Melvin gave me a 30 minute update for his arrival which was perfect. He was very personable. He continued to work on my clogged drain not just till it started to flow but he continued till he was personally satisfied with the job. This is something you dont see too often anymore. Shawn was awesome! Got me an appointment same day as I was flooded out five days earlier hand had a crew here pulling the walls out. Needed to remove the air handler and the freon needed to be captured before we could cut it loose. The tech, Davey got here within the hour and took care of it. Fast of Florida sent out a plumber, Melvin, on a Sunday late afternoon to take care of a clogged drain line, which was causing sewage to back up into the garden and bathrooms. It was not an easy fix, but Melvin stuck with it for over 3 hours and was able to fix the problem. Once corrected, he gave me a thorough run-down of the work done, including sending pictures and a video.

Assisted my neighbor when her 5 year old unit stopped cooling.The install company came out an discovered a leak in the high pressure line at the condenser unit. Bid for the job $2300.We felt that was a bit high, so had another company come out. Their bid was $1250 which we felt reasonable.They inserted a new segment of line, prepped for charging the gas and did the charge. But no luck! Unit would not cool and we were told needed a new compressor. This was late on a Friday with her indoor temperature 81 degrees. The compressor failing just didnt seem right to me. Plus 13-14 hundred dollars to replace the compressor.So, called Fast of Florida Saturday morning and Joe came to the rescue. He is very pleasant and personable with a smile. Appears to enjoy his work.The problem was not enough coolant was used after the repair. The unit would catch and compressor would shut down. Was this an honest mistake at the end of a long, hot day? I dont know.Joe diagnosed the problem immediately and her place is nice and cool as I type this. My neighbor and her good friend on the first floor purchased the maintenance contract which is reasonably priced.Thanks to both Joe and Fast

Tried numerous things myself and finally as usual the professionals have to come to the rescue. Thought it would be an easier cheaper thing to do just cleaning out plumbing system for clogs. Opted into that after meeting with the initial plumber for service. It just wasnt working. It needed a lot more attention especially as the pipes were showing to be quite brittle. They didnt charge me for that 4 hours or 3 hours of work or whatever it was initially and we applied that towards my replacement of plumbing. It did take a second visit which was fine because it was definitely a complicated problem. There was no extra surcharges or surprises and they just committed to coming back until they got my problem solved. They are the third plumbers Ive had out here in the past 8 years for different drain issues and the only one to finally solve it

I was very happy with the service I received from Junior. He was very polite, professional, & meticulous. I was not happy with the original fee I was quoted for him to go on my roof to use the snake. I have a top tier Complete Bundle package w/ HVAC that I pay nearly $1000 for which includes plumbing, electrical, refrigerator, oven/range, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, water heater, door seal & gaskets, circuit boards & touchpads. However, the fee was $825 for him to use the snake on the roof or use the cleanout. In the past years it was always included in my contract. So when he told me the cost I was taken back. I have been with FAST since they opened as a family business around 25 years ago. I know prices have gone up but that was outrageous. My annual contract for the past 3 years has been $699 so it was bad enough it jumped to $1000. Then having him tell me $825 for something I never actually had to pay for was a bit much. In the end it all worked out because he decided to go a different route & the problem was solved. All I had to pay was a service fee of $89 which was fine.Thank you Junior for turning a bad experience into a good one!!I will definitely be requesting him in the future for my plumbing services (hopefully not in the too near future tho!!)
