I highly recommend Kirk with Preferred Plumbing Professionals. I contacted Kirk on a Sunday afternoon with a major leaking water intake pipe issue. He was at my home to access the situation within a very short time. I am a 75 year old widow and I was freaking out! I had to shut my water off all day Sunday and I was in the middle of preparing to leave town for an extended trip on Wednesday. Kirk reassured me that he could help, and he certainly did. Within 24 hours he and his crew of two worked hard and fast to replace and repair what needed to be done.I will forever be grateful for Kirk’s responsiveness, his kindness, his work ethic, his professionalism, and his reasonable rates. Preferred Plumbing will be my go-to service from now on! I found a leak below my kitchen sink the day before Thanksgiving and the family was coming to my house! Kirk came over to our house late at night and helped my MIL fix her sink issue. The water to the entire house was off because there were no shut-off valves under our sink. He was nice and professional. He quickly installed shut-off valves and let my MIL know we needed to watch the areas incase there was any leaking. Would highly recommend and use his services again!!

Kirk was incredible. Very responsive, helpful and quick to fix our problem. This afternoon the spigot on the front of our house broke off and we had water running non stop. Called Kirk and with in a few hours he was out to assess the issue and got to work. 45 minutes later the spigot was replaced. Water was back on in the house. He was quick to work and very kids to stop and respond to my kids when they wanted to ask him something or tell them their names.Thank you for the great work. Cant recommend you enough!

Kirk did a great job. I now have a new water heater & toilet. And the outdoor faucet that he replaced for me (cracked pipe from our last freeze) is wonderful. I also had another outdoor faucet added. It will be so much easier to water my yard this summer.He also cleaned up everything when he was done. And hauled the old (1999) water heater away.I highly recommend him. You will be happy with his work.

Kirk is a fantastic plumbing professional to work with. He was very responsive and was able to schedule me into his busy schedule almost immediately. It only took him a few minutes to figure out my hot water tank issue and fixed it quickly. I have lived in Topeka a while and have worked with other good plumbing companies but I know who I will be calling first. Kirk Miller from Preferred Plumbing does excellent work. My fairly new house (just over 5 years old) turned out to have defective feed lines for each of the thee toilets. Luckily, unlike some of my neighbors, none of mine had cracked yet. The builder provided free replacement lines and Kirk got them installed very quickly and cleanly, not a drop of water anywhere. His price was very reasonable and I didnt have to wait long at all to get on his schedule.

Kirk was AMAZING!We had a surprise oh golly, theres water coming through the ceiling emergency during a renovation. Kirk was available to come RIGHT away to help solve the issue. The portion of plumbing that needed replaced was in a terrible location, requiring Kirk to wiggle and contort, shoving his arms into a tiny space above his head to make the fitting (picture: delivering a calf) - and Kirk was patient, professional, and humorous the entire time. The price was completely fair for this after-hours emergency; strongly recommend!

We had a pipe burst during the big freeze. Kirk drove all the way from emporia after hours to check on our house. He was able to find the leak and come up with a solution the same day, and by the next morning everything was fixed and good as new. No other plumber in the area was able to see us the same day. Very Impressed! I had a man come over to haul off my washer and dryer Friday morning before the new ones arrived. When washer was pulled out the valve it was hooked up had no shut off valve attached! It was the original from 1966 when house was built. Washers water couldnt be shut off and hauled away. I needed it removed Asap so the new could be delivered! I thought with it being Friday afternoon Id Never find a plumber and would have to cancel and reschedule delivery. But No I Didnt! I explained this to Kirk Miller, Owner of Preferred Plumbing and he went out of his way to make sure this was taken care of. He showed up at my place in 45 min like he said he would and had it completed in no time at all and done professionally! I had a hose bib that went bad in the evening which meant I had to shut the water off to my house so the bib was not endlessly leaking water. I called Kirk as soon as it happened and he was at my house within a couple of hours. In just 20 minutes after arriving, he had the old bib removed and the new one installed. I had installed 4 shut off valves under two sinks, which I have done several times with no issues. Started dripping steadily in basement under that floor. I thought something had sprung a leak from one of the water lines, because nothing was visibly leaking under my sinks. Afterthought was I could have tried to tighten things up and would have taken care of it.He was on time, immediately noticed my work, was almost 100% positive I had not seated them right. I had him install 4 new valves, which were probably better quality than what I had. Was in and out in about 45 minutes. I highly recommend Preferred Plumbing Professionals. I had a toilet that wouldnt stop running. I shut off the water supply valve to the toilet to stop the running, but then the shut off valve started leaking. I was in a panic, as it was the weekend and I wasnt sure if I could find anyone to fix the leak. I called Kirk and he was just leaving a previous job and told me hed be at my place in 15 minutes. Not only did he get to my place quickly, he quickly diagnosed the problem and had it fixed within 10 minutes - hes a life saver! The price was extremely reasonable - by far the most affordable plumber I have ever used. Hes honest, down to earth and very knowledgeable. Thank you so much Kirk! 😃
