I am impressed with how effectively Core Plumbing schedules and arranges their appointments for inspections. Their instructions are clear and detailed, making it easy to understand what is expected. During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of meeting two exceptional plumbing technicians, Kevin W. and Kevin H. They were both incredibly professional, courteous, and friendly. They patiently explained everything to me and even took the time to assess the water pressure in my home though it is not a part of the evaluation. When they provided me with a quote for the necessary repairs, it was transparent and easy to understand. The repair work was done professionally and impressed me greatly, especially considering how reasonable the cost was. Got their name from neighbors who had water main replaced last year. My turn. Excellent attention from all staff from first early morning call to the final cleanup at the end of the second day. Tony and Alex arrived within an hour of my call, and went right to work. I had a temporary water line and water back on in about 3 hours. Tony thoughtfully decided on best route for pipe line that required very little removal of my landscaping, and NO concrete/walkway damage! They had to dig up some very heavy succulents in the one planter affected. They received some help digging the trench from Allain (who whistled while he worked on a very warm day). I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Tony’s leadership on my job. He was so kind while working incredibly hard, literally in the trenches. He made sure things would work easily for me going forward and went over everything he did in a respectful manner that I very much appreciated. Thank you Tony, and Alex!Do not hesitate, call Core Plumbing, especially for a major job like a water main break.

Major sewer repair in our backyard.Nearly a year ago we had a back up in my sons bathtub. The main line to the sewer was backing up and water/waste on our backyard patio. I called Core Plumbing as my plumber of choice for many years. They came out quickly, assessed the problem, offered solutions, and got us back flushing toilets the same day.During the inspection, the tech found roots in the line and thought the pipe was also cracked. We paid the invoice and waited for the repair estimate. I have to admit, it was shocking, but I knew it was a very difficult repair and would involve lots of man and machine power. I saved nearly 10 months for the repair hoping we wouldn’t get another backup. We had one within three months, solidifying our need to get this work done.I gave a down payment and scheduled the work for our family vacation so we could let them do the work without interruption or the house with no sewer. Greg, our supervisor, sent daily pictures. This was quite the job, as Manny, the tech operator mapped out the equipment and game planned the job a few days before we were to leave.Yes, plumbing is expensive, yes plumbers are paid very well, yes it is sometimes messy, but guys let me tell you, Core Plumbing is the absolute best!!They always exceed my expectations in terms of quality of work, protecting my property, using the best materials, but ultimately just being great people. After a few communication problems, Core Plumbing did take care of two leaky sinks. They also recommended and installed a water pressure regulator and a device on my hot water tank. They are good but expensive. Maybe the two go together I guess. Next time I will get another bid just to check. I had one of the guys look at a shower I want replaced and he said he would get back to me with a bid but no word so far.

The team at CORE Plumbing is awesome. They are the nicest group of guys you could ever meet. They installed an outdoor shower in my backyard in Bay Ho neighborhood of San Diego. It required the installation of a gas tankless water heater. The quality of the install is amazing. They told me the schedule would take two days, and thats exactly what it took. The outdoor shower works absolutely perfect. In addition, they found other issues around my property that I wasnt even aware of and fixed them, including: upsizing my gas line out of the SDG&E meter, and identifying and fixing a gas leak in my tankless hot water heater in my addict that I didnt even know about! Greg and David came to my rescue on 3/19/2024. I had an unexpected water flood in my condo at 6am in the morning. Wasnt sure if it was from my hot water heater or laundry washer. I was able to turn off the washer valve as much as i could, but I couldnt stop the slow leak. I am so grateful for the level of competency and explanation Greg educated me. They came, listened to what I had to say was wrong. They examined, then diagnosed the problem. They worked hard late into the evening, and completed the work. About halfway through a DIY master bath remodel in a 60 YO house, I called CORE Plumbing for an inspection. Don & Jacob arrived the following day and performed an entire system check. As expected, there were some issues and several other code upgrades needed.The next day Jacob & Tony arrived early and had most of the work completed same day, including trenching and concrete. Jacob paid much attention to detail and pride-of-work. Don & Jacob finished up last day, also adding some creative custom piping at my request.Every item asked for was completed quickly and professionally. We called Core Plumbing late at night when we discovered a water main break that my husband had to turn off from the street. Core Plumbing was here first thing in the morning, with three guys who worked tirelessly. Alex and Steve dug a thirty four foot trench and Tony bored an 8’ tunnel under the concrete walkway, avoiding an ugly and costly concrete cut. They had the pipe replaced and the site picked up before 4:00 pm. Front yard lookslike nothing happened and new regulator and copper manifold is a work of art. We were so grateful to have running water again in less than 24 hrs. Thank you Tony, Alex, and Steve!!

