I wanted to have an outside RV outlet installed closer to where my RV plug is located. Ian Mobley was cost conscientious, and asked if we wanted to dig the ditch or have him do it. The RV outlet is perfectly located, and he did a fine job with the finish work. While he was there, I had him install a security light over the garage. This thing lights up the driveway -- I love it! Thank you.

We had an emergency situation where we needed an electrician immediately. We reached out to a couple places and lucky for us Northside Electric answered their phone. They were able to get out and fix our issue same day with zero issues for the price that was quoted. And that price was very fair. The technician they sent was on time, polite, and had no problem finding and fixing the issue. I absolutely would recommend them to anyone. One of the best contractor experiences weve ever had!

I wanted to thank Ian for a great job! He knows his stuff. He was willing to work with a type of fan that he had not installed before, and he did it with ease. In the same room he installed new LED lighting to add overhead light in our waiting room. Ian also installed new LED lights in our cold storage rooms, which was desperately needed and we are grateful for.

I felt very heard, which a lot of the companies I’ve dealt with this week have talked down to me and interrupted me, our technician was polite and educated. The work was completed and I feel he went above and beyond to ease my worries and fix my problems! This place is well worth the money and I won’t be going anywhere else.

We are moving to the mid west after 25 years in the same house. I spent 11 months working all trades to prepare to sell. Electrician is my weak spot so Kevin from Northside Electric came out and checked all areas I had worked in and inspected and corrected where needed and really educated me with good communication and an inclusiveness style. I had a laundry list of check offs and he completed it smoothy. I avoided calling because I feared the cost but they shocked me with a very reasonable rate for half of Kevins day. Thank you it has been a pleasure.

I am truly beyond words how great this company is!Chrystal was the go between and she coordinated everything beyond what I ever have experienced!The crews came out three times after I had a fire from a bathroom heater ceiling fan.I already had them scheduled to look at some breakers for the furnace but Polk County Fire Marshal asked that they come inspect the melted wiring and breaker box!It was determined a new fuse box needed to be installed and basically I was told we got you and they came in to finish the job that day to assure my disabled son and I had heat!The crew was wonderful and worked well together and very diligent in their work. We were having some major electric issues that were pretty scary, they had someone dispatched to my home in less than 2 hours, the electrician spent 4+ hours at my home and got the issue fixed. The electrician was extremely knowledgeable and fixed an uncommon issue that a different electrical company couldnt figure out. Thank you Brayden for your patience, taking the time to reassure me along the way and for actually taking the time to figure out and fix the problem.

I appreciate that Ian was so knowledgeable about his work. He installed an outlet behind my TV, which led me to change up the project- - to open up a hole under my staircase (more storage), which he then installed wafer lights - which look amazing, which led me to another project of installing stair railing lights - which I LOVE. he installed motion detectors so they come on when we approach. it is lovely! I will for sure call Ian again and have him work on future projects. Thanks for your flexibility of my ever changing plans!!

Very professional and reasonable price. I had an electrician came today from Roth Heating and Cooling to install a smart switch and quoted me $420. It is way too much and I paid $92 for diagnostic and trip fee which I agreed when I made the appointment. Then I called this company and they squeezed me in this afternoon. The new switch works great. The electrician finished the work within 20 mins. We use their services in the future definitely.

Northside came out a couple years back and wired my house up for a 220V outlet in the garage for my EV charging. The outlet worked 98% of the time. I was pretty happy. I called them a couple years later (aka this week) and they came out and fixed it so that it works all the time now. Very impressed how they stand by their work.

NE came out within a few hours and not only fixed the outlet problem but installed the dryer as well, saving me a wait of nearly a week for a return trip from the delivery/installers--all on the Friday before a long holiday weekend. We have used Northside for all our electrical work since moving in to our current home a few years ago. They have done a great job adding lighting, fixing strange wiring with plugs, switches etc on our 50 year old home. We had our panel updated last summer and were please with the results. They were also contracted by the heating/cooling company to install the electric for our AC unit. We often have the same technicians, which is great as they become familiar with the home, us and have knowledge of their previous work. I always recommend them for electrical needs.

I purchased a new construction home that was wired by Northside Electric. I had a small wiring issue and the builder provided me with the contact info for Beau Bacheller at Northside. I called and spoke with him and he was happy to stop by and correct the issue. It turned out to be a wiring mistake that I myself had made, it wasnt even warranty work. The company still fixed for me free of charge. Polite, professional, and obviously willing to work hard for their customers. I highly recommend Northside Electric.

We had this company come out and install RV plugs onto the side of the garage for us. The information that I provided them initially was incorrect but they adapted to the new conditions without a hiccup.The technician, Alex, was professional, courteous and made no attempt to game the cost/time and made choices and recommendations that helped us keep the project on budget rather than just carelessly run up the meter. I really appreciated that and this will be the only electrician business we contact for all future work as a result.They definitely earned a loyal customer today.

Was in a crunch on the sale of my home to meet a deadline for some electrical repair issues. Called an outfit that I was happy with in the past, but they didnt return my call. Got Northsides contact info from Angies List. They were amazing. Got somebody out that day for an estimate. Very competent, very efficient. Estimate was very reasonable. The electrician was sent the next day. He was equally competent and efficient. He even did some work that I intended to do myself. He saved me so much time and grief. He was in and out in an hour or so. Price was great. They are first on my list now.

I had an issue with my wifi on a Generac generator and Northside sent out Mac to take a look. Mac found a defective front seal that would have caused a lot of damage to my brand new generator. He replaced it and ensured my wifi is good to go. Most of all, Mac is one of the most entertaining and honest guys Ive ever met. It was a pleasure meeting him and listening to some of his stories. I will call Northside again for service if they send Mac out!

I have also worked with them at work and every time they do a clean professional job without cutting corners. Same good job as when they worked for me in 2018 adding under counter lighting in my kitchen, new electric panel, replaced every can light in the house w/LED lights & added a few in hallways, (pay less for electricity now) & added LED lighting in my garage so I could actually SEE something out there! I can see EVERYTHING now. This last time I had them add a motion switch so when my garage door opens, those lights come on! There are no dark places, feels more secure. Great job!

Bought a trailer and the previous owner failed to disclose that the light and exhaust fan in the bathroom and light in the back bedroom were periodically not working. Steve spent a good long time trying to find the problem outlet (missing neutral?) and he even found an additional problem for me! Seems as though the tub has a leak! Steve was polite, respectful, and always made sure to ask permission. Sounds like the billing department is out about 5-6 weeks, so I dont know the damage there yet. But everything electrical is up and running! Thank you!
