After calling around for a few quotes and availability, I ended up going with ruan heating air & plumbing for as reasonable a quote as possible ($800 for a motor change in middle of the Summer) and they were the fastest at responding and being able to get out to us. The job took about an hour or two including diagnostics and change, and we were fixed and back to cool air, so a big thanks to the technician who was busy and had a tight work schedule for fitting us in. Also want to note that the team was knowledgeable in general, unlike another company who tried to refer us to a commercial partner just because the AC was located at a business. Having said that, the AC was a typical roof unit that cooled the on-site residence apartment and was NOT used for commercial purposes and cooled a typical floorplan of less than 900 square feet. Both the scheduler and technician both understood the residential purposes and proceeded to offer their help, which is shocking for the other company to reject our request simply because of the location without taking into account the actual use of the equipment. We greatly thank ruan heating air & plumbing and would recommend them to others anytime!

Our HVAC system went down twice this year and RUAN saved us on both occasions. The first time the fan stopped spinning, and the other time the capacitor went out; both times during 100+ heat. RUAN technicians came the very next day on both of these calls. Funny to say this about an HVAC company, but RUAN is truly compassionate to rush out to Folsom knowing that we were suffering without AC. They fixed our system with no issues and took the time to explain what happened, how they fixed it, and answered our questions. Im glad we found RUAN. Im impressed with their knowledge, customer service and professionalism. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of an HVAC company.
