Probably a little more pricey on the water line repair than I would have liked, but overall pleased with Jason(will ask for him, if I need more plumbing stuff done) and Zest.Prompt, respectful and polite.

I found Zest Plumbing thru a Google search.From the moment they answered the phone the young lady was a perfect employee.I described my problem and she helped set up an appointment the very next work day.Their technician, Len, showed up on time.He was very knowledgeable and patient with my questions and concerns.Len also helped with the pricing as I was surprised at the cost to correct the hot water issue I was having.In the end Len came back two days later with the parts needed and did a first class job.I have found the plumber I will use in the future.Great company.

I had an excellent experience working with Wally at Zest Plumbing. He is very knowledgeable, responsive and professional. I really appreciated that he tried to fix the faulty part first, before replacing it entirely (sadly it wasnt able to be salvaged) - but he made the effort! I have used Jason Taylor four times now. I’ve previously posted about the first two. The third time was to replace hardware (faucets, drains, etc.) in two bathrooms. Jason also upgraded main exterior piping from PVC to copper. Went from multiple leaks to no leaks. Jobs done flawlessly. Today’s task was to swap out guest bathroom toilet with upgrade. He noticed that Kohler left out of the box the cosmetic ‘plugs’ that hide bolts so I could get those sent to me. Small detail but it illustrates how thorough he is. As I said in my last post, I have been satisfied with the other plumbers from Zest, but Jason gives me extreme confidence in his skill level AND I believe he is a very honest person who will not oversell us.

Anthony worked on my project for three long days. My plumbing knowledge and experience was very limited. He patiently listened and answered my questions. His work was very meticulous. He was very aware of the disruption created by this work and did his best to keep the fine dust to a minimum. He was very considerate warning me about the sound level created by the jackhammer suggesting I might want to leave for a while and I did. Anthony is trustworthy and knowledgeable about his work. As with most plumbing issues this was a plumbing emergency. We had a brand new pump that was not working correctly. I saw the reviews were great for Zest plumbing. I called and initially was connected to their AI, only.problem I needed to know how soon could someone come out. Ron noticed I called several times and he called to see if they could be of any service. Wow, when Ron said they were sending their best guy. He wasnt kidding. I was really fortunate to get the legend himself Wally The_fit plumber. Wally was able to look at my situation and knew exactly what to do.He definitely put.us at ease since we had no water coming into the house.Wally objective was to make sure we get water back. First watching Wally is.like watching and artist at work.As with most job we ran into complications with the new pump. Wally had all kinds of resources to call on. We had to swap out the pump since no one in the valley had any idea about it(new on the market). Wally did what he does best and got us water with a new pump. When he was finished he did the dance since he was so happy that he was able to solve our problem.I cant thank Wally and Ron and the folks at Zest plumbing. Truly professionals and genuinely care about resolving your issue(s).Zest is my now to go to plumbing company and I highly recommend them trust you wont be sorry.Thank you!

Update:The day after I left the review below, the owner called, explained that they spoke to the tech and agree that they did not follow process and refunded me the $950 I paid. He refused my offer to pay for the time the plumber spent stating that they did not deliver on their commitment.It was very refreshing to see the owner standing behind his employee and did not throw him under the bus and blame him in any way. I may give them another chance.Updated it to a 5 star review,---I gave 1 star on this review:The worst plumber I have encountered in my 20 years of home ownership. I called them to investigate a leak near the main water inlet in my house. If they don’t do work like this, they should have refused this call… no they did not.The plumber came in, explained him the problem - he said he was going to write up the work and give me an estimate. The plumber could have told me he does not want to dig and get dirty, no he did not… he wrote up an estimate dig up to 2 cu ft and explore and identify the leak, fix using up to 2 inch copper for $985.I agreed to the work and had him initiate. He encountered the leak, in a mass of tubing irrigation and irrigation drain pipes… he stalled at the point, hemming and hawing about could be this or could be that without proceeding further, claimed that it could be my pool draining (seriously) or may be they could fix it, when I asked who would they be he said landscapers… after about 20-30 min if this, me behaving like his associate trying to help, he behaving like my boss - he said, well, I have to do further digging that will involve more work, I’ll write it up. He comes back with an estimate of 1650 to do another exploration but then there is an old stump, if the problem is near it, I’ll have to remove that stump before he will give me a new estimate. At this point I paid him $950 (for essentially an incomplete work ) because I wanted him to leave my property and sent him away. The plumber I found today identified the problem 1 inch below where this guy stopped, and patched it up for $150.So there you have it, I thought I have seen price gouging, never have I experienced at this level. Are there no honest plumbing companies in Phoenix ?

