We called Yuriy to help when we tried replacing our switches on our own. He was quick, knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. He did a great job fixing our errors and gave helpful advise if we were to do it ourselves again. I would recommend him to anyone who needs an electrician.

Sad to see a bad review for Yuri and Mountain Coast Electric because Yuri is an awesome person to work with. Mr. Murphys review is unfortunately questionable considering Yuri was hired by Sundial to do a job for us. Yuri went out of his way several times for this job and didnt even charge us extra. That is a caring owner. Unfortunately, the job had to be rescheduled for the next day because of the City of Salem and PGE. That was out of Yuris hands. I spoke with Yuri and he doesnt deserve to be verbally abused. Yuri was very professional and agreed to continue with the work for us after he was treated in a disheartening way from another person. I never heard back from Mr. Murphy even though I tried to follow up a few times and never heard about those concerning conditions he made a point to publicly humiliate Yuri with. I hope that when people are looking for an electrician, they can sift through the comments and see that Mountain Coast Electric is a reputable company. I would vouch for their work and professionalism any time. Thank you Yuri. We definitely appreciate you. Ronda :)

Hands down, best electrician we have ever had service our house! Yuriy came to put in a new electrical outlet for an outdoor project we were having done, but helped with other random projects I had around the house (fixed our dryer outlet and helped install a new thermostat)! He was patient, willing, and worked hard to get the job done even though he wasn’t here initially for all those jobs! I highly recommend Yuriy for any electrical project as he is responsive, friendly, and works efficiently and fast!

Seems to be a small business, so they have a more unexpected casual communication style through call and text. I was a little thrown off at first. A lot of other companies have a dedicated job for this for appointments before you get to the person that does the work, may be necessary if they scale. But I didn’t lose confidence and felt like I was talking to a friend where they’re busy but there for you when you need it. No bs, just to the point, which I personally liked. On time. Friendly and professional upon interaction. Passed my dogs vibe check. Job was in and out. Efficient and knowledgeable. Would recommend and work with them for future needs.

We attempted a DIY that did not go well resulting in a very sketchy situation with electricity. Yuriy was very responsive, got to my house within two hours, obtained the correct switched and swapped them out within 30 minutes! He was absolutely wonderful not to mention affordable for the pickle we got ourself in. Will definitely use him for all future projects.

I highly recommend Mountain Coast Electric as Yuriy is highly skilled, personable and focused. He installed three bedroom ceiling lights which required him to access two different crawls spaces to pull wire. He installed the fixtures perfectly in the middle of all three ceilings and put dimmers on all three switch plates. We also had two recessed ceiling kitchen lights put in and light is now dispersed evenly brightening up the counter area wonderfully. Yuriy traveled to the coast from the Valley and we couldnt be happier with the work he performed. He is fast and efficient plus has much more reasonable rates than electricians here on the coast. Cant speak higher of Yuriy and Mountain Coast Electric. 75 minutes from submitting the contact form he had already been to our house, troubleshot, and fixed the problem...He was great at explaining what he was doing and worked super fast.I think it took him maybe 4 minutes to know what was going on. I dont know that Ive ever been more impressed by a tradesman.

I initially hired Mountain Coast Electric to install recessed lighting in my newly purchased home. Yuriy came out quickly and not only installed the new lights, but patiently answered questions about some other ideas I had for the house. I ended up having Yuriy come back to my home to install an entryway light and outdoor lights a few weeks later. Not only were the jobs completed impeccably, but he did them quickly and while observing CDC guidelines for safety during the pandemic. I expect to be calling Yurij out to many more times as well as recommending him to all my friends..

When youre a kid, youre grounded is the worst phrase you can hear. When you own an 80 year old home with sketchy wiring, that phrase is like music! Yuriy came out and inspected our panel and insured all of our outlets were gfci protected. He was professional and efficient. I highly recommend Mountain Coast Electric.

I contacted Mountain Coast to retro install a couple of outlets for my restaurant, as well as replace some LED lights that had prematurely burnt out. Yuri agreed to come out and take a look, and after a brief walkthru, he provided an estimate and schedule for the work to be done. He was highly professional, communicative, and skilled. Install took no time at all, and his invoice came in significantly under estimate! Top it off, hes a pretty nice guy! Highly recommend!
