    Ive used John Padilla Plumbing for a lot of routine preventative maintenance and have always been satisfied with the quality of their work and their level of professionalism. They recently came out to replace a faulty tankless water heater and install a series of pressure regulator valves at my house. The technician that came out, Brandon Buss, was incredible. He was very knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, and worked thoroughly and efficiently. It was obvious that he took pride in his work and I will request Brandon for any future work that I need!

    Excellent staff -- responsive, on-time, and comprehensive! They sent out Brandon to assess our property and we were told that our water pressure regulator was broken and had led to an expansion in a part of our water tank. Both needed replacing -- and JPs pricing was competitive, so we opted to hire them. Our day-of tech was Jose and he did great work. We were very happy to have called John Padilla Plumbing and would highly recommend them!

    Lendale with Padilla plumbing did an excellent job for us today reseating our toilet and fixing the flange that was improperly fitted/seated 5 years ago by a tile company that redid our bathroom. Lendale was prompt, courteous, and very professional. We can highly recommend them!!!!!

    Lendale came to assess an odor I thought was coming from the kitchen sink. I hadn’t seen any mold and he looked around the sink to assess what might be occurring. He discovered this black growth and suggested that it wasn’t likely a plumbing problem and suggested having a specialist look at it. It was a dangerous mold that was growing and required mold remediation. He was friendly, prompt, and honest.

    I am very glad I contacted John Padilla Plumbing. Lenard, the technician sent to my house was very professional and knowledgeable. I initially called because I could smell a pungent sewer smell from one of my bathrooms. I thought I needed a simple hydro jetting. However, Lenard took the time to detect a leak and was able to give me multiple quotes the same day. I will definitely be using their services for all future plumbing needs.

    Anthony and Noel installed 3 new toilets and replaced 2 leaky spigots for me yesterday. To say I was impressed with their work is putting it mildly!     I cant recommend John Padilla strongly enough! They handled an urgent issue for us when our water heater broke and flooeded our garage. Not only did they come out the same day to inform me of my options. When my original plumber couldnt do the job for us, they were able to come the same day as my original plumber to install the hot water heater. Huge shout-out to Robert Maas for being the man to get the hot water heater installed and being a hero for my wife!I also had an issue with a new faucet in my guest bathroom. I called John Padilla plumbing and the guy came before the afternoon window, figured out what the problem was and fixed it on the spot. He also tweaked my powder room toilet handle, which wasnt flushing right which was an added bonus. His name is Brandon Buss and hes also a great plumber like Robert.These guys are solid, know their stuff, and meet urgent needs...even during the Holidays! Dont know how they do it, but Im frickin impressed!

    We called John Padilla Plumbing based on past excellent experience with their team. In this case, we had some odd sounds coming from the fill valve in our toilet. Michael and Noel showed up on time, were both easy to talk to and knowledgeable, and quickly diagnosed and repaired the issue. I have no hesitation in recommending them and using them again.

    I was just released from the hospital yesterday, when I had a plumbing emergency that needed to be dealt with immediately. Had no real functionality in my arms as both had been broken approximately a week before.I have to tell you that I was so impressed with John Padilla Plumbing, and more specifically, their plumber Michael Maduro. He was the kindest most professional plumber that Ive ever worked with in all my quite a few years on this planet! I told him as he was leaving after petting my dog who was anxious for kisses, that he and John Padilla Plumbing had my business for life.They took my emergency situation seriously, so much so that they fit me in and scheduled me where I was attended to within an hour.You cant go wrong with Michael Maduro and John Padilla Plumbing.

    Updating my review again because the company did come out and remedy the situation. Giving back 3 stars because even though it had been 2 years since the original work the GM called me and was himself very upset. You can see the difference in how the pipes were initially installed to how they look now. It has an appropriate slope to the sewer, seems to be attached with new hardware and all is well. I’m still not happy that this cost me a lot of time and stress but the quick response and willingness to come out right away to correct this is very much appreciated. I was not expecting them to do that tbh.Updating this review to 1 star because I’ve now had to go back under the house to see what was happening. Turns out the company I thought so highly of used the same old rusty brackets the old pipes were attached to and now they started to break and the pipe is sagging to the point of drainage not working properly. Installing a new bracket seems like something you shouldn’t even have to ask about. This is just plain lazy and shows a complete lack of care in my opinion. I definitely will not be calling them again.Javier and Fernando replaced some 75 year old cast iron drainage pipes on our house in North Park. We have had other plumbers come out and give us the run around or over promise what they could do, but these guys gave it to us straight and did the work as promised. I thought the pricing was fair, their communication was clear and informative and they didn’t try to upsell us on anything we didn’t need. I will definitely use them again and will recommend John Padilla Plumbing to anyone that needs a plumber.

