Everyone I had contact with at Mr Electric was kind, knowledgeable, patient, responsive and had great follow through on my many questions 😊 Everyone was reliable and the scheduling and the work was done very timely.Bill R did an amazing job on the new electrical service to my house. He installed a new meter mast and base; a new 200amp panel, 5 new outlets inside the house and a new GFI outlet outside for my pond. I also had him install a ceiling light in my living room and family roomAnd replace the kitchen light with a new led light.Bill is honest hard working, very efficient and knowledgeable and it was a relief and pleasure to have someone I could trust doing the work. I will definitely use Bill for any further electrical needs.

Highly recommend! Professional, clean, fast scheduling, and amazing at custom work. I will use them for all my future electrical needs. I had under and upper cabinet lights added around my cook range to match the rest of my kitchen and it looks amazing! I can even change my lights from warm to cool and dim them. I am quite happy with Bills work and will be hiring him to light my custom bookcases in the future.

We are very happy with the Service we received from Mr. Electric of Salem, the other day. Bill R. had many jobs to complete at our house. Among them were... installing a whole house surge protector, four light fixtures, one of which was to bemounted onto a slanted ceiling. Also, he installed five new smoke detectors, and two digital timers for us... and so on. Bill gave us some very good pointers on what might be needed here in the future. Bill also did a great job cleaning up after his work was done and was easy to communicate with from beginning to the end. We will request him for our next Electrical need, thats for sure . Thanks again to Mr Electric, for forwarding a photo of Bill R., before he came out to the house. A much appreciated Safety feature!

He was able to diagnose and fix the issue quickly while keeping me well informed. He went above and beyond for me, offering to bring me some belongings that were accidentally left behind, since he was going to be passing through my town. Bill definitely went the extra mile and I couldn’t recommend him and Mr. Electric more!

I cannot say enough about this installation, a 24 KW whole house backup generator. The designer and installers were very professional and very knowledgeable. This was a difficult install, with 400 amp service split over two service panels plus a 20KW solar panel system feeding in. As you can see from the photos, the finished job is neat and clean and looks great! Jose M. and Bill R. impressed me with their knowledge and obvious training. We’ve had an issue with this same outlet years ago and a different electrician “fixed” it, but didn’t get to root cause. Bill pursued it into the wall and discovered a lot of scorched wood and insulation, caused by a long nail that was intermittently arcing. Scary stuff. Bill was prompt, thorough, knowledgeable, courteous, and left the repair site ready for caulk and paint. I feel so much better knowing it’s really fixed this time.

Mr. Electric was awesome to work with. Matthew came out and gave us an Estimate for replacing our Breaker Box and adding an Inlet Line for a Generator. He was very professional and easy to work with. The work was great and he tested the system and helped me learn how to operate my generator! Were now ready to deal with power outages!

Mr. Electric tracked down new side-doors and rear wrap for our old 45 KW Generac generator (mfg in 2007). In fact, most of the parts needed to be newly manufactured. Throughout the process, which took a couple months, Mr. Electric kept my up to date on the ETA for the new parts. The next project is to obtain and install a new starter for the propane engine. Overall, Mr. Electric was easy to work with and I would recommend them to others with generator issues.

With other companies, after getting flaked on multiple times and then another being booked 6 weeks out. I was able to book my appointment online on a Thursday night for the following Monday morning. They called before they came and even sent a picture of the electrician so I would know what they look like. He was friendly and helpful! I would absolutely use them again. Now we have a working attic fan to keep our old house cooler!

Competent, professional, courteous, and friendly from start to finish. It was a joy to work with Brandon (office) and Bill R. (electrician). Bill called to let us know his expected arrival time. During the estimate process, we discussed several projects and his knowledge kept me from making a mistake on a future project. The estimate was broken down into cost for each project making it easy to understand and to decide on which projects to do when. Bill was highly skilled, working fast and steady. He installed 4 dimmer switches, replaced a ceiling fan, and took the time to troubleshoot a problem with another ceiling fan. We will happily work with Mr. Electric on the rest of our projects!

