We had a great install experience with our door install.Luis removed the old door, installed the new door making sure to caulk and seal with silicone for a solid fit and to keep the critters out. Installed the door handle and deadbolt and they work perfectly.Took the old door and cleaned up after so there was no mess.Next time we need a door installed we will call Responce Crew again.Thank you Luis!

Today we had Luis come to our home to replace wood siding! He texted me to remind me he was coming, arrived early (8:00 am) and worked solid for 9 hours. Before he arrived, he had already picked up the panels. Luis is a master carpenter and handyman. He replaced many of the rotten board siding and you couldn’t tell where the old left off and the new began. After fixing 9 large boards, Luis even fixed the grout that was in bad shape. He went above and beyond all of our expectations. I will always call him whenever I have a project. He charged half what another person had bid! I’m a realtor and I’m very picky! Use these guys!! Awesome company! We hired response crew to help install some den doors we bought. The team was quick and did great work. We bought the doors from this awful door company called United Porte (Scottsdale location). United Porte was awful (do not ever buy doors from them). But Response Crew was able to deal with their bullshit and really came through for us. Special thanks to Yigal for helping us through the nightmare with United Porte Scottsdale. He went above and beyond to resolve the issues that should have been the responsibility of United Porte Scottsdale. We will be hiring response crew for our master bathroom project next. Highly recommend!

As a poor grad student, I thought I was doomed when the front door to the condo I rent was kicked in overnight. The deadbolt lock and door frame were irreparably damaged, so I was left without a way to lock the only entry door to my home during an extremely busy time in the semester. Luckily, I was quickly contacted by Jennifer with Response Crew after filling out an online form. After snapping a few photos and sending over an e-mail, I was provided with a reasonable quote the very next day. Jennifer understood my situation and that I needed this problem handled quickly and was able to schedule a service appointment within the week. The Response Crew member who fixed my door, Luis, was on-time, friendly, efficient, and went the extra mile: the three cats in my apartment were rather inquisitive of the work he was doing and he made sure that they didnt escape! The finished door looks like nothing ever happened. I was sent an invoice within two hours of the job being completed. The work took exactly as long as quoted, yet the finished project still came in under the quoted budget - a VERY nice surprise.Thanks again to Jennifer, Luis, and Response Crew - Ill be recommending to my friends and clients!

Response Crew is my new favorite handyman company. We had a hot water leak that resulted in the need for some drywall, baseboard, and carpet removal for a drying out process of everything affected by the leak. Per our insurance company, two different construction companies came out to give us an estimate on needed repairs. When it came time to schedule, neither of the other companies were responsive. I called Response Crew, and they scheduled us for repairs in less than 2 weeks!The intake process is really simple. I emailed Response Crew a report of what we needed fixed and photos of the job. They sent back an estimate for labor and said any needed materials would be charged at actual cost (no mark-ups).On the day of service, Jack called prior to the service window time to let me know he was on the way. Jack and David arrived on time. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They completed the work as discussed in my emails with Response Crew, and even finished a little earlier than expected.Of note: we still need some carpet padding replaced and a small area of carpet re-installed, but Response Crew let me know ahead of time that they don’t contract for flooring needs.I highly recommend Response Crew for any household repairs that they contract for. This is the second time we have worked with them, and we have been very pleased with their work and communication on both projects. They also seem to have very fair and transparent pricing, which is always nice. Thanks Response Crew!

The company was easy to setup an appoint with and thorough with their estimate. I am able to drywall and spackle, but I cannot match texture. They came out to do the work, very professional with covering items in the kitchen and did not leave a mess.After the texture dried and I put on a coat of paint, I felt that the texture did not match well enough and I called to inquire what can be done. I was told they would keep working until I was happy, and I really appreciate a company taking that approach. Texture is not easy! It came out great the second time and I would refer this company to others.

My technician was David. I needed an old indoor roller blind removed and replaced with a new one and also needed some drywall repair around the window and at the seam where the ceiling and wall meet. He was very personable and explained the materials he was using and how he would complete the project.I also like the confirmation texts prior and confirmation text day of service which includes a picture. The work actually came in below the estimate. The estimate was based on pictures I uploaded. So, I guess it wasnt as bad as it looked. Lol.

