    I have been a 15 year customer with Air Rescue. PLEASE don’t ever call on them. They are the worst A/C company that I should ever started with. 3 major water leaks that flooded my dinning room and ruined our area rug, China Cabinet and crown molding.Now how a very negative experience and very costly choice we made, has now turned into a very positive and very professional experience with Red Cap Plumbing.I would like to thank Bill Lamontagne Comfort Advisor for providing my wife and I with a pleather of A/C knowledge on what he suggested for our home with the proper new Ruud 5 ton condenser and air handler.The technicians Logan Foxworth and Lane Paul We’re exceptional. I could not ask for any two more qualified individuals than these two hard-working technicians for Red Cap. I highly recommend for any of your AC, electric, plumbing needs for your home or office.     So let me begin by saying I havent used this companies services as I am a tech myself. But while working at a clients house, one of their technicians pulled up next door to do a job. I left my tool bag in the rain unbeknownst to me while talking to my client. One of the red cap employees came over and let me know he moved my tool bag under cover from the rain. Though I havent used them, I can tell you they hire quality, genuine people. If youre considering them, take my experience with them as a representation of how they are as people. Good quality people. Good job guys. 👍

    We had a great experience with Red Cap from the Electrical serviceman Lance Brook to the plumber Ermion Arapi!! Such caring professionals!! I so appreciated that Red Cap took the time to cover my floors with protective material as to not scratch our floors or carpets. 5 stars for service but very expensive to replace hot water heater even with a discount 🫤 but we went with the best warranty

    First time using Red Cap and happy it was an excellent experience. Not pleasant needing an air conditioner when having record high temps in Florida but pleased with the outcome of our transaction.Excellent teamwork observed with Stephen and Keith, knowledgeable, caring business men that provided us time and consideration with up front costs, facts and details about the AC /Heating units available. They were able and willing to answer all our questions providing three options to fit our needs.We’ve done the research and have seven estimates, higher and lower cost, although certain we made our best choice today signing our contract with Red Cap / Home Depot. We appreciate the team sent to our home today and we look forward to many years ahead to enjoy our new unit. Remarkable to know everything is included in the price and ready to install.     I’ve had lots of issues with a grinder pump install at my rental property. The hurricanes and holidays are a tough time to get people out, but hands down RedCap has my business because Kyle is the man. He was able to review all notes on my account and help make decisions that your best friend would make. Honest, reliable work. 10/10 recommend!

    Update: Glad that they called back and addressed the issues. I truly appreciate for taking actions on customers concern promptly.I used them for an offer from Home Depot for AC tune up. After they left I found a piece of the parts left outside. Also they did not do tune up for one of the mini split saying they dont need tune up. May be they just want to finish up as they are not getting the full rate as this call was through Home Depot offer. Will never use them.

    The service man did an amazing thorough check of my AC system. And better yet, he was professional, friendly, and took the time to show me everything that needs to be addressed, making sure I understood any problems and what will be needed to handle them. I highly recommend Red Cap.UpDate - The work has now been completed. The installers did a wonderful job taking out my old AC unit and putting in the new. . Manny and his assistant were professional, friendly and courteous, and took great care to leave everything spotlessly clean. The unit is working well, and Manny explained everything about how to work it. Thanks very much for great service!

