My wife and I have a park model and the current AC and hest setup was from 1989. As we just moved in we didnt want to make a big replacement but it was necessary. We contacted AC by J and they have is a GREAT price and the customer service. Julie in the office was wonderful and out installers Zach and Charlie did a wonderful job. The initial 2 ton system turned out to be too wide but they took it back out (in & out by crane) and replaced with a similar model that fit perfectly. We are very happy with AC by J and would highly recommend to everyone.

Have been using AC by J for years and have had nothing but positive experiences.Now that they do Electrical as well, I am beyond amazed with their service and attention to detail. They discovered this electrical outlet in our bar area, that obviously caught fire in the last 24 hours shutting down power to all of our ice makers, wine fridge and pull out refrigerator drawers. We were very lucky that our house didn’t catch on fire.Blessed to have AC by J just a phone call away…

We had 3 visits from AC by J’s this week, 1 electrical inspection, 1 HVAC inspection and 1 plumbing inspection. All 3 inspections exceeded our expectations. Todd performed the electrical inspection and found numerous problems inside the distribution panel. Many of the common and grounds were loose. Todd made sure everything was the way it should be. Jacob performed the HVAC inspection and after a very thorough look, he found everything in good condition. Pedro rounded out with the plumbing. He recommended we replace the anode rod in our water heater, which we did and he also flushed our water heater and checked flow at each faucet. Very impressed with the service we received. We would recommend AC by J’s to anyone needing a complete household inspection and service done.Bob and Penny

In a word, disappointing. Delays, Lack of knowledge on installation processes, problems with York condenser, thermostat, and at various levels of installation. The install started at 9am and ended close to 7pm. I initially chose AC by J because we had a long-standing relationship, despite the AC quote costing $1000 more than a very good competitor with 3 times the experience. I am beyond disappointed in my decision. I do not have confidence that this unit was installed correctly or that it will not have continued problems moving forward. Despite the persistent issues met by the installation team, no manager or supervisor tried to reach out to me one time or visit to provide support to the team. Again, what a (costly) disappointment.-- Updates to prior review:AC by J reached out promptly to address and correct all previous concerns. They provided thorough, detail-oriented service to resolve each issue, demonstrating a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. I am very pleased with their solutions and appreciate their fairness in offering future services to maintain a positive relationship. We had an AC unit put on by AC by J four years ago. We have the membership so that every six months they come out and check our unit. Every time the technicians come out they are super professional, very friendly and extremely thorough.They have never tried to sell me more stuff just to make a sale. They are super professional. I have referred them out three times and have even referred them to my son and his wife. I trust them.They were out this morning to check the unit, and Matt was our technician. He was absolutely fantastic! I don’t know how they do it, but AC by J seems to have nailed down the market on incredible employees. Their technicians are always great, and Matt was exceptional today! I highly recommend A C & J for your plumbing and (air conditioning needs) Today, Brandon came out and added a valve to speed up the hot water in the kitchen and replace a hose Bibb in the backyard. No more leaks. In the past, I have used A C & J to replace 3 toilets, and replace my water heater with a tankless water heater. They have always provided excellent service, have knowledgeable technicians and provided a fair price. In an emergency, they are incredibly responsive. I wouldn’t use any other Company.

I’m updating my review after today’s experience. Today my ac was not cooling after a tune up last weekend; I called and AC by J had the same technician out in an hour. He spent a good amount of time cleaning our condensation lines and even took a video and pictures. After spending almost an hour and a half making sure we had our ac up and running properly, he didn’t even charge us. Aside from all of that he was super kind and has excellent customer service. I’ll be recommending AC by J to everyone I know; and using them for all future AC needs. The technicians name was Wes.

Wow just had an appointment with Matthew of AC by J . He was very prompt and called before he came over. He checked out our air conditioner and heater and gave us some recommendations to make our units run more efficient. We were very happy to have joined their membership and have them come back 4 times a year to make sure everything stays in working order! We truly recommend AC by J. Honest, thorough, professional. I love that they take pictures so you can actually see what they’re talking about. I asked for a list of what Parts are getting old and worn so I can replace them before they break down in the middle of Arizona’s Excruciating heat. I was shown pictures of items that obviously look very worn down. I will have this company come back and replace those parts as a preventative measure. I appreciated the pictures that were shown to me as it allows me to understand What’s going on up there instead of just taking the mechanics word for it. So, it was on labor day weekend. On Sunday at 4:00 oclock and our AC decided to stop blowing cool anymore. We are fulltime home care givers for my daughter of special needs. Needless to say I was in a situation to find a repair service ASAP. So I hit the website and made several calls for help. 2 companies did not respond for 24-36 hours. 1 was booked for 12 hours out. UnderstandableACbyJ said they were about 4 hours out. So I book a spot. Low and behold ACbyJ made it happen within an hour. Daniel was our A/C service technician, very polite and very knowledgeable on our A/C system that was installed byAC by J four years ago. Daniel found a problem with the air intake that was actually choking the air handler!Three other AC by J service technicians never said anything about the problem nor the install technicians.From my understanding the air handler is getting choked due to not enough volume of air is getting to the air handler!Daniel and a manager? Are to be out next Wednesday morning to look into the problem.I highly recommend asking for Daniel!!!!

Kazir Miller was very thorough with the service on the two units. He tried to clear the condensate drains on both units but they were stopped up with dirt and debris. We agreed to installation of two roof mounted drains to bypass the obstructions. Photos are enclosed with the final reports on each unit. We used Owner Furnished PVC pipe and a credit was allowed.

