    This is the kind of business we all hope for: a small, quality-oriented operation. Jacob communicated exceptionally well at all points of the process. He took our job on short notice because we were without hot water. He recommended the hot water heater I would have asked for. He didnt try to upsell me. He was sincerely concerned about substandard work done by previous contractors and gave options for fixing those issues. I was lucky to have already gotten one price from one of the high profile companies, so I knew what the high end would be. His price was not just a little lower; it was shocking to me how much the high profile companies get away with charging. So maybe its a good thing I did it that way. Paying the service call fee to the high profile company got me good information on the situation that Anthonys confirmed and fixed for a much better price.

    Jacob was great! He called ahead to let me know he’d be early if I was open to it and he was pretty quick to get everything fixed up. I really like that they use HouseCall Pro to book, schedule, and pay my invoice because it’s just a major convenience for me. I actually found Anthony’s on a list from the city for verified backflow testing which is out of the norm for me; usually I Google everything and scrape reviews. I took a chance and they were a pleasant surprise. I’m glad I went with them. Super convenient and speedy. Will recommend and use again.

    I had a great experience with Anthony’s getting my new house set up & updated before i moved in. They totally re-did the plumbing on three sinks, and connected a new faucet in a fourth. Were super timely & responsive, the kid who came was really nice and explained things without making me feel like an idiot. Did very clean work and cleaned everything up after (not everyone does that) and was sure to ask me when there were decisions to be made so that everything was how i wanted it. Great experience, i slept without worrying about leaks for once, i would totally use them again!

    Jacob and his team are masters at plumbing when it comes to older homes. Cleaned out the drum trap as well as snaked out the kitchen sink. Both now run clean. He will be coming back in a few weeks and replacing my older out of code water heater. I do not have a drain in my older home And the water heater is over 12 years old. Its timeJacob and his team, came on Monday and replaced the water heater, I appreciate the efficiency and the clean up. They took the time to explain to me how to turn the water and water heater off should there be an earthquake. (of course, they added straps for that) It also brought my water heater up to code.     CJ was very reassuring in explaining to me what could be causing problems with my water pressure (my higher elevation a strong possibility, which turned out to be true), and some of the other problems in my new house. He figured out specific challenges and went into repairing them quickly and efficiently.He was a great detective in finding debris blocking the upstairs shower heads causing low output compared to the other two showers in the house. He flushed the system out and replaced some worn out washers.He relocated a boiler drip condensation exterior outlet to a much better place where it would no longer be dripping onto the gas line causing corrosion. In the same area, he also replaced an exterior hose big that had been leaking. This was not an easy job as he had to go through the wall to change it out. He kept me informed of every step. The finished job was clean and neat.He thought to test the neighbors water pressure too (with their permission) to compare our water pressures PSI. His thoughts were confirmed that our water pressure was the same, and the max possible for our elevation. It was reassuring to know this.The overall estimate was less than the initial proposal, due to not having to replace an expensive water pressure regulator. I appreciated CJs explaining to me the reasons for this and his overall honest and good communication.On a personal note, he was also sensitive to the skittishness of my two indoor cats in the new place and spotted one of them who was AWOL, while leaving after finishing his job.

    Our 1950s house had a mix of old galvanized steel pipes and copper added during some previous renovations, and we wanted to replace the rusting galvanized steel with PEX and move the main water shut-off to an accessible location. Jacob was able to visit for an estimate right away, gave us a competitive quote, and, most importantly, could schedule the job within a tight time-frame. He was very knowledgeable and also recommended other possible improvements, like replacing the toilet lead bend, updating the shower valve, and getting a PRV.We wanted to do everything by the book and get a proper permit from the county. Anthonys Plumbing handled this process for us, from the application to the inspection. The work itself was clean and fast. The water heater closet looks very impressive now, almost like a mad scientists lab 😂 Since parts of our house are resting on a slab instead of a foundation, Jacob and his team had to come up with some creative solutions, like running the pipes outside of the house through an attached shed. And they even fixed a few other things along the way. Were glad we picked Anthonys Plumbing and plan to use their services in the future.