    I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. If you have a serious problem with them, you are not talking to the right people because they really do care about their customers and will make it right and do right by you. I say this after we got off to a very rough start and it took some time, but everything that was wrong with our new unit was completely fixed at no charge as part of the warranty and the guys were absolutely wonderful. When I had trouble and was told incorrect information (by accident), Paul stepped in and made everything right. It is my understanding a new unit comes with a 10 year warranty that covers parts and labor and then you have the option to purchase a maintenance plan for a low monthly fee that covers 2 visits per year for drain cleaning, safety check, etc. (roughly ~$96/each visit paid in ~16/month payments). THAT IS HONEST. THAT IS TRANSPARENT. I dare you to find another company that is as professional, quality, and honest in their industry. Its a needle in a haystack, like a car mechanic: if you find an honest, quality one you NEED to STICK WITH THEM for LIFE. Ive read the reviews here and I DARE anyone who wrote a negative one to contact the guys who are actually in charge about their problems because they will take great care of you to make everything right. Thank you guys! I plan to stick with you forever! ... Heres a little extra info: The first thing the guy said when they came to repair our old AC was Its upside down! Im amazed its worked so well for so long upside down the entire time! Whoever installed it should be congratulated because this is a real feat!” The guy who previously owned our house had bragged to me that he bought it new and installed it himself. Would you believe we had about FIVE different companies fix it since we moved in and not a single one said our realized it was upside down?!?!!! TRUE STORY!!!

    Brandon was great. He was helpful and provided multiple solutions to the issue I was having. He repaired a very important pipe and valve set in my garage that was the lifeblood of my plumbing system. He was done in under an hour and was great to work with. I highly recommend Red Cap and especially Brandon Spencer. Hes a cut above.

    Jamie was incredible from start to finish. He was able to squeeze me into his schedule and fix two different toilets that were having issues. He was really efficient with his work and finished in a timely manner. Plus the bathrooms were very clean after the work that he did. I would recommend Red Cap and especially Jamie if you have a plumbing issue in the future.

    We have had to use them more than once now. First our air conditioning went out and they came out the next day and replaced it. Then last week we had a leak in our bathroom. We called and someone came out that night and got it fixed. We have had great experiences with Red Cap and will continue to use them when we have the need. They are fast to respond, efficient, clean and affordable. Definitely recommend!

    I have used Red Cap for prior plumbing needs, so I didn’t hesitate to call them for this service. Jacob Griffin was the plumber who responded with Phillip, a new guy being trained. They were courteous, professional and didn’t waste any time. Jacob first reviewed the various service options with a quote for each. He explained the benefits of the more expensive options, but did not try to pressure sell me more than the option I chose. Jacob represented Red Cap positively and I will continue to look to them when needed again.

    My tech, Leo Rodriguez, did a wonderful job. He was absolutely professional and knowledgeable and explained what he did in detail. Red Cap, however, I would give zero stars to if I could. I originally scheduled them to come out in September to repair my furnace. They contacted me saying they couldnt make it, then rescheduled me in NOVEMBER. They didnt have the part in stock and said someone would be back out by the end of the week or maybe the next week. 2 weeks later I finally called them wondering where they were, and the office person said someone would contact me the next day. Nothing. More than 3 weeks later, they finally texted me and said the part came in and when could they come out. 3 months this all took. Thankfully, with winters in Florida a furnace not working isnt a disaster, but the lack of communication and follow through by office personnel is horrible. Thank goodness they have excellent field personnel like Leo!

    Always so nice and pleasant to work with. Very reliable. I dont feel like I am being bamboozled. They are honest and to the point. Not pushy. They might not always be the lowest price, but the quality is there. Sometimes you get what you pay for when searching for just the lowest price. As I have found out in the past with other companies, unfortunately. They are the ones to call if you want it done right. I recommend Red Cap Plumbing, Air, & Electric.

    Red Cap did all my HVAC, electric and plumbing. They were fantastic and got the job done fast. I want to really recognize David Fraser the HVAC engineer I worked with he was always responsive every time and very professional and got the job done. He stuck to it till the end and even after months when I needed help with the city he jumped right in. Thank you David and Thank you Red Cap. I would recommend this company. Hands down.

