    Im updating a previous review for Hawkins. Im giving a 4 star review because of the time frame of my repair (almost 6 months to be completed). Some of the delays were from the manufacturer, but some were on Hawkins.In the end, they resolved the situation and I was happy with how Joe, the manager, took ownership in the end.

    Austin Turby was the most proficient and thorough service rep I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.He spent more than 2.5 hours evaluating my pool heater, equipment, spa and pool to ensure everything was in working order.He identified multiple issues and was even able to fix them while performing his diagnostic service.I wish other companies treated their customers in the same fashion.My inground spa is working perfectly again and just in time for the cool Jan and February nights!I give him and Hawkins the highest possible 5 STAR ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating!

    Arthur from Hawkins was a great service provider. Arthur Took time explaining things to me and was detailed. Very happy with level of service and quick response with appointment made quickly. They even bumped up my appointment when they had a cancellation. Arthur made sure everything worked easily with paired phone (as controller of pool heater/filter pump) as well before leaving. I signed up for their pool maintenance contract as well as i was impressed with level of service but not pressured in any way at the same time to sign up for that additional maintenance program which I really appreciated. (Nothing worse than pushy salesman in my opinion). They replaced the top lid to my pump (previous one was cracked and losing prime), removed old heater/ installed new heater, and replaced air relief valve on filter. If your filter or heater on your pool needs maintenance don’t hesitate to call Hawkins and request Arthur, you won’t regret it. Pictures show the old vs new heater.

    Austin showed up the day after Christmas! He was punctual, polite, extremely knowledgeable & polite. We had an issue with our gas heater for the pool not working.     Andrew was our technician today and had to replace our pool pump and motor with a digital one and he was awesome when explaining how it worked! Andrew was very patient and professional. More importantly, he explained it to it in a way that we would be able to understand. Andrew is an asset to the Hawkins Service Company and made our experience a great one!     Jacob and his partner were warm and friendly. They greeted me professionally and got to work right away. Jacob was very knowledgeable and guided his apprentice as needed with each step.     8/1/24Hawkins Service Management:I am pleased to forward this recommendation for the service provided over the last three days by your technicians. Arthur did an outstanding job of selling me on the Aqua Link System for my pool. After I made the decision to go with the system Arthur and Randal, and one other technician came back just two days later and installed the unit in record time, about three hours. After that Arthur sat with me and patiently took me through the programming of my phone and trained me on its use, as well as the use of the handheld remote unit.     A big thank you and five stars to Matt, Rudy, and Luis for all the work they did for us! We are so impressed! They were here all day with smiles on their faces. They did SO MUCH! They added switches (so I can turn off my overhead shower light and sink lights separately) and added an outlet to my bathroom and it ended up being a much bigger job than expected! It looks and works perfectly. They added another outlet to my parents bathroom downstairs. They figured out a way to put a ring camera and lights on top of our pool cage so we can now see our backyard at night and safely let our dog out. And they installed a plug and are going to mount a TV out back on our lanai! We could not be happier with the work they did. Luis, Matt, and Rudy are all very kind and even helped socialize our puppy by giving her treats and love when we asked! You will absolutely get your money’s worth when working with Hawkins!     I used Hawkins service company to install a new motor and it works great. Super professional and friendly people, they take their business seriously.Jeff just came out to fix a broken O-ring, took him almost no time at all to identify the problem and fix it for free. It’s nice to have peace of mind that I can trust my pool will always run well! I should also add Jeff was very kind to explain how a lot of my pump works too!

    The Best!!!! Where can I start? This company has the best employees and knowledge of what they do I had an interlock kit system installed in my home and the technician was very professional and explained how it worked. The technician was very qualified in how it worked. I highly recommend this company for your air-conditioning needs pool systems and electrical problems.

    We are so lucky that Hawkins is the authorized service company for our Pentair pool pump warranty. Darius not only installed the repaired pump, but he also did a bigger job, which was replacing an outdated control panel and bringing the whole system up to code. He did a fantastic job, working alone, and saved us money by signing us up for the Hawkins pool protection program. The expertise and efficiency were impressive beyond expectations. I would hire Hawkins for anything electric or mechanical. They have amazing staff and resources.

    Two other pool companies could not get our pool pump running, including the company that installed it. We were told by one local company we needed a new electronic panel to the tune of $2K, another company told us that our new pump was ‘fried’, meanwhile Hawkins got it fixed within a half hour and under $100. This company was extremely competent unlike two other popular local pool service companies. We have since had a light replaced as well, and are very pleased.

