I had a thermostat issue that was complicated by a 30 year old HVAC system. The new age thermostats did not play well with the new Honeywell board, and being a 2 zone system complicated it more. The service that I received was exceptional. The dedication and hours involved was truly appreciated. Just when the weather is changing, I’ll be controlling my system from my phone! Excellent service! Within an hour of my initial phone call they had someone in my home diagnosing the problem. Not only did he assess the primary issue, he took some time to look at the overall plumbing in our house. For us, we needed a new water heater. Options were provided with excellent 18 months, no interest financing, and an installment date set for 2-days out. In short, it was an excellent experience with a highly knowledgeable and professional individual and company! Thank you.

He went above and beyond by replacing the rusty metal section of pipe with new PVC at no cost. Had a water leak, assumed from my bathtub. Conor was very professional and did a thorough job and kept me informed throughout his findings. No reflection on him whatsoever, but with only providing an 8-4 window it’s challenging to plan. Yes I work from home but happened to have 3 hours of meetings ready to start when he had his recommendations ready. It would be more customer-focused to at least be able to narrow to a two hour window when a person can reasonable commit to being available.

Once we decided on a course of action, he got the parts and got to work — restoring our heat and saving the day. Brandon E was great! He didnt give me the best news about my absolutely ancient AC system but equipment ages and eventually dies, it was my systems turn. He was kind, professional, exceptionally knowledgeable. He walked me through each major component and explained how they worked and why my system was failing. Then he went over my options. He showed me the actual pricing. He works for a company and has to get paid somehow so I was expecting him to to try to sell me a nice and shiny hot rod of a unit but he didnt. He showed me respect and led me to the best option for my situation, not the most expensive option. That kind of honesty is hard to find in any industry and is a great way to earn a lifetime customer. I will be doing business with McQuillian again and I hope to have Brandon E back out to put in my new system.This review sounds like a robot working for the company but I can assure you, Im human. I enjoy human things like breathing with my air sacs and subjecting my self to solar radiation.

McQuillan always does a great job and they have been my primary home repair contact for 2 years now. Most recently Jason Lushine installed a new light switch for a light that was previously an old pull cord model. The job was quick but not easy and Jason had to try several paths to get to the electrical in our attic.The extra work didnt affect the cost or the quality and Im always happen with McQuillan work. Unfortunately we needed to replace our boiler, so Moe explained the process that their company uses and got the ball rolling. He even went back to the office to get us some space heaters as it would be a couple days until the new boiler was installed.

I needed to have a drain cleared deep in the run. It was a semi-emergency as my kitchen sink and dishwasher were useless. The initial tech assigned got hung up on a demanding job, but I didn’t find this out until I called an hour after my four hour window had expired. This should have been communicated before I called and the dispatcher could have handled my call better. That being said, they assigned a new tech, Carter and he saved my experience! He was very efficient and friendly. Even happy to explain the process to my 4 year old son! Price of the work was very reasonable as well.

We knew wed have to replace our furnace and AC in about a year of moving into our first home. After the AC condenser unit kaput during the first hot day this summer we had to make the call and replace it all asap. Brandon was able to sit us down and show us a variety of options that fit our budget and met our home needs as well as help us get setup with financing and rebates to make an already insanely stressful situation for a new homeowner a relief. Keagan and his crew were there the next day and after installation, walked us through how to use, care and maintain our new AC and furnace moving forward. I highly recommend McQuillan and will be coming back to them in the future.

Our sewer line had roots with the beginning of fracturing of the clay pipe. Now, when we decide to sell our home someday this could be excellent selling point. We had 2 regular round bowl toilets replaced with comfort height, elongated toilets. The support staff were excellent in communicating when to expect the plumbing technician. Mike was on time and very courteous and professional. He gave me several different price options and I chose to go with their toilets of choice rather than purchase on my own at Menards. He was able to get them from their distribution point and installed that day and when he was finished everything was neat and tidy and someone was here within minutes to take the old toilets away. His inspection was very thorough and accurate. We were so fortunate to benefit from Jons expertise today.

Jon W. Came by today to give me a second opinion on my furnace’s heat exchanger having a crack. He was knowledgeable, quick with his work and best of all, he knew what he was doing. I learned my lesson hiring people who do not know what they are doing. He was not trying to sell me and showed me live on the camera that there was indeed a crack. He also answered my questions about what the different brand qualities are and the differences from a service call stand point, thinking about parts availability and time to change a part etc. He effectively communicated the differences in new furnaces such as the electronic air cleaner, the difference in HE vs 80%, etc. I would trust him to come to my home again if my furnace had an issue to properly diagnose and fix the problem and not have to come back multiple times for the same issue. I would most likely specifically ask for him as well because of his experience. Thank you!

I have an older home with radiator heat. McQuillan put in an attic air conditioner and installed ductwork that ran through the closets. After years of struggling with window units, I now have central air. I could not have been happier with Shawn and his team. Although it was a big project, the results are fantastic. Even the grates on the ceiling blend in with the style of the house, which is why I decided against mini-splits.
