I utilized Bieg Plumbing to solve a water heater leak and replace both of my main water shut-off valves (I have two) with better quality quarter turn shut-offs, because the old ones didnt properly cut off the feeds when I had to have other work done once.Kevin did my work and he was easily the nicest person in the world you will ever meet. He did the job efficiently and did a wonderful job with my preventative maintenance request. Price was reasonable and though he ran into some issues with my kitchen sink setup he was able to solve the issue without fail and get me on my way. No more more water heater leaks and shutoff valves that actually fut the water off properly unlike the original ones. I would love to request Kevin again for a possible future project I have coming up for my shower valve too.

I had a contract with a certain company to inspect plumbing issues once a year. Yesterday this certain company came out and told me I needed to replace the main sewer line because of some issues. Was originally told the estimate was around $5000; however, I just received the actual estimate and it is $10,000. My boss recommended I get second opinion. He said to call BIEG PLUMBING. Mark came out today and after inspecting everything, he said he found NOTHING wrong. Yes, I had to pay a service call; however, BIEG PLUMBING saved me thousands of dollars. I have cancelled my contract with the other company and now BIEG PLUMBING has a life-long customer. If anyone needs any plumbing needs, PLEASE call BIEG PLUMBING!

Frozen, burst pipes recently and we were lucky when we called Bieg. Happened on a Saturday when every plumber in town was overwhelmed with calls. Left a message on their emergency line and scheduler called back with solid info when he could send someone. The guy who came for the first fix was great about texting and calling with his arrival status, very professional and friendly, showed us where the leak was and what he needed to do to fix it (always a challenge in a 130 year old home) and took had it repaired quickly. Later on that night in a different set of pipes in a different wall had an issue - no fault at all by our guy. Called the emergency line, left a message that we had it under control and didn’t need a call back that night but could we talk the next morning about getting us on the schedule again. Impressed to get a call back very quickly confirming that office would be in touch in the morning. That happened and round 2 of fixes happened and this time it was even trickier. They were super careful in minimizing the amount of tile that had to be removed from wall and still not sure how he twisted to fit in to a really tight place. He showed us our new leak and 3 previous (unknown by us) repairs that were “hidden” in the wall. All good and the first guy even called back to ask what happened because he was worried which seems unheard of these days. With Bieg’s help and an insulation company, we discovered the cause of our problem and have a solution. Five star rating due to response time, great service, and quality work.

I have had Bieg come out to my house once a year for 7 years to clean my lateral out due to roots. They are always great to work with. A month ago they told me It was time to replace the lateral due to root damage. Mike Costa took the lead and set everything up. The crew came out yesterday and were absolutely amazing. I am so incredibly thankful for this company! We had a situation where we purchased a house with a failing well and did not have usable water. After months of dealing with other plumbing services and then weeks of trying to get bids to switch to public water, this company came in and took our needs seriously. This was difficult job because we live on a hill of solid bedrock - No contractors would call us back because of our location but this company not only called us back quickly but they rushed our job and got us done within 2 weeks. Everyone was AMAZING! From Bob and Den personally coming out to evaluate the job, to the workers being kind and professional every day, to Candace calling to give me daily status updates. They gave us the best service and we are so happy to finally have working CLEAN water!!

Bieg was great: the estimator came to our place and produced an estimate. They then followed up to schedule the job. The plumber (Dave) came at the exact time and was super professional. Strongly recommend.

Had excellent experience with Bieg. I had several smaller fixes (replace saddle valves, replace outside hose bib/spigot, fix leaky main valve shutoff, etc). I really liked their approach to the job, i.e. they said it is a time and material approach, they were very upfront about the hourly rate, and visit charge. They gave me a rough idea of how long they thought it would take but said it would really depend on what the work involved once the plumber took a look at it (which was very fair in my mind). Was able to get an appointment that was just a few days out. The day of the appointment the plumber (Dave) was on-time, very friendly, very knowledgeable, and did an awesome job. The outside spigot fix was complicated due the basement being finished and very limited access to where it came in the house. Dave came up with an excellent and simple solution for it. Very happy with the whole experience. I did get an estimate from one other plumbing company and they had much more of a corporate like sales process (had gold, silver, gold, band-aid options for each repair presented to me on an ipad ) and the band-aid estimate they gave me was more than double what Beig charged me. Highly recommend Bieg.

