    This company was amazing and was able to schedule us right away. An Electrician named Frank came out and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable to be able to help out our Church.He installed power for 2 emergency exit signs that did not light up due to not receiving power from a nonworking source. The price was less than we anticipated, and the work was phenomenal. Now we are up to code per fire inspection and will pass when the fire marshal stops in again.

    Robert did such a great job! He listened to what I needed and was able to give me more than i expected. He installed my Tesla charger in the right spot and even waited until I made sure that the tesla charged properly before leaving. I wish I would have called him first!

    Great experience. My tech was knowledgable. He wasnt just trying to make a sale. He explained several different options to accomplish the task, went through the pros and cons of each method. The tech was incredibly polite and very clean. The job was in an active remodel area, but he still masked off for dusting.The communication and status updates was constant. Several text reminders prior. Didnt have to wonder if they were going to show up.Price was about where i expected it to be for the actual job. It’s not on the cheap end, however, the finished product is completed with no issues.The tech did do the job to code and didnt cut corners. When doing the job correctly, understandably, there had to be drywall cutting.My neighbor was pleased with this company, he showed me what they did for him and i wanted the same. We were both pleased with the work done on our separate homes by the same company.

    Steven and Robert came to my home and were just amazing. They actually called and offered to come early, as they had already completed their prior job. So professional, informed, and helpful. They guided me through the choices I needed to make to install electricity box to complete installation of lighting for my hutch, and then wiring my tiffany hanging lamp and hanging it across the room. They went into the attic to make sure the joist was installed and power moved to the new light fixture. The former ceiling light was removed and a cover installed so you cant even notice that I moved the lighting. They cleaned everything and left no traces they were there, other than the wonderful lighting I now have in my study. Thank you for your terrific work. And best of all, it was very affordable and reasonable pricing. Great job! Ill be using in the future for all electrical issues that arise.

    Skyler came early and spent hours taking care of my problem. The wind during a storm had broken an old wire going into the a/c unit, and he had to run a new circuit. He was nice enough to do the job the same day (86 degrees temp inside) and is exceptionally courteous and friendly. I highly recommend him and this company.

    Skyler Martin, our technician, did a spectacular and thorough job.We needed to do a whole-house inspection of all the electrical outlets and connections, because a former tenant in our house did a huge amount of damage.Skyler did the review, and then gave us his frank and honest assessment of what is needed to get the electrical situation in the house up to code standards.     Skyler Martin was beyond amazing! He was punctual, explained what he would be doing and completed the job in a timely manner. Mr. Electric by far gave me the best price on replacing my main breaker panel than any other competitor in my area. Also, I called on this Monday 7/24/23 and they came out today 7/26/23 to complete the work. A competitor gave told me i would have to wait 2 weeks! I will definitely be using Mr. Electric again!

    Hurricane Helene destroyed a lot of my home including the electric.I would highly recommend, Skylar and Maikel were awesome. Skylar kept I contact throughout the entire process.     Company was not clear on pricing. Got one price for service call and that price was to be applied to work that needed to be done. It was not clear that the service call DID NOT INCLUDE diagnosis. When all items were added up, the price was astronomical even after applying the service call fee. WOW....HOWEVER, after discussion and a little prioritization, we did get an important situation fixed and the price was still too high but tolerable. I rated the company a 4 and responded with a 7 on most likely to try again BECAUSE the service fellow KIEV was beyond nice and understanding and went out of his way to satisfy us on this service call. THAT IS THE ONLY REASON.

    These days not often does one encounter a company or business that the impact of their exceptional professionalism, customer service and responsive communications lasts longer and well beyond after the job has been completed. My experience with Mr. Electric of Lutz was such and it compels me to write this detailed review.Right from my first call, I encountered Ms. Kristy with her professional and responsive communications in setting up a time for a quote. I was kept informed when their technician was running late which I appreciated.Mr. Kief showed up, answered all our questions, gave us suggestions. This was a job for installing a chandelier on a 24 foot ceiling and would need specialized scaffolding. They emailed me a quote that day itself.After answering additional questions I set up an installation date and time. Throughout this process and the day before as well as the day of, I was texted and called with updates.They honored my request of sending me the same technician Mr. Kief and this time he had assistance of Mr. Mills. Both of them were deliberately slow taking measurements, careful and methodical in bringing the heavy, robotic Genie scaffolding into our house (see pics). Just to be safe they even removed our main door. They needed more assistance so they contacted their supervisor and explained to us while patiently waiting. The owner of the company Mr. Eric and his supervisor Mr. Alan showed up. All of them worked like a team in getting the Genie unit into and out of the house. The job was completed to our satisfaction and we are grateful for that. It was nice to chat with the owner and learn that this is a family run business. That is reflected in how their employees act and are supported to make the right decisions. Highly impressive and well done!

