    Wow! I can’t say enough about Green Planet Plumbing and Sewer! They were phenomenal! I freaked out when my shower and toilet started backing up and was able to text them my issue that evening around 630. They responded right away and the next day I had an appt! They communicated their arrival time and kept me updated throughout the process. Fast, friendly and fantastic work! Highly recommend!

    Green Planet consistently provides excellent service with high integrity, and we will use them for any future needs we have. Most recently, we asked them to help out with a radiant heat issue, where another provider had diagnosed a several thousand dollar tankless replacement. Justin from Green Planet came out the next day and determined the problem to just be the water temperature setting. Green Planet has a highly skilled and, more importantly, a high integrity team.

    Bathtub faucet was leaking. These guys came out right away, diagnosed the issue but said the part would need to be ordered and they call me back in a few days when it arrived. About an hour later they were back and said the found the part and fixed the faucet right away. Great service and exceeded my expectations. Will definitely call them next time I need plumbing service.

    I have had 2 excellent experiences with Green Planet. Eero (pronounced arrow) was a straight shooter who isolated a gas leak for me last winter. Last week Justin replaced a cartridge in an old bathtub faucet that was leaking. The first replacement cartridge unit he tried was not successful, which he explained to me (likely some issue in unit) as he redid the work with a separate new cartridge.Justin showed up on time, got the work efficiently done in 1 hour. Eero was equally prompt and courteous. These guys are pros as is Jeremiah on Green Planet dispatch. I like working with these guys!

    Great service, great price, extremely friendly. We needed the plumbing under the sink rebuilt after installing new counters. The first company we called quoted such a laughably high fee that we called Green Planet. They showed up same day, provided complete service, at 1/5 the cost of the first quote. We have our go-to plumber in West Seattle now.

    I have been working with Tyler and his team on my small business remodel for what seems like years. No, actually it has been years. Tyler toured and pulled county records on many properties I had been looking to purchase. He went over all the options with me for every building and for every idea I had. When we finally found THE property, made the purchase ,and started the construction process Green Planet Plumbing was with me every step of the way. Answering questions, turning off the water supply (after being requested the morning of), talking with the manufacturer of the specialized equipment we needed installed, and helping us make the most money conscious, educated decision possible. Our relationship with Green Planet Plumbing has been stellar. Wonderful, locally owned business that happily works with other small businesses!

    I’ve been getting a lot of quotes and calling a lot of companies to fix issues with my home lately. I’ve met a lot of untrustworthy, pushy salesmen. When I found out I needed a plumber due to a broken pipe in my crawlspace, I was less than eager to start calling around for more quotes. I found Green Planet from a few recommendations I saw on the West Seattle Facebook group. I emailed them through their website at 11pm Wednesday night. They had emailed me back by 8am and had two guys out here by 9am. The guys were professional, kind and obviously knew what they were doing. The quote to fix the repair was reasonable. They gave me a second quote to fix another problem they found but were honest about it not being an urgent fix. I’m tight on cash right now, so having this honesty, with no pitchy salesman act was so refreshing to me. They fixed the issue and were done before 11am. As a female homeowner, it’s really common to get taken advantage of and I cannot thank Green Planet enough for being a stand up company and getting the job done quicker than I expected. I will definitely be calling them for all my future plumbing needs!

    I recently used Green Planet Plumbing and Sewer to replace my water heater. This was not a straight forward job.The water heater was tucked into a small alcove in my utility room and blocked by a small cabinet (with a sink) and a washing machine. The old 50-gallon unit had a power vent. I called numerous plumbing companies, including the largest in Seattle. I was faced with companies who: couldn’t come out and provide me with a bid until the following week, gave me astronomical bids, told me certain things were not possible, or insisted that I move the sink cabinet and the washing machine. Really??? One plumber said the job was too “messy” and wasn’t interested.When my service technician, Justin, provided me with the bid, he suggested an idea others hadn’t and was able to do the job without moving a cabinet that every other plumber claimed needed to be moved.Justin performed the service today - and I couldnt be happier. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, conscientious, and personable.I would also like to recognize Jeremiah. Due to the schedule, I would need to wait a few days for a new water heater. Knowing I had not had hot water for days, Jeremiah offered to do his best to see what he could do. Through his unprompted efforts, I had my new water heater the next day.I am so pleased with my service that I brought over a neighbor who has rental houses, to meet Justin and asked for some additional cards to give to my friends in the neighborhood.I’ll be taking a bath tonight!

    Please use Green Planet for any plumbing issues! I had a horrible experience with Beacon Plumbing last week. Marcus & Justin with Green Planet came out and did what needed to be done and explained everything to me. I dont have enough money to pay for the permanent fix right now, so they went the extra step to get my line as clean as possible to buy me a bit more time. Great service, good prices, and theyre honest. I highly, highly recommend these guys!

    The contractor used Green Plumbing when we remodeled our house over 8 years ago. I had a break in what I thought was my sewer line and called Green Planet and 2 other companies for a quote. 1 came in over $10k, but wasnt exactly sure what the issue was, another said $3.5k and was pretty sure they new what the problem was. When Justin came out and assessed it, he knew exactly what the issue was and it was significantly less. 2 months now and no further issues. Im glad I went with them and didnt rip up my yard only to find out that wasnt the issue!

