My mothers thermostat suddenly stopped working. Its Friday, and two days after Christmas. I thought Id never get a same-day appointment. I was so wrong! Jonathan came to the rescue and was there in 30 minutes. He installed a new thermostat in under 2 hours! Now that is amazing customer service. He even chose an e-z read thermostat due to my moms advanced age and cognitive deficits. I didnt even have to ask. Its A-1 Plumbing, Heating, Cooling and Electrical from here on out. Unbelievable service for a fair price. Thank you, so much Jonathan!

I called them because I had a leak for a long time in my outside faucet. They were prompt in their communication and were able to address the issue. Kyler was awesome, timely and honest. Essentially, the faucet on my home is old and it didnt even require any actually work. He tightened what needed to be tightened and showed me in my basement where the shut off value is to prevent any further leaking. He advised that he wouldnt charge me anything since he didnt really do anything but I still paid him. Time is money and its the holidays. His honesty and reassurance of the issue and his care of showing me how to do something myself was worth writing a check. I highly recommend them and will continue to use their services when needed.

Had plumber out to clear issue with water backing up into basement from floor drain. Appeared to be cleared but 4 days later water is backing up into basement from floor drain again.Update. They came out again and re-augured the drain at no additional charge. After a week, things are working fine. So I am updating the review to 4 stars. Would be 5 except for the need for a return visit.

We have been using A-1 for many years to keep our heat pump going. They are always prompt, professional, they do high quality work, and we can depend on them to make good recommendations for new equipment.The service advisor Ryan McAvay is a fine example of their professionals. He came out this morning promptly to address a minor problem. He fixed it, checked the A/C while he was here, and was on his way in just 15 minutes.

I called A-1 plumbing because the sewer line in my home was backing up. My call was answered right away. Ashley was very polite and professional. She said she could have a technician out the same day. The communication was great. I was texted with messages with a time frame on when the technician would arrive along with a photo of the tech and credentials and follow up text when he was on his way. Johnathan and his assistant Dominic were the gentlemen who were sent to my house. My home is 114 yrs. old and my clean out was very compromised. Unfortunately, they werent prepared to replace new piping and a clean out due to their schedule for the day but give me a written estimate and scheduled me for the next day. Again, they were great with their communication and did a wonderful job. There were a lot of tree roots blocking the line. they were removed and the sewer line was treated for tree roots. Johnathan and Dominic educated me on how to keep the sewer line clear of tree roots and maintenance on my water heater. They were respectful, polite and did not take advantage of me because I am a female senior. I have added them to my phone list and plan to call them again for any other issues I have with my home.

Despite being almost mid summer they were out within a week to install where other companies were scheduling about a month out. I dont remember who the estimator was that came out, but we were considering a mini-split system for our attic bedroom when we called. During the free estimate visit, he was able to point out 2 things we could do to improve our current cooling without spending any money. He was very thorough with the estimate for the mini-split, and the estimate was reasonably priced based on other estimates we had received. Ultimately, we have decided to wait to be in this house for a bit longer before making a decision on a mini split system, BECAUSE HIS ADVICE WORKED SO WELL!!! Cant thank A-1 enough for the free tips, and plan to use them in the future for any needs we may have.

I cant recommend A-1 enough. My AC unit quit working during triple digit heat. A-1 was able to get Ryan to my home the same day I called. Ryan is super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He checked my AC out and explained everything he was doing. He was honest, and in the end I decided to go with a new unit, as mine was 18 years old. Shawn and another gentleman (I didnt catch his name) came out the very next day and replaced the unit. They are both super friendly and knowledgeable as well - they had my new unit in within only a couple of hours. When my AC went out, I thought it would be weeks before I could get someone out to my house, but A-1 saved saved the day! I cant recommend them enough. Done a bit through A1 this year. Not always the best price on some things but alot figures in to that. They are generally very fast at getting to the work which alone could fetch a premium. Always friendly. Wasnt thrilled with some duct work they did for me felt like it was explained as a specialty thing needing to have the take off be custom built since it was fiber board and that was the reason for the price being so high then there was nothing custom about the 6inch duct they ran lol. That was my only semi-negative experience. That being said i have used them since that and would use them again.

These folks are fantastic! My furnace stopped working on Wednesday afternoon. I called and spoke with BriAnne who said she would send someone to my home within the hour.