    We have been using Hawkins Service Company for over 10 years and I have always counted on them to keep our air conditioning running. The few issues we have had they are always prompt on getting to us and taking care of the issue. We moved into a new home last year which had an older air conditioner unit. Our Technician Mark Pilcher on his maintenance visit this week alerted us to some issues with our system that we already knew about it and we knew it was time to get a new system. He showed us different models of air conditioners and explained the differences in a way we understood. We decided upon a Daikin variable speed heat pump with a high seer rating. This morning was the installation date and Darius and Isaiah were our installers. They arrived on time, got to work quickly and within 4 hours it was installed. We appreciated how they cleaned up after they were done, and you would never know that we just had a complete air conditions system installed. I would highly recommend the company for all your air conditioning needs and service. We are looking forward to our lower power bills this summer. Our house has cooled back down and we are loving it!

    Team Ryan and Rachel are excellent! I had an intermittent issue with my pool light and it was difficult to pinpoint. They came out multiple times until it was fixed. Very communicative and friendly service. If you have any pool issues please use them . They really do care that the job is done right which is rare these days.

    The men arrived promptly at 8:30am and checked the panel for my water heater. They were so thorough and polite. One even swept my floor after they were done. I never had repairmen do that! They went above and beyond what I thought they would do. I will definitely be calling Hawkins Plumbing when I need them in the future.     We can’t say enough good things about the service we received from Hawkins Service Co. We have used them several times for issues with our pool. When our heat pump did not work we gave them a call, Travis came out the next morning and checked everything with our heat pump/AC. He took his time explaining everything to us and after talking with him we decided to go with a new system. The next morning Isaiah and Darius came to install the new system. Both gentlemen were polite, explained what they were doing, and worked hard to get the system installed in a timely manner. We have great appreciation for Hawkins Service Company especially Travis, Isaiah, and Darius.

    We had Nathan come out to look at our pool. He did an amazing job going over all the issues he notices and the steps he was taking to correct the problem. Even with him unable to fully fix the problem, due to other unknown issues the stemmed from the main problem, he assured us that he would get the ticket updated and work to correct our problems as quickly as possible. He was extremely friendly, knowledge and through. Im hoping we work with him more often on service calls.

    Kris with a K and the pool service team get an A++. Prompt ahead of time arrival. Immediate assessment, noticed the serial number and date and issued warranty replacement on one piece of equipment. Reviewed needs ahead of time so they had all the parts needed on the truck. Then assessing heater adjusted valves and checked electrical panel and got it working at no charge. Great customer service, great attitude highly recommended.     We had to have a light in our spa replaced today and Ryan and Rae (Rachel) were amazing. Outstanding customer service and professionalism. They made the unpleasantness of paying a considerable amount to replace one light, less painful.     Today Arthur, Juan & Kemuel came out and relocated our pool pump, filter and blower on to our new pad. They did a great did and installed everything as we requested.Also, Darius and his partner (my apologies, he was so busy that I did not get a chance to catch his name) also came out this morning and fixed our AC copper line and thermostat line and installed a new line set cover.We also signed up for the Service Plans to help us keep our equipment in great shape.Thank you Hawkins Service and team members for the great experience.

    Right from the start Brian seemed to ask the right questions and get down to problem solving. Aside from him having to wait 40min for Pentair customer service to pick up I would say he could have completed the job in under 15min.     Every visit from Hawkins is professional, courteous, and provides results. This is the first time Nathan has been out and we were not disappointed.He immediately found and fixed the problem with our new pool pump and updated the automation system to make everything run smoothly. He also educated me on better settings for the system and a couple of updates that we might need/want to make in the future.The only hiccup, and the reason why I didnt give them 5 stars, is that we had a problem with getting on their schedule and getting a return call (I think thats because we are so far from them and they might not service our area any longer).Once I called back (3 weeks later) and pointed out the delay, they scheduled our job right away.Overall, we were very pleased with the service from Hawkins and definitely pleased with Nathans handling of our issue.UPDATE:Made the mistake of having someone else put the pool pump in for me when this one quit.I ended up having Hawkins come out and make it work because there was something in the main board that had to be adjusted.Lesson: Thats often the difference between getting a professional and a handyman to do things!

