I recommend including McElroys when getting quotes on HVAC system replacements. The two installers on my job were top notch and the installation itself is outstanding. They worked in concert as though they had been working together for decades. Im glad to have a high efficiency system I can monitor and control from my phone when on vacation, especially in the winter.

I needed my old HVAC system replaced and Haig came out to gave me several options and prices. Once we decided on the system the crew came out and installed it all in one day. They cleaned up and left nothing but a fantastic heat pump and furnace. Haig was very responsive to all my questions. I highly recommend McElroys for your HVAC needs. I am confident I have a great system that will last a very long time

I have relied on McElroys for many years for a variety of services, so when my air conditioning stopped working I called to make an appointment. I spoke with Julie who was super friendly and assisted in finding a convenient day and time for a technician to come take a look at the problem. I received a call letting me know that someone was heading my way, a courtesy that I find very helpful indeed. Technician arrived promptly and got right to work. The problem was diagnosed and fix quickly. Another potential problem was noticed and although an immediate repair was not needed at that time, it would need to be serviced in the near future. I made the decision to go ahead and have the part replaced. Did not take long at all. The cost was reasonable and I paid by check. The technician was knowledgeable and courteous. A very pleasant experience as always. I am happy with the work that was performed. I will call McElroys for any future servicing my heating and cooling may require. I can honestly recommend McElroys to anyone needing a heating/cooling repair.

Over the past couple of summers, we were having to add Freon to our AC system to make it through the summer seasons. In the spring of 2019, we decided to replace our 26 year old Trane system. We solicited proposals from 4 contractors. Pricing on similarly sized systems was comparable. We selected the proposal from McElroy’s which was for a Bosch 1½ – 3 ton inverter AC unit with a 14 SEER rating paired with an 80% AFUE forced air gas furnace.After accepting the proposal, installation was scheduled for the next week (May 2, 2019). The installer technicians (Ben and Skyler) arrived at our home a few minutes ahead of schedule, reviewed the project with us and began work immediately. The job was completed by late afternoon the same day. The technicians loaded the old unit for disposal; cleaned up the job site, both inside and out; checked the systems to insure they were operating properly and within the equipment’s specifications; and, provided us with an overview of how to operate the systems.In May of 2019, we did have some cool evenings on which we did use the new furnace. It operated as expected and kept the house comfortable. Then came the record setting June, July and August summer months. The new system handled the demand. For May-August, our combined kWh per day averaged 22% below last year’s for the same period.Before we made our decision, we didn’t know much about Bosch HVAC systems. So, we did some online research and contacted Greg Hunsicker at McElroy’s to get information. While the Bosch name is not as well known in the HVAC field as some others, they do have an excellent reputation in the engineering and electronics fields which we expected to translate into this area. We were pleased with the council we received from Greg Hunsicker and relied on it to make our decision.We would recommend McElroy’s and Bosch HVAC Systems to people who may be considering replacing existing systems.Chuck & Julie SmrhaSeptember 10, 2019

AC condenser unit went out yesterday, looked at it today, scroll compressor went out. Flew to Iowa private plane to get new one, none in KC or Topeka. Is that going out of the way for customer service or what? Im just a residential customer. Then to top things off McElroy had a 20 year parts and labor warranty on the compressor, my cost was zero. This is a Carrier Infinity Heat Pump.

I called McElroys early this Monday morning for a dripping faucet at our commercial building. They were going to try to come today if time allowed, however service the next day was planned. Then, within the hour a tech was here and done! Saved several buckets of dripping water! The only reason for 4 stars is the tech did not check in with me (the point of contact) during his visit.

I needed a new airconditioner and furnace. I actually contacted McElroy by mistake and I am so glad I did. I got quotes from 4 different companies, 1 really high and 3 that were all close. of the three, Haig with McElroys was the most professional. He went over different options with different price points and explained everything along with leaving a folder with information about the different systems. Installers were professional, and Haig followed up the next day to make wure everything went ok and we didnt have any questions. Would highly recommend them

We have used McElroys Inc. for many years, for AC & Heating, Plumbing, and whenever we need electrical service we will ask them for that service too. Their quality of work is always excellent, they provide choices of what product to use, and we are able to have a selection of choices. When there is an emergency you can count on them to react as quickly as possible. We have total confidence in their professional staff and their technicians, and we have never been disappointed. You get what you pay for, and we are satisfied that we have always received our moneys worth. Remember that expression, its worth every penny.

We had our kitchen faucet stop working over Labor Day weekend. McElroys was the only plumber to call us back. They worked with us over the phone to diagnose the issue and insure that we could leave on our trip and take care of the problem when we returned. They were professional and courteous and took care of the issue in a timely manner. We will be using them from now on.

Our air conditioner went out on the weekend in July. They were at our house in no time and had it fixed quickly. They were willing to work with us on billing, allowing us to make weekly payments. I would definitely call them the next time I have an issue and would highly recommend them to friends or neighbors.
