Cannot recommend C. Michael enthusiastically enough!! Five stars all the way through. By far the most professional, detail-oriented siding company in the area. After receiving five different estimates, we had an easy choice selecting C. Michael. They were not the least expensive, but neither were they the most. And the value (quality of materials, lifetime warranty, BBB rating, peace of mind) was far beyond compare. No one else was in the same league.Patrick, our salesperson, was patient and explained all of our options. Chansey came by a few weeks later to take measurements and provided invaluable insights and recommendations.The crew arrived exactly when we were told they would (on the early side of the window they originally provided— about 8 weeks after initial payment) and worked diligently, quickly, with true attention to detail for six days total. Lee and his crew— over 100 years of experience between them!— were friendly, too. Many of our neighbors stopped and complimented not only the beauty of our new siding, but the quality and speed of their work.We could not be happier with the final result and have handed out at least six C. Michael business cards to people who have stopped, admired, and inquired. In a business filled with companies who just want to finish a job and move on to the next, cutting corners along the way and telling customers whatever they need to, our experience with C. Michael and their standard of professionalism and dedication to excellence was extraordinary. Based on this experience, we will definitely will be using them for our bathroom remodel in a couple years.(If not crazy obvious, yellow=before, blue and brown=after)

We had this company replace the siding on our home and resize and update a few windows in our home last fall. They also just removed a bathtub and installed a walk-in shower. The salesmen are very knowledgeable and take their time to really understand the job you are looking for and answer all your questions. The workers are very professional and do a great job. The siding/window job had some scheduling/time management issues but they seem to have worked that issue out. The shower project was done in a timely manner and we love all the work they did. My husband and I would highly recommend this company.

Had aluminum siding switched to vinyl and gutters replaced. Job got started well before initially planned which was great! Adam was easy to communicate with and everyone on the job was friendly. They hung the new outdoor lights I bought, and offered to hang my new house numbers. The only thing I found that wasn’t perfect were nails all around the house in the grass/landscaping. Unsure if a magnet would have helped clean these up but aside from that, very happy with the final product! Would recommend to family/friends.

If I could give a higher rating than 5 stars I would. I could not have asked for a more professional job and my bathroom was transformed by two of the best men I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They were so polite and courteous but more importantly they very particular with every bit of work they did. When I bought my house 21 years ago it had a large 3 pane casement window in my kitchen. Over the years it no longer sealed properly and was very drafty in the winter. A pink mold started growing between the double panes and finally the hinges broke this summer so the window was inoperable. I researched several window companies and only a few were willing to replace one window. I decided on CMichael because of its reviews. Nick came out and thoroughly reviewed my options. Ironically we we to the same high school. Chansey and his crew- Mason, Kyle, and Dennis, were very professional despite the rainy miserable conditions the day of installation. I’m very pleased with my new window and would use this company again.

A job beautifully done. The crew arrived a bit before the scheduled arrival time ( a real plus) and worked rapidly with, apparently, expert skill. The job was then completed more rapidly than I had expected. The job was, by any measure, well done even to minute detail. I was impressed that the workers took pride in their work and really cared to know that I was pleased with the results. The windows made rooms come alive and look as if new. When I first viewed the windows from the outside only a one word response came to mind (WOW!). Neighbors who came out to comment echoed my feelings, a job beautifully expertly done.

This is the second shower replacement Donny Osborne and his assistant have done in my home. I was so pleased with the first shower enclosure I immediately ordered this second one and the same color and materials. The difference is that this one would have a shower door. As with the first time Donny was very efficient and professional and included me in all decisions about the installation which had a slightly unusual placement and measurements. When it came time to install the shower door its measurement was off by just enough that it could not be used. A shower curtain and rod were temporarily installed and new door ordered. The project is now complete and is terrific and super easy to clean!

