Brian Chandler of Chandler Inspections completed an inspection for my new home on 02-28-22. As a first time home owner, I felt a sense of ease and confidence on this new journey following the inspection walk-through. I come from a family of homeowners, but no one had prepared us for this step. During the inspection, I realized that there were so many aspects of home ownership that I was ignorant about, but by the end of the inspection, I knew that we were in good hands. Brian was punctual, professional, very knowledgeable, and patient when answering questions. I would highly recommend this business!Brian was thorough in his findings, and detailed in his explanations regarding the status of my pending home. I was appreciative that he used language I could understand, and that he used pictures or pointed out examples in real time to support me as a visual learner. Further, the inspection report was delivered the same day following the inspection as he stated it would, and the report was easy to follow and comprehend.Last, I want to mention that our realtor was able to attend the walk-through of the property virtually, and she was extremely impressed by Brians presentation and delivery. As a realtor of 7 years, she noted that in comparison to the other inspectors she was currently recommending in the Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids area, Brian impressed her the most as he was thorough, detailed, knowledgeable, approachable, and an excellent communicator, and believe it or not, she commented that these traits were rare in inspections as some contractors just did not take the time to thoroughly explain the concerns or recommendations to her clients. It was an 1800’s house (so there was definitely going to be things wrong with it).