Great Handyman service! We recently moved into a new home in Scottsdale and needed to have some heavy furniture hung on the walls. It was a tricky installation and Tim did an amazing job. He was efficient, effective and made sure to clean up everything when he was finished. He is coming back next week to do some more work for me. I was thrilled with the service. Also, Jennifer in the office was great with the scheduling. She is responsive and extremely helpful. I will definitely be using them again!

We had a leak in the wall and after the plumbers ripped the walls out and everything dried out I went looking for someone to put my bathrooms back together. Two back to back bathrooms needed drywall, paint with texture and vanities replaced. Response Crew was quick with the estimate, the techs showed up on time and the work was done professionally and at a very reasonable cost. I will keep Response Crew on my list of contractors for the next project we need done. Highly satisfied with the quality of the work and the price.

What a great find the Response Crew is for us! And an even greater find was our handyman, Kelly! Kelly is knowledgeable, courteous, and great at communicating in person and via text. Kelly replaced an exterior utility door--a pretty complicated task. Kelly checked out/measured the old door and searched diligently to find an EXACT replacement, got the door quickly ordered, and kept us in the loop on its arrival. Once the door arrived, Kelly removed the old door and all the rotted wood framing, installed the new door, repaired the stucco around the door, and painted the new door. Definitely worked the job in a high quality and efficient manner. I would recommend Kelly and the Response Crew hands down! We will be using them for all our home projects!

We needed a Dog Door installed in the Master Bedroom of our new home, Response Crews staff from questions to estimate to completion was absolutely wonderful! They did the work quick and very well and did a great clean up job! Awesome Team!!! Jennifer was great to work with over the phone and was very accommodating when I wanted to add additional work to the existing order. I was really happy to see Dennis show up on time wearing a mask. In these times of Covid we are super cautious and he was amazing about keeping it on the whole time he was on our property. Dennis was fantastic to work with. He is very professional, through and has great attention to detail and was meticulous about his work and cleaning up after himself. He also fixed a pocket door which I know isnt something that Response Crew typically deals with but got it working better than it ever has. I highly recommend this team and (Dennis in particular) for any work around your house. I will definitely be using them again!!!

We recently moved from CA to AZ and, as expected, there were a variety of tasks/small projects we needed done in our new home. Based on prior Yelp reviews, I contacted Response Crew. Jennifer was immediately responsive, we quickly had our estimate and we were able to schedule a full days worth of work within two day. Kelly contacted me about 40 minutes prior to his scheduled arrival to advise hed be on time and he was. Kelly was nothing short of amazing; he was professional, polite, accommodating, and patient. The quality of his work was outstanding. We knew wed have a second phase to our move-in work and without hesitation we will book with Response Crew and definitely request Kelly. Our experience was perfect.

On November 7 2022 David from Response Crew came out to do a new installation of a bathroom fan. This job had a lot of moving parts. David had to first locate and cut a neat hole in the bathroom ceiling, then get into the attic and install the fan itself. Next, run fan exhaust ductwork across the attic and out. Finally, an electrical power line had to be fished up from the wall switch in the bathroom up to the fan. David did an excellent job. Ive dealt with a lot of contractors in the past and feared all kinds of things going wrong, nothing did. I was really impressed. I would not hesitate to call Response Crew again.

I am so glad I found these guys. My handymans name was Jack, he was friendly, super knowledgeable, and took care of the issues with my cabinet and door hinges. He was also able to identify the root cause of the issue for my ceiling fan. Great service and I felt they where transparent in their fees, which was a relief. I will definitely be reaching out to them in the future for any repairs.