I cannot express how happy my wife and I are with our new shower. Everyone was so friendly and easy to get along with. The initial team spent over two hours with us talking about what our options were and showing us the product examples. Once we decided on the materials, they were ordered and the installation team came to install. Darren and his team were absolutely fantastic! I have included photos of what it looked like under our bathroom tub when they removed it - they cleared everything out and fixed the leak that we had no clue about! We are just absolutely amazed with the final result!! Darren had even installed our new bathroom ceiling light/fan we purchased separately, the light switch and the cold air return vent. We could not have asked for a better team. Everyone was conscientious of our fur babies and laid down tarps on the carpet to not get them dirty. The team was so fast and finished within 1.5 days! I am very impressed with the company’s service and prompt response to any questions or concerns I had. I am very happy with the quality of the products that they use. Daren and Joey were very kind and attentive to any concerns I had. They also communicated clearly and frequently while they were working in my home and were extremely considerate of my home. I would highly recommend them for a bathroom remodel, we definitely got a quality product for our money. I also appreciate that I went from having to scrub the tub for 45-60 minutes and now I can clean my whole shower and tub in less than 10.

This shower is a tub replacement. It is way beyond my expectations and I can’t wait to use it! I am extremely impressed with Don and his assistant. I was made aware of a plumbing/carpentry issue that they found that had to be corrected and was going to cause the installation to take more than one day. I also was asked about placement of shelves and the seat in the shower and told about other issues they had run into near it. Floor coverings and equipment were picked up before they left at night. Before leaving at the end of the installation Don went over how long before I could use the shower due to caulk drying, care/cleaning of the shower, shower heads, and operation of the faucet.

We highly recommend C. Michael Exteriors, Inc. for a siding project. We had them replace our old siding and it turned out beautifully. From start to finish, the process was handled professionally and smoothly. We chose the Alside vinyl shake in the color Cape Cod Gray and added an accent section in the Tando Stone, Nordic Mist color. We love how it turned out!

Don Osborne is a true asset to this company. He and AJ were perfectionists in every detail of their work. Not only did they continue to work through the direct hit of the tornado that hit our house on Tuesday July 16, but they came back the following day with battery powered tools to finish the job. Outstanding guys, and their work is fabulous.The product is gorgeous. When we placed our order we were skeptical and thought we were settling for a speedy job over a quality product. NOT AT ALL! A few weeks later a team came in took our old windows out put the new ones in. All in about 6 hours they worked well together. They took the old windows and cleaned up behind themselves. Great experience I would recommend them to anyone that needs windows replaced.

The team at C. Michael Exteriors did a great job on our siding project from start to finish. The project cost, while not inexpensive, was comparable to other estimates we obtained. Their original time estimate for completion was accurate and they held to the timeline. The quality and craftsmanship of work done by the 3-man team of Mason, Danny and Angel was excellent and more than met our expectations. They repaired existing issues before completing the siding and trim work. We really like the fact that their trim is all vinal-clad aluminum that is custom bent and fitted to the existing doors and windows, resulting in the entire structure looking brand new! Also, they use the highest grade siding available. The team was also very receptive to our requests and suggestions as the project was progressing. In addition to the workmanship, once finished, they made sure that we were completely satisfied prior to leaving the work site. The team was professional, polite and friendly while working around our home and they did a nice job of cleaning up each day and after the project was complete.Would highly recommend to anyone considering a siding project!

Did a lot of the demo work myself and then called the experts to come in.From the beginning they were professional and prompt. Our rep came out to our home, listened to our needs, wants and wishes. Then created a bathroom plan that fit us perfectly. Communication around timeline and price was clear and direct (and fair!)When it came time for the actual work, i was so glad we went with C. Michael Exteriors. Darren and his team were timely, clean, honest, so quiet and worked in my home like it was their own. An entire bathroom completed in five days! I was shocked.Every day they put down drop cloths, vacuumed up, and left the space so clean. They let me know every day what their plans were for the next day and what was accomplished that day. When we bought our house it had older crank style windows that never sealed fully and were always drafty. In winter we had to wrap the windows in plastic and even then the house wouldnt retain heat. Last Fall we contacted C. Michael Exteriors to replace them. The installation (by Dennis G) of several windows in multiple rooms took less than a day. Now that winter is almost over we can honestly say that compared to last year our standard of living has improved massively, we have to physically touch the glass to feel any chill and the house as a whole retains so much heat that we havent even bothered to wrap the rest of the windows. C. Michael Exteriors also helped secure very affordable financing, which we greatly appreciate. Overall 10/10 experience, we plan on going back to them later for the remaining windows that should be updated.

