I’m sharing my experience working with Leak Science. Although they were unable to provide their services because my pool leak was not a plumbing issue, the help I received was especially generous and helpful. I spoke with both Ryan and Aspen and they were so kind and supportive. To say this company is honest and sincere about helping their customers is putting it mildly. I would not hesitate to use Leak Science in future and most definitely suggest anyone needing help with a pool leak issue contact them for an estimate.

I had used another company to detect my leak, and when they told me they wouldnt fix it, I was left to search for someone to complete their job and repairs. After several calls, I found Leak Science, who came highly recommended by a pool remodel company. Im so grateful I called them, wishing I had used them for the initial diagnosis. Aspens communication is top notch. Not only is she warm and friendly, but she also described the process in detail and kept me updated when to expect a quote, a repair, an invoice and a final charge. Ryan and Chris were wonderful as well. They are both knowledgable, honest, and like Aspen, great with communication. Not only did they fix my leak and some other issues, but the team took delicate care of our new travertine that needed to be pulled up to complete the repair. In addition, both Ryan and Chris provided me with some great tips and recommendations moving forward. The entire experience was positive from start to finish. I highly recommend Leak Science!

These guys are AMAZING - veteran-owned and operated, very hard working, friendly, and talented experts in the field. My pool suddenly started losing about 5 of water a day. I called Leak Science and Ryan actually came out the same day to do a site survey, after hours, after completing a job on the other side of the valley. He and Bobby returned and did a full test of the plumbing, including the pop-up heads and main drain (which turned out to be the source of the leak). Instead of just fixing the leak, I decided it was a good time for an overdue remodel of this 40+ year old pool due to other issues like a rapidly deteriorating fiberglass coating (replaced with new tile and mini-pebble), cracked pop-up head sleeves (pop-ups filled and eliminated, replaced with new plumbing, returns, and a vacuum line), and a leaking single-speed pump (replaced with new variable speed/flow pump).Ryan project managed the whole thing so I only had to deal with one person. Many thanks to everyone at Leak Science - Ryan, Bobby, Bo, and Chris as well as Victor and his crews. Super nice guys all around, they definitely know what theyre doing and take pride in their work. Great communication, they show up when they say they will, the work is performed better than expected, and it costs what they say it will cost. I felt like a VIP, like their most important customer.

The negative edge wouldn’t run properly so we had to run a 4 inch pipe underground around the back of the property to get the negative edge to work. I came back from vacation and noticed my pool level dropping faster than normal. It was summer and hot but I knew it was excessive and concerning. Leak Science got me on their diagnostic schedule quickly, came out and found the leak in my skimmer box. I had my skimmer box replaced 2 years ago and it was installed wrong. They explained how it was improperly installed and how they would fix it the right way. Ryan, the owner, got me on emergency repair schedule and Chris did a fantastic job on the repairs. They even textured and painted the repaired cool deck to match my existing cool deck. I am so impressed by there work, friendliness and integrity, that Im going to have them re-pipe my 1970s pool when the weather cools down. I highly recommend Leak Science.

Leak science was amazing! We are visiting my husband’s brother and my SIL and they realized they had a leak in their pool somewhere. She called a few different companies and couldn’t find anyone to come before Monday. Leak science called her back and I think said they had a cancellation and could come today because they were neighbors. He communicated arrival time very well and found the leak within a few minutes. He told them how to fix it and even checked their other water lines for leaks. I wish they were located in Texas so I could call them to check our property!!! Do yourself a favor and CALL THESE PEOPLE! They are professional, honest, accountable and very reasonable.

We have a unique pool. We have a surge tank that supplies water to the pool. The pressurized pipe that keeps the surge tank full broke and Leak Science was able to do the repair at a fair rate. They are the only pool repair service company that took the job and they got it done right. Most plumbers said this was out of their realm. This was just another day of work for these guys. I highly recommend their work and expertise. True professionals.

I discovered that I had a leak in one of the underground lines to either our pool or spa. Based on the good reviews I read, I contacted Leak Science to come out and find the leak and give me an estimate to repair it. Within only a few days of calling Leak Science, Bobby came out and quickly pinpointed the source of the leak - in a large 2 1/2 spa booster pump line. Soon thereafter, I received an estimate for a worst case scenario repair job to prepare me for the worst.Today, Chris and Cody arrived to do the repair work. Fortunately, the repair took less time than we had expected so the final cost was less than half of the worst case scenario. Needless to say, we are thrilled with this outcome! Chris and Cody were terrific - very pleasant guys who did a fantastic job for us and cleaned up everything when they were finished so it looked as if nothing had happened.Everyone I spoke to at Leak Science during this process was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Leak Science for pool and spa leak detection and repair services. While I hope I never need them again, it is good to know that these guys are around to help if needed.