    Red Cap sent a technician to fix a leak caused by a faulty pipe installment by a previous technician. The technician that came out today was absolutely amazing. He was friendly, soft spoken, attentive to detail, fixed the leak and thoroughly tested the pipe to ensure that there was zero water coming out. Although experiencing a leak in your house is not a pleasant experience, Red Cap sent out a qualified technician that took care of the problem quickly and thoroughly. Thank you Zach!!The reason for the 4 Star rating has nothing to do with Zach and everything to do with the fact that the previous Red Cap technician’s negligence caused the leak and Red Cap did send Zach out to address the issue. Zach gets 5 Stars from me.

    We had an issue with the force of water and called the plunder from Red cap.The individual reviewed the situation and explained in clear terms what needs to be done. He showed where the problem was in less than 2 min.I was dreading the bill for an explanation only but he was very professional and said no charges. I was pleasantly surprised with that in this day and age.I had previously done some work with them and knew the quality of work and integrity was high for the company but they do understand that a two min explanation with no actual plumbing work done is not the same as a more detailed search of any issue.Kudos to both the engineer and the company.

    I just want to say thank you to the team at the Tampa Red Cap Plumbing. First to Keisha and the other woman who helped me initially schedule the appointment for sending someone out the same day on The Friday after the Thanksgiving holiday. I had a master bathroom toilet that was making gurgling noises and bubbling when the master shower was running, which had me very concerned. My Plumber was Brandon S. and I truly appreciate appreciated how he thoroughly explained my options and provided upfront pricing, which I felt was fair and reasonable for the amount of work. Brandon worked so hard to clear roof vent even after it was dark to make sure that I had functioning bathrooms and took away my worry and he did it all with a smile. I really thought this would have to wait for the weekend and I am beyond appreciative to get it done tonight!I was so happy with the work, but especially with the Red Cap team.     Service technician was very nice. I walked with him as he inspected all my toilets. He fully explained everything that was going on with my toilets. Inspected all my faucets to make sure nothing was leaking. He inspected my water heater. My 6 year warranty had expired so he recommended not flush because it may cause problems. He gave me estimates for new toilets explaining the warranty and the price would only be good for one month. I was very impressed with him and I will always request him if ever I have to call again.

    Our service rep was excellent and very polite. He removed the old filter, took the frame outside and washed and dried it, then put the new filter in....all in a few minutes. This is a special filter and it really did its job. I was very happy with the product and the service.

    I’m only giving 4 stars due to lack of communication and price. First of all, I want to say my technician Michael was great. He was very informative and kind. However, I was scheduled for service between 12 - 6 pm and he showed up at 6:45. I was waiting in my hot house for over 6 hours and they didn’t bother to call me to let me know he was going to be late. I understand that things happen, but I expect a little communication. This was not the technicians fault. The company is responsible for communicating with the customer, not the technician. These guys are also more expensive than other local companies. I got 3 quotes from 3 different highly rated companies and Red Cap was the most expensive by a significant amount. I’m sure they do an excellent job, but they couldn’t even come close to my lower quotes, so I decided to go with someone else.

    Our propane tank water heater gave out after over 10 years and we decided to go tankless. My neighbor said, he had a Navien system installed 10 years ago and his family was completely satisfied with that choice. I had 3 companies come out give a quote and 1 gave a quote over the phone, sight unseen. And although all were very professional and knowledgeable, Red Caps technician Kevin, stood out more.Sometimes you can detect genuine honesty and the love for a profession in a worker. I had that feeling after meeting Kevin. Kevin did the inspection and gave me a quote on the spot. All 4 quotes finally came in and although very similar in cost, we were able to get more for our money with Red Cap, which included membership and a rebates.Kevin came out the next day and prepped for install, not knowing that his warehouse loaded the incorrect unit on his truck. Kevin was very upfront, he notified me immediately, apologized and started working to rectify the error. Our Navien system was finally installed the very next morning and the system was up and running in no time. Consistent hot water from a more efficient space saving system is a beautiful thing 😎. To know that we will save on our propane bill is also a plus. The Navien should pay for itself over time.Thank you Kevin and Red Cap for your great service and professionalism. 5 ⭐s well deserved!!!