We are in the midst of selling our house. Somehow, our front door was not locking well and was a little difficult at times to open. I called Response Crew Friday morning to schedule a workman. Jennifer, the operations manager, said the earliest she could get somebody out was Tuesday, June 1. We were tentatively scheduled to be out of town that day. I told Jennifer I would call her back in a little while after I spoke with my wife.I called back and Jennifer said the June 1 opening was no longer available. I had just learned the buyer of our house had scheduled a property inspection Tuesday morning, June 1. Jennifer said she could get somebody to help us on June 2. I said we really wanted to get the door, and a plumbing slow leak, fixed before the inspection. She told me to hold for a minute. When she came back she said there would be a workman at my house within the hour. I was ecstatic.The workman turned out to be Jack Austin, a very nice guy. He went to work on the double-front door trying to get them to lock and open easily. He finally decided the only way to fix it was to either replace the wood threshold, which matched our wood floor perfectly, or to sand the threshold down.He did not have his sander with him, but said he could return Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. That sounded too good to be true.Jack showed up on time Saturday morning, worked on the door to make it functionally like brand new! He also worked on our slow plumbing leak from our pressure regulator. He tried to stop the leak without replacing the pressure regulator, but that was not possible. He went to Home Depot, bought a new regulator, and ending up fitting the new part into our plumbing system.Jack continually explained everything to me and even gave me some good advice on a couple of other projects I am working on. Jack built up my confidence in him and I knew he was going to figure out our double-front door issues. Which he did.We are so grateful to Jack and to Jennifer, for getting him out to our house quickly when we really needed the help. On his way out, Jack said if anything else came up, he could come over on Monday, Memorial Day, and help out. It doesnt get much better than that! We need more Jacks in the world!

These guys were awesome. On time and did great work. Im so glad I called them and I will again.UPDATE: I recently used Response Crew this month (April 2023) and in my opinion this company has gone downhill. Its very difficult to contact them. Calls always go to an answering service and sometimes Response Crew doesnt call back until the next day. This is not good for emergency situations. I needed some minor electrical work done, which they say they can do on their website. However, I found this not to be necessarily true. The wires going to my thermostat and doorbell are broken and they can’t fix those. On their website they say they can run electrical wires for electrical repairs, but they said they can’t fix my broken wires. At that point I didn’t feel good about using Response Crew anymore, which is very disappointing because I thought I had found a great handyman company to use for years when I need small repairs done. Use them at your own risk. Maybe you’ll have better luck than I do. Well. . . I guess my search for a good handyman company starts again.

We had the Response Crew out to our home twice once for removing the kitchen appliances and then re-installing them for our kitchen remodel. Both times they were very professional and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The remodel was not perfect but they were able to figure out a away to install the dishwasher that was a bit rough due to the remodel not being straight causing a tight fix fort eh dishwasher. We will be using them moving forward for all our future projects.

I had the pleasure of working with Paul Smith of response crew. The job that I needed was to have an interior door installed. The door was a bit problematic and required some modifications. Paul was able to quickly identify the problem, and was able to quickly adjust his method for issues that arised. He had all the tools needed to complete the job, seemed very familiar with the process. He even went the extra mile (no pun intended) to go to home Depot and grab the correct door and install it. The door was a serious pain in my rear and I am grateful that Response Crew and Paul specifically were able to take care of it. Thanks Paul for your diligence and for being and overall solid guy.

Gregg was amazing!! He was on time and very professional. He was probably the best handy man I have ever encountered while living in Scottsdale. He was the type of guy who was able to see my vision and offer me a solution. He was really detailed oriented and understood the symmetry I was looking for and how I wanted everything to be installed. He worked really fast and I was impressed how he made sure he cleaned up and I was also impressed how he used painters tape to make sure he was aligning everything correctly. He installed a access door for my Cad 5 lines, shoe rack inside my closet door, heavy curtains, shelves over my toilet, my dyson in my garage and among other items. He added a outlet for my Dyson that was hung inside my garage. I will certainly use them again for mounting my tv and other items. They are worth the money and they guarantee their work. Ask for Gregg!!!

I got a call from Gregg the next day who said he would be arriving early if that was ok which was totally professional and cool. Gregg was very friendly and said he could handle the repair of my gate no problem. He did a rockstar job and my gate works better than ever. We had several patio doors that weren’t closing properly. They also needed the door sweeps and other parts repaired. We had tried having the doors fixed a couple of other times with other services but no one was able to figure it out! Finally I found out about Response Crew from a door company. I was very pleased with the service I received from Response Crew (RC). I have an Airbnb in Chandler AZ and submitted a request for quote for some fairly simple work (a kitchen faucet, 3 bathroom faucets and a shower curtain rod). I was very detailed in my description of the work needed, so that I could get a ball park estimate online. I sent the request to 5 different handy man services, and response crew was the only one that responded with an estimate. All other handy man services wanted to come to the house (I live in Chicago, so I couldnt meet them and I didnt want to waste time). Again, I wasnt looking for an exact quote, just a ball park. After giving me the estimate and talking to the customer service team, I decided to give them a go.Ruben from Response Crew came to my house, on time (8am as promised) and completed the job very well. I had all products there waiting for them and RC installed everything. Further, I purchased a wrong size faucet and RC drove to Home Depot, picked up a new one for me (sent me a pic for my approval) and returned to my home to install it. I returned the other one I purchased, that didnt fit, for a full refund.Was my first time using RC and first impression was excellent service and a good group of people. I will use them again and hope to get the same service. Thanks!