( they wanted to charge me 400.00 to replace a diverter on my tub spout. When asked why if the part at Home Depot was under 20.00 and Lowe’s was under 22.00 is their labor 375.00 per hour? The guy got upset at me and muttered some gibberish under his breath a slammed out of my home, I mean slammed out! Still have not heard from a supervisor I guess they don’t care. Beware of using them!!!!!

JD came out to inspect my AC, which was a challenging one as it requires at least a 32 foot ladder to inspect the AC unit located on the roof. I was originally told my service call would be between 12 noon and 5 PM and very quickly received a follow up call letting me know that JD would work later in the day and he may arrive around five which is when he arrived and then he continued to work until 7 PM. Communication is key to me and those details were much appreciated! I was at work and arranged for a friend to be at my home to allow access and at this point I am thrilled with JD‘s performance, thorough inspection and follow up. Seems things are a bit of a mess from the AC instillation in 2019. JD is working diligently with photographs and documentation to present to his boss to give me an appropriate bid for the much more than I expected work repair to be done in the attic. 🤞🏻

I’ve had my home serviced any AC by Jay over the years and just during a hot spell in July had an outage. It’s bad enough not to have AC but when you are trying to sell your house, it’s a deal breaker. I explained the situation and they advised they’d have a technician out by 5pm. That was acceptable. But within 20 minutes, they notified me that they had a technician near my home and could have him over in 10 minutes. The repair was simple, just a capacitor that failed. We had AC on right away. I appreciate that they take care of regular customers. When they do come for maintenances, they will point out potential points of failure but there’s never a hard sell.

Matthew was out again today to replace our motor which was under the warranty and part needed to be ordered. He was polite, professional, respectful of my home and well spoken. He will be our technician going forward hopefully. We did sign back up for the maintenance plan and we did so because of Matthew and the service he did provide here.I couldnt give the 5 stars that I wanted to and that was not due to any fault on Matthews part what so ever. We did go from 3 stars to 4. The office communication side things do need some improvement and to where calls and messages are routed so the correct department can communicate with the customer and avoid additional frustration when one of your air conditioning units is out, the bigger one. My hope in the future is to be able to restore the business side of things and relationship going forward with the hope for those areas which need a bit of improvement exceed what service in thr eay of communication they can provide. Nothing worse tha when youre left in the dark and have no idea when the repairs will be complete or when parts will arrive.I appreciate the efforts that Matthew displayed here today, he is truly an asset to this company. We look forward to having him return in 6 months for the units maintenance plan. Thanks Matthew, we wanted to let you know we appreciate all you did to get us up and running in Arizonas intense heat. We know its your job but your actions display you enjoy what you do and it reflects the dedication and pride you project for the company you represent. I had a tune-up service for both A/C units. The technician (Emmanuel) was courteous, personable and undeniably reliable and trustworthy. I was astounded by how thorough he was in evaluating the units and clearly explaining to me what was going on with them, including pictures, et al. Case in point, one of the units is over 30 years old and yet he reported all his checks of overall unit effectiveness (e.g., cooling inside ambient air by a delta of 20 degrees), refrigerant level, electrical components still functioning in spec, etc., were essentially good. He showed me pics of how the blower fan and inner coil could use some deep cleaning, but other than that was obviously not inventing repair business. The other unit (14 years old) wasn’t doing as well, and he ensured I understood where the issues were with it (e.g., showing me the electrical reading of where the capacitor had faded below acceptable +/- spec... I had him replace it then) so I can start planning for either repairs that will probably be needed soon or a full replacement. I had the tune-up service done by AC by J because when the older unit failed last July, they provided excellent service and earned my trust then (diagnosing the breakdown to just a blown fuse instead of trying to sell me on a full replacement because of the unit’s age; instead, the tech’s eval last July showed everything else was still doing okay, which yesterday’s tune-up corroborated).

I would highly recommend this business they were professional and very helpful. Their pricing was fair and their communication was very good about the problem. They were also not pushy in selling product, but let you know if you needed anything they were there. My tech was Freddy Perez he was great he was great about looking over system and recommending a fix. They call you before they fix anything explained the price and the repair. My tech was Freddie Perez and he was great.

We have been using AC by J for years because they are simply the best in the business. They are extremely knowledgable, honest and always stand behind their work. We refer them to everyone we know. We have used them on our primary home, our second home and most recently my parents home. The techs that have come out for diagnosing our problem are always well trained and experts in their field. They have always gone the extra mile to solve our issues in a cost effective and efficient manner. We also use them for plumbing and electric. Its great to have people you can trust for all of these calls.

Trustworthy, professional, elite. So I’m a skeptic, I always think I’m going to get ripped off and I’m a former real estate agent. I think quality is important and worth the money. That’s AC by J. They’ve installed a new water heater, a new AC unit, they fixed a plumbing problem, my lovely dad created, and call or text me for my summer and winter maintenance of the AC. They send reminders of their appointments that I have with them. Then they send a picture of the repair person before he shows up. They come to the door and look professional, clean, and trustworthy. I like quality and would pay for it. They have always been affordable, fair and inexpensive. They don’t make a decision of how much you’re going to pay in their mind. They have set prices that you can look at before you make a repair or installation. You should definitely use AC by J. They’re going to do a great job. They are professional and whatever they fix or install you will never have to worry about. Good luck!
