I reached out to John at Jolt Electric because he came highly recommended from some close friends. He answered the phone right away. Every time I contacted him throughout the project, he answered my call. No voicemails!John was able to quickly schedule a consultation. He took the time to thoroughly explain the project and patiently answered all my questions during the consultation. He submitted a quote on the same day and we were able to schedule something for the following week.When Jolt Electric came to complete the electrical work, the workers were punctual, friendly, and thorough. I will definitely be using their services again. I would give six out of five stars if I could!

We hired the Jolt team to replace the water damaged panel and upgrade our service from 100A to 200A at our newly purchased home. John and his team were in constant communication with us as needed and made the process as easy as possible. They provided the quote, and we scheduled them to do the work (their availability was great as well). They pulled all the permits and got the work done in one day. You can tell him, and his team are passionate about what they do, and it shows in their work. I would definitely recommend using them for your electrical projects!

I cant say enough good things about John and his team! We bought a house built in 1884 that was full of knob and tube wiring and they took the time to walk me through what that even meant and the best path forward!Steve and Gabe basically lived with us for 3 weeks as they worked to update all of the wiring to be fully compliant/replace lighting fixtures/add light switches- they were professional, timely, and always cleaned up at the end of each day. There were 64 holes by the time they were done! Jolt also upgraded our service, installed ceiling fans, and put in a special outlet to allow for a 35,000 BTU air conditioner that cools our entire first floor.This was a huge project and the cost came in well under other quotes we received - in addition to the excellent service it was also a fair price. You definitely want to call Jolt for your next project.

Initially had Jolt do some small tasks at a newly purchased home (outlet adjustments, new breaker). Very communicative, efficient, and honest/informative about feasibility of another small change I was considering (but just wasn’t well suited to my space given building codes.) Based on that experience I called them again when I had a boiler-related problem soon after - they came out right away and quickly found and fixed the electrical issue, averting a potential hazard and allowing me to have the HVAC repairs completed promptly. Positive experience at a reasonable cost, definitely will use them again!

Highly recommend Jolt for anyone looking for an electrician. We had them come in to install some ceiling fans, new outlets and recessed lighting in our older colonial, and were very happy with the work they did. John was extremely friendly and knowledgable during his initial visit, and felt very much as though he listened and made suggestions, rather than dictated what he thought was best. During the installations, his team was very professional and communicative; they were constantly in touch regarding progress they made and clarifications to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. They were still able to complete the job on time in spite of finding and remediating some issues with the outlets and old DIY wiring. Cannot recommend Jolt enough, and we would happily work with them again in the future.

Jolt did a really complicated job for me. I own a home built in 1910. I was getting ready to sell the home and wanted to remove the older wiring so the house would sail through a home inspection.Jolt showed up every day, on time, with very little disruption to our daily routine. Absolutely SO impressed with John and his staff for the work they did at my house. I needed to have my basement wired for an electric kiln, requiring a 220 outlet. John looked at the specs for the kiln we were installing, came to view our space and our existing electrical, took the time and care to educate us on what the best options would be to ensure everything would be done safely and correctly. I really felt so taken care of from the moment John entered our house, to when the whole project was complete. Both John and his team were exactly on time for every scheduled appointment--John even showed up EARLY the first time he came over. John also was extremely responsive to emails, and communicated everything clearly and honestly. I am a true believer in getting what you pay for, and I felt the quote John gave us was worth every penny considering the quality of the work that was done to wire our basement properly and safely. Our building manager who has been working on our house for over 50 years even commented on how impressed he was with the attention to detail and care that was given in installing the wiring. Their work even LOOKS extremely professional. We fired up my new kiln for the first time last night, and everything went perfectly. I feel so confident in their work, and feel so safe knowing my kiln is being operated and powered through the wiring they installed. HUGE thanks to John and his team!

I contacted Jolt Electric to upgrade my doorbell transformer and install a new doorbell. The electrician that came by confirmed that what I had was all good enough and he quickly installed the doorbell, cutting the estimated cost down (when Im sure other electricians would have lied to make extra money). I appreciate the honesty, speed, ease of scheduling the appointment, and most of all, safety. They followed all covid guidelines and even asked I do the same and more to ensure safety for their electrician. Ill be sure to use them again and recommend them to others in my area, as well. We have used Jolt several times before and been extremely satisfied. When it came time for this pretty big job or replacing all the old knob and tube wiring in an old house, we knew exactly who to call. John got right back to us with an estimate and was able to get us on the schedule pretty quickly!He sent out two guys who said they would arrive at 7:00am, and they knocked on the door right at that time, prompt and professional. Steve (the lead on this job) went through the expectations with me and my wife to make sure we were all on the same page as to what would be done, and were very upfront about potential power shut off and loss of Wi-Fi (a consideration with two kids doing remote schooling). Steve made sure to let us know when the power would be off to make sure the kids were in a spot where they wouldnt be disconnected at a bad time. He also was very forthcoming with things he found as he went through the job, both things that werent as bad as expected (resulting in a credit to the estimate) or things they found that werent expected (resulting in add-ons to the bill).Having used Jolt for multiple jobs before (small repairs, bigger jobs, grounding a new pool) I knew that John and his crew do great work, make sure they adhere to code, and are extremely fair with their clients. We could not have asked for a better experience with this job, they did great work - and left the place looking better than when they arrived!Having an electrician you can trust is worth its weight in gold, and we are very fortunate to have that with John and his crew at Jolt!