I have engaged the services of Response Crew a couple of times since moving into my new home. They helped me build a sauna, balance some existing ceiling fans and move/reinstall the washer and dryer after the house remodel. They have always been on time, professional and courtesy and cleaned up whatever there was to clean. They even wiped down the washer and dryer that had been stored in the garage and was covered in remodel dust. I have recommended Response Crew to several friends for some of their handyperson needs. Wasnt so pleased with last person, but this time the repairman not only did the requested work, but also checked all the drains and fixed a slow one in the shower! We had three medium size projects: a new door / frame (that came primed) which needed a finishing coat of paint, mirror 5 x 6 which needed to be framed / painted, along with some old utility boxes / tv dish that needed to be removed from our back patio area. The Response Crew answer our call for assistance and sent one of their best techs - Dennis. Dennis is a perfectionist; he completed every possible detail required to make sure the above projects was done right. We recently moved to Scottsdale and have called on Response Crew several times for various projects at our property. They are wonderful to work with! The team at the office is efficient, communicate effectively and are very attentive to your requests. The two techs who have been at our house multiple times now are Angel and James. I hired Response crew to clean up and repair fascia boards running along the roof line of the house. They also fixed a couple of sections of my pool fence that were badly rusted. Prior to the work Scott came out and did a nice job of surveying the fascia boards, evaluating what the job needed. Additionally he observed the issues with the pool fence and gave me a quote on that too. Their quote was competitive and fair. They did a nice job of cleaning up the fascia boards and fixing the pool fence, and on the same day. Im definetly going to use these guys again. I should also add they ended up coming in under the quote and of course and adjusted the price accordingly. Im not sure how many companies would have the integrity to do that.

When I requested the quote, there are only few responses, and one is not available (booked out till September), one is out of service area, the only positive feedback is Response Crew.Kelly arrived early before the scheduled time, and tried his best to do the job. However, the scope of the project given to him was not completely the way I mentioned in my quote. I stated that after installing the range hood there are back splash tiles need to be patched up, Kelly was not aware of this, and said they do not provide tile service. I wish they had made that clear.Also, because the weight and location of the 2 machines, the job usually requires 2 persons to better proceed. I hope the company will consider to equip the technicians with jacks or other appropriate tools to handle the job in the future. In any case, I helped Kelly to finish the job as much as I can with limited supplies from Lowes (the duct pipes are not flexible, so Kelly needed to do some improvise).Overall, for the time and cost spent on this project, we are good with the end result.

He wore a mask and got straight to business.Hugo informed me of every step he made and showed me that the junction box that was initially placed in the ceiling by a certified electrician wasnt even the proper box. Hugo ended up having to cut through the dry wall to replace the box so it could accommodate the chandelier.Not only did Hugo install the chandelier - he ended up also doing drywall patching and painting and he did an amazing and outstanding job!!If you wonder about the price - I thought I am going to be charged quite a bit due to the unforeseen drywall repair and replacing the electrical box yet for all the work that Hugo did, it was honestly the fairest invoice I ever received.I highly recommend Response Crew and I am certain that I will hire them for most of my future projects.

On a very hot day in early September I had a broken door casing on my front door preventing it from closing properly. I called Jennifer to schedule an appointment. An appointment was made for Thursday at noon. The technician Christian called me at 1150am to tell me he was 5 minutes away. 2hrs and 15 minutes later the door casing board was replaced, all door trim reinstalled cleanly, door re-hung and my very fair bill paid. Christian was even knowledgeable and kind enough to pick up longer 3 hinge screws that went all the way into the casing board to prevent this from ever happening again. Used them 4 times now. Replaced a patio roof, put a door in, replaced a garbage disposal and repaired the wall base. I have been happy each time and they remain my go to handyman service.
