    I definitely recommend Mitchell Janusz Electric. I called Mitchell last week about having 3 lights installed. He stopped by the same day to give me a reasonable estimate and had his guys show up the next morning to install them. Mitchell and his team were very nice, responsive and did a great job. I love my new lights and will call them again for my electric needs.

    I had the best experience working with Janusz Electric. They were prompt in their response, provided an estimate via email, showed up exactly on time, and did a really nice clean job replacing my old panel. I had a couple electricians say they were interested then only to never show up or respond to my follow up to see if it was just a miscommunication.I would highly recommend Janusz Electric. They were recommended to me by a colleague and I just let another colleague know about my experienceā€¦ I think he will be calling soon enough.Some pics of the old panel and the new with the better placement.     Wow Iā€™m impressed. After describing my situation to the owner on Friday afternoon that I lost power reaching my wall ovens and expecting days or weeks to be scheduled he had his electrician Stephen scheduled for 7am Monday morning and he arrived right on time, then he quickly found the problem which involved locating a not up to code junction box buried in the wall. Stephen replaced the box and installed new parts to code. He was thorough and checked the inside of the breaker box as well to make sure the other end of the connection wasnā€™t jeopardized. Feeling grateful I didnā€™t need new ovens or a new kitchen caused by a fire from the work that was previously done. Quick scheduling, a fair price, and great communication and transparency are the primary reasons Iā€™ll use them again and recommend to friends!

    We lost power to half our house yesterday and we found a recommendation for Mitch, he was at our house within 15 minutes of our calling, charged us a beyond reasonable rate for an emergency response, and had the problem diagnosed extremely fast.Despite having a likely cause, he still took the time to review any other potential issues to be sure he was sending us down the right path and there wasnt another contributing factor.Mitch was thorough, personable, knowledgeable, and had excellent follow up and care. Do not look further for a good electrician to treat you right, you found him right here.

    Mitch did a number of things for us including hanging a chandelier, adding recessed lighting to one of our bedrooms, adding lights to our fan, replacing all of our recessed lights throughout our home, adding an outlet to our attic. He also set up our surround sound system and mounted our TV, neither of which were very easy tasks! Mitch did all of this work in just over a day. He was a pleasure to work with and did incredible work. He was efficient and a very hard worker. We highly recommend Mitch for all of your electrical needs! He provided us with all he promised and more!

    My fiancĆ© and I bought a home in Salem and had our electricity turned off due to an unsafe electrical box. I researched local companies and noticed Mitchell Janusz was highly recommended in the area. Out of everyone I reached out to, Mitch was the most responsive. We didnā€™t have the easiest project but Mitch and his team made sure they did everything they could within our budget to upgrade our system and make sure it was fully up to code. We had a weird issue after we moved in with something we were not familiar with and Mitch came on a Saturday within minutes (literally) to fix the problem. I canā€™t recommend Mitch and his team enough!