John Stavaridis and his team at Jolt Electric are superior to any electrician I or my uncle (a general contractor) have vetted. My uncle has been in the home improvement industry for more than 30 years, and he’s never seen a more tidy, efficient and impressive electric contracting business. Everything about our experience with John and Jolt Electric was fantastic. From the initial evaluation and pre-project scope of work through to the job execution and billing, Jolt Electric surpassed our expectations, impressed us with professionalism and overwhelmed us with value. Also worth noting, it says on Jolt’s website -- Please feel free to give us a call. We will actually answer the phone! -- and that couldn’t be more true. From the first time I called John, to the weeks leading up to us actually closing on our home, he answered the phone each time, and was careful and calculated in the counsel he provided. Our project was unique in that we had to remove knob and tube wiring in a mixed wiring home. The Jolt Electric team is well versed in all wiring, and we were extremely happy to learn how well John and his team are in removing knob and tube as a weatherization barrier to utilize the Mass Save program to insulate the home. We are now graduated through the Mass Save/ CLEAResult program thanks to Jolt Electric. Additionally worth noting, we found the lead electrician on our project Keith to be extremely knowledgeable, respectful and responsive. We trusted Keith and his helper to come and go from the home via a lockbox, and Keith would call with any minor snag he hit or question he wanted to clarify with us. Keith is the sort of consummate professional you want working on important work like the electrical in your home! Last, we found the scope of work pricing fair, and were happy to discover that our final bill -- albeit with several project additions (my wife and I couldn’t help ourselves) -- was nearly exact to what the original scope of work price was. I’ve also really grown to appreciate Jolt’s owner John Stavaridis as a person. He’s an honest man, a family guy and truly has been a pleasure to have in our home interacting with us, our dog and our young daughter (nearly 2 years old). You’re lucky you found Jolt Electric. You won’t regret calling John!

Keith installed two electric smoke detectors in my home, Feb. 2022. Last night, one went off eight times between 7 p.m and 5 a.m. I had about three hours of sleep total, broken into 15min-one hour segments between alarm soundings. I’m an older person and have cardiopulmonary disease, so waking to a robotic voice screaming FIRE, then running downstairs to fiddle with a smoke alarm until it stopped, and missing a night of sleep wasn’t great for my health.I called Jolt at 8:00 a.m., told Keith what happened, and John was in my house by 12:30 replacing both units, even though he suspected only one had failed. I was a bit cranky from lack of sleep and smoke alarms in general, yet he was patient and very nice. I can’t see calling another electrician after this. Thank-you John and Keith!

He answered my call after a couple of rings, and politely asked me if it would be ok if he returned my call a bit later in the day, as he was with a customer at the moment. True to his word, he returned my call later that day and listened to the description of the issue I was having. This was on a Saturday, late in the day. He arranged to be at my house first thing Monday morning, and showed up promptly as promised. He was able to very quickly sort out my issue, and left our home exactly as he found it (with the exception of the electrical issue, which was now corrected).I was not able to be home during his visit, but he left a very favorable impression on my wife. I will most definitely recommend him to friends, and will put him on my trusted contractor list! Top notch service!

I dont leave a lot of reviews and have pretty high standards for the quality of work done by professionals. So generally Im either leaving a 1-2 star or a 5 star review (typically nothing in between). John and his crew are easily a 5 star.Why? They check the box in every category you want for a contractor youre spending your hard-earned money on.1. Prompt/responsive — John responds to your emails, texts, etc in a timely manner. The team shows up on time everyday and finishes the job in the time they stated in (assuming you dont make any changes along the way that effect timeline).2. Fair price for quality work — Ive found with contractors that the adage, you get what you pay for, to generally be true. Johns prices are more than fair for the quality of work and overall professionalism of him and his crew. Dont cheap out if you get a lower bid from someone else. They werent the highest or lowest estimate I got but John and his crew are worth every cent. The estimate is also pretty spot on to what the final invoice will be (again, assuming no changes).3. Quality work — at the end of the day youre paying for a professional to do professional quality work (this isnt amateur hour). John and his crew are total nerds about what they do...and I mean that in all the best ways. They are passionate and care about doing everything right, down to the tiniest detail and they more than know their stuff. That is John and the crew he has built. The work itself is outstanding.4. Professionalism — for me this comes down to respecting my time, my belongings, my house and my money. Check, check, check and check. They left my house in the same condition they found it in, they were on-time everyday, they checked in with me if/when they had any questions (and didnt just make assumptions) and made suggestions that helped to make sure I was spending wisely.Ive used John for a few jobs now (from a 100amp to 200amp conversion to simpler outlet/fixture updates to adding lights and outlets) and continue to be incredibly happy with the quality of work, the price and the professionalism of him and his crew.

A breaker tripped in our breaker box and wouldnt reset. called Jolt Electric and John came out right away. he systematically troubleshooted and figured out the issue within 10 minutes- an outlet with a loose connection, hidden behind a bookshelf that was a fire hazard. he swapped out the outlet and the breaker. he clearly explained the problem and fixed it. i will never, ever, EVER call another electrician again. clean, professional, and reasonably priced, Jolt has my business FOR LIFE. John and his team were able to come out on extremely short notice and do a high quality job exactly as quoted and faster than we could have hoped. These guys are the best. Steve arrived at the stroke of the scheduled time. He was solicitous about what we wanted and calculated the exact needs for current by reading the information about the 3 new appliances. He used a level so the wall switch plate would look neat and even cleaned up after himself. The boss John came out with his truck to bring us a part we needed so there was no delay in the job. I couldnt recommend them more highly.