C Michael Exteriors was very professional and quick at getting a salesman out to get us a quote for new windows. Nick was very thorough in explaining all the options we had and how their financing worked. We were able to agree on a reasonable price to replace all 23 of our 1900s farmhouse windows. All of the upstairs windows were still the old single pane wooden frames and alot of the downstairs windows were drafty and fogged in between the panes. We ended up chosing the double pane with insulated frames. They sent a contractor out quickly to measure the windows. They originally gave us a 10-12 week estimate for the windows to come in but they came in about 5. Once the windows were in their crew was out within a week to install them. They showed up at about 9:30 in the morning and were done before 7 that night, all 23 windows were installed and wrapped with new outside trim. Overall we were happy with their service and would recommend them to anyone looking to have new windows installed.

After painting and re-painting our cedar shake siding, we decided it would soon be time to have vinyl siding installed along with a new overhead garage door, and two garage screen doors. I had previously been contacted by C. Michael Exteriors and told them wed be interested in siding in a year or two. I was impressed that they remembered and checked in with us about every 6 months. So, this year, when we were finally ready to go, we knew who we were going to call, and were sooo thankful we did!!!C. Michael Exteriors isnt just a great company to work with. No, they went ABOVE AND BEYOND, and thats honestly no exaggeration. Chancey and Mason (the foremen) kept us well informed of the schedule, always on time and got right to work. The crew themselves were friendly and amazing. I mean, WOW, what a team! They worked sooo well together, each having their specific job, making sure each piece of siding was meticulously placed. The office people checked in with us regularly, including Gus (one of the owners) who stopped in to review the work. After working with them all, we could see what a well-oiled business model they had.Weve had so many compliments on our new look. We went from drab to modern, bright, and cheerful. Absolutely AMAZING, people and company.Our house had 20-year-old windows, some original windows and cedar shake form 1956. The old gal needed a lot of tlc. C. Michael, crew came through with a beautiful outcome. I couldn’t be happier with my decision. I would highly recommend this company.It took no time to get a call back about siding and windows. Pat showed up full of knowledge of the back-ground information of the company and the materials. There were several samples to choose from; color, materials, types of windows, and designs. It was a fun process there was no pressure that comes with sale reps, going over financing options and breaking down the cost of the project. Shortly after Mason was at the house taking measurement, explaining options, step by step of what was going to happen, and how things would be done. No question went unanswered. Mason made sure what we wanted was being done he gave great feedback on what would or wouldn’t be necessary. We were given a time line which came faster than expected.Materials came faster than expected within a few days of it coming in there was a crew working on windows and insulating the house. Each member of the team was polite, respectful, cleaned after themselves, answered any questions we had. This company really knows how to get a job done. I have over 3000 square feet and they did the whole property, two stories, in less than two weeks. The crew was efficient and polite. The installation crew of Darien, Joey and Earl were fabulous. During demolition of the old shower, they covered the door leading to the bathroom and all the furniture in the bedroom. All the floors leading outside were covered. They carefully removed all debris from the demolition. The new shower installation went without a flaw and they made improvements to the original plumbing by installing shut off values at the tub and access to the values through the closent. The house was cleaner than before they got there and they did the project in one day. The best product and the best installation crew ever.

Our original windows were about 25 years old with air leaks and poor tension to keep the cold/hot air out. Our old windows were not closing correctly and there would be gaps at the top of the window due to the ill locking mechanisms. One old window had a busted spring so we had never opened it since moving in. In addition, our quick fix had been used yellow foam to help seal up these leaks. Patrick visited and did a great job at displaying and explaining the various levels of windows offered by C. Michaels. We decided to go with the Zone Plus windows to maximize our investment. Within a week, one of the gentlemen came to measure our windows. Overall the turnaround was incredibly quick, maybe 2 months max. Our window installer was nice, professional and cleaned up after himself. He was able to bang out 6 windows within 5-6 hours. We are very happy with the service we received and would use C. Michaels exterior again.

