    We had Kevin out to replace our 27 year old water heater. Very professional, courteous and explained everything clearly. Installation went smoothly and the area was left very clean. Kevin also replaced a faucet located in a small, tight space and a leaking cold water shutoff. MSP Plumbing, Heating & Air is not the cheapest option but they do high quality work, have a fast response time (our old water heater had started to leak) and have very personable, professional people who make sure the job is done right.

    Today, December 24th, G. came to do a pressure check. He made sure it was correct and after his work it was. It was great to see him again. We wished each other Merry Christmas and said our good byes. He & MSP are the best, THE BEST.Regarding Tony and BuddyTony worked very hard for well over an hour to investigate the issues. He explained the issues and showed me several pictures of the issues. He’s very enthusiastic and relatable. I have everything I need to make an informed decision and that is so important.BUDDY also gave us a lot of important information about furnaces for our particular home, situation and needs and wants. We had a very good and long conversation as well as an inspection together so he could show and tell me everything. I feel completely confident in our decision. Thanks you guys!

    Very impressed with MSP Plumbing! From the initial call I made on the phone to Tom coming out to assess our sewer ejector sump pump closing value’s very loud thunk. He determined the problem, he made calls to find the part, got it delivered to our house and installed all in about 2 hours time! Tom was very experienced and knowledgeable as well as pleasant and easy to talk and work with! We highly recommend MSP and definitely working with Tom! We are very pleased and happy we don’t have to live with that horrible thunking noise anymore! Thank you!!!Also MSP gave us a 4 hour window and was great in communication with updates on the arrival time!

Dave worked late Friday to provide a proposal and responded to a call Saturday to schedule us for the repairs for Monday. We appreciated the temporary heat units to maintain our comfort.

    These guys are so amazing! They were so friendly, knowledgeable, and affordable. Once we knew what the problem was with our furnace, it only took them 10 minutes to quick fix the problem. I definitely recommend them.

    I recently had a heat pump and new furnace installed. Initially, we opted to keep our nest thermostat due to preference. However, it lacked key functionality with the heat pump. All this to say, MSP quickly worked with us to install a thermostat they works well. Phuntsok was excellent!

    Heat went out late last night, and standard heating was the label on the furnace. I called them, and was told to expect a call back soon. No one called or showed up, and I called up MSP this morning the minute they opened. They got a tech over quickly, Ashley, and she fixed the furnace in 20 minutes. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, professional, and good at communicating. Ashley did a great job fixing the problem fast, and explaining to me what the problem was. Very impressed overall!

    MSP did an amazing job mobilizing a whole crew of people to install our new furnace in a day’s time, after the old one died on the coldest day of winter. At one point there were five trucks outside our house. Each person involved, from the initial repair man to the estimator to the installation crew, was kind, informative, and professional. We were making the decision to install an electric air source heat pump with gas back up, which is a complicated and expensive decision, and we had to make it on an urgent basis. MSP was very helpful, walking us through all the things to think about.

    Michael came up with an ideal solution to the problem with my water heater. This was a self-created problem, sadly. I recently replaced a gravity-fed furnace (some call it and octopus) with someone else. Stupidly, I missed the part where they said they would *not* replace the water heater, so I had to shut off my water heater and call someone to replace it. Quick diagnosis, quick estimates for three options on the fly, and quick turnaround on documents. New water heater was in place within 4 hours.

    MSP Plumbing team did a fantastic job. They arrived first thing in the morning and removed the old boiler. Then proceeded to install all of the copper piping and wiring required for the new boiler. Tested all radiators to insure system was working and cleaned up and finished mid afternoon. Very efficient and professional.

