This team at Discount Plumbing San Diego was extremely responsive and was able to get a plumber assigned to my project within 1 hour. They were super efficient and kind.The plumber (Josh) inspected the unit with my tenants and confirmed that all plumbing was in good working order and that the dishwasher appliance was likely at fault for the failure to drain function (vs the plumbing). Josh and I had a thorough follow up call (as I was not at the visit) and he was helpful and very nice. I would highly recommend this team and will call them again in the future!

Cant say enough good things about them.Our toilets and drains clogged up over the weekend. We called after not getting a return call from a different plumbing company. I was surprised when Monique answered at noon, as I expected at lunch time, I would have to leave a message. She was quite helpful and did a great job answering our questions. We scheduled a service call and were thrilled to hear that it would be same day. Joseph called a short time later to ask if he could come earlier than scheduled.He did a great job! After the initial walk through inside he then got to work on the outside and under the house. Joseph did a great job explaining his findings and describing what he recommended be done.The price quote was well under what we were expecting to have to pay so needless to say we approved on the spot and he was done in under an hour.Highly recommend Discount Plumbing San Diego!

We have used Discount plumbing several times for our rentals and our home and Hector is the best, always arrives on time and fixes the issues without fail! And there prices are pretty good. Most importantly I have never had to wait all day for them to arrive and they give you a 2 hour window and they are true to that time frame,and the work is always done perfectly and they leave the place clean after wards.

Cory and Joseph were fantastic! They were super prompt, very quick, and most of all- honest. They helped troubleshoot my water heater and got it back up and running. They also gave estimates of what could potentially be a deeper problem, while acknowledging my warranty and encouraging to seek that- even though it meant them not getting a future, potential job. They didn’t charge me for the trouble shooting as a courtesy, but I already will be needing a different service and thanks to their transparency, will be using them for all my future needs!

Mission Accomplished. I was so very surprised when after calling to book the service, Jose showed up like 10 min later! Its the fastest arrival Ive ever experienced. I needed to replace my non working garbage disposal. Usually I would do it myself but this time I simply couldnt remove a bracket. So I called Discount Plumbing and was very happy to hear they answered right away. Jose informed me right away why I was having a problem removing it. We settled on a price and he got to working right away. Hes an army veteran who served tours in Iraq and I could tell that he wasnt going to finish the job until everything was perfect. His work ethic was fantastic and I felt very comfortable with him. I had to work on the project with him due to some issue with plumbing code but he stayed to make sure my work was nice and good. Thank you very very much Jose for all your hard work and for your service. Wish we could give you guys 6 stars.

I had an exceptional experience with Discount Plumbing! My previous plumber was non-responsive and unavailable for weeks to replace my bathroom vanity and toilet. To my delight, Jose was available to come out the very next day! Jose was communicative, professional, timely, and efficient in every way. At the same time, he was also very thorough and took the time to answer all of my plumbing questions related and unrelated to vanity/toilet replacement. Ive had Discount Plumbing out to my home to handle several complex plumbing related issues. Tinas a breath of fresh air when she answers the phone! Harrison came out for my shower, kitchen faucet replacement, replacing my water pressure valve and install of a whole home water softener (so GLAD he recommended that; my dishes actually come out with NO water spots from the dishwasher for the first time in years!!) The company is very responsible, professional, and prompt. Most jobs were done with no issues after the service. There were some hiccups along the way where they had to come back to correct an issue they worked on. One instance was with my garbage disposal installation; I was told that the leaking issue under my sink was related to my dishwasher and to contact an appliance repair company, which I did. Turned to find out that the leaking issue was because the disposal was not properly installed. After correcting the disposal install and re-installing my dishwasher the problem was fixed for another $195 out of my pocket. I contacted Tina, gave her all the details of what transpired, and expressed my frustration and dissatisfaction. Discount Plumbing is all about customer service; Tina called me a short time later that day and said she spoke to the tech and the manager and that she was going to send me a check to help cover the additional expense I had to incur. I wish on these reviews we could give half stars. I cant give a 5 star review because there were times where I had to have them back out on a job; but if I could I would them 4.5 stars. They will continue to be my go-to for complex plumbing issues because the overall experience has been good.

I called Discount Plumbing for a kitchen faucet problem. Jose came to repair it within the hour. While he was here I asked him to replace three shut off valves and install a new water pressure regulator. Jose does fantastic work. Things I like about this company: No Home Depot runs, they have what they need on the truck. They respond quickly. Their plumbers are professional and courteous, and they explain everything upfront and give a quote before doing the work. And, once you give the okay, they start the job immediately and finish quickly..Highly recommend Jose, because he’s the person that made this five star review possible.

I can’t say enough good things about my first experience with Discount Plumbing! I called and was able to get someone to come out within an hour which was amazing. I was told Jose would be contacting me and would give me a closer time of arrival. Jose called within 10 minutes and gave me an ETA... He showed up on time nd was incredibly polite, professional and really nice! He gave me quote and started in on the job.. what should have been an easy replacement of a bathroom faucet turned out to be a much more in-depth job... My faucet had Ben leaking for a very long time and was so rusted together it took Jose over an hour to get it off.. Jose kept me in the loop every step of the way and was very careful not to harm my granite countertops.. He was relentless and finally got my old faucet off and put my new one on. I will absolutely use Discount Plumbing again... It isn’t easy to find a company and individual who is committed to closing a great job and customer satisfaction, but Discount Plumbing and Jose are! Call them, you’ll be impressed and happy!