After numerous leaks, we decided to do a whole house re-pipe. We researched plumbing companies and decided to have three come out and give quotes. Tony from Core Plumbing came out to give a quote and determine the work that needed to be done. He spent the most time of the three companies assessing the job and answering all of our questions and we had a lot of them. By the time he left, we had no doubt who we were going to hire. Tony was the lead on the job and you couldnt ask for a more professional, talented and just plain nice guy. Each morning and evening he answered all our questions and concerns. Never once made us feel like we were bothering him. On any given day, there were 3 to 6 workers on the job. They were all amazing! Besides Tony we would like to thank Sergio, Joe, Christian, Steve, Grant and Jake. Grant and Don are the owners and both came out to see how the job was progressing. Core Plumbing has high standards and invests in their employees and it shows. Their workers are well trained and treated our home with care. It was a joy having them as guests in our home.

As a housing provider, I have multiple properties and have hired countless plumbers for every imaginable repair and project. I can honestly say that I’ve never had a bad experience with any of them. But when we had a concern with our own home this week, no one we had used previously was available so I called Core randomly off of a Google maps search. Scheduling was easy online, and was followed up with good communication.My personal residence is a historically designated home, and as such, the plumbing had some unique idiosyncrasies and vulnerabilities. Gregory came out on inspected the system, explaining everything we saw, its origin, its strengths and weaknesses. As a journeyman plumber, his level of knowledge was unlike anyone with whom I had previously worked. He was patient and explained everything in a way I could understand. There were several solutions, and we decided on a rather unique pressure regulator that gives me the ability to both monitor the pressure remotely via an app, and also to shut of water remotely in the event of a leak. He found things that, although I knew to be a major risk, I simply hadn’t noticed and that no less than 3 perfectly fine plumbers had not.I honestly have not seen this level of competence, diligence, and conscientiousness in almost ANY profession (including doctors and lawyers) with whom I work regularly.Core is now my “go-to”. Pricing was fair and simple and the only surprises were pleasant ones. That he was polite, professional and funny was a wonderful bonus.

Core Plumbing sent Kevin to assist with a bad tub faucet leak. We had old Price-Phfister separate hot/cold water stems, which are quite outdated and often lead to leak problems if water pressure too high. Keven was great, friendly, explained everything he was doing to an old plumber. And, after checking our water pressure, found it was way too high, and our regulator had failed. A previous very well know big Plumbing Company came first, they did not tell me about or check my water pressure. If they had I would have know why the leaks were occurring. I passed on their job estimate, asked for a few days to consider the situation. Two other companies that came here did NOT check our water pressure first, they wanted to replace the faucet system w/o this check. I called you at Core Plumbing because of good recommendations by other customers of Core. Kevin replaced our Pressure gauge, and repaired a bad pipe above the gauge, that was kinked. Now the pressure is correct. Our thanks to Kevin, for his kind assistance. and Kevin came back, when I realized the arrangement of the new pipe around the pressure gauge, which included a water bib for hose water for the garage and front yard, was positioned in a bad way for my garage work station. Kevin quickly solved the problem and its just super, the work he did! He had told me at his first visit, if the new hose bib was a problem the way he originally set it up, he would come back and adjust it, which he did. What a great asset you have in the happy, jovial, hard working and very professional serviceman, Kevin. He is the best Plumber I have met in 50 years, without a doubt.I would rate Core Plumbing 5 star. And Kevin SIX star. Our first visit was with Tony and we had a great experience. He listened to us and then assessed our situation. Once he reviewed everything, he offered a very good overview of what he felt we needed. We had a water heater that was about 13 years old and he suggested that might be part of our problem. We replaced the water heater and he fixes some leaks in an upstairs bathtub/shower and the symptoms we had been experiencing are gone. We had Chris come back after we asked for a follow up to replace a Brizo wand head. They did not have the part, but provided a name for a place to order it from.Professional, calm, and very thorough in their explanations.

