Joe from The Local Electrician came out to help me diagnose and fix an issue with my outdoor outlets not working. I could not locate the GFCI inside the garage to reset it. Joe was friendly and patient. He used a device to help locate the GFCI. Joe gave recommendations on a few things to help get my electrical system running at its best. Very pleased with the job! Sean was great and understood the job perfectly, even made the proposal better than the minimum requirements I needed at the same price. He gave me a quote (it was less than I anticipated and very reasonable) and an hour later Lee came and did the install. The work was marvelous, very well done. I required a new exterior outlet and dedicated circuit running from one side of the house to the other side where the breaker box is located. The necessary conduit work looks super clean and well integrated into the exterior with minimal visible impact. Lee worked diligently and efficiently, it was a big job and it was all done same-day at great price. The outlet looks super cool and Im really happy with the work. Highly recommend this place!

Sean inspected my request for service, was extremely detailed with my questions about installation of two exterior floodlights. On the day of installation I was unable to meet at the agreed time due to an unexpected work meeting. I contacted the office and they adjusted the time for installation. Lee the service technician arrived on time reviewed with me the request for service, presented all the necessary materials. Lee was careful not to bring debris into my home wearing booties over his shoes. Lee began and finished the installation within 2 +hours. Lee walked with me to inspect the installation asked if I had questions and was I satisfied with the installation. Lee was competent and customer focused during the time of installation. Lastly, Lee shared should any issues arise to contact the office to correct any concerns. I definitely would call The Local Electrician for any future electrical work.

This was the best Electrician experience I have ever had. Chelsea helped me set my appointment and kindly answered all of my questions. Joe was on time and called me about 30 minutes before he arrived. Joe was respectful and friendly. He patiently and honestly described my options. Joe did a great job at a reasonable price. It was hot in my garage and the mosquitoes were bad with garage door up, but Joe was always pleasant and his work was the best. After finishing Joe explained how best to use my new switch and outlets. Thanks to Joe and Chelsea, I now use a box fan to cool my garage and blow away the mosquitoes.

These guys did a great job for 1/3 less than another bid I got from a well-known company that advertises a lot on local TV. Sean came out for the estimate and was very thorough in explaining everything. Lee and his helper did the work on the scheduled day and everything went very smoothly. They replaced the entire 200 amp panel with a very neat and professional installation. I recommend this contractor highly.

I cant say enough good things about these guys!. I had 3 different electric companies come to my house to give me a price estimate for the light fixtures I needed to install. The first was one of the big companies and they basically told me that I had to break the bank and get new everything, that my house was on the verge of getting set on fire by Lightning and surges. Im a new home owner and dont know much about these things so after that scare (and the super high price) I decided to do my research and look into some good family run smaller businesses that may be a little more honest with me regarding the work that needed to be done and the installation of my lights. Someone more consumer oriented. I found two really good companies, one of them was Matthew Arnold, the owner of the local electrician who personally greeted me and was really honest and friendly. He made me feel much more at ease and told me that I was not in danger but only needed a few things updated to be safe at home. He also gave me a good price for the installation of the fixtures and answered all my questions and concerns. He and his college Lee were here yesterday and they were very good! Efficient and friendly!. Im very happy about my choice and Im sure that if anything should go wrong Ill have an honest and hard working professional to turn to!. Thank you Matthew!

Great Company. I was looking for an electrician to replace my 9 smoke detectors. When googling companies in the area, The Local Electrician had a small number of reviews, but all were very positive, so I gave them a call and very happy I did. They were very prompt in returning my call, gave me a 3 hour window for an appointment and had the courtesy to call me 30 minutes into the window letting me know they would be here toward the end of the window. Very professional and efficient while installing the detectors at a fair price. I will definitely be using them again for future electrical needs.

We had been trying to get an electrician out from a service we used to use. They kept putting us off. I looked for another service and found The Local Electrician. They came out the next day and accessed the problem and discussed the solution and the price. They were ready to do the job the next day - we had to have our entire electrical panel replace due to age issues. We were not available and they came on our next available time. They were on time and very professional. The price was reasonable and the service performed was up to code - no issues. I will definitely use them in the future. They are my new electrician for sure.

Im so glad I called The Local Electrician. Ive seen their truck in my neighborhood before and decide to give them a call when my electricity was going haywire. They responded immediately & were at my house within a few hours. I had a dropped neutral that required new under ground lines to be installed from transformer to meter box. Sean explained the whole process and worked hard to get it fixed as soon as possible. He was very knowledgeable and answered my questions in a way that I could understand. As a homeowner, you never know when youll need an electrician but Im glad I know to call The Local Electrician when I do.

Super polite and professional (which is rare for a lot of contractors) on my first call over to them. They had an appointment that had freed up the very next day so I booked the time slot on the spot.The next day, on time, Edgar called me to let me know he was 15-minutes away. He arrived promptly, had on PPE due to COVID-19 but pulled his mask down temporarily (as a courtesy) outside the door so we could see his face for safety reasons.Edgar then proceed to go over the diagnostic process, the flat fee that covered the diagnostic and any minor repairs (any major fixes are TBD fees of course). We agreed to the terms and he proceed to go to work on it. He found the issue quickly (home builder wired a 3-way switch incorrectly) and proceeded to fix the wiring.During the entire process, Edgar patiently educated me on the issues he found, and explained to me in details what he would do to correct the issues which was highly appreciated just because I love to learn new things (student for life). Definitely a well deserved 5-stars for Edgar and The Local Electrician! I just saved their phone numbers for any of my future electrical related issues and needs.