    I had John M. install a ceiling fan in my rental condo but there was no existing electric so he had to get creative and ran power from my hard wired smoke detector (concrete slab ceiling so dropping electric from above not possible). He had to run conduit to conceal the wiring as best as possible and took the time to match the conduit to the ceiling color and his lines were clean and straight. Excellent work. Competitor wanted to destroy my crown moulding and cut unnecessary holes in the walls. I was so pleased then I had John come to my house and install an exterior receptacle on my patio. Once again he had to get creative and take power from an interior light switch and ran through my concrete wall. Plum and clean lines and looks fantastic. John explains everything, is friendly, and cleans up afterward. Thanks John!

    Kiev installed an upstairs electrical outlet. He is a personable and knowledgeable young man and did not waste time while performing his tasks. He thoroughly cleaned up the sheet rock debris to include inside stairs. He was meticulous cutting out the sheet rock necessary to run the line; we can re-use the cut out piece to re-cover the hole that was necessary to run the line. Thanks to the team!     Just had Mr. Electric fix some electrical issues in my home (repairing non-working outlets, added additional outlets, installed ceiling fan and added new ceiling light electrical connections and fixture). They were able to schedule me right away and showed up on time (8am). Robert and Nikolai gave me an estimate before any repairs were made and immediately went to work upon my approval. They were able to get everything done same day (even when I added an extra job). They were polite and efficient. Price was reasonable - It wasnt cheap, but it was done right! I would recommend.

    Mr Electric provided same day service and it was a Great experience! We had a couple of outlets that went out in our home and couldn’t figure out why. They sent out Doug who was very professional and friendly. I liked that the company sends a text with a picture of the technician so you’ll know who to expect at your door and you can track their arrival status. Once he arrived, Doug took a look around and whipped out his tools and gadgets and got straight to work. I have no complaints and definitely recommend. Their price wasn’t bad either. 😊

    If I could give 10 stars I would without hesitation. Steven came out and provided me with three separate estimates. It was my first time ever getting electrical work done as I am a new home owner. After shopping around, Mr. Electric was by far the best in price and had the most honest and trustable electricians (Mr. Sparky wanted almost triple the amount for the same work). My home was built in the 70s and needed a lot of electrical upgrades. Steven, Robert, and Michael came out and got it all done in a single day! The professionalism from all three of them was through the roof . They explained everything in detail and the entire process was incredibly smooth. Amazing work and even more amazing guys who got my house beautifully updated and up to code.