The two person team did a great job on replacing two vertical sewer stacks. They were hard working, made sure to cleanup any mess that was made and restored everything to the way it was before.Only issue was communication issues between the corporate office and the plumbers on the job site. I was contacted twice about questions on work that needed to be completed and what was completed.I would use them again. The price was a little high, but you get what you pay for and I got high quality work.

This is a quality company, but I do have an issue, I had a shower that was leaking and called for service, I offered the model number of the faucet and pictures before the service call so that the correct part (Cartridge) would be brought , When the tech came he did not have it and had to go to a special place in webster goves to get the part, I had to pay labor for the trip, $120 extra, to be fair he did tell me he could come back another day for no sircharge but I would require for me to schedule and stay at home to meet them a second day. All in all the work was wonderful and the tech was pleasant and profressional

Steve from Bieg came to work on my bathtub faucet that had been leaking ever since it was installed about six years ago. I have had at least five other plumbers look at it and they could never get it to stop totally. In the last few weeks, it became more of a steady stream of water rather than a leak. Steve managed to get it totally stopped and I couldnt be happier. He was thorough and extremely professional. He was also very friendly and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Great customer service! I needed a plumber on super short notice to inspect a sewer line on a house I was buying. They sent Tom out within the hour, he used a camera in the lateral sewer line, checked the stack in the kitchen and the stack for the bath. He gave us some good feedback about the pipes in the basement. I had to call later because of a misunderstanding with the bill. Mark and Don were very courteous and straightened everything out quickly. I was very happy with Bieg Plumbing and will definately call on them when I need repairs down the road!

Fortunately for us it hasnt been too often, but outside of one time when they were slammed and couldnt meet an emergency need I had (which they said right away making it easy for me to move on and find someone else), theyve been terrific. Wish I could give them a 12-star!!! Phe-nomenal!!! When everyone in the world is taking the humanity out of business, Bieg goes above and beyond to not only fix the problem, but make you feel important as a customer.We had lousy service from Merlo plumbing. Not only did they NOT fix our water pressure problem, they fixed something that didnt need repair and did it shoddily. Despite months of requests to come back to do the work they should have done initially (with nearly $1000 spent on unnecessary, inferior work), they gave us rude attitude, then ignored us, never returning phone calls or emails.We called Bieg. Not only did they agree to come out and look at it (when usually contractors dont want to work on someone elses mistake), Mr. Bieg HIMSELF was so concerned for what happened to us from Merlo, he came out personally to inspect it. He spent the time to investigate and troubleshoot. The NEXT DAY, he had his plumber come out. They fixed the original water pressure problem and at a reasonable plumbing fee.A few weeks later, water was in our finished basement b/c the work Merlo mistakenly did initially (and poorly), was leaking badly. We called Bieg again. They came out right away and fixed that problem from Merlos incompetent work. After Bieg worked on it, weve had ZERO issues.Thanks to Bieg, our water pressure is better than ever and there is no leakage in our finished basement.Mr. Bieg (Mr. Big to us) youre legendary! My husband who is a disabled vet fell and broke our toilet this morning. Our only other bathroom is on the second floor and he cannot do stairs. Called Bieg, a referral from another plumber, and they responded within 30 minutes, fitting us in between jobs because of the situation. Joe, the young man who did the work was wonderful. The tank was the only part broken and he tried to get us just a new tank to save us some money but unfortunately, none were. He had another coworker go pick up the new toilet while he took out the old. He explained what he was doing, was extremely knowledgeable, very respectful and he tested the toilet repeatedly to insure there were no leaks and he cleaned up the floor! He refused to take a tip. Bieg is now our plumber of choice.