My washer hook-ups are good to go, and they took care to make sure the dry wall was replaced and left for an easy spackle repair.     Jose showed up bright and early today ready to tackle my poorly working shower faucet. He was a good listener and then showed me pics of what he was talking about as I know very little about plumbing. He explained my options as to how to fix the problem.     I recently had to replace my water tank heater and I chose John Padilla Plumbing for the job. I was impressed by their professionalism and efficiency. They offered me a free in-home consultation on the same day I called them. Dave, the consultant, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all of my questions and helped me get a fair price. He also recommended me to switch to a tankless heater, since I have a water filter/softener system. I agreed and I am very happy with the result.The next day, they sent a crew of three experts - Juan N., Alex R., and Leo - to install the new heater. They did an exquisite job. The new tank was perfectly situated on the wall and the pipe work was phenomenal. They showed great skill and attention to detail. Arnold Valadez gave us an affordable/reasonable price quote on my water leak issues. Hes very friendly, courteous & gave us some list of items to buy at Fergusons Plumbing. Hes very approachable and was able to give us ideas on our issues and how it is supposedly be done. Five Stars for him for being honest too on our issues.The services were done by Anthony Lopez and Daniel Cisneros(both were friendly, accommodating, skillful, knowledgeable & you can ask them on anything regarding our water leak.     We had an emergency water leak in our backyard at 2pm on a Friday afternoon. It required shutting the water off to the entire house. To make matters worse, we had an appointment we were supposed to be at.Luckily, I made the right call - to John Padilla.Brandon to the rescue!     Recently had to replace a shower faucet that had seen better days and was hard to turn on/off. Called John Padilla Plumbing at 9am on a Tuesday and they scheduled a technician to come out at 1pm that day to give me a quote. (The faucet was not leaking so it wasnt an immediate issue.) Juan Navarro and Alejandro arrived right at 1pm. Juan explained in detail my options and we decided to replace the valve itself. As the previous home owner had grouted the valve directly to the tile with no faucet plate, it would involve cutting through the tile to get to the valve and replace it, which I expected. Juan quoted a price which was inline with other estimates I had and we scheduled the work for that Friday afternoon. They arrived as scheduled and had the job done in under 4 hours. The shower handle now turns so easily my wife said she feels she could just look at it and it would turn. Happy.In addition to being highly professional both Juan and Alejandro were very personable and great to work with..although they did all the work. Would highly recommend.

    I called John Padilla Plumbing due to what was a possible gas leak due to SDG&E’s technician. At first the woman on the phone said the earliest they could come out was the following day however I stated it was very important that I have someone come out that day. She said no problem and placed me on hold for just a couple of minutes- when she came back on the line she said they would have their next available technician come out that day. I thought that was really great service! The technicians came out within a couple of hours and they were amazing from start to finish- Manny and Sam. It was a relief to have someone explain everything thoroughly, I never felt confused or duped about the repairs that would have to be done or the cost. They were professional, on-time, and friendly. The repairs took multiple days and meeting with the City inspector (even the inspectors were impressed by the quality of their repairs). This was because Manny and Sam didn’t just repair the damages they also included preventative maintenance. If I need plumbing services or anyone I know needs such services, I would 100% recommend John Padilla Plumbing- especially Manny and Sam! I feel safe and well knowing they took care of my family and I. Thank you guys! I really appreciate everything you did!

    We recently had an emergency water leak in our 8 unit condo complex that affected multiple units. We contacted John Padilla Plumbing to help us fix the leak.Sam Balladres showed up in 30 minutes. He was very clear and communicative on pricing and what he needed to do to find the leak. Within a few hours he had found the leak, cut open the drywall, fixed a cracked pipe, and made sure the water was circulating properly in the complex.Sam really saved the day for us and made sure the issue was fixed quickly.     These guys fixed a huge water main leak at my house.     I woke up to water to in two places in our garage. Padilla plumbing was recommended to me by contractor. They sent Julio within one hour of my call and he quickly diagnosed not one but two problems - water heater leaking and two valve leaks. Thankfully Padilla has a great water heater replacement plan that includes returning the heater that is under warranty, picking up the new one and installing. The whole project was done in 4 hours. Next Julio fixed the two leaks and cleaned up. I could not be happier with timeliness, professionalism and workmanship that was completed by Julio. I will definitely use Padilla Plumbing again.

