Michael is the owner of Lightning Bay Electric and provides unbelievable and AMAZING service. Not only is he knowledgeable, but goes out of his way to be helpful. We lost power during Hurricane Milton for 7 days and when power was restored we had surges everywhere through our home. It was scary. We must have talked 5 times on the phone about my issues while he was driving all over Tampa Bay responding to calls like mine. He was able to diagnose and troubleshoot all of our issues and didn’t leave our home until 8:15pm. Like most other contractors in our area, Lightning Bay Electric is extremely busy, but I never felt rushed or unattended.If you need a responsive, knowledgeable, professional electrician that also provides unmatched customer service, then call Micheal at Lightning Bay Electric. You won’t regret it.Hands down the best electrical service I’ve received in the last 20 years. Seriously.

Mike and his team are AMAZING!! They came out three days after Helene and within a few hours had replaced all of my garage outlets and electric charger that were damaged by four feet of water from Hurricane Helene. He is extremely trustworthy and reasonably priced. He could have easily gouged us but they went above and beyond to support us and many of our neighbors in this time of need. I would highly recommend them!!

Two electricians from Lightning Bay Electric arrived on time and helped move a junction box so it would be centered over our dining room table. They double checked their measurements and asked me additional questions, covered up the space and got to work. They did a great job getting it up and even cleaned up any mess and debris! Now I have a beautiful light fixture where it should be :) also to mention great price for the project, will use them again!

Mike Tracey is extremely competent and old school in his sense of duty to serve his customers, and to take pride of ownership in what he does. He bailed us out of a very uncomfortable situation where we had a Fake General Contractor basically screw up all the electronics in a home wed just moved into a few days beforeHe worked tirelessly till 9:30 at night to solve the problems correctly - and he was leaving for vacation the next morning. This is simply unheard of nowadays. Mike has also worked for a few of my wifes clients (she is a realtor) and done a stellar job with them, where others had no clue how to fix the problemI wouldnt hesitate to recommend or refer Mike to anyone who needs electrical help. Hes awesome, bright, and well-versed in all aspects of his craft

Lightning Bay Electric was included as part of the team for our recent home upgrades/remodel. All work was completed exceptionally. We received initial estimates easily updated as the effort progressed through the process. They gladly worked any required changes we encountered. As the remodel was completed we found the existing equipment needed upgrades, including a new home electric panel, expertly completed as add-ons. An additional note, we even had them update a boat lift that had remained unused for nearly a decade. You can’t do better.

We had some damage from last years hurricane, the main line coming into our house had been pinched. Michael and his team diagnosed it quickly and worked in conjunction with TECO to get the power turned off, the line safely replaced and the power turned back on with minimal interruption. They made our home safe again and were incredibly easy to work with and responsive. As a business owner customer service is paramount. I highly recommend them.

Mike with Lightening Bay Electric was amazing. He saw us the day we requested, walked us through our options, and guided us to the solutions we needed. Our shed caught fire during the holiday season. Mike gave us a fair quote and completed the job the day he stated we would. The invoice and quote stated everything he was to complete.I have now found my electrician for my rental property.Very professional and very fair. I received three other quotes that were more expensive and the work wasn’t as extensive.Thanks Mike.