I was left without power in my newly remodeled bathroom, an outside outlet, and one in my garage.The contractors wouldnt return to try to figure out where they could have messed up, so I called Mr. Electric. The experience was great from the moment I called to schedule. Steven contacted me before arrival and was very friendly and professional. Steven had Will with him and they both were great. I asked the guys to wear shoe coverings which they did with no issues. I was given a run down of how my appointment could possibly go and I was told up front what costs I would incur.     We had a fan basically fall off of the ceiling while trying to attach the cord on it one night. Mr. Electric was able to come out only a few hours after I called and fixed it quickly and explained why the person that put it up that I found on thumb tack didnt do it correctly. When I called Mr. Electric they were very professional and friendly. The technician they sent out (Skylar) was awesome and did a great job! He respected my house and even put up with my dogs sniffing him like crazy. I liked how I was sent a picture of him before he arrived so I knew who would be coming.     A surge left us with no power to our living room. I contacted Mr. Electric and spoke with a very friendly and professional Cristy (my first name twin), who scheduled me for an appointment the following day.Doug, the electrician, called me a couple hours before my appointment to see if Id like him to arrive earlier, as they had an opening. They were nice when I declined - and even nicer when I asked if they could come a little later.Doug called me when he was leaving his job an hour away to make sure the timing worked for me. It did. Because Im a cancer patient, I asked Doug if hed wear a mask while in our home. He pleasantly agreed and was wearing one when he arrived. Doug was as clean cut and polite as they come. Turns out hes been in the industry for 11 years, so I felt confident that he knew what he was doing.My only complaint was I had called for and was expecting a free estimate. There had been no discussion of the $209/hr diagnostics fee, so I experienced a little sticker shock up front. Doug, however, said it was fine if I didnt want to do the diagnostics; his visit was free. He was very no pressure, which I appreciated.Because I know most of the other companies charge for estimates anyway, I went ahead and agreed to the diagnostics. Doug quickly identified the problem and thoroughly explained the issues and cost to me. Fortunately, the repair was not too expensive - and Doug didnt waste time or dawdle. He was able to correct the issues and was done before the window for his arrival had closed.We have other electrical work planned for the future and Ill be calling Mr. Electric (and requesting Doug!) for an estimate for that work - and likely hiring them again. Overall, I felt Doug was extremely professional, polite, honest and patient - and look forward to his help with future electrical projects.Thanks again to Cristy and Doug for making our first experience with Mr. Electric a positive one!

    Current insurance companies have a certain dislike for Federal Pacific breaker panels so this precipitated our panel change out. Our home was built in 1960 with two 100 amp main disconnects on the outside and two panels on the inside. The meter box was changed to a single 200 amp disconnect and the inside to a single 200 amp panel with a new 50 amp range feed and surge protector. It was an extensive operation and our home also has a roof with a 2/12 pitch making it everyone’s favorite to crawl around in!I was home and available to answer any questions installers Frank and Drew might have during the 2-1/2 day gauntlet. I have been in the construction trade myself for over forty years so I know when I’m dealing with people that know what they’re doing and are not afraid to work. From the moment they stepped foot on our property till the moment they left, they were focused on getting the job done. Dealing with these young men reassure you that there is hope for the trades in America.Everyone we dealt with; Eric, Doug, Angel, Frank, Drew, exemplified professionalism and integrity!I would HIGHLY recommend Mr Electric of Lutz and one more thing, the roof seal on the weather head was amazing … no roofer could have done a better job.Stellar job guys!!

    The technician I spoke to was friendly and informative. He made a competent impression on me. He answered my questions and carried out the repair which was to replace an outside GFCI power outlet and cover. There were two things that I was not satisfied with. The first was that they did not caulk around the outlet box. The second thing was that the enclosure they gave me was the most basic and inexpensive one that you can get at Home Depot. It didn’t open right, and was flimsy as well. This repair was not cheap. But I knew if it was a good company, they would make it right, and that they did. They took care of it the first thing the next morning and gave me a much better enclosure. Honestly, those things seem minor but when you’re dealing with electricity, it has to be right. The not caulking around the outlet oversight was a bit surprising to me because that’s very important.. I understand these things happen and they did make it right. The box enclosure being in my opinion sub-par was a disappointment. Yes, it may have served the purpose well enough but it was a cheap piece of junk that cost them like $8. But when I look at the enclosure, the finished piece if you will, it represents the quality of the job and the company as a whole. This repair was surprisingly expensive.. I don’t use electricians much at all so I don’t know how competitive their pricing is. But I am sure there was a decent amount of profit built in. I don’t understand why a company would want to skimp on that part (the enclosure) as it’s what people see and use when they need to use the outlet. Maybe they think people don’t notice or care but I do. That said I’d still give them a shot. Just make sure you are satisfied with the repair, no matter who you hire. These guys ultimately did right by us.

    First, let me start by saying I had at least 6 contractors bid the job. Mr. Electric was not the lowest bid. They were the most professional, knowledgeable and very fair on pricing. Eric, the owner was extremely knowledgeable, trustworthy and kept to the time schedule, something hard to find in any contractor. Keiv and Donovan, the gentlemen that installed my panel and two drops were professional, knowledgeable courteous and left the work area spotless. Even the city inspector commented on the quality of their work and attention to detail. I live in Temple Terrace, which is known for very strict inspectors and for them to give Kiev and Donovans work a compliment, which they did, is a real feather in their hat! I highly recommend this company for their fairness, reliability and skill sets.