    The minute I spotted the water mark on my ceiling I knew I needed to act quickly. To make it worse, it’s 3:00 pm on a Friday. A friend gave me the name of John Padilla Plumbing so I made the call. Within 2 hours their technician, Jose Ponce, was at our door and ready to find the leak. My husband and I could not have been more pleased with Jose! We immediately recognized that he is a true professional that cares about his work. He protected the surrounding area, made the necessary cuts in the ceiling, repaired the leak, then cleaned up and left the area spotless. This all in a 3 hour timeframe.     Wanted to personally take the time and share my experience with John Padilla Plumbing, Especially with Oliver G. The plumber that came to check my water heater that was leaking.The initial contact from John Padilla was prompt and quick after I put in my request that my water heater was leaking. They immediately called within 30 minutes to confirm an appt for later in the day.They advised the plumber will call upon arrival. The plumber Oliver G. Was on point! They even catered to the time I was able to be home since I was still at work when I called in the issue. Oliver was right on time and called as he arrived.He inspected my water heater and knew right away the unit needed to be replaced. He got on the phone and called it in right away. He was able to coordinate with the office right there and then. He went and picked up a new unit and came back to replace it. For my previous experiences in the past for repairs, it will have to be rescheduled but Not TODAY!Oliver explained in detail prior, during and after install. Such a big relief for a long hectic week and to worry not having hot water for Mother’s Day was the worst thing to think about.     Angel and Juan provided top-notch service, above and beyond the call of duty, replacing the water valves for a new washing machine to be installed. This wasn’t the simple valve replacement that I can do.     I normally dont post reviews, but felt compelled to after having Javier and his bro Sam come out to repair the hot water slab leak in my kitchen. Javier was great. He came out to confirm the leak for the HOA, was here when the leak detection service was here, and completed the job in one day with his brother Sam. He took the time to answer all my questions while being friendly and considerate while I was very worried sick about the repair. He assured me that he would treat my home like it was his and he did. No dust or mess left anywhere after they were done. He and Sam did the whole job in one day and only had the water off to the bldg for 4 hours instead of the anticipated 8 hours. They did a great job and I was very pleased with their work product and professionalism. Look out Bill Howe!

From my initial meeting with Brandon, who provided an estimate for the work to be done, to his completion of the project, I could not have been more pleased or impressed.     Second time using them and Im always super pleased with them. They can usually come out within a day or two and perform the service quickly, professionally and cleanly. They helped determine whether a leak in my garage was from the roof or some plumbing related issue and have been really helpful in sending videos and photos of the damage which they quickly determined to be roof related.     Randy was great. I called on a Saturday because our water softener was leaking and instead of just coming out and getting the $350 off-hours fee he called me and had me explain the issue and send him photos. He assured me it wasnt an emergency and said hed come on monday for the normal rate. When he did come he explained the issue perfectly and showed me the measurements that allowed me to understand the exact issue.     Thank you to Julio Valle from John Padilla Plumbing, Inc. After I had a lukewarm shower, I called Padilla Plumbing based on their 5 star reviews on various platforms. They had an opening the next afternoon. The gentleman on the phone gave me an estimate for replacing the water heater if that was necessary & told me their service charge would go toward any repair that they did for me. The next day, a gentleman called to say the plumber was running late & would miss the time window. What would I like to do? I opted to have the plumber come the same day if he could do it in the daylight. Julio arrived about 20 minutes later! Yay!! Julio was very professional & courteous. He tested the in-house faucets (upstairs & down) for water temperature. Then we went down to the water heater in the garage. He adjusted the temp on one of the heating elements as it was much lower than the other one. Again, he tested water temps upstairs & the water was already warmer!! This seems to be a well-run, responsive plumbing company that I will call again when needed. Highly recommend.

    These guys were absolutely great from scheduling to execution. We woke up in a panic because our water heater had been leaking from the bottom all night. We called that morning and they were at our door with a brand new water heater that afternoon. Julio, the technician, was super friendly and very attentive to the work that we wanted done.     Really great company. I called spoke to a really nice lady she was able to get me an appointment 2 hours after I called. When the plumber RICARDO showed up really nice professional he explained to me the issue and how he was able to fix it. He answered all my question I had in regards to the issue. Him and his partner fixed the problem in about 15 minutes very fast I saw him double check for any gas leaks. He fixed the pipe going into the gas oven now its up and running again.     John Padilla was very timely in sending Edgar to our home to repair an emergency drain clog. We just bought the house, so we were very concerned when both our kitchen and bathroom drains were backing up.     This is my third home renovation, and Ive used multiple other plumbers. This was, by far, my best experience. Javier is the absolute best. They do good work, are very courteous, professional, and punctual. Ive had other contractors who tell me, we dont do that, when the job gets hard, but Javier is the opposite. He finds a way to help me, even with the hard stuff (like getting heaver washers and dryers upstairs and through small doors, and fitting shower surrounds to crooked walls). They also do small things to go above and beyond expectations. We purchased a new toilet that didnt fit the space of the old one. When we figured out that the new toilet wouldnt work, Javier removed it, packed it nicely back in the box and lifted it back into our truck so we could return it. Just little things like that are so considerate and helpful. I will never use another plumbing company. Thank you so much!

