Had a breaker blow out- and needed help asap. Called Deans Electric (have been using them for awhile now). I considered this an emergency since I had no power. Called them up at 9am on a Monday, explained my situation and had Dean the owner show up 2 hours later to replace the breaker (I work from home, and needed power restored). They truly do a wonderful job. Thank you again (and to Dana too, who is so friendly on the phone). Great service, great price!

Great experience with Deans electric. The technicians helped me troubleshoot a wiring issue with a new security install. We figured it out, I learned a lot about tapping electrical sources, and my system was installed safely and beautifully! No exterior wiring exposed outside. Great work!!

I am SO impressed with Deans! I called late Fri evening and recieved call back immediately. The very nice and helpful lady on phone (sorry didnt get her name) was trying to help on phone pinpoint problem then even called the techs that were all out and was able to have Zack stop by house on way back from his call. He was great! Nice, professional and found the issue and fixed right away. We were so thankful we found this great company. Also very happy with pricing. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!

Amazing company! I called Deans electric based on a recommendation and just amazing. I had an electrical nightmare that I needed corrected for my home insurance coverage. Dean was able to squeeze me in and evaluate the issue and help me fix it in my tight timeline. He was nothing but kind and professional, they gave me a reasonable quote and provided me with the documentation that I needed. I can only say good things.

Sean from Dean’s electric installed two fans on our new front porch, added outlets, switches, and a light in our cupola. He arrived on time, was kind and courteous. Sean worked very hot on one of the hottest days of the year. When he was done he nicely cleaned up all of the work areas. We always call Dean’s electric whenever we need an electrician. He’s the favorite electrician in our neighborhood.

I had issues with a ceiling fan and could smell the wires burning. I immediately called Deans electrical service because of the great work they have done for me in the past. They sent someone out even though it was New Years Eve. Dustin came out and quickly identified the issue. I highly recommend Deans electrical service for any electrical concern. I will use them again!

I feel I need to explain my experience with Dean. I called his company to quote a job. I have some knowledge of electricity and felt some wiring was incorrectly done and wanted to correct it. Dean took the time to explain to me that due to the homes age the wiring was correct and that I didnt need to change the current setup. He said he would change it if I so wished but it was not necessary and proceeded to give me an estimate. Basically he talk himself out of a job but gained my respect. If I have a job in the future I will definitely use his services.

I must admit, being in the world of real estate, I was afraid of using an electrician when my seller needed work. One person came from a big company who advertises all over the net, to meet me and I felt so taken advantage of. He was a fast talker.....talk about price gouge to the tune of $8,000 was quoted! How do they sleep at night? So I called Deans and from the start, I felt comfortable and really felt that honesty would prevail for my seller and it did. Final price was under $400- The other company quoted things I didnt come close to needing!So hard to trust and now I have found my electrician, a com[any with morals and values! I am so grateful to have made the extra call and THANK YOU to Dean and his staff. A company and its employees where sleeping at night must be easy!

Dean’s Electric took awesome care of us with our under cabinet lighting, our landscape lighting, adding recess cans and they helped us hang some outdoor fans! They turned our dully-lit living and kitchen area into bright and beautiful focal points of our home. I totally trusted the crew with the can layout and I could not be happier. The landscape lighting made such a huge difference too. They are the best priced in Tampa/surrounding areas and are the real deal. I used Dean’s Electric about 1 year ago for some work at my home involving installing a 30amp line for our RV. This may sound like a simple job but honestly it was a bit tricky. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Dean and Dave as they both personally saw this job through. I honestly couldn’t have expected a better, faster result. Absolute Aces right there and clearly honest people. Now, why did I wait 1 year to post a review? One reason honestly, I was reading all these reviews tonight because I was thinking about how they are doing through this Covid pandemic. Honestly just thinking of them because they ARE a great local business, then I come across this one woman’s 1 Star review, bashing this company????. I’m relatively new to the Tampa region but am no stranger to patronizing “mom and pop” businesses. I humbly admit I’m pretty good at finding and picking the winners!! I sleep pretty good anytime I’ve recommended Dean’s. I also wanted to point out Dean’s very professional response to that customer. THAT’S who you’d be dealing with! Dustin did an amazing job, and our new lights and disposal plug looks amazing and works perfectly. Our 3 year old was very interested in what he was doing, and he took the time to interact with him and show him a few (safe) things. Highly professional, would definitely recommend, and we will be using them for more work in the future.

Fantastic service! Just had some old fluorescent tubes removed from ceiling and replaced with can lights. CJ, the gentleman who did the service, was efficient, professional, and very clean. He even used a blanket under his ladder to collect drywall dust and protect the floors from the feet of the ladder. The work was done promptly and professionally. At the end, CJ gave a recommendation about installing some lights under the kitchen counters (very good idea) but wasnt pushy about selling this small project. I would definitely use this company again if needed.

Deans Electric has completed numerous jobs for us on our 1980s fixer upper. They have swapped out a variety of lighting fixtures for us as well as swapping out old tan-colored plastic electric sockets and toggle switches to new white ones. They also ran new wiring for lighting fixtures where there were none before and installed new under-cabinet lighting after our kitchen renovation was completed. Every one of their electricians has been professional, knowledgeable, and really helpful in explaining our options. They are now the first and the only electricians we call when we need electrical work on our house.

Breaker to oven not working. Called Deans and they sent an electrician to diagnose the problem. Found that the hookup to a power outage box installed by Generac was causing the problem. Rerouted wires and oven now works! Way cheaper than buying and installing a new oven!

Used Jaz with Deans Electrical Service for two small jobs recently and was very impressed with his efficient service. After troubleshooting a problem, he replaced a faulty light switch and a faulty outlet in another room and installed two exterior outlets (one was a GFI outlet). He clearly explained what he was doing and why. Price seemed reasonable. Would definitely use him and his company again.

Had an emergency at Moms house, tree branch fell over the power lines and caused smoke and havoc inside. TECO quickly disconnected the power and recommended Deans Electric to make repairs to the pipe and meter box. Called Deans but they were so busy they had no one available so Dean himself showed up! This is a guy who is a real Master at his craft. He quickly made repairs so TECO could come back and set up the power lines. Power was restored and his bill was very reasonable. I highly recommend Deans Electric for any and all electrical work.

I was having some power issues and was unsure if it was TECO or a problem that would require an electrician. I called Deans Electric and they asked good questions on their end of the issue that led them to believe it probably is an issue with TECO. I called up TECO afterwards and sure enough it ended up being something TECO is taking care of.Although I didnt have Deans Electrical come do work at my home, I can vouch for their honesty and integrity. I had called two other electricians before this, and Deans Electrical was the one able to give me solid information and point me in the right direction. I will definitely use them in the future and would recommend anyone else do the same.