We bought a water heater through them after ours outlived its service. Upgraded with an emergency shut off since it sits on the second floor. After a few weeks, it sounded like a motorcycle was idling nearby…but there wasn’t. Called Core and sent a video clip with the noise. Mike came out same day we called and quickly silenced it. It’s been about a week and it’s even quieter than the original model. Water gets hot quickly and stays hot longer too. Great people who take pride in their work and care about their customers.

Im a old ret Veteran used to doing my own work. Lately Ive needed help w projects. Core Plumbing was excellent in customer service w polite and knowledgeable personnel. The technician, plumber they sent out was really good. Diagnosed the issue in minutes...went over the payment and what all was being replaced and the cost. It wasnt cheap by any means...but thats how it is today, expensive. I do feel that the work was done timely and most of all done right. Sincerest gratitude and appreciation for the gentlemen and women at Core Plumbing! I contacted Core Plumbing due to an issue with our toilet. They came out the very next day and were able to figure out the problem quickly. Kevin was very upfront, direct and honest with what needed to be done which I appreciated. His keen eyes noticed a hairline fracture on a brand new toilet tank (not a mistake on their part but toilet manufacturers). His estimate was based on NOT having to run a new 1 1/2 supply line to meet my needs.David arrived promptly at the agreed date and time. After insuring he understood my desires, he did a through analysis of the capability of my main gas supply line. He confirmed that my request could bet met by using the existing 1 supply line. This resulted in a cost for the service provided that matched Dons over the phone estimate. His analysis also confirmed that I would be able to replace my existing (leaking) water heater as long as I did not exceed the BTU level of the current water heater. They told me I didnt actually need to replace a part that I had thought was faulty, and they ended up sourcing and assembling a custom fitting to connect to the grill. There are definitely cheaper plumbing companies, but these guys offered a great value.

I had these guys come out initially to replace a water shutoff valve underneath my sink. They did that, and then performed a complimentary inspection of my plumbing system. They noticed that my water pressure was way too high and that my hot water heater didnt have a thermal expansion tank. The water pressure regulator had failed and that was covered by my home warranty, but the water heater wasnt covered. They gave me a fair quote and came out promptly to fix my water heater. The work they did was very professional, Miguel was polite and explained what he was doing when I inquired. We noticed after the work that our sink flow was terrible and Miguel showed back up as soon as we called and fixed the problem in about 30 seconds. We will definitely use Core Plumbing for our future plumbing needs as Im very confident in their professionalism and honesty as well as their general skill.

My water heater was malfunctioning so I made an appointment with Core Plumbing. When Kevin arrived he realized that I had a slab leak. Through some ingenious problem solving, he managed to bypass the problem without a jack hammer and we ended up having him check all plumbing connections in the house. The pressure regulator was not doing its job and so that was replaced and he also recommended that we install a water filtration unit (replace the unit we had that was 12 years old and no longer functioning). The job took 2 full days. Mark joined Kevin the second day and they checked a number of other concerns I had. They were two very pleasant men that entertained all of my questions and gave concrete solutions. I had full confidence in them and would have to say I consider them friends at this point.

Core Plumbing came out quickly to check out a leaking whole house filter that lead to my water conditioner - they quickly ran through the pros and cons of just making the simple repair to go around the water conditioner, or forego the repair and just install a new system (the one I had was probably 15+ years old and no longer supported by the manufacturer). I decided to go with a new system and they were able to install the same day. The system and installation were pricey but they also helped fix a couple simple things around the house while they were performing the installation.