Joseph and Bronson, theyre awesome and professional! We needed a shower handle replacement. Our old one had difficult rust that got the screws/bolts stuck in place, causing our water to not be completely shut off every time we pushed the valve in. Not only we were concern of water waste, but water damage as well. They did a terrific job, and were able to complete the tasks same-day of inspection. Their pricing is very reasonable as well. Also, Tina is such a positive customer service that tries to make clients smile, so thank you Tina! Id definitely hire them again if I have another plumbing issue. Jose came in two hours, after investigated the problem areas in our two bathroom, he gave a very clear explanation on what the problems were and how to fix them. Great service, would definitely recommend to others. We called discount plumbing & rooter for a leak that we had in our main water line and they managed to get somebody out that same day a couple hours later.Jose arrived and he was very friendly and asked us about the leak we called about. He told us that he recommends calling the city before he went ahead and did anything as the leak was in the service box for the main water line. The city would be able to pump the water out and determine if the issue was coming from our side or from them. So we called the water department they sent somebody out and they determined it was an issue coming from them.Jose managed to save us time and money and from his quick visit, he was able to identify the root cause of the problem and get a good idea on how we could proceed to fix it. Will definitely recommend if someone ever asks us on who to call for any plumbing issues.Thanks!

My room was flooded. I tried calling many plumbing companies in San Diego, but most of them did not give a free estimate and were not available for a few days. When I called Discount Plumbing, Victor and Kenny came less than an hour with a free estimate even though this happened on Fathers Day. They walked me through everything and answer a million of my questions. They helped file my insurance claim and connected me with the right people with non-related plumbing work. This was my first leaking issue so I was worried, anxious and everything combined. Victor and Kenny made me feel at ease and walked me through everything I need to know. They were very caring and honest about their work. I really appreciated them. With the quickest service and a great price, I would recommend. I will be calling them in the future if I need anymore plumbing work.

This is the first time Ive had a plumber (or any service person) show up exactly when they said they would. I made an appointment, and the next day, Jose and Marcos were onsite.I was immediately impressed with their polite and professional demeanor. I was having an issue with my washing machine, but I also feared a possible leak in the plumbing somewhere. Jose advised me that it was a washing machine issue after performing a diagnostic test. The price of the diagnostic was worth the peace of mind knowing I did NOT have a leak.Because of their honest approach, I booked a separate service on the spot. Discount plumbing is my new plumbing company for all projects. They are courteous, and reasonably priced compared to other estimates I received. Most importantly, they are honest. Give them a shot; you wont regret it.

Jose and Discount Plumbing were fantastic and went above and beyond to help us out. We received another quote from someone to fix our leak for $1,250 - $1,500, which seemed really high, and Jose agreed to fix it for $700.We called in the afternoon on a Friday and Jose was willing to stop by on his way home to see if he could help our water leak since it was a big leak. He didnt want us to have to go the weekend with water leaking all over the place and he arrived within 15 minutes.Jose tried to fix the leak but it was going through a retaining wall that was surrounding the pipe. The warehouse was already closed for the day and Jose couldnt access the proper tools to break up the concrete. He offered to come back first thing on Monday morning but rather than have us go the weekend with the leak he connected us to someone that could come out the next day to fix it for the same agreed upon price.Jose spent about an hour trying to get to the source of the leak, but since he couldnt fix it he didnt charge us for his time. He definitely went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and didnt really get anything in return. Jose was also incredibly professional, communicated great, and wore a mask/stood a respectable distance to make sure we felt comfortable.

He told me what he was planning to do and gave me an estimate. Once he opened up the wall he had me come over and take a look at what he discovered. Jose from this company created a wonderful experience for me. I had been trying to install a bidet, but my water line was nearly impossible to disconnect and I did a lot of damage to it trying to unscrew it. I called this company for a quote/some insight as to if they would be able to disconnect my water line and replace it. Jose called me back promptly and gave me a quote to unscrew it (which was $0!) and walked me through what would need to happen if he couldn’t disconnect it.He ended up needing to take out the toilet from the ground- a timely and difficult job- and gave me a huge discount so it was affordable for me. And even installed my bidet afterwards!Throughout this process, I also had to reschedule several times and every time Jose was flexible and prompt with when he could come help that worked with my schedule. I am so pleased with my experience with everyone at this company, especially Jose. I would absolutely recommend them for any needs you have!

Ive used Discount Plumbing before for a big clog in our toilet pipes. Cody came through that first time and really hooked us up with his help. Jose came out to clear clothes washer drain line, erratically backing up.He performed initial check \by inserting supply line into drain pipe, which accepted full flow for 4-5 minutes, no problem. He indicated no charge since he could not see any issues , he could correct. WE tried a wash cycle discharging into drain pipe , it quickly back flowed. Since we have a remodel to start today , and wall/ flooring will have to be replaced, he suggested that exposing the piping will better reveal the issue we have. Discount Plumbing is great! We had two bathroom faucets (along with draining components) that needed to be replaced - mainly due to cosmetic reasons and not due not working and figured we might as well have our two toilets looked at as they both were loose and not secure to the ground. Jose came over the day after we called, looked at everything, and gave us a quote to replace our faucets. The quote was a little high for us and after talking with him, he was able to give us a discount as well as include a price for our toilets too. He was able to secure one of our toilets back down to the ground although he saw the parts inside the tank all needed to be replaced, but he showed us that the other one was completely rusted out and recommended we try to see if our home warranty would cover fixing the toilet. We greatly appreciated his honesty rather than trying to do a quick fix that could break or become loose later on. Jose also offered us a great price to replace both toilets due them both needing new parts if our home warranty didnt fix or replace our toilets. What should have only been an hour job took about four, but Jose was great!