    Hawkins Service Company was referred by the manufacturer of my pool equipment. I watched them work and took faith in not only their work, but honesty.     Had issue with pool filter pump replaced free of charge covered under warranty.Also Nathan replaced salt cell. Called next day and was having issues with salt cell reading accurate.     Rudy and Jose were excellent working on my boat lift. The lift wasnt working and after I explained the problem they jumped right in and started running some tests. After a few tests they had problem #1 pegged and made a speedy repair. They they quickly diagnosed problem two and will order the part to complete the repair. I cant recommend these two highly enough. They were kind, courteous, listened closely, and taught me their knowledge to best help them make the repair next time.     Arthur did a fantastic job, found the issues quick and fixed them. He verified Intellichlor working condition, fixed the connection from the pump and also fixed issue with intelliconnect. Arthur explained the problem in detail and was very knowledgeable with the whole set up. Not many know the inter-connections between pump intellichlor and heater with intelliconnect. Don’t go to pinch and penny or others with these issues, they lack the expertise to resolve. Call Hawkins. Highly recommend, good job Arthur.

    They were excellent with communication, called the day before to remind me, called the day of 30 mins out, removed the dead heater, installed the new one, tested everything and called to let me know it was done. When getting other quotes, keep in mind these guys do it all. Some quotes I got were close to the same but didnt include disconnecting/reconnecting/testing the gas line. They also scheduled 2 months faster than other quotes, had everything in stock - Very friendly too!

    Darius, Jacob and Kelsie did an amazing job with my very difficult/complex pool renovation. They stayed for several hours longer than was originally planned, working late into the evening (on a Friday night) to make sure everything was perfect so that my kids could use the pool that weekend.     I cant say enough good things about this company. We have only lived in Florida for a little over a year now. It was important that we find reputable companies to assist with all things that come with home ownership. Hawkins pricing is competitve and they are always quick to respond. We had Austin come out to replace our swimming pool heater. He was extremely professional, polite and wonderful to work with. Hawkins do whatever it takes to keep this fella! He is amazing.     Im not one to review a company for just doing its job. However, Im happy to write a review when I encounter a company that goes above and beyond.I had a problem with a Jandy salt cell for my pool that stopped working. Hawkins agreed it would be covered under warranty, but when the technician came out, he saw that it was cracked (by me) and told me damage is not covered under warranty. I was not willing to spend the $1k to replace the part. I figured I was done with Hawkins and Id try and find the part at a lower cost myself.The next day I received a call from Joe (manager). It turns out Arthur (technician who came to my house) explained the situation to Joe, and Joe worked with Jandy to ensure the part would be covered under warranty. Arthur came back a couple days later and replaced it under warranty. Thats what I call excellent customer service by both Joe and Arthur.Beyond the original issue, Arthur also gave me great advice about pool maintenance. He also checked out a problem were having with some slate around our pool. He spoke with folks at Hawkins and he gave me suggestions on how to repair. He also gave me the contact info of someone if I want to replace the slate.Hawkins employees listen to their customers and do everything to solve problems, and I enthusiastically recommend them.

    Ed, from Hawkins pool division, arrived on time and gave me very helpful operating instructions about my newly install Pentair pump and how to set up the Pentair app on my phone.     UPDATE: Once again I received excellent service from Hawkins. I purchased a home and need my Tesla charger moved to my new home. Rodolfo was prompt, communicated everything he was doing every step of way and now my Tesla charger is in my new home!!! Thank you Hawkins for another wonderful service!!!My electric bill was $800 a month and so I had Hawkins send someone out to inspect my AC unit. Mark was on time, very knowledgeable, and very professional. My air is already running cooler! I will always use Hawkins.

    Ryan and Rae fixed a pool light that was broken. They also noticed and diagnosed another pool light that was going bad. They replaced that light as well. Very professional, polite, and organized. Highly recommend. Lights were under warranty even though pool is almost two years old. No charge.

    Hawkins Service Company is truly excellent service! We have used this company for years to service, repair, and replace our salt pool equipment. Recently we replaced our entire AC system with a top end Daikin variable speed heat pump and air handler. It is the quietest system we have ever known. The installation was completed in a day, a scorching Florida heat day! We started having some issues with accuracy of the wifi thermostat. Hawkins has sent service reps immediately , same day, to inspect and recalibrate the thermostat. On the third call, they replaced the thermostat with a different version. ALL technicians have been thorough, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. This newer, less complex thermostat has been keeping accurate temperatures and humidity ranges. My most important compliment is that even though issues arise, Hawkins answers with action! They truly want to make their service, their name. Thank you!