I had a shower leaking into the basement and could not figure out the source. The owner, Dennis, came out and stayed for 45 minutes trying to find the leak. I appreciated his time & knowledge. We determined a plumber would come out & replace the spout and start there. Dave, the plumber, came out on time and was very knowledgeable and logical in his approach. Through process of elimination he determined he had to get inside the wall, which he did in a quick and efficient manner with the least invasive method. Upon observing the leak in the opening he determined it was not a plumbing issue but a grout or caulk/sealing issue. He then recommended a tile repairman. I could not have located this leak without them. All in all very pleased with Biegs professionalism & knowledge.

Everyone here seems to really know what theyre talking about - from the phone rep who makes appointments, down to the plumbers who do the physical labor. This was extremely appreciated when we came to them with a seemingly invisible leak and a poorly-designed water pipe system. Bieg Plumbing found a creative workaround for our problem that DIDNT involve digging up our entire basement floor. Not only did they locate the leak, but they fixed it for us in a way that will make any future problems easier to deal with - and they were super quick about it!

Mary KnollI had some extensive plumbing repairs done on September 9th, 2019.It involved taking all the cast iron pipes out of the basement and replacing them with pcv. Also had to remove 2 toilets and replace the pipe for those and had to cut through walls. They replaced the tiles and paneling in record time.Dave the plumber and Jeff, his assistant arrived at 7:30 AM, right on time.They were both so professional and very hard working. I had to call the emergency line for Bieg Plumbing last night. Mike returned my call promptly and provided great directions and suggestions on what to do until someone could come out to inspect my hot water heater. This morning, Alice and Judy were instrumental in scheduling an appointment the same day while also working around my limited availability. Dominick, Project Manager, called me promptly at 2pm to confirm if I was still available at 2:30pm. Dominick showed up on time and was absolutely amazing! At first, he thought that I needed a new hot water heater. But, he patiently listened to my explanation about what had occured and also took the time to answer all of my questions related to the issue. Given the additional information from our conversation, Dominick discovered that the water around my hot water heater had come through a shared wall with a neighbor who is having issues with her washing machine. Final outcome, Dominick saved me from having to spend $2,050 on a new hot water heater and also discussed the situation with my neighbor. I am truly grateful for Dominicks professionalism, patience and outstanding communication skills!! I would definitely recommend Bieg Plumbing to anyone, especially if you are in the south county area.

The plumber came out to look at our sprinkler system pipes. He ordered a part and when it came in, returned to replace it. I bought a new State Industries Water heater (made by AO Smith) and it was installed by another plumbing contractor. Three weeks after the installation the thermostat went bad. The original plumbing contractor was not an authorized repair company for State/AO Smith and wouldnt repair it saying I need to call the manufacturer for warranty repairs. The Manufacturer gave me Bieg plumbing. I called them. They were helpful and courteous. They sent their W/H repair tech named Joe. He looked at it, went to his truck, brought back a new thermostat and in no time had it replaced. We have hot water again! My thanks to Bieg Plmbg and Joe and the office staff!

Although the technician was very friendly and seems like a really good guy, I was completely misguided on the cost of this job. I received a quote previously from another company for $750 for sewer cleanout, and thought that was high. So, I contacted Bieg, they sent out their technician who scoped the situation and gave me a quote between $500 and $600. I said ok, Ill move ahead with your company. We then waited an hour for another guy to show up with equipment. When he showed up the vacuum equipment didnt work, so we waited another 45 min to an hour for him to drop off the vacuum and come back with...a shop vac. Finally they are able to suck up the debris, and clean up. The whole ordeal lasted 4 hrs (a little over an hour of which was actual labor, with an hour of loading and unloading), and I was charged just under $1000!! That was almost double my quote. I will never use this company again.**The owner reached out to me when he became aware of the situation and honored the technicians original quote. I appreciate his resolution to the matter and have amended my review of the company