    I was really really happy with Jacob and Anthonys plumbing. He was professional knowledgeable came by I looked at everything gave me all the information I needed answered all of my questions was extremely patient and gave me a really fair quote. In addition he came highly recommended by a number of people in my neighborhood. And he was on time or he sent a text to let me know if he was going to be a couple minutes late and as importantly he was extremely responsive to any email or text I sent him I got a response just as quickly as he possibly could which was always normally within a few hours or faster.     We were looking to replace an older tankless hot water heater with one that had recirc built-in. Jacob was the only one to realize we didnt need TWO hot water heaters and that we could consolidate and put in a dedicated recirc line serving the whole house.     Had a pretty amazing experience with Anthonys Plumbing. Just to be completely earnest the cost was roughly comparable to other plumbing outfits in the area (not the cheapest quote I got, and not the most expensive), but service-wise, they went above and beyond.After a pinhole leak developed in our Rinnai tankless water heater / boiler combo that had long been a problem, Anthonys was able to come out same-day and provide a temporary solution to the problem so that we still had hot water until he could come back and install the new heater. Additionally, Jacob was able to identify the root cause of a problem that was contributing to the previous two water heaters failing and didnt charge any extra to do so.Would highly recommend this plumber to others, especially if youve had persistent issues and are looking for someone who will be up-front with you about your needs.

    Our tankless water heater stopped producing hot water one Saturday. We had another plumbing company come out and they got us going. However, I was skeptical when he said that our water heater - only 5 yrs old - was on the way out and he strongly advised we replace it; of course he provided estimates.Since the water heater was so new, I wanted another quote and happened across Anthonys Plumbing. I explained the situation and Jacob was able to fit us in relatively quickly. Jacob accurately diagnosed the issue - the water heater does not replacing, but he discovered that the contractors incorrectly installed it. It wasnt possible to resolve the installation mistakes, but he did replace some small parts and add another that would improve performance.Jacob was happy to answer my questions and was quick to respond to my calls or texts. Both he and his technician were professional and respectful, and always turned up when they said they would.

    Anthonys Plumbing is great! This is the second job weve had Jacob do at our house. This week he saved us from a leak in mainline between our house and the city meter. He answered our questions, was frank with us about the different options for fixing the leak and how that might play out in the future.     Scrambling to find an available plumber with a leaking pipe and water in my basement, I found a 5-star rating for Anthonys Plumbing online. Jacob responded quickly to my call and then provided an estimated cost. Upon my approval, CJ arrived quickly, diagnosed the problem and replaced the supply lines to my tub. He also checked all the surrounding plumbing to make sure there were no other leaks in this 1906 house. CJ was efficient, communicative and pleasant.I will definitely call Anthonys plumbing when I have future plumbing needs.

    I had an excellent experience working with Jacob and I highly recommend him as your plumber. I hired him to replace my 10 year old tankless water heater which was leaking. I got three quotes in total and Jacobs was the cheapest. He also gave the best first impression as he is transparent and fair. I really appreciated that he walked me through a cost/benefit analysis of all of my options and did not try to oversell me on things that I didnt need. On the day of the install, Jacob showed up on time and even worked through lunch to get the unit installed in a timely manner. After the install, the water coming out of my fixtures was nice and hot but I had some issues with my radiant floor heating not working properly. Jacob was nice enough to come back out at no charge and help troubleshoot and fix the issue. After multiple experiences dealing with large plumbing companies that overcharged me for work that never fixed my issue, Jacob was a breath of fresh air to work with. He is professional, knowledgable, and very reasonable and you wont regret hiring him as your plumber.

    We are new homeowners and did not have a go-to plumber yet when we had a leak under our kitchen sink from an old valve. We had tried to replace the valve ourselves before but were unable to get it off due to its age and the nearby pipes that made turning a wrench tricky.I texted Jacob the details, he responded quickly and he sent out CJ the next day. They gave me updates on arrival time and arrived about when expected. CJ was professional and quick, getting the old valve replaced in no time, and he was very gracious about being barked at by my dog. Since the minimum charge includes an hour of work, we had CJ replace 4 more of the same type of valve under our other sinks to prevent future leaks. CJ also answered some questions I had about the way our kitchen sink plumbing was set up.     Professional, knowledgeable, honest, fair and very efficient. Jacob is very responsive, and really knows his stuff. Local to West Seattle, arrives on time and has done a fantastic job doing all the rough in plumbing in the bathroom, installing a new washing machine drain and inlet, installing three new water heaters and basically removing the old galvanized steel pipes and repiping the whole triplex. We had three separate plumbing systems coming from one water line, it was messy! Jacob, with his helper CJ, got it all done within 5 days! Everything was up to code and done to a high standard.     Jacob is a lifesaver! He’s responsive, reliable, and very professional. Our Rinnai tankless water heater broke and we were having trouble finding a certified technician to assess the problem. I called Jacob at 9pm at night and he picked up. He talked with me and then my landlord that same night for about an hour and a half. He was able to do an initial assessment through photos and then came over the next day to do an in-person assessment.He was very knowledgeable and clearly explained each step of the process.     I contacted Anthonys Plumbing regarding some issues we were having with our garbage disposal, and Jacob responded within the hour. He sent out CJ the same afternoon, and it was determined we needed a new disposal so we were scheduled the very next morning for the install. While CJ was onsite, I thought of another issue we were having with running out of hot water despite having a large capacity hot water tank. So the next morning, CJ replaced our disposal while Jacob diagnosed the problem with the water tank. He repaired the thermostat, and in less than 24 hours from when I first contacted Anthonys Plumbing, we had a new garbage disposal and double the amount of hot water! With a toddler whos constantly playing on the floor, I appreciated that CJ took off his shoes at the door without being asked. He was also very tolerant when said toddler was screaming his head off and when my fur-babies gave him a bit too much attention. Anthonys Plumbing was prompt and professional, and wed not hesitate to use them again.