Leak Science is the best. They communicate clearly and are super professional. They truly cared about getting the job done right. They found and fixed all of the leaks in my pool (skimmer, waterfalls, and tee in the plumbing to my spa). My pool was a difficult puzzle to solve because of the number of leaks, but they stuck with it and solved everything. The work included jackhammering up the pool deck and recreating waterfall walls with tile. Everything looks amazing.

Great customer service, great response, & great work!When I first called the company and explained my problem, with my pool pump, I set up an appointment for him to come out. Ryan promised to be here between 10 and 12, but closer to 10. First of all, I was surprised he was able to come out so quickly. Second, to be provided a 2 hour window as opposed to the standard 4 hour window was a pleasant surprise. On the day of the appointment, Ryan called at 10:05 to say he got tied up with his previous job but would be to my house shortly. I appreciated the heads up and customer service.Ryan was quickly able to pinpoint the main leak problem as well as point out some additional problems he uncovered. He fixed the issue and I’m very happy with the service. His price was very reasonable and what he quoted me. I highly recommend him over any other leak company. He’s very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. I have a tendency to support small local businesses over chains and Ryan/ Leak Science fits the bill!

This company was recommended to me by my pool guy because he had worked with them in the past and was willing to put his reputation on the line by recommending them to me..He was absolutely right in recommending them. Bobby, Chris ,and Bo are a great group of guys that are honest, professional, and nice to work with. My spa was leaking and they were able to do the entire job completely in-house, meaning that they were able find the leak, cut into the concrete, repair the plumbing, and then re-build the concrete, paint and texture as if noting was ever cut into it. When I looked around at other companies, they all required that I call an additional contractor for the cement work after they completed the repair. I would highly recommend this company.

I had a leak in my skimmer line and called a couple of Pool Repair companies only to be told they would be out in one to two weeks. After looking online and finding Leak Science, I submitted my info on their website and Ryan responded within an hour and 36 hours later my issue was fixed for a very reasonable price. Chris, who was the repairman Ryan sent, was very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend these guys for any pool service issues.

This company diagnosed and replaced an auto-filler in the pool. Through out the process, the owner (Ryan) and the crew (Bo and Dietrick) explained the process and methodically replaced the filler which involved cutting the concrete and fixing the deck after replacement. At the end of the process, the pool deck looks like nothing invasive had been done. Also, Ryan came and checked everything the day after the job was done. Very pleased with the job, would use them again and highly recommend them for any leak problems with the pool.

Ryan came out to assess the problem. Shut off one of the valves that was contributing to the leak with no charge. Scheduled for a full leak detection, which Bobby came out & pressure tested everything & was able to locate the leak. Chris then came out to break through the cool deck to get down to the pipes.He was so accurate in finding the pipes with hardly any mess. He was able to find & fix the leak & now my pool is back to normal. I also hired Leak Science to fix a sprinkler issue that I had & Chris did an outstanding job. Leak Science did an excellent job in locating my pool/spa leak.They took the time on the initial scheduling phone call to understand my concern taking detail notes for the work order. We spent 15 mins discussing the leak. Pricing for the services were discussed up-front so their were no surprises. In fact, because they were able to locate the leak so efficiently they only charged a discounted rate (50% off). They recommended options to remedy the issue and even provided feedback on how to patch the leak by DIY.I recently purchased the house and I was still learning my pool & spa equipment. Leak Science was very knowledgeable about my pool equipment and took the time to demonstrate each valves function and provided feedback on optimizing my pool and spa plumbing. They even helped label my valves.In short, Leak Science provided a high level of quality customer service. The service was professional, efficient, and fairly priced. Ryan was great was on time and very professional. Quoted 450 and it was worth it. Found 2 leaks which the first company charged me 100 and told me a visual problem but was not the problem of a 280 water bill. Ryan came out to look at a large crack in the bottom of our pool. The crack had drained the entire pool in two months while we were gone. After ordering a soils engineering report to address the stability of the soil under the pool, Ryan decided to repair it with carbon fiber staples and epoxy. Chris performed the repair, including acid washing and matching the pebble finish.What started as a three day repair ended up taking the better part of five days, but Ryan honored his original estimate. Overall, we couldnt be happier with the entire job and would recommend Leak Science to anyone needing pool leak repair.