    I give 5 stars to Jacob. He was very professional and answered my questions to my satisfaction along with suggestions for future needs. However, I was disappointed in scheduling. My appt was made over a month ago and I never received any updates or status reports. I called the day before and was told someone would be there between 8-10am. At 10am, while waiting at home, I called to see what was happening and that it was now rescheduled for a 3-5pm window. I received a text from Jacob at 11:30 that he was on his way and a call from the office @ 12:20 that Jacob was at my house. Unfortunately, I wasnt expecting him till 3p and was not at home. I did race home and was able to meet Jacob. I still think the company and Jacob is great but disappointed in the lack of communication from the office.

    Replaced my old pool heater. Examined our old unit, told us what we needed and gave us a great price. Installed in about four hours gave us instructions how to use it all of the manufacturers warranty and paperwork. All done by Brian Baker. He knows it all is very pleasant to work with.     We were having an issue with our spa/pool heater. I called Hawkins Services since they are my go to contractor for all my pool equipment needs. I trust Hawkins because I know they will do the job right the first time. The technicians are both knowledgeable and professional, especially Kris Stone who troubleshot the heater problem, replaced a faulty part and got the heater working properly again.     I’ve worked with Hawkins on numerous occasions both for my pool equipment and other various electrical needs. On my most recent interaction they completely exceeded my expectations. After Hurricane Helene I needed all new pool equipment. From the supervisor Joe on down, everyone made sure to get to us in a timely and professional manner. I had the opportunity to meet with Darius on Monday (just a few days after the storm), and he was excellent. Today he returned with my new equipment and brought along another technician named Jailene. They did an outstanding job and made an unfortunate situation somehow a little better. Both went above and beyond, worked for many hours (often in a heavy rain), and even drove to another colleague 10 miles away to get additional equipment I ended up needing. Well done Darius and Jailene! You represent Hawkins very well. And a final special thanks to Joe for helping make this happen so quickly. Hawkins is #1 for a reason!!!

    I have been looking for a experienced company like Hawkin for a few months and I finally found it!!! Jacob and Nicholas did an amazing job fixing my long-term problematic pool that could not be fixed by other pool companies. These two are patient, experienced, and offer great service. Nick got rid of the timers that always switched my heating spa mode to pool mode and finally stopped the spa being switched to pool mode and stopped pumping cold water in the heating spa. Jacob replaced the de filter that had holes in it and was not functioning. These two issues were never discovered by the other pool companies. Hands down the best company that solves hardware issues and 10x10 would recommend!!

    March 2023 I had Hawkins come out and add a swimming pool heater. The installation was smooth with Carlos, Will, Scott and Brian working so well together. They patiently answered all of my questions and did a thorough clean up. This unit is quiet and efficient, and I look forward to pooltime year round!Matt and the team resolved several issues with my pool including installing my new way cool LED pool light! The communication was timely, calls were returned, the guys who came out were on time and texted updates about their arrival time along with being courteous, careful and cleaning up. They are more than just pools and I would suggest giving them a call. When Chris came out for the quote he looked at all my pool stuff and told me what I would be looking at in the future if things needed to be replaced so I could be prepared. The 2 different teams that came out were very informative and patient with my questions. I also had coping and tile regrouted which I added before and after pictures. It looks fabulous!Had my first maintenance check with Bryan. He was polite, efficient, and answered all my crazy questions!

    Had a nagging issue with air bubbles in my pool for over a year. Had Pinch-A-Penny come out and take a look but the fixes were always temporary.Found Hawkins Service Company on the web and they specifically mentioned being able to fix these issues. Scheduling was super easy and got a text the night before and again about an hour before the tech, Nicholas Becker arrived. He went right to work and texted me he was out back taking a look.Much of my pool equipment had shifted and was on an uneven surface. Rather than just patch up the leak, Nick spent more than an hour leveling out things with soil and then redoing the pump intake with a union joint.I was super happy with the result. I dont have the disaster that was the before picture, but appreciate the result!