    Mr. Electric ran approximately 500 ft of cat 6 cable, connecting 6 of our commercial buildings to each other. They were very affordable for the fantastic quality of work they produced.     Amazing company! John did such a great job on our 3 chandeliers. From our first contact with Mr. Electrics answering service they have been very professional to work with. They sent reminder emails and texts with your electricians picture so you knew who was coming into your home. Scheduling was super easy and fast.     Mr. Electric was the only company that made an immediate appointment with us to come out and take care of our electrical issues after we were flooded out by Hurricane HELLene, the two other companies that we contacted said that they would put us on a priority list, but could not give us any idea about when they could get out to us and never got back in touch. Fortunately for us, Mr. Electric sent out a WONDERFUL technician to get us up and running. Skylar came out to deal with our electrical issues so that we could get our power restored. He was incredibly courteous and professional, just an excellent technician. He had to replace all of our outlets, including the dryer and range outlets and also checked out our circuit breaker box. I can not recommend him highly enough, I wish that he had had more business cards because I would be happy to pass them out to all of my neighbors, I was that impressed with the job he did. As it is, I have recommended Mr. Electric to my neighbors most highly. Because of the excellent quality of the job Skylar did, we passed our inspection with Pasco County and were able to have our electricity restored by Duke Energy that same day. I cant praise Skylar highly enough, after he got our electrical issues resolved, he even helped me close the windows and load a heavy object into my car. Mr. Electric is a topnotch company. Everyone that I have dealt with has been patient and kind, especially Skylar. I am VERY grateful for all of the service that we have received from Mr. Electric and, once again, 5 stars for Skylar!

    A brief update to my earlier review. I had Steven C. out today (June 2023) to do some troubleshooting and put in an exterior outlet. He was great. Super professional, really knowledgable, personable, and did a great job. Thumbs up - again!-----------------------------------------------------------A big thumbs up to Keiv and Mills.They came by the house today to address a significant issue we were having with the wiring in a house we just moved into and do some outlet and fan installations. They did an overall safety check, estimated several fixes (including the troubleshooting), and did the work immediately.I found Mr. Electrics estimate to be fair (and Ive gotten several) estimates), Keiv and Mills super professional and personable, and am really pleased to have wiring that works. 😊As an aside, it was great hearing them work together to track down the issues affecting the bad circuit.     My kitchen lights flickered off and then my pantry and laundry room lights were on but dim, no matter what. I set up an appointment and then Monday morning I was given a time frame of when theyd arrive, they were able to resolve the issue quickly and informed me of the situation.     One wall in my house didn’t have any power and it turns out it was because I had one outlet that was rusted from moisture coming from the exterior wall, one that was melted and one that was cracked. They came in, found the problem, switched out the outlets and double checked the other outlets in my house. One additional outlet failed so they fixed that too.Everything was done in a matter of about an hour. They double checked my smoke detectors too and are going to send me an estimate to update those since they are about 10 years old and add a surgical panel to my circuit breaker so that my house is up to date electrical wise, especially with hurricane season here.They were professional, gave great customer service and I now have power back in that wall! Will definitely be using their services again!

    I have to say it is hard to find quality work these days until I called Mr electric. I had a few projects that needed done and Mr Electric was first the only one to respond to giving an estimate. Two other companies didnt show . mike the tech was straightforward and the estimates where fair. He explained and even gave options. The day he arrived it was raining due to the tropical storm eta..we also had a plumber here at the same time. So they had to coordinate together based on the one particular project I had going on. Mike and his partner worked all day in the rain till his office pulled them in due to safety reasons. He really wanted to finish but was unable due to weather. Came back next day and In spite of some obstacles because of the type of project he worked a full day and finished. The whole time kept us informed . his personality was awesome and his partner too. He came back the next week for another smaller project which in some ways had few obstacles but he came through again...today there was another small hiccup and I called and they sent someone right away and it was rectified. I cannot say enough about Mr. Electric...except thanks and you will have repeat business from us ...and I will tell everyone...