Extremely thorough and professional service tech, Mike, did a great job and saved me quite a bit of money by suggesting a maintenance contract that was cheaper than the annual service I had been paying for prior to the new ownership of company. I highly recommend Mike and Zest!Jason installed an RO water system and did an excellent job.Wally Field came for a routine maintenance of my water heater and noticed it was leaking. He replaced the heater with a new one on the same visit (see photo) and even helped with another unrelated leak he noticed. Outstanding!Most recently, Jason installed a water softener to replace an old Kinetico system. He gave me a great price and did an outstanding, professional job.

Walter and Michael came to my house after hours. I had a major backup in my plumbing and they did a quick and excellent job in getting my situation resolved. They found a tube of caulking had been dropped somehow into the pipes and it was backing up the plumbing. This is a new house, so a worker must have dropped the caulking tube during the build. The homebuilder has not accepted responsibility yet. Great job Wally (Walter) and Michael. I would highly recommend Zest plumbing. Vincent came the next day, dug out the pipe to remove the caulking tube. Great work at a good price

Within two hours of calling Zest, Wally arrived for a free quote to install a utility sink in our laundry room. He provided a competitive price, so we asked him to proceed with doing the job. Due to a water main issue that was discovered, the scope of the job grew, but Wally’s knowledge, professionalism and communication skills were impressive. Simply had an incredible, over the top experience with Wally and the team at Zest. Concurrently with having a plumbing issue, I also had an AC issue where I called our warranty company to come out and fix it. They were to arrive on the same day at roughly the same time to make it easy while I was working at home for the day. The experiences could not have been more different and shows why Zest has the ratings it does. Wally from Zest showed up with military precision exactly when he said he would and immediately goes into expert diagnose mode. He dumbed everything down for a fence-post like me and then he noticed and commented on other things around the bathroom that have been annoying...but certainly not critical to us. Examples such as slightly leaking faucets and some fixtures that needed an upgrade. He took it upon himself to go to the hardware store and match exactly the fittings and faucets that I needed and went about repairing and upgrading those as well. Who does that?? I was candidly embarrassed because I thought service like this was dead and went out with the 1960s house call. Wally was incredibly efficient at how he worked across the three bathrooms and explained the process the entire way. He was a machine with a smile. He acted like the neighbor you always wished you had next-door who could fix everything and not make you feel like you should know this stuff. As I mentioned, this is in high contrast to the experience, I had with Seasr and their Cinch Home Warranty Service; They were late, you couldnt talk with anyone on the phone, and you had no idea what they were doing or what they fixed. Zest is the new gold standard, and not only plumbing for me, but candidly inspired me to do so many better things in my business. They are a case study, and Wally is the hero of the story.

This is our third time using Zest and they have again delivered great service at a fair price. This time it was a small bottle of cologne that was knocked into the toilet while it was flushing and managed to get stuck in the toilet blocking it. Our rep from Zest, Michael Richards, may look young but he knows what he is doing. He tried dislodging it with the auger but when that didnt work he had to remove the toilet to retrieve it from the bottom. He did a great job with zero mess. Here is the culprit. Thanks Michael.

Mathew and his associates arrived Monday morning and found a major plumbing issue under the main bathroom flooring. They got right on the issue and had it repaired within four days. Mike Sabah was extremely helpful with explaining the various options for a new water heater system. Once I made a decision, he and Frank were off and running on the removal of the old tank, and the installation of the new heater. The work they did was thorough and they left the area clean. They even installed a drip pan and drain to the outside, as well as added a bag of salt pellets to the water softener while they were on site. Mike was prompt, friendly, and patient with all of my questions. I would definitely recommend Zest Plumbing to others!