Wonderful experience with them doing my bathroom last year. Took out the old cast iron tub, put in a new tub and surround and even did part of the ceiling (it slopes over the shower). It was my first major home improvement/ big decision after my husband died, and the saleswoman was very patient with me, informative, and even managed to get me another discount when i was on the fence about the purchase! Start to finish a great experience and superior product (they even threw in some superior quality hardware), i would not hesitate to recommend them.

April 2021We bought a house last fall and spent our first winter in it. During this time, we could clearly see and feel how uninsulated our windows were. Some original to the build of the house. I would be sitting at my desk working and see my curtains move and constantly feel the cold air on my fingers. It was a no brainer this was going to be our first major home improvement/project for our new house. We talked to two different companies and decided to go with C. Michael Exteriors for several reasons. Our salesperson Gary Langdon did a wonderful job explaining the process of how the windows were manufactured and showing us the very different factors of these windows from other companies. The multiple layers of insulating are a big factor for us. There are a several choices on colour, grides and type of style window you are looking for. We needed to replace seven windows. Two larger windows, converting one from a bay to regular, two basement, and three “normal” room size. Each window is made to specifically to fit your needs and made here in the USA. Gary assured us the ease of the project from the skilled workers coming to put in the windows. This was a big concern of ours. We wanted to make sure everything was picked up and clean. Gary assured us the workers are very professional and will go through all the workings of the windows with us once completed. He was not wrong! We got a call saying our windows were ready and could they come that week (a few weeks earlier than estimated ). Chance and his crew showed up right on time that day and were all very professional and courteous. Each worker that came had a specific job on each window and this made the process go so fast and smooth. You can tell they have been doing this together a long time. It was flawless and like a “well-oiled machine”. They were completed with in a few hours. Not days or a whole day, a few hours! The professionalism from Gary and all the skilled workers is definitely a reason to do business with C. Michael Exteriors. We highly recommend for any project that they can accommodate. He was understanding and kind. And went out of his way to make it affordable . Then financing was our next move. Then came Cindy who was also kind and went through the bank process with us she gave us options and with her we made the right choice the affordable one that we can handle. Then one month later Don calls me and lets me know the parts came in and wanted to set an appointment to install it 2 days later he and his two workers were at my house working their magic . In one day it was done and done so well They did an immaculate job. Patrick said it very well youre now family and thats how they made me feel. We werent expecting them to install until April or May, but they were able to have it done way earlier then expected. They delivered the windows on a Thursday and had them installed on Friday. I cant say enough good things about this company. Im a repeat customer now and have referred them to others like my mom. They first came in 2020 to replace all our windows, install two new windows and replace a sliding door to the backyard. Chancey is a beast. He and his crew did an awesome job. They were very fast, professional, knowledgeable and cleaned up so nicely after the job finished. Pat was a really knowledgeable and down to earth salesman who helped us make the best and most affordable decision for this window project.I just had a bathroom remodel with Don and AJ. These guys are simply amazing. Yet again, another quick, thorough and clean job. Don even went above and beyond and helped with correcting some plumbing issues made by a previous contractor. He really took care of us. Our salesman was Jeremy and just like Pat, really helped find us the best deal and was so down to earth. I cant forget about Chawnsy either and all his input into the bath projects. He and his brother, Chancy, mentioned above are some of the best out there.We are now about to start our third project with this company. A prior contractor just did a master bath remodel early this year but were so concerned and unhappy with the work done that I asked Jeremy about redoing and essentially fixing the master bath. No one really wants to redo a project but the risk is too great for future problems especially after the concerns we had were confirmed by Don as well as even more that was pointed out. Knowing that Don and AJ are going to work on the master bath re-remodel gives me a huge sense of relief and peace.Ive dealt with various companies in CNY so far and most of them dont come close to the level of value, professionalism, work ethic, eye for detail, fairness, thoroughness, speed, and authenticity that you get from working and talking to the people from C. Michael Exteriors.You get what you pay for but with this company, every penny spent is worthwhile and then some. We had our shower completely replaced. We are very happy with the replacement and the work completed. We had some delays in getting our project scheduled. We were told we would get a call back in early August (signed contract in late April) but when I had not heard back by mid-August, I needed to call twice before getting a call-back. Finally scheduled for the end of August but had a 2 day delay due to issues with the job before us. When they arrived, they were very professional, explained what they were doing, showed us periodically progress made and completed the job in one day (9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.). We did not like the finish around a cabinet (what we wanted was not included in original contract) so the lead contractor offered to send a finishing piece and my husband said he would install. The finishing piece arrived the next day. Very happy with the quick response. They are more expensive than what we expected but happy with the product and the installation so worth the money.