I had a light changed out in my guest room. I called Mr. Electric and they sent out Tim V, who inspected all the outlets in my house and changed out my light and replaced it with a caged ceiling fan/light. He went above and beyond because once he got the new light up we realized that one of the fan blades was hitting one of the bulbs. Tim took the light back down and determined one of the arms holding the bulb was loose and not positioned correctly. I thought I was going to have to return the fixture. Tim took the light apart and fixed the arm. He was a very nice person to work with.

Mr. Electric has been a reliable and trustworthy partner in upgrading our home electrical panels and installation of full home GENERAC generation which provided 48 hours of s100 amp service during recent wide spread power outages. Don’t put it off - get your home electrical panels current - we replaced several Federal Electric panels and I would do it again given the outcome of these two projects.

Over the past year we have been doing extensive remodeling of our new (1983) home, which was in need of a variety of electrical services: new lighting in the kitchen and garage, restructuring of our ethernet network, and the extension of electrical and internet services to a new addition on the property. Over several encounters we had with them, the company has proven their responsiveness, competitive pricing, and quality of service. On his first visit their electrician Bill conducted a general safety inspection, provided us with a good understanding of the condition of installed equipment in this 40+ year old house, and recommended repairs we could do according to our budget and the safety risk each presents. He listened carefully to our goals and made good recommendations of solutions and materials. The work was then carried out on a schedule that was both timely and flexible. As a courtesy, he also addressed minor issues that were discovered as the work was progressing. We are very satisfied with the work done and the integrity of the services provided. Highly recommended.

Needed to replace my 71 year old Federal Pacific Panel and upgrade whilst also getting my electric vehicle charger installed. When my backyard water fountain quite running, I had a pretty good idea how to fix it, but because there was electrical involved, I decided to go with the pros. Mathew from Mr. Electric, was definitely a pro, and I would recommend his services to anyone who has an electrical problem. 3 GFI were the cause of the problem (1 at the pump motor, 1 at the wall on/off switch and one at the kitchen counter) Mathew replaced all 3 in a record time, and the fountain was up an running.

Thank you Leah for getting me to the page I needed to do my review of Bill R. I had to have lots of work done, as Bill had looked at my electrical panel and it was a MESS! I had no idea as I really had no need to look at it. VERY unsafe to put it mildly. He replace the whole thing, new wiring, whole new panel. It looks wonderful and I feel my house is so much more safe now. He had to replace the dryer plug, it had to be done before they could install my new dryer. He replaced my electric smoke detector that hadnt work in years, I had just been using a battery operated one. He spent all day getting this accomplished, his work was professional and thorough, so well done I cant make enough positive comments. I will ask for Bill whenever another electric problem should arise. Anyone can feel confident in asking for Bill R. or Im sure anyone who works for Mr. Electric.

Mr.Electric came out for a free quote to rewire my garage the quote was a fair price for the amount of work that was going to be done. I believe his name was Steve. I paid half up front and the remaining balance after. He was here right at 9am like he said he would be. He was respectful and got the job done in a timely manner. He even added a few things I wasnt expecting but I was surely glad he did. He told me they would come in handy and he was absolutely right. After he was done I asked if he could install my smart thermostat while he was here. He gladly did and quoted me a fair price. He made sure everything was working properly before he had me sign the final bill. We discussed the next project i would like done in the future and he gave his recommendations since I didnt know exactly what do yet. I will definitely be calling Mr.Electric again.

Tim did an outstanding job. When Tim first came out, he did a whole house inspection. He found things that other electricians who came out to give us a bid, did not find. Tim found other things that previous contractors had not done right. Tim installed a new service panel, a new 20 amp circuit in the kitchen for my coffee bar, new smoke dectors. In our last visit Tim installed new plus outside for our security cameras. That was a challenging install, but did figured it out and went above and beyond to get it right. I would highly recommend Tim for any of your electrical needs. His work was very professional and he worked like it was his own home. We appreciate his caring about our home and making it safe.
