Mike and Louis are awesome! They removed 2 old fans, replaced with 2 new fans. Mike suggested one old one in my laundry room. It was the best decision. Also, light fixture in carport moved above sitting area and fan installed. They do excellent work. They clean everything up and remove old electrical equipment and boxes. I am glad I called ACME. I had a recessed light installed by them above our shower today. I had first called a competitor who actually came out to our house to inspection and give us a quote. The quote they gave me was ridiculously high ($1400.00)for what was such a simple job. The quote I received over the phone with ACME was $300.00. I accepted and set the appointment for the following day. They charged me exactly what they quoted me over the phone. Their employees Steve and Chris arrived on time for the appointment and had completed the job in just about an hour. They did good work and were kind and professional. I am happy with our new light. I am very glad I called ACME and recommend them for anyone reading this review.

I had a great experience with Mike (& Mike/Sully!) today. Our W/D combo quit because the outlet we had did not support what it needed to run. In addition, we had some random power loss that ended up being a TECO issue. Mike was thoughtful, professional, clear and calm in his assessment and work. He even took the time to check out the other electrical stuff that came up which was not why we originally called him. My husband and I were pretty stressed out about the electrical issues but Mikes demeanor and professionalism put us right at ease. The work was done thoroughly and and with care. We will definitely call Mike again if future electrical issues arise. ACME has a great asset in these two professionals who value providing the highest quality service.

Steven did a great job with fixing a couple electrical issues in my house. I had a bad circuit breaker as well as flickering lights throughout my entire house. Steven replaced the breaker with ease and spent extra time troubleshooting the flickering lights, which ended up being a loose neutral wire on the TECO meter. He was able to fix everything up in less than an hour. Very happy with Stevens work and highly recommend Acme!

My pool circuit breaker kept tripping and within 1 day of calling ACME they sent out Jay and Chris to handle the job. They were both very professional, quick, polite and did a great job installing the circuit breaker. They explained the problem and told me they will handle everything. Would highly recommend ACME and ask for Jay and Chris to do any electrical repair.Now - just a couple weeks later.....Our circuit breaker kept tripping and since we work out of the home due to Covid - needed fast service! After recently using ACME for our Pool breaker recently, we called them again since they did a great job. They were able to come the next morning, very professional, and FAST! Jay and Chris were great!Great service and would definitely recommend.

We recently hired Acme Electrical Services to rewire a house that we are selling. Prior to hiring them we called a couple different electricians and none of them were as punctual as them in terms of getting out to check on the job and get us a quote. Wendy in the office and Mike were also always available to answer any questions we had while making our decision. We didn’t have a huge window to get the job done and they were able to fit us into an already busy schedule between other jobs. For this, we are so grateful!Normally I would wait until the job is done to complete my review but I don’t feel as though there is a need to do that in this situation as we are completely impressed with this company. The buyer of the property has been extremely difficult to work with. Since day 1, she’s been calling the electricians daily as well as reaching out to us via our agent to get progress reports. I can only imagine how the team at Acme Electric feels about being micromanaged to this extent but they’ve always remained completely professional despite the constant calls.It’s a large job that they haven’t even been on a week but today we called to let them know that the buyer wanted to physically stop in to make sure progress was being made(🙄) and we were informed that they put an extra guy on the job to make sure they finish up today.Thank You Acme Electric! Not only for a job well done but also for helping us close out this house sale and never interact with this buyer again.There are a bunch of 5 star electricians in the Tampa that it can be hard to choose but this type of service is what helps one stand out from the others! Highly recommend this company when you need an electrician in Tampa! Also to add they are competitively priced as we did get 3 quotes for the job. Next time we need an electrician, we won’t look elsewhere.

First of all, when they say “9am”, the meant it. I was late, and they waited on me! The first repair company who has ever been on time!I found their scheduler to be very polite and informative. I prefer to communicate via text, and they obliged me on that.The repair was complex due to some sketchy prior electrical work. Mike and ACME fixed all that nonsense. There was NO MESS left behind. Other than my switches now work, you would never know they were there.Everything was fixed with polite efficiency. The electricians clearly identified themselves and the true was marked appropriately. They were very competent, courteous, respectful, and prompt. I have never had such a good experience. No room for improvement.

Short review: ACME Electrical Services provided an amazing affordable, detail-oriented service to our home lighting and wiring, and I have already begun thinking of ways to bring them back for the next project. Unparalleled service.Long review: My wife and I are relatively new homeowners, so I was pretty scarred when the first electrician we hired years ago (for a simple fan installation, where we were required to put together the fans ourselves) overcharged us. We paid him, but I knew in my heart he was overcharging us, and I mentioned to him that we would never call him back ever again. We skated by with no trouble for a few years, when all of a sudden an electrical issue killed our AC and had us in a pinch to find an electrician fast. When we saw a positive ACME Electrical Services review on a Seminole Heights social media page, we took a chance, and now we have Jeremy and Steven as our electricians for life. Not only was the quote to fix the issue so low, we ended up asking for an additional quote on redoing the lighting in our home. To our absolutely surprise, the quote for this larger job was also incredibly low. To be honest, the amount of work involved was so intense that I even feel a little guilty by paying the low price.Jeremy and Steven were so friendly and so funny that I legitimately looked forward to them coming by the house over the course of the two-day project just to interact with them. They’re passionate about their work, and they added a lot to the environment of our home (forget the lighting) just by being there. Now, our home is lit up beautifully with awesome customizable, dimming LEDs—I feel like I just purchased my home again for the first time. As soon as they left, my wife and I began planning how we’ll get them to come back to do additional outdoor lighting.I am so thankful for the service I received, for the friendliness, passion, and honest work of our electricians, that I cannot wait to use them again. I wholeheartedly recommend ACME Electrical Services. Ask for Jeremy and Steven (but please wait like two weeks so I can get them to install my outdoor lighting first).

They inspected a new fan of mine that was blowing out new lightbulbs the second you put them in. They confirmed it was a faulty fan and nothing wrong with the wiring. They were not satisfied though that they were unable to fix the issue without starting to replace parts on the fan, which would have been cost prohibitive. Instead they came back a second time and installed a new fan for me for no addition cost. I’m very great full for their help with this issue.

I found them to be a very friendly and professional team that responded to a situation of my own doing whereby I threw out an electric toothbrush in the small plastic bathroom trash can that was leaning up against the hollow wall. A few minutes later, of its own volition, the toothbrush turned on and was vibrating in the trash can to such an extent that it sounded like a very loud motor noise coming from the ceiling. So I thought the worst, didnt know what to do after running all of my own diagnostics and reached out to them. Despite my lack of discernment and detective skill, the team managed to deduce the issue after a few minutes of poking around, much to my chagrin. We all had a good laugh. Great team, I thank them for responding in timely way and allowing me to resume my day in short order.

I will use them again for my electrical needs and would highly recommend them to family and friends.

I hired Acme to clean the mold off the AC Unit AirBlower in my Attic. They installed a UV light to keep the mold from coming back. Dave did a good job closing off the Ductwork and replaced the insulation on the AC tubes. I appreciate Daves respecful and clear communication, professionalism, and capable workmanship. I also appreciate Chris, the owner, for the good pricing and for discussing the maintenance options to keep my old AC unit running smoothly and mold-free! I recommend Acme Electrical Services!