Leak science is incredible! They were ultra responsive, professional, and amazingly helpful and that was just over the phone! When our pool maintenance company, as well as our landscape GC continuously kept telling me that the water I was losing in my pool was due to normal water loss during the summer, I was adamant that it was a leak. The Leak Science guys came out to Sedona within a few days and quickly found the leak and remedied it within 2 days (after we had to dig down 6 feet!). I have had a leak somewhere near my pool filler since I bought the home a few years ago. After filling the pool manually with the hose since then, I finally got fed up. I tried plumbers and seismic leak detection companies, but couldnt ever get a resolution. I found Leak Science online and spoke with Ryan, who I could tell right away was very knowledgable about this line of work. He quoted me a fair price for the detection service and we set an appointment. He came out for the appointment, determined where the leak was, and even offered me a favorable discount because the leak was apparently easy to find. He quoted me a fair price to repair the problem and today he came to do the work. The work was done carefully and even though I think he encountered more problems than he anticipated, he completed the job for the price quoted. I am so looking forward to having my auto filler for my pool turned back on again! Thanks Ryan!

I could not be happier with my experience with Leak Science!We purchased a cheap flip last year and have had to do more to it that we expected (of course). We thought we were out of the woods until we discovered that we definitely had a pool leak. I was bracing myself for a pain in the butt experience with a price tag to match. I couldnt have been more wrong.Initially, I had an appointment with a different company to come check for the leak, but they felt they were treating me like a number and not at all a priority - the appointment was 3 weeks out! So, while I was waiting, I got anxious and called Ryan at Leak Science and had an appointment within a week. He came out and told me what he thought the problem was and was honest with me about what he thought the problem would be - all ABS piping (50 year old pool) and possibly a crack below the skimmer box. My heart sank as I began to imagine the scope of this job and how bad it would be. My mind went to my wife being right for not wanting a pool and the possibility that we would just have to get rid of it (not that that option is cheap...).Then Ryan gave me an estimate. He also told me that he could add a dedicated vacuum line and an auto-fill so I wouldnt have to keep filling it with my hose all summer. Those add-ons, plus the complete re-plumbing of the pool, would cost me 1/3 of what I was bracing myself for! Plus, they could do it in just days!The project itself was a big deal. Chris, Bobby, and Bo worked their tails off. We were approaching it being too hot to drain the pool, so they bumped up the project schedule and even worked on a Sunday. I swear the guys worked a 15 hour day once or twice! All of the guys are nice and professional and great at explaining what they are doing and why. I never felt like I didnt know what was happening. They were fairly quiet, even when digging and busting up concrete. Whats great is that they dont subcontract out the finish work or anything - the team does demo, leak fixes, and all the finish work to wrap things up.Let me tell you, my pool looks amazing, works better than ever, and my pump and filter now actually hold a charge! I can run the skimmer and the vacuum at the same time, too! Im so incredibly happy with the work they did. If Im forced to list negatives, the only ones are that they left a little trash behind (not much - I honestly dont care. Ive had other contractors who did less leave far more trash behind) and the cooldeck texture isnt perfect (the color match is, though!).I hope I never need them again, but I am 100% certain that if I ever have leak issues again, Leak Science will be the ONLY company I contact. I recommend them to everyone who has pool leak issues without hesitation!

I called Leak Science and spoke to Ryan. I explained to him that I believed I had already found the location of the leak just by digging around the pool. Based on that, he offered a less expensive leak detection than the standard method to save me some money and got me on the calendar right away. When he got out to my house he thoroughly inspected the area and narrowed down where the leak was coming from and provided a couple options for repair for me to consider. He explained where the leak was occurring and most likely why. He confidently answered any and all of my questions before leaving to makes sure I was able to make a well informed decision. I highly recommend Leak Science. I called Ryan late yesterday afternoon and explained that our pool guys havent been able to prime the pump to our pool and thought there might be a leak somewhere. Despite having a busy schedule today, Ryan fit us in and was out here first thing this morning. By 11:30am the leak had already been located and repaired ( Ryan discovered that a giant hole had been punctured in the underground pipe ) and our pump is now back up and running. Ryan was courteous, helpful, professional, and knowledgable. We SO appreciate him coming out so quickly. His service fees were also very reasonable.

Started seeing the level of our pool drop slowly, but more than evaporation, over the past month. Couldnt find the leak. Called a couple of places. Was given a good price over competitors, so set up a time. Ryan sent his associate, Mr. Beck. He did a thorough job pressure testing lines and using dye test for leaks. All good, no leak. Finally, having to get in the water, checked main bottom drain and light fixture. Found leaks around light. Small, but meaningful over time. Plugged leaks with epoxy. Leaks slowed, but still not stopped. Called Leak Science again. They quickly set up time to come out and recheck, no extra cost. Turns out, some epoxy had pushed through with pressure from water and replacing light from before. Fixed again. Let dry. Came next day to put light fixture back in. Leak has stopped and pool level good, going on 2 weeks. Saved us tons of water, literally. Ours was a small and easy fix, but would recommend them again. Thank you.

