Discovering a tenfold increase in your water bill due to a hidden leak beneath your sidewalk slab can be a tough pill to swallow. I found myself in this frustrating situation and, based on their glowing reputation, I reached out to Clifford & Sons Plumbing and Gas. I was promptly returned a call by Carson, the business owner, who recommended a couple of reliable leak detection companies. Once the leak was pinpointed, I called back and Carson was quick to respond. He was on-site immediately to assess the problem, offered a reasonable quote and took care of obtaining the necessary public work permits. He also liaised with a reliable colleague to handle the removal of the concrete. Carson then assigned Ricky, Francis, and another skilled team member to repair the leak and set up the new water meter box, which was supplied by the San Diego city inspector. Post-repair, the concrete removal team was back to replace the removed slab. Throughout the process, Carson and his team maintained excellent communication via calls, texts, and emails, always keeping me updated on when teams would arrive at my place. A sincere thank you to Carson, Ricky, Francis, and the rest of the team. Its a joy to be able to count on such consummate professionals who work in a traditional, respectful manner. Im happy to update that following my encounter with the rookie plumber, Dimitri, Ricky stepped in the following day. Ricky was both proficient and well-informed, effectively resolving the drainage issue without the need for part replacement. I applaud Ricky for his excellent work. Its worth suggesting that new recruits should be trained properly in plumbing skills and customer communication. We initially contacted them to address a weak water flow in one of our bathroom faucets. Initially, he incorrectly suggested that the water heater was the issue, which didnt make sense as all other faucets in the house worked perfectly. He then proceeded to clean the small part beneath the faucet of sediments and the flow returned to normal. However, while working, he applied pressure to the drainage, causing it to clog. He managed to fix one issue but created another, then suggested that we had to replace the drainage, which was functioning perfectly before. He then asked for $165 for cleaning a small faucet piece. However, I appreciated the swift response from the company and Rickys professional approach. Ricky not only fixed the faucet issue but also rectified the drainage problem caused earlier. This experience has made me realize the importance of a competent plumber like Ricky. He turned a potentially negative experience into a positive one and Im now confident to call upon this company for future plumbing issues in San Diego.

Our main waste drain in the basement had a backup. We got an estimate from another company, which suggested a complete overhaul of our main cast iron pipe, including digging up the street, removing part of our porch, and replacing the pipe up to the foundation wall. This service was going to cost us over $12000. Fortunately, our neighbor suggested we reach out to Clifford & Sons Plumbing and Gas. We were astonished when Mike, from Clifford & Sons, arrived promptly, making him the quickest response out of the five plumbing services we attempted to contact. Upon inspecting the pipe, Mike immediately identified the issue - roots from a nearby tree were clogging the pipe. He quickly located the access valve on the floor, brought in his equipment, and within half an hour, had our water flowing smoothly again. He even showed us the tree roots that were causing the problem. We were utterly relieved when the bill came to only $240, saving us nearly $12000 and sparing us a ton of stress. It seemed too good to be true, but it wasnt. Mikes honesty, detailed explanation of the process, expert knowledge, and swift action were truly remarkable. I cannot praise him enough. Hes now saved in my speed dial and I wouldnt hesitate to highly recommend him. Its truly reassuring to know that there are still honest, good workers out there. I cant recommend highly enough this plumbing service for all your plumbing needs. Carson and Francis were superb from beginning to end! They were quick to respond, skilled, and above all, truthful. I had previously received an exorbitant quote from another plumber to clear our kitchen sink, which supposedly needed a special tool. However, these guys managed to fix the issue in less than 10 minutes for a small charge. Dont look anywhere else, these guys are terrific! From now on, I will only entrust my plumbing issues to them.

Just got my primary sewage pipe fixed up. Kaleb, along with his crew, managed to complete the job in a couple of days. After the inspection, Kaleb is even planning to return and rectify a few things that i pointed out. Everyone was really friendly and took the time to answer all the questions i had with patience. They made sure to explain everything to me. This plumbing service is incredibly tidy and organized. i usually lay down old sheets on my carpet whenever i have work done. They laid down their own floor covering over that. Surprisingly, they also cleaned up my sheets when they finished, which i didnt anticipate. i would definitely recommend this plumbing service. Their rates are reasonable, unlike another service i hired a few years back in san diego.

I had all the plumbing systems overhauled and fitted in an old house. This included swapping out an ancient cast iron gas boiler with just one floor vent and no ducts. francis, kaleb, and their crew started from ground zero, they liaised with the authorities to make sure it met the standards and installed the necessary three air returns in the dirt basement crawlspace. They set up a new air conditioning system, thermostat, a new on-demand water heater to replace the old one that was no longer compliant. Lastly, they installed hookups for a washing machine and dryer. They also came back to finish the gas dryer connection once the appliances were delivered. The crew did an absolutely fantastic job. They guided me through the process and managed all the multiple layers of requirements to complete the job correctly. The fact that they could handle everything from gas lines to plumbing and brought in an associated electrician meant the job was well synchronized. This was a substantial project. It took time. But I anticipated that. The costs were reasonable for a job well done. i wholeheartedly endorse their work. i am a very content customer.

Ive had multiple positive encounters with them. For instance, when my water heater broke down and began flooding my basement, I immediately contacted Carson who guided me through the process of shutting off the water supply to the faulty heater before promptly arriving at my home to address the issue. Similarly, when we experienced a basement flood due to a faulty submersible pump, I reached out to Clifford & Sons Plumbing and Gas early in the morning. Francis was at my residence within the hour, drained the accumulated water within the next hour, and replaced the defective pump in a matter of minutes. These experiences have solidified my trust in their abilities and services.

In addition, he installed a new cut-off valve and meter box. He also took the initiative to check the water pressure, identifying that it was quite high even with the leak present. Carson suggested installing a PRV, and considering his expertise as a master plumber and the logic behind his advice, we agreed to have him do it. Carson and his assistant, Mike, managed to complete the work in just a few hours, even working through heavy rain under a tarp. Woke up one morning to find our water heater leaking in the basement. I contacted a plumbing company because i was experiencing backups in both of my bathrooms. when francis, the technician, arrived, we discovered that the issue was with the main line. he performed a video inspection to determine the root of the problem. the line, made out of clay, was filled with roots and had damage in a few places. the plumbing company presented me with two options: a liner or pipe bursting to replace the pipes. we chose the pipe bursting option, which turned out to be a more affordable and effective solution. this required digging two holes and installing a new pipe from one to the other. after they finished, they covered up the dirt as if nothing had ever happened. now, with my new pipes in place, im very pleased with the work kaleb and francis did.