    I originally paid for a tune up through Home Depot. Red Cap called and set up an appointment. I was given an all day time frame. Fortunately, I received a call to let me know when the worker would be near my home so I was able to go about my daily routine. He arrived in the designated time frame. He determined he needed to do a diagnostic of the system instead of a tuneup. He asked permission to do this as there was n additional charge. He completed the diagnostic, explained what was wrong, what needed to be fixed and the approximate cost. He offered to have his company contact me to work out a payment plan. He was courteous and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable having him in my home.

    Jamie Bushee, of Red Cap Plumbing, did a terrific job of finding and fixing the water leak in our outside wall where the outside water spigot comes out. The leak was in the wall and not visible from the outside, but was leaking water into our kitchen. We called Red Cap Plumbing and they came out within the hour. Jamie located the leak very quickly and had it fixed within another hour. He was very professional, courteous and friendly. I highly recommend both Jamie and Red Cap Plumbing. You will be glad you called them. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Red Cap just installed my second ac unit within a year due to back to back hurricane flooding. They couldn’t have made it any easier! Not only did they show up within a day but they were also able to coordinate with my contractor so he could rebuild the ac closet between removal and installation of the ac. They also lifted my outdoor unit to prevent damage during future flooding! I don’t usually leave reviews but the installers, Manny and Yordan, were so incredibly professional and knowledgeable that I believe they deserve a holiday bonus. They made me feel like family and secured my commitment to Red Cap!

    After hurricane Helene I needed to have my receptacles rewired Electrician Jose came out same day to give us an estimate. He was very professional explained the code and expectations and was the most affordable estimate I received. I highly recommend ask for Jose.     We had a broken pipe situation, the main water line coming into my house was accidently broken by neighbors fence installation crew. My neighbor called Red Cap and a tech was out almost immediately. Blake Brooks called and explained the situation. Due to the nature of the break I knew it was not going to be an easy repair. Blake said a repair tech would be out first thing the next morning. The tech, Aaron Morris arrived on time, was well equipped and was extremely curtious. Aaron got right into the job and had it completed quickly. He showed me the repair and explained what he had done. I would not hesitate to recommend Red Cap, extremely satisfied with their timeliness, the analysis of the situation and the work performed.

    Home Depot referred me to Red Cap Plumbing to check on problem with my relative new a/c unit. House felt not very hot, but terribly humid. Unit boomed in short spurts. My nest thermostat was disconnected. They made appointment for next day kept their appointment after hours. I did not mind as long as my issue got fixed. Mike, the assigned technician was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and thorough. He solved the problem in no time, and put me on a very affordable monthly maintenance schedule.     I signed up for the yearly maintenance program. The phone response and sense of care I experienced with all the persons I talked to. The airco maintenance guys came on time and did an outstanding job! All costs were covered under the maintenance plan. I needed a plumber and they set up the meeting for the next day.The plumber found the issue, did a great job explaining what was needed, and replaced the water heater at once. I got a discount because of the maintenance plan and the work was done professionally. He fixed our kitchen drain (had to pay for that) And did a free water quality check!He also explained the other services included in the maintenance package that I will surely use.Very refreshing to have such a great experience where I felt they made it about me and what my home needs were.     From the beginning, with our most knowlegable sales rep, Austin Molter, who answered all our questions and was able to make the proper recommendation for the new Air Conditioner, based on our home and needs, to the installation by Manny, we give 5 stars. Manny was on time with his crew, he took out the old Air Conditioner and Air handler, built the base for the Compressor to get it far off the ground. The installation took a day, but we needed some rewiring done so Manny came back with his team to finish the project the next day. They cleaned up the area so well we didnt even know they were here other than having a beautiful new Air Conditioner. Manny also explained how to use the new computerized thermastat. I did have to call Austin for some more instructions on the new options, which, by the way, are awesome. I love the schedule for setting the temperature for different times of the day. I would highly recommend purchasing an Air Conditioner from Red Cap Plumbing, Air & Electric, you will be glad you did. The whole team is very friendly and very professional.