    Joe and Tyrone stopped over this morning to conduct a checkup on my AC and furnace. Both of them were very polite and nice to work with. They put on booties over their boots which I did mention that they don’t have to put them on. They explained in detail what they were doing as they did the inspection which is nice to know. After the appointment they discussed the health of the system as well. Some customers purchase based solely on the cheapest bid, others purchase based on the service and product like I do.     I have a very (very) old furnace so tune up was limited to making sure it was burning clean and not leaking gas. I appreciated his down to earth advice and run down of my options for when we decide to replace.     Our 20-year old water heater started leaking midday on Thursday ☹️🥺. I phoned MSP, and by about 10:30 the next day, technician Dan had completed the replacement and was explaining how to adjust it. Maybe we could’ve gotten it done for les$, but that would’ve been more disruption: more time calling around, paying trip charges for multiple companies, etc. Time is money so it was worth just getting the job done quickly— thorough and friendly were welcome bonuses. Thanks!!P.S. - a couple weeks later, Im checking to see if the model they installed was eligible for rebate or tax credits -- disappointed to find that it does NOT. Wish they would have given us a choice of models instead of putting one in that is near the high end of estimated yearly cost. Started as a 5-star review, but docking one star for that ...

    Recently joined MSP’s Comfort Club and had a boiler replacement done when it was clear that the 2002 boiler from the previous owner was on its last legs (leaking CO2 and CO, running too hot, and pretty corroded). All technicians we had at the house were very knowledgeable and helpful when assessing the issues and presenting the options for a fix or a replacement. We really appreciated that the first tech called in a second to ensure that his equipment was calibrated properly and that those problems were actually there. They were out within two days to replace everything and we were offered use of electric radiators if needed in the interim. Jefferson went the extra mile to quietly work with the radiator in my toddler’s room and managed not to wake him up from his nap. Would highly recommend joining the Comfort Club and having MSP technicians do work in your home. Thanks guys!

    Allen Knappenberger was wonderful! He was very thorough. Life with a newborn is hectic, and things get forgotten about - furnace filter being one of those things - not only did Allen inform us that our filter needed to be changed a little more regularly, he went the extra step of changing it for us!     MSP has been going above and beyond in troubleshooting a manufacturer problem with the circuitboards on my Fujitsu mini-split system. The fact that they have a dedicated customer service manager, Derek, for special situations assured me that they would work on the problem until it was resolved. Derek would call me with updates and took personal responsibility in getting a resolution. Matt Beecher was the technician who did the work and followed the setbacks and progress of the repairs. He was courteous, thoughtful, patient and persistent in solving the problem. There were some abnormalities in the circuitboards from the manufacturer and MSP made sure that we ended up with a working system. Great to know the twin cities community has a company that stands behind their products and workmanship.

    Joe.K, a service technician, came out for an additional expert opinion on assessing our furnace. The initial assessment/evaluation was done less than 10 hours ago. Due to the safety concerns/findings, MSP quickly got Joe out to conduct a further evaluation/second opinion.Joe was very professional thorough in his assessment of our furnace, he also took over 30 minutes to sit down with us and go over the findings, results and images/videos with us so we not only understood what was wrong, but also brought to our attention the extreme safety risk our furnace condition placed, as it had extreme CO output readings. Our primary heat exchanger is cracked along with several serious areas of concern with rust.Joes communication and experience were greatly appreciated, he took the time to explain the risks, solutions and options we have not only to replace our furnace (highly suggested understanably) but also had no problem creating an estimate for what the replacement part/labor costs would be if we chose to not replace the furnace. We cant say enough how appreciative we are for his evaluation, professionalism, and honest opinion. Joe was empathetic and gave us multiple options of how to move forward, along with providing quotes for whatever decision we chose to make, allowing us to take the time to decide and not feel rushed/persuaded on making an immediate choice. We were given a professional opinion, with digital and electrical evidence to confirm the condition of our furnace and the safety risks it posed continuing to have it run. We would highly recommend Joe and Msp to any of our family and friends.Finding out that we are in need of a new furnace is never great news to start your day. However, we are grateful that MSP sent out two technicians with varying years of experience who spent hours at our home to confirm everything.Lastly, we want to thank Joe.K, Jacob.N (Technicians) and MSP for having high standards of professional conduct. Their primary concerns were for our safety, which they expressed and demonstrated before tackling any explanations of our future options.