We were panicked by a water bill that indicated we were using 90,000 gallons of water a month, with no leak in sight. My plumber isolated the problem to the pool (where there was still no obvious leak), and it was then I was very fortunate to find Ryan West of Leak Science (and his team, including Chris). He provided pricing up front, communicated efficiently via text regarding when hed be here for several visits over a period of 5 days, found and repaired the leaks, matched our old Pebble-Tec expertly, and got us up and running in time for out-of-town guests. Whew. We didnt think it was going to be possible. And being licensed and bonded, he guarantees his work for 2 years. Also gave us a referral for other pool-related services who was also terrific. I hope I dont need Ryan again, but hes my first call if we have any other leaks!

He confirmed it was not an underground leak (thank goodness), and located the source of the air leak - a cracked jandy valve. He cleaned up and upon settling the bill quoted an amount less than what he had originally quoted! I offered an amount in between citing that I dont mind paying/tipping for quality work. For over a month, I have been trouble shooting myself to locate a pool leak. Had a professional pool guy out and he said I just need to resurface the pool, pebble tec, etc., and the cost was over $10,000. That wasnt a solution for me. That was a sales tactic. I continued to google solutions and trouble shoot, but I was unable to figure it out. I googled leak detectors and saw great reviews on Leak Science LLC. I scheduled a visit; they were able to figure it out with the special equip and dyes they use. AND the plus is they can also make the repair. I have a 12,000 gallon pool that I put in when I bought my house recently. It wasn’t long before I realized my yard was a little damp. I was told by a few people that came out to check the yard that it was my main line to the pump had a crack in it. Being the pool and house are basically new I was very sceptical, so a friend of mine pointed me to Leak Science. Ryan came out and did his thing. It wasn’t long before Ryan told me that my main pool pipe was just fine, and it was an irrigation line that had been broken but the line was still putting out water. Literally he scanned the area and dug one hole! I’m pretty sure now that he might have just saved me a few hundred dollars that the other companies would have charged to fix the wrong issue. I highly recommend these guys if you really want to bypass the money grabbers and just want to get it fixed the first time!

Let me save you the time I wasted shopping around. The first and only leak detection company you need to call. The only other company who was willing to give me a quote sight unseen was double the price and had previously left algae in my pool. Of course, that was with the caveat that they might discover other issues since the quote was sight unseen and based only on my pictures of the single leak, but there were no other issues and they wont just make stuff up to inflate the bill. Perfect repair. Deck looks like the cement was never cracked open.

Ryan and his coworker AJ from Leak Science LLC performed an inspection of my pool renovation project today to determine why my replacement waterfall feature was not working. I called Ryan after reading many positive reviews about Leak Science explaining that I was seeing water accumulate near the pool when the pump was running. Obviously a leak somewhere. Bobby came out two days later and located the leak within about an hour or so. Chris came out two days later and after opening up the cool decking where the plumbing leak was. The leak was due to roots that caused a fitting to crack. Chris repaired it and we ran the pump overnight with no problems, Except that now my integrated spa was not running right. Chris came back the next day and Ryan was with him to look things over. the Spa problem was not related to the pool plumbing leak but Ryan diagnosed and fixed it and didnt charge me any more that what he had told me he would charge for the leak detection and repair. All in all a great experience with this company. Dont bother calling anyone else. These guys are good!! They know what they are doing and they are fair. BTW, Ryan is a Navy Veteran and he employs Vets as well. Being a Vet myself I found this a positive as well.

We just bought a house and the pump was blowing bubbles out into the pool so my pool guy (Good Neighbor Pool Service) recommended we call Ryan at Leak Science. He came out a couple days later to see what was going on and said he would need to do a pressure test but likely the suction line pipes were cracking. They came out a few days later and did the pressure test, confirmed what he thought, the old ABS pipes were brittle and cracking, thus losing suction and sucking air into the pump.At the same time, we were discussing adding a dedicated suction line for the pool vacuum so we dont have to keep taking it in and out of the skimmer. Adding this alone was going to be too expensive as we had already put a lot of money into the new house, but Ryan gave us a great price on fixing the old suction line and adding a new dedicated line at the same time while they already had everything dug up.They had to remove our paver pool deck and dig a new trench to replace the skimmer, suction line, and add a 2nd suction line. Bo was who did most of the work and he meticulously took pictures of our pavers before he started to remove them. When he put everything back together, you cant even tell they had ever been removed. I was expecting a bunch of broken pavers and everything to be uneven when they were done but it looks like no one had ever touched it. Whoever did the pebble patch work around the new suction line was also amazing, you cant even tell the dedicated suction line was newly added, it blends right in like it was always there.All this work was done in one week, leaving us full use of the pool the weekend before and the weekend after. They were great! Hopefully well never have to use them again (because who wants their pool to leak), but if we do have another leak, they will be the first people I call!