Our experience with C. Michael Exteriors installation of our new shower and bathroom flooring was extraordinary from start to finish. We picked C. Michael because of the quality of materials we were shown and the lifetime guarantee. Daren called us multiple times prior to installation to update us on order and expected install date. He and his crew arrived promptly on the install date, set up a work table in the driveway, laid down cloths to cover our carpeting on the path to the upstairs bathroom location, and proceeded to work, taking care to minimize any disruption. Daren checked in periodically during the day. They had to address an area where black mold had set in after water damage, and replace some door frame areas and bottom moldings in the bathroom. We also had to change location of grab bar in shower because of pocket door behind it. We were respectfully consulted and reached agreement on how to handle each repair. Work progressed rapidly and the shower installation was complete in one day. And it is beautiful! Daren returned the next day to lay the luxury vinyl tile we had purchased, and again did a beautiful job. I have waited several weeks to experience use of the shower and make sure of my review: I could not be more satisfied! Beautiful job Daren and crew, and C. Michael!

Final Product /Installation grade: ACommunication - pre-installation: C-- We were told that the job would start within 4-6 weeks. Actual time: 9 weeks. This was likely COVID-19 related, which is understandable. We started calling the office on week 5 to get an estimate on job start. We made 3 calls over a 10 day period and were finally were contacted with updated information a few days after the 3rd call. We eventually received a letter indicating a pushed-back start date, but this was well after we already knew this.- During the measurement phase, the foreman indicated that the existing wood soffits would be removed and replaced with their product. Additionally, the vents on either side of the attic would be covered up to allow for optimal air flow from the new soffit vents to the roof vent.Installation: A- I randomly asked the crew chief about the soffits. He said that their product would be placed directly over the existing wood soffits. We agreed to cut extra vents prior to installation. Also, the vents on either side of the attic were treated and left open/active, counter to what I had been told during the initial measurements of pre-installation.-+ The crew does do a great job of clean-up at job completion. For the majority of jobs, which may take 5 days or so, this would likely be perfectly fine as-is. Our particular installation took 2 weeks. I typically walk barefoot in my yard, as do the neighborhood children that pass through here. I would take nightly walk-arounds to inspect the work of the day. I regularly found a handful (not 1 or 2 - a handful) of 3 nails on the ground, as well as screws. The band-saw used for cutting materials to size was moved to various positions around the house. There were sharp corners left behind. My position is that a 5-10 minute nightly clean-up routine would help to alleviate the majority of these. Again, this should take nothing away from the crew, who did an all-around excellent job. This should be a company-wide policy, not left up to the individual crews.+ On day one of installation, our landline phone lost service. To his credit, the crew chief made several efforts to fix it, but was unsuccessful. They graciously acknowledged that they would cover the cost of repair. Fortunately, the phone company repaired the issue without cost.+ There were regular quick progress updates with the crew chief of what was covered for that day, as well as to address any concerns that we had.Crew: A+ This is hard work. The four crew members were prompt, courteous and did their jobs exceptionally well.+ Some existing windows were installed without insulation. This was pointed out to us and they took care of it!+ On the one hand, you *definitely* know that new siding is going up on your house, on the other hand, the crew is very independent and unobtrusive.+ The crew chief was excellent with communication and handling our concerns.