    Top 3 reasons to call Anthonys Plumbing:1) For at least standard, run-of-the-mill jobs, they gave me an estimate WITHOUT requiring an onsite visit. All others I called had mandatory onsite visits for an estimate that they would use to pressure me to use them, and some gain even more leverage over you with a fee for their mandatory onsite estimate.2) Outstanding communication and service. I was always kept in the loop on what was going on, and even knew when the very professional and friendly plumber was on his way to my house. And an unforeseen curve-ball required new estimates, which arrived in about 5-8 minutes.3) No pressure service. In the end, I had to choose between the estimated job, a cheaper one, and a more expensive one. They provided advice on all three, and with zero pressure did a great job on doing the cheaper job.At the very minimum, give them a call.

    Highly recommended for your installation and replacement water heater needs! Our 2008 water heater began to degrade over the last day with a leak then finally no hot water after 2 days. On Friday at 12pm we called Anthony’s Plumbing & Water Heater Seattle and Sean was able to slot us in for the next morning. We were told 9am-12pm for Saturday morning and was given a quote based on location and type of the current water heater. Saturday morning at 9:15am I received a text that a technician had been dispatched to my house and 1 minute later received a call from Jim that he and Justin would be arriving within 30 minutes. They arrived with masks on and walked me through the work they would do based on assessment of the replacement work. The total they calculated was within the quoted price and did not change once their work was done. They were very professional and patient with my questions and did a great job communicating and cleaning up after their work was complete. In total they able to complete the replacement of the water heater in less than 3 hours (including the assessment and payment of services).

    I used Anthonys plumbing for several jobs - extending a gas line, adding drains for a new laundry and a bathroom, and installing a new PRV. I decided to go for a smaller/more local company as I have been unhappy with some of the other larger plumbing companies in the area (Seatown) that claim they do high quality work but cut so many corners that wreaks of apathy and laziness - If I knew as much now as I knew back then, I would have them rework a lot of it. Anthonys plumbing was much better from a value perspective as well which should not be a surprise as they dont have the overhead of large marketing costs which gets passed onto customers (those constant radio ads and large displays on vans are not cheap). Communication was great and during the initial walkthrough, Jacob identified another issue and we added that to the scope of the job as well (specifically, my PRV was really old and he recommended replacing it as my water pressure was too high). It felt to me he was genuinely concern rather than an unnecessary upsell which is often the case with these things. There was also some concrete that needed to be cut that he subcontracted and he billed me at cost for that. The plumbing work passed inspection and the gas needed some minor rework that he and CJ completed promptly. I have used Bees Plumbing in the past and their work was great but significantly more expensive (30-50% more) for the same quality. In the future, I plan on using Anthonys plumbing for all my plumbing needs due to the quality of their work and me wanting to support neighborhood businesses. If there was one thing that could be better with Anthonys, turn around time from requesting a quote to completion of work is slower than the companies with the big service vans with their logo emblazoned all over but I was not on a tight timeline so it didnt matter to me.

He texted to let me know CJ was running a bit behind schedule, and followed up with a text asking if it all went well after the job was done. CJ was able to diagnose the problem quickly (leaking donut seal between the tank and the bowl, and disintegrated seals on the tank. He had it fixed in less than an hour, so the cost was reasonable.