    I called John Padilla Plumbing right after my Tennant had called me saying that the shower turned on by itself and won’t turn off. Alex answered the phone right away and was very helpful.     Just my luck to discover a leak at 5pm on Friday, called multiple plumbers and left messages. Randy at John Padilla Plumbing was the first to pick up and said he could be here in 20 minutes. He came out and told me “It’s after hours rates but I’ll work as fast as I can.” He fixed the leak and checked the water pressure all in under an hour. Very pleased with his work and he was a very personable guy as well. Will be saving his number for the future.

    I had a clogged drain for my dishwashing machine at the restaurant. I was in panic no company would show up kept getting cancelation So I called John Padilla plumbing and they sent out Fernando and Ernest really quick on a short notice.     This company really knows how to provide great service! It was easy to book online, my appointment was confirmed through text, I received reminder voicemail, and then about 30 minutes before arrival, I got another call confirming I would be around. I gave a note to the person calling and unlike many companies, it actually got relayed to the plumbing team. Then they showed up on time! They were very friendly and helpful as I walked through the items I needed fixed, and then they gave me a quote using their app. They went out for supplies and came back and finished all the work within a couple hours of the appointment start time.     Ricardo deservers praise for helping me out today.The main plumbing line in my home was clogged, and backed up sewage was pouring out into our bathtub and bathroom. Not a pretty scene.He was completely transparent in communicating what was needed for the repair, and also acted as a liaison between my property management company, which was greatly appreciated.When Ricardo arrived, he was quickly able to assess the situation, and determine what needed to be done.I work from home, had some meeting to attend to during the repair, and was not disturbed once, while my plumbing was being worked on (huge points for that).I appreciate his autonomously, professionalism, mindfulness and knowledge/skill to fix my situation.He was able to clean out our clogged line in a reasonable amount of time and fix additional multiple units plumbing problems without them realizing they had a problem.Ricardo is the hero we need, but dont deserve.I would be happy to refer Ricardo and John Padilla Plumbing after my experience today (as long as all your employees are as awesome as Ricardo...)!

    You know its going to be a rough day when youre a renter and your bathtub backs up for the third time in a week. You know its a rougher day when you find out that its because your apartments old piping is deteriorating. Mercifully, my landlord called Padilla, because they were top notch, extremely fast, and excellent communicators.Not only did they repair the damaged shower piping and replace the shower in general, they also came back a month later and did systematic, rapid repairs of all the kitchen sinks in the unit. This coudve been exhausting and overwhelming, but the kindness, efficiency, and good humor of Ricardo and Edgar made it so much better of an experience.I find theyre upfront, honest, and wonderfully reliable people.     Professional front office and friendly too. I had a number of different updates done on a 41 year old home I purchased. Over the past 15 months John Padilla plumbing team Matthew, David, Juan, Julio have come to help with a varity of updates such as Matthew restored the central heater and it has run great and problem free since the repairs,, Juan installed a new gas line allowing for a switch from all electric stove to gas. Big thumbs up! Very happy with this change. David updated all the angle stops. Woo hoo no more leaky valves. My water bill should reflect this improvement. Juan installed the new kitchen faucet. As you can tell a lot of work has been completed by the plumbing team at John Padilla. They always arrived on time, did excellent work and always answered all of my questions about their work and pointed out the problems they observed and recommended a reasonable approach to fixing the issue.     We had been having problems with our furnace since last winter. I had three HVAC companies come out and none of them could figure out the issue. I was referred to this company by the manufacture of my furnace and after I explain the situation they sent us their most experienced technician, Matthew Getz. He performed an extensive 2.5 hour diagnostic and found the problem yet only charged their standard $89 diagnostic fee. He provided me a quote and the price was very reasonable so I went ahead and did the repair. After he installed the new part he did another full how do you affection to ensure everything was working properly. He also he also noticed they were many items that were not done to code by the original installer and asked if we wanted a quote and I said yes. A few days later we had an issue again and he came out immediately made some adjustments and also found some other items they were incorrectly installed and fix those as well. He said that there was no charge since it was part of their warranty of service. It turned out that the original installer did a completely incorrect job and was certainly not done to code the three other companies a came also meddled with it and Matt corrected absolutely everything. Now that the furnace is working properly I have scheduled another appointment to have them come out and bring everything up to code. I highly recommend this company for the professionalism and thoroughness that other companies simply won’t do.

So plumbing is a constant need and big expense ( meaning fix what is needed and not what you think it needs (upsale)) and frequent repairs are needed.