Update 3/13/24:She wanted to enjoy a late night bath, but the faucet wouldnt shut off water any longer. I discovered the only way to stop it was turning off the main water supply for our house. So, I went online and found out my reliable plumbing company is now known as Zest Plumbing and Drain. You can use the website to setup an appointment and luckily I was able to get one for the following morning. Jason arrived at our home to find out the Az hard water had made it impossible to remove the hot/cold water handle from the valve at the shower wall. Well, he let us know it would require a new handle and trim kit since the old one would have to be destroyed to remove it and the faulty cartridge. Alas, we agreed on replacing both bathroom cartridges as the guest one was starting to become hard to turn in recent months. Luckily Jason could pick up replacements nearby and he was able to get everything repaired without any leaks, yay! We have new Moen valve cartridges in each bathroom with a new trim kit in the master and everyone is happy again. Thanks, Jason and Zest Plumbing!Had a failed water heater that was pouring water out of the bottom of the tank. I called Affordable Plumbing and they had Curtis come out that afternoon when he was finished up with his call (on a Saturday)!After inquiring about a tankless option, Curtis passed on some knowledge and encouraged me to do some research on it. My wife and I agreed that the tankless water heater was right for our family and we asked to have Curtis return and install it.I was very impressed by the workmanship of Curtis with the entire install and fit of the tankless heater. He did a fantastic job and Im truly thankful of his work ethic. Worked with Len and Bill to replace my Pressure Reduction Valve (PRV), replace my two, old 50 gallon hot water tanks with a Navien tankless hot water system, and replace my old soft water system. They quoted two days of work and did it in 1 1/2 days. Len had an assistant and they did an excellent job. They answered all my questions and were very responsive. At the end of the job Bill called me and told me they would credit my account for $320 because they installed a smaller PRV due to the line being smaller than what they expected. I would have never known this. Zest is a stand-up business with honest people you can trust. My only complaint is they left a bit of a mess where they installed the new PRV outside. It took me a few minutes to clean up.

I had a suspicion I had a slab leak. Reached out to Zest and they responded quickly with a comprehensive inspection and a detailed quote. They started the work next day and completed the entire re-plumb of the whole house in 3 days. Each day they prepped their areas to make it workable for our family and tidied up. Communication by the lead plumber, Jason, was excellent. The General Manager even visited the job site which I was very appreciative. One side comment, you will end up with a lot of holes in the sheetrock. You will need to hire a drywall professional to patch then a painter to prime and paint. Total time took about a week from beginning to end. A positive experience and high satisfaction from a large plumbing issue. I would highly recommend Zest.Update: On my moms house the hot water heater needed replacement just a week later from the slab leak described above. The first technician Michael R was on-time and immediately contacted a supervisor to better diagnose the problem, which is very rare these days to get the best service. Wally took his time to thoroughly diagnose the problem and provide a resolution for the issue plus stayed on top of the work each day. And, I liked that he also took the time to get a second opinion before executing the plan to fix the problem with the plumbing. After an inspection from my roofer, he looked more closely, and into my attic and mentioned the leak was coming from water lines in the attic. I had a clogged yard drain and hired Zest Plumbing to clean it out. They determined it was full of dirt and would require removing a 5-foot section of patio to install new abs pipe and attach onto current storm drain. The bid was $4489 with a 25-year warranty on parts and labor and required a $2200 deposit. After removing the section of patio and digging out the dirt to a depth of 18 inches, they determined the storm drain had entirely collapsed and gave me a bid of $13,500 (or another $11,300) to install a new drain. I got two alternative bids and selected ABS Landscaping who did an outstanding job for $4200, just a little over a third of Zests bid. I judged the value of the work done by Zest to be worth about $500 (2 hours labor plus jackhammer), but the manager decided it required $1500 and only refunded $700 of the deposit. One of the reasons given was they charge $500 to knock a hole in a wall that takes them 15 minutes. Not very impressive for an otherwise highly rated business but consistent with their bid being nearly 3 times a competitors.After posting the above review with a rating of 1, I called Zest Plumbing and Drain following their response, was immediately connected to the owner who provided an additional $500 refund. I still regard the cost as high but much more reasonable than assessed by his manager. I am impressed that they want to maintain high standards for their company’s services and are responsive to customers’ experience.

On March 19, 2024 we notice moisture on the floor around our toilet so we called Zest and a technician was able to get to us the same day.Vincente Cardenas provided us with 5-star service. He pulled and reset the toilet with a new wax gasket and installed a new supply line, a new tank to bowl kit, and a new fill valve. He also cleaned out a sluggish sink drain.Thank you again Zest for outstanding service!We called Zest last evening when we noticed our water heater had a serious leak. Caesar Lazcano arrived arrived this morning provided us with excellent service. Installed a new water heater and resolved a couple of minor plumbing issues while he was here.