    I have been referring Mitch and his company to my customers for years. Never had an issue and they always were so happy and impressed with his professionalism and communication. I had an electrical issue for a home I was selling that needed to be taken care of asap! I called him and explained the situation and he was there in a couple days! His crew also hooked up my hot tub and they did a great job. We had an issue with the tub and they couldnt do it. However everyone was very patient and understanding with the situation.     Excellent and very quick and responsive customer service once again by Mitch Janusz and his crew. They installed a Generac 14kw generator for us. Timing was impeccable with delivery of the generator and getting all the pre-set up wiring done. Theyve worked non-stop to get this project completed.     Mitch and Steve and Owen are a DREAM TEAM. When we purchased our home, we wound up with an electrical emergency (lights and outlets not working suddenly) on a Friday afternoon right before a holiday.     I recently made a very smart choice by hiring Mitch to install some lighting in my backyard. Previously, my backyard was very dark, not secure and frequented by skunks who tangled with my dogs three times. Mitch came by and gave me his opinion on what would be the best solution, gave me a fair price and came out and completed the job. I canā€™t praise Mitch enough.     If you are in need of excellent electrical services I highly recommend Janusz Electric. Our TV cable wire inside the wall went bad and for months we lived with a jury-rigged cable placed externally across our living room floor. Attempts to get an electrician to come met in dead-ends until we called Janusz. Mitch Janusz came right out and assessed the situation. Not only did he fix the cable issue quickly he also recommended hanging our large TV on the wall. No more exposed ugly wires and bulky TV console table. Everything now looks perfect!In summary, Mitch Janusz is a total professional. He is competent, personable, extremly reliable , and his prices are fair and reasonable.     I had a very long list of electrical needs and wants when I contacted Mitch. He responded very quickly and came by for an estimate very quickly as well. My house is old so everything in it is also old which didnā€™t make for the best news for me but the message about cost was delivered with kindness. I was given an extremely detailed estimate that included all of my needs as well as my wants so that I could make the best decision for myself. I decided to do it all. Wiring needed to be replaced, I had basically no overhead lighting so I had overhead and recessed lighting installed, outlets were replaced/added (I now have outlets in super convenient places that I never would have thought of), my service was upgraded, etc. Every room in the house including attic, basement, and outdoors had work done. I also work from home so he and the guys had to deal with me and my not very well behaved dog being here the entire time. They worked around my needs, I never felt disrupted, and they were even able to do the work in my office while I was away for a short trip that I had planned so my work was not disrupted at all. Mitch stayed in regular communication with me about how things were going and was always very nice. The best part is that I got all of my needs and wants plus some extras and it came in under budget! I am very happy with the work that was done and would highly recommend Mitch to anyone who needs electrical work done.

    I got a very reasonable quote from Mitch. He is friendly and personable. He and his team of two completed the work quickly and efficiently. They installed new recessed lighting and replaced old, replaced vanity lighting, installed new bathroom light/fan and hallway light fixture, fixed two outlets that werent working. I was impressed by their professionalism and how well they cleaned up after themselves. There was a small problem with a switch a few days later. Mitch came by and corrected the problem at no cost.     Mitch is the best electrician that I have worked with period, and I cannot recommend him enough! He did two installations outdoors in my house, both were in a rush, needed rewiring from the electrical panel, replacement of the fuses, installations of specialized high power outdoor electrical outlets, and modifications to the electrical panel. These installations were very challenging since I have a crawl space and the panel was also located in a difficult location. Mitch assessed correctly all the part needed, the wires, recommended the supplier and help me placed the orders. Once the parts arrived, he showed up on time, and made sure he did a perfect clean install. He definitely made a huge difference getting things together and on time (He also made sure to clean up the areas where he worked). I am very satisfied with his professionality and I hope to keep getting his professional assistance in the future.

    I had a very complicated and costly electrical job that had multiple layers of complication. Not only did Janusz handle everything for me in a timely manner they also went above and beyond and took on Trenching work that normally wouldnt be handled.I had multiple contractors flake on me during this process but Janusz Electric picked up the pieces, called the utility to square things away, got the proper information and completed the work within weeks when I had waited months for a resolution.     Mitch helped me out with some lighting changes a little over a year ago and he was so kind and fair and listened without patronizing. He suggested a lighting change I had not even imagined so when I was not only ready to bite the light bullet and move from a glaring overhead light you could perform surgery under (not that I ever did) to dimmable recessed lighting, of course he was who I called. He also helped me sort out some outdoor lighting issues I was grappling with as well as replaced a light post that one of our crazy storms had taken out. I am already planning to bring him back for another project because I know he can do the job but will also share great advice if asked. And ask him! You may not realize what you have been missing until he points it out.**Update**Mitch and Owen came back this week and helped me get my kitchen lighting set so I have great lighting and no shadows in the areas I use the most. Mitch also made great use of an existing fixures switch so I could control the areas separately and replaced the original light attached to that switch to a new fire alarm/CO2 alarm. I never feel condescended to when he talks to me about ideas, and I know 100 percent he stands by his work. Every new light he has added or replaced has made my home better and more practically suited to my needs. Every employee I have interacted with has been truly kind and you can tell that is because they genuinely enjoy working for each other and doing what they do. I wholeheartedly support this small business and its endeavors.***Update (November 2025)Once again, Mitch pulled through after I upgraded my homeā€™s exterior to siding. He replaced an old exterior outlet and tripped breaker, reconnected lights and explained what I should have on the radar for eventual replacements.