    “Welcome to home ownership.” This is my least favorite phrase in the English language. My wife and I are first-time homeowners and are still getting used to various problems and issues popping up that seem to have never affected previous owners. For example, basement flooding caused by some poorly (and illegally) done plumbing combined with record snowfall and three straight days of rain. As soon as I discovered the flooding, I began calling plumbers. I had never used Green Planet before but had passed their offices and noted their focus on being environmentally friendly, but knew little more when I called them. Of all the companies I called, they were not only the only ones who could get to my house before late afternoon that day (which was apparently the busiest day for Seattle plumbers in quite some time), but also the most helpful. I spoke with Tyler, who instantly gave me some suggestions of how I could stop or even just slow the flooding (at this point I had no idea what was causing it). Although nothing I tried was effective, I appreciated that his first priority wasn’t locking in the job but rather helping me solve my problem. The team who came that day, Erroll and Marcus, arrived just after 12:30 and began investigating the problem. Every time they thought they had found the solution, they instead found a new contributing cause to the problem. Regardless, and despite a demanding schedule for the day, they continued to search for not just a temporary stop, but a permanent solution. By the time they had figured out what was causing the flooding and how it could be solved, it was mid-afternoon and things were not getting better. I don’t know how another plumber would have handled this unexpected complication, but I felt comforted when I overheard Marcus on the phone with Tyler, telling him, “We can’t leave him like this.” Sure enough, a one-hour call had become a three-hour call. Unfortunately, the problem could not be fixed that day, but Marcus very clearly explained the cause and the solution, and we were able to schedule service for the beginning of the following week. Even though more rain came, and therefore more plumbing jobs, Tyler and his team were able to complete the job by time they initially said it would be done. Although I had to be at work while they were at the house working, his team stayed in communication with me and were absolutely professional and friendly. They were understanding of my concerns and kept me at ease while they were here at work. When the work was done, they made sure that everything was cleaned up and that our yard was restored to its original condition. I hope we don’t have any plumbing issues in the future, but if we do, Green Planet will definitely be my first (and hopefully only) phone call, and I recommend that they be yours as well.

    We called Green Planet Plumbing because of a water leak we discovered in our home. We didn’t know where the water was coming from, glad we called. They dispatched Eero out the same afternoon who quickly started the process of locating the issue. He even took the time to explain to us the process. Eero found the leak which was coming from the upstairs tub, made the repair, cleaned up and even discussed the invoice with us. Excellent work, we now have our plumber!

Arggghh...Its relatively easy to post a favorable review for a contractor when all goes smoothly. What differentiates the great service providers from the good ones is how they handle when there are issues or something goes wrong.Contracted Green Planet several years ago to reline a failing sewer. Started having problems again this year so asked Green Planet to take a look. Inspection revealed the subcontractor they used for part of the job didnt run the new lining all the way to the city main, and the old pipe eventually failed.Although not directly responsible for the problem, Green Planet willingly reimbursed us for the hassle and inconvenience of another repair. A refreshing departure from the Go ahead and sue us. response so common today. Would not hesitate to use them again for future plumbing projects or repair.

    Quick Response, for Small ProblemWe had a hose bibb that did not work, and had trouble finding someone who would even respond to calls/email. Then we remembered driving by the Green Planet trucks on Fauntleroy. I submitted a request on their website and got a very quick response with a reasonable quote and upcoming availability - within a few days. I called Friday and they came on Monday (not an emergency for us).Eeso walked thru the problem with me and had it fixed very quickly - did not even need any parts. He showed me what he was doing in case we had the same (stuck valve stem) problem again.Green Planet will be my FIRST call next time!

    I would recommend Green Planet Plumbing and Sewer in Seattle. They came to my house to clear a very stubborn clog in an outside down spout drain. It was filled with years of pine needles. The three person team, got out of their truck, assessed the needs and got to work. They used a drain router, a water jet cleaner, and finally used their camera and a locate to see that they cleared the drain all the way to the sewer line in the street. They were very professional. They work extremely well as a team. They came and left in less than one hour, leaving us with a high level of confidence that our problem was solved. (and their pricing was within our local pricing index...). They left us with no surprises and very satisfied.

    Had a tenant somehow unscrew the bathtub drain and call me cause it wont go back in. Being in Alaska, I couldnt take care of it myself as I built the house. I called another plumber first, who was too busy and recommended these guys. That says something right there....Marcus came out 5 hours after I called, let himself in the house with the hidden key, called me immediately and was a little confused why it would happen. He found the tenant had cross-threaded the drain into the boot, which could cause him to replace the entire drain. He wanted my permission to try to fix it (fix the threads), then if needed, replace the entire drain.Calls me back 15 min later and says he had success getting the original unit back together, and tried to only charge me there minimum service call. I voluntarily overpaid (pay for what you get people) and including tax was out the door still for just over $100. Crazy happy.Integrity, skilled and super easy to work with. If I could give 7 stars I would. Marcus could have turned this into a can of worms by just not trying as hard. And he would have made a lot more money doing it any other way than he did.

    Matt from Green Planet came over to look into water dripping from my kitchen sink area. He was super smart and friendly. In particular, he communicated the problem and solution really well - he had a theory and took steps to prove it out, and explained each step to me. He popped into my attic to determine that the source wasnt from a leak, but actually an old vent pipe that wasnt capped correctly. The price was fair, his work was efficient, and I walked away with a better understanding of my home. Definitely will use Green Planet in the future.