    I was due for a new water heater (~20 years old) and had MSP come take a look. They quoted me hundreds less than another company for both the water heater and a significant gas leak, which the previous company left me with. MSP seemed a lot more concerned about safety and insisted on taking care of it. They also offered to do the water heater while they were already at my home (same-day service!!). Options were provided with good knowledge and honesty; I was able to decide what I wanted to have done or not done without pressure. By the end of the day everything was taken care of and now my house will not flood or explode! 10/10 would recommend MSP!!

    Have been a customer for 10 years or so at two separate homes. I have had anything from tune ups with the TCC membership or an entire HVAC system replaced along with the water heater. MSP is reliable and the techs I find can translate things well in common terms an average person can understand.Today I am leaving my review because I had the best tune up experience life to date with you guys with Jaxon. He was professional, thorough, listened well, candid, friendly, and efficient. He didn’t just tune up the system and say everything is good.     12/18/2024 - Im having one of those years where all the old stuff in the house is failing. This time an old lead drain pipe from the bathroom sink was leaking in the basement. I called yesterday afternoon and they were here today to fix it. They took care of it no problem. Like Ive said before Ive always had great service from MSP. Today Dan Willert fixed the leaky pipe in a fairly short period of time. Cleaned up, and left things working perfectly.10/15/2024 - I had them come out for a basement drain cleaning which was draining slowly. Brian Wass performed the service which overall was great. I watched the camera as he initially fed it into the drain and gave us a good idea of the problem. Brian was friendly, and clearly communicated the service options. He got started right away and was finished same day. The end result looked like a new pipe.2023-The company provides great service. I called them in the morning when I realized my furnace wasnt working properly. They sent Drew over in the afternoon the same day. He performed an inspection and understood the problem very quickly. His repair to the toilet flapper was quick and effective, and maintenance on the water heater was thorough, and I have confidence in my water heater and softener. I highly recommend MSP and Thomas.     While the night dispatch led me to believe I would be seen for days, when I got flagged as an emergency when my water heater decided to spray out of the top, they came the next morning.To my surprise, they were able to remove and replace my water heater within hours! They arrived at 8, and by 1230 I was taking the hot shower I needed after a stressful night of sucking water out of my basement.The tech, Thomas R, was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, and clean.     Ive been happy with MSP ever since we got our new furnace and ac about 4 years ago. We got 1 yr complimentary for their Comfort Care Plan and we continued on with the service after that. They come out, make sure our furnace and ac are still running smoothly and also checks our water heater as well! They alerted us to a water quality issue which we promptly corrected and will be forever thankful.

He introduced me to some amazing Gojo wipes that helped him clean up the mess that was inside them old gunky pipes. Wow!I was also extremely impressed with the products that he used to clean up after the job was completed.     Mason removed some old gas lines with old non-code valves that were leaking. He also installed a new vent for our hot water heater. He was thorough and cleaned up all the old pipes and vent parts. He finished up by showing me everything he had done and answering my questions. Very good and reliable company MSP!

    The MSP technician showed up at my house and I explained my water pressure drop issue, Mike, the technician, listened to my explanation, we went down to the basement and I showed him the work that had already been done on my well pump and water filters to troubleshoot pressure drop issue. Mike noticed corrosion on the valve coming from the well pump to the filters, and said that needed to be replaced. He also noticed a fitting on the second filter was leaking, and fixed that also. Mike also looked at the gauge coming off the second filter which then went to both house and outside water and pointed out that the gauge was not working, not registering the flow and that needed to be replaced but would have to be done by the folks who installed the filters. He said the most likely cause of the water pressure drop was the line through and including that gauge. He showed me how to test that by showing me how to bypass the filters. After he left I turned on my zone 1 sprinklers to observe the flow of water from the sprinkler heads. Then I went down and did what Mike suggested and bypassed the filters and flow gauge, turned zone 1 back on and the flow of water coming from the sprinkler heads went twice as far as when the filters and gauge were in line. Thanks Mike! Thanks MSP! You guys have always done a great job at solving my plumbing problems, you did it again. Kudos to your whole team!