    My MILs home was flooded by Hurricane Milton. After two months of bare walls, we decided to hire our usual reliable plumber to inspect the condition of the pipes and/ or update the fittings before cabinetry is installed. He immediately noted that re-piping the entire house had to be done because it is a very old house. He suggested that now was a good time since the walls were exposed but that he could not do that type of work because of his age and the amount of physical work. That day I called Red Kap and they immediately sent Mr Erick Young to give us an estimate and who turned out to be a God -send. He patiently explained the entire process and answered all of our questions. What a pleasant personality for dealing with the public! Our predicament was that the dry wall was already set to begin the following week. He assured us it could get done in 1-2 days. Cleaned up after themselves pretty good, never going to be 100% perfect after insulation and drywall dust. The office team has been great getting all the documents needed for rebates and to have on file for future use. Final check by their QC team is set for this week, so they come out after done around a week later to make sure it is performing as it should be. Thomas back at the office looked it over with Eric while at our house, called some installers and on Saturday we had 4 guys out there upgrading our home! The technician was polite and professional and answered all my questions and I am not blaming him for getting to my house so late after my appointment time. The offered to use funds from the hydrojet to demo and repair the area. I had to pay the difference for the pipe replacement which was too much. Yesterday my entire property had a sewage backup most likely because they didn’t clear to the sewer main. They only did from house clean out to area. I called and they had someone come next morning.     UPDATE: 8 days after the installation was complete, there was a leak in one of the pipes installed on our attic as a drain line. They were very responsive and came that day to fix it. We were supposed to have an inspection done, but that has not been completed yet as of three weeks post-install. We have made a couple of calls, left voicemails, and sent text messages about the inspection and asking to re-route the drain line so that it’s not going through the attic.JUNE 12: We recently had our air conditioning system quit on us due to old age. In Florida, that’s no joke! Everyone at Red Cap was fantastic. Bill in Sales made sure to explain everything thoroughly and took the time to answer our questions, even on the weekends. He acted quickly to make sure that we would have AC soon! Logan and Lane were great when it came to the installation process. He went outside to call his boss and changed it to $189. Refused to change a handle to a toilet. They want another call to do that. They are scammers, sadly! This was a 20 minute job.

    I have used RedCap for a couple of other large projects and Ive been satisfied. Thats why I always just call them first. this is the first time Ive rated less than five stars, but Ill explain.I had a tankless water heater installed on the outside of my house. Everyone showed up on time, everyone got straight to work, the install was completed in a very respectable five hours or so. Exactly as I expect when I call RedCap.However When we went to test it things werent right. The water pressure throughout the house was now very low and the hot water was not hot. Luckily I had seen these symptoms before and went out and checked my Pump controls thinking when we killed electricity In the breaker box to run it out to the heater I mightve ooened the relay that controls my pump. And sure enough that was the case. thats why the water pressure was low, and if Im not putting feed water into the water heater, Im not gonna get hot water out.To make this long story short, I have a 62 year old House. It contains surprises. When the electrician, a very polite and professional young man named John, Wired in the new breaker He altered the power to my pump unknowingly. Because the breaker box contained an older way of connecting things and not the current way that they are done, he just didnt have the experience to fully understand my set up. And again, I dont assume he works on that many 62-year-old houses, so Im not faulting him.To his Great credit, John stuck around and kept trying to fix it, got his manager on the phone and talked it over, And basically redeemed the whole job and RedCaps good name By sticking to it and not getting frustrated, until the more experienced manager was able to tell him what was probably going on. I took a star off because of about two hours of anxiety that my house was going to not have any water for a while, But he didnt leave me hanging and I know that he learned from the experience. Theres a lot to be said about your character on how you work through adversity.RedCap still be my first call for plumbing related needs.
