were dealing with a stubbornly blocked drain that we couldnt clear ourselves, even with a drain snake. James, however, went above and beyond. He braved the crawl space under the house and discovered that a low spot had been created in the drain when it had been raised to accommodate other lines a few years back. This dip in the drain was causing grease and other debris to accumulate. In response, James returned later with the necessary materials and replaced the lines to meet the required specifications, effectively resolving the issue once and for all! Its worth mentioning that everyone at the plumbing company is incredibly friendly. We would not hesitate to call on them again if the need arises. One small piece of advice we would offer to others is to get a written and signed quote if youre given a fixed price. This benefits both parties. True to his word, Dwayne was able to diagnose the issue swiftly - a malfunctioning heating element - and managed to get our hot water running again that very night! He even suggested a cost-effective replacement for the faulty part! Dwaynes service was truly exceptional, and I REALLY APPRECIATE his swift response... our house was starting to get cold! Half of the cartridge broke within the faucet, creating a significant problem when trying to remove it. Brody was able to assist with removing the broken cartridge, installing a new one, and promptly restoring the water supply to the house. His performance was exceptional and very professional. I initially had a different plumbing service check out a leak appearing on the exterior of my home, below the kitchen sink, between the slab and the bricks. That company diagnosed it as a slab leak and handed me a staggering $10k quote to make the repair, following an exorbitantly priced diagnostic fee. My insurance company thought the quote was too high, so they recommended Baxter Brothers Plumbing for a second opinion. Dwayne was quick to assess that the issue was not a slab leak but a leak above the slab. He promptly repaired it for a fee equivalent to what the first company had charged for their diagnosis. Interestingly, he pointed out that even if it had been a slab leak as initially diagnosed, Baxter Brothers Plumbing would have charged less than half of the first companys quote. Unconvinced by the simple fix, the first company insisted on sending their team for another inspection. I decided to have Dwayne present during their visit to ensure everyone was on the same page. Dwayne demonstrated a static water test in front of the other company at my home in Oro Valley, explained his method of identifying the problem, and proved their misdiagnosis. This ultimately saved me thousands of dollars. The other company acknowledged their mistake, and I am now getting a refund for their expensive misdiagnosis fee. If you are dealing with a slab leak and need a plumber who can explain their findings in detail, show proof through a static water test, and isnt afraid to back up their work in front of another company, look no further. They also handled the city permits on our behalf, although we were charged extra for this, which was a bit of a surprise. However, it was mentioned in the initial estimate, so it was an acceptable inconvenience, I guess. The project was completed over 5 days with meticulous cleanliness and high-quality work across the complex. We aced the city inspection on our first attempt.

Dwayne didnt pressurize her to replace the old water heater immediately, but considering it was nearing the end of its typical lifespan, my mother requested him to install a new one for her peace of mind. They arrived earlier than anticipated and even reduced the bill since my husband had already dug up the area to find the concealed clean out.