    We just had a heat pump installed to heat our pool. The installer, Randall was awesome. Great craftmanship, hard worker and cleaned up the entire job site like nobody was there. I would highly recommend to have Randall do the work for any job you have. He knows his stuff, answers your questions and explains everything in detail.The next day, Don came out and did a real professional job straightening out some fins that were bent on the unit. He was on time and explained everything to me. He made the unit look like it just came out of the factory.Great experience and Don is a great guy!

Our A.C. went down during Hurricane Debby and we were so concerned with the heat&humidity but,Hawkins was able to send a tech out (Gio) the same day that we were affected by the storm!     Mike and Tim came out to repair my pool solar, which was leaking. Mike got onto the roof, found the problem caused by a broken PVC pipe and made the repairs. They finished the job in under 45 minutes. Both guys were professional. I would definitely recommend this company. They are my “go-to” when I have a problem with my pool equipment, too. The scheduling staff is always very friendly and helpful.

    I had a service appt today for pool repair with Jeff and Mike today and they were absolutely awesome! Their communication was excellent throughout the day and they were extremely responsive. Jeff and Mike were very thorough and were able to quickly diagnose and fix my pool’s salt cell back to normal working order. They were very knowledgeable and honest and offered their best advice on how to fix the issue. They also took their time to answer all my questions and concerns.     We were doing a small bathroom renovation and I decided I wanted to change the lighting. Also I wanted another outlet installed. Once the demo was done, I called Hawkins and Carlos and Travis came out the next day! I was surprised I could get an appointment so quickly. They listened to what I wanted and gave me a quote. We scheduled the work for two days later. When Carlos and Travis returned I had changed my mind on the lighting. Now I wanted two can lights. One over the bathroom and one over the shower. No problem! They had the can lights in the truck and took care of the job. While they were working I had to leave so they text me updates and photos. It was very professional and well done! I would call Hawkins again and ask for Carlos and Travis.

    Andrew and Austin came by to install actuators on our pool pump, as well as a software interface so that our phones could control our pool temperature. These guys showed up on time, and after MANY visits from other pool professionals, finally was able to finish the job and get everything working as needed. They were through, polite, and had answers to all my questions and concerns, being a new pool owner. Signed up for their yearly service agreement and am thrilled they will be keeping an eye on things from here on out. Parts were a bit pricey, but admittedly, im not familiar with the market.     I had a problem with my DE filter and called Hawkins; the lady that answered the phone was very friendly and quickly open a report for me. Hawkins sent Arthur/Hawkins Maintenance tech to inspect and repair it. Arthur was professional, friendly, and listen to me concerning my pool trouble. Arthur was able to quickly assess the problem and fix it. He maintained a clean work area and also provided tips on maintaining the pool and answered my questions on the equipment. I will definitely ask Hawkins to assign Arthur to be my pool maintenance tech. Arthur is an asset to Hawkins. I recommend Hawkins Service Company and highly recommend Arthur.     Chad and Chance were above and beyond my expectations! I had a new rooftop package unit installed and had some subsequent minor issues.     After contacting Hawkins, to have an estimate for pool equipment (heater, filter, etc) Darius and Lewis came to provide an estimate for the specified work. Darius was thorough in his estimate providing various options. He handed me a very detailed estimate. Darius then took the time with patience to answer all my questions and work with me to find the best solution. Each time  a new write up of the work to be performed and required (I wanted to have everything in writing) and a copy was emailed immediately. Darius was on time, effective and efficient in working with his team, which included himself, Lewis and Austin. All 3 gentlemen were knowledgeable in their line and able to handle all that they encountered. Another team of 4 was required for the electrical aspect, they were on time, worked well with Darius, Lewis & Austin to complete all work. This was an all day project. At the end, everything was cleaned up (looking better than before they started) and disposed of by the three. Darius sat with me walked me through the financing and assisting in setting everything up. Then he also assisted and walked me through how to use the mobile app and to program all components. I couldnt be happier with the team I was introduced to and the outcome of the work performed.Had Michael N come out to fix an electrical outlet that wasnt seen until after work completed. He was honest, upfront, with great communication the entire time. Thank you!

    The service rep from Hawkins service showed up on time. His name is Eddie and he was a consummate professional. He analyzed the error in the system quickly and efficiently and once she was finished, he let me know of an additional protection that I could put on my system, which did and I’m glad that I put it on there. Austin showed up on time, did a thorough inspection, was knowledgeable on the equipment, and explained what needed done.
