I’ve used them over a year now and, without exception, every employee from appointment admins to service personnel have been exceptional, professional, polite, and knowledgeable. They take time to explain things and are patient with questions. They are detailed and considerate of your property. We had Edgar A. out today to service our units and he was an HVAC ALL-STAR. Hunter and Joe were awesome. They installed an electrical box on the exterior of my home very quickly. I thought the project might take several hours but they were done in about 1 hour. Everything looks neat and clean and the siding is well sealed. They were both friendly and polite. Reasonable price too. Highly recommend.

We found ourselves out of power on one of the coldest nights of the year so far at 9 pm. After a couple of phone calls, it was suggested that we call Davis & Green. The lady that answered the phone was super pleasant and got us on the schedule for an emergency visit. We were told what the costs would be up front during that first call, which was refreshing. After a few texts, the tech on call reached out. We discussed our problem and he headed our way. That night he was able to get half the panel box up and working so we had electric in the back bedrooms. We agreed to the up front price for replacing our electrical panel the next day and he left, only to return a brief time later and go back to work. He managed to work a miracle and get the power back on - heat included - for the night, so we were comfortable. He showed up on time the next day, worked efficiently and got the job done. Not only were both the people we dealt with super nice, but very professional. We were given up front pricing that was rock solid and no additional things tacked on. Definitely recommend, definitely would do business with again.

Davis & Green electricians Alex Haines and Moose did a great job repairing our attic ceiling fan. When our roof was replaced, the new replacement fan was never reconnected. I was very impressed that Moose could reach the top of my two-story attic ceiling and make the repair. The fan is working great! Our attic is now staying cool. I would highly recommend Davis & Green. Thank you for job well done!

Scott came on Tuesday 12/17 to provide me with an estimate to replace my 1st floor furnace. Since the price was so good, I decided to also replace the A/C unit and the water heater at the same time - all were quite old from 2002. Scott was clear, knowledgeable, and professional in providing me with the best estimate possible. We scheduled the installation for Thursday 12/19. Communication from the home office on Thursday was timely letting me know the team was on the way first thing. James, Edward, and Nick showed up on time ready to work. They all worked together helping each other out when needed but all 3 had their tasks and they worked efficiently to complete the work. They explained the work to me when I inquired and were always patient and professional. They completed the work on time and made sure to clean up their work space as they found it. I could go on about the excellent work that this team did. I would recommend James, Edward and Nick anytime. Also, I found the Company that I will continue to give my business. Davis and Green will be handling my home needs going forward. Thanks to the entire team for your service.

If you have a generator, you should have D&G to keep it running. Ive been using them for 10 years for annual maintenance, and occasionally for repairs. They are friendly, efficient, and easy to work with. Ive had several techs over the years, and all have been good. This year Nae was especially wonderful. Why buy a generator if you arent going to make sure it works when you need it.

This is my first experience with Davis & Green, and I was very impressed. My upstairs heat pump unit wasn’t working. Chris L. came out and was extremely friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He thoroughly explained the work he was going to do before he did it to diagnose the issue, including sharing what he thought was the problem. Once he determined the problem and course of action, Chris explained to me what he was going to do to repair the issue. He also shared a range of service options that included the most basic “get it fixed as cheaply and quickly as possible“ to completing the repair and adding annual service agreements for both heat pumps.I appreciated Chris L.’s professionalism, courtesy, and thorough explanations. I highly recommend David & Green, and I would request Chris L to return to my home for future services and repairs.

Jack and Josh, electricians from Davis and Green, answered a service call to check smoke alarms, fix 2 outlets, check fuse box, hard wire doorbell to enable “Ring” doorbell to function, which required going into crawl space to correct connections—overall electrical check up. I mentioned my oven was not working to which a response was “maybe just a coil needed to be replaced” which was helpful to me. Everyone I encountered at Davis and Green: Jack and Josh and the women who answered the phone…. Kind, professional, easy to work with….a step above. Fees are reasonable. Highly recommend Davis and Green!

What did I do before getting acquainted with Davis & Green. It all started with my HVAC system. No air up & downstairs & heat had to be replaced. A knowledgeable technician came out to look at my systems & explained everything in detail (which I love) the issues with my old systems & the benefits of replacing them. Today Luke & Aidan took care of my issue of continous running water in tank of the commode. No matter who is sent for what job, the techs are exceptional. So polite & professional at all times. They never leave a mess, they make sure to let you know what was done, & check to see if you know how everything works. My wife and I wanted to thank Mike Lewis from Davis & Green for such a great experience. Our air conditioning had gone out and the thermostat wasn’t communicating with the unit outside so we placed a call for an emergency service. Mike arrived very quickly and was professional and thorough. He found that our drain lines were clogged which tripped a failsafe to shut the unit off. Mike educated us on the importance of semi-annual maintenance and also showed us how to clean the pipes ourselves. He turned our emergency situation into the best possible scenario that could’ve played out. He was very knowledgeable, honest, and was very down to earth. They arrived on time and were courteous, efficient, and professional. I have the utmost confidence in their work.Had another good visit from Davis and Green today. They immediately diagnosed the different problems on my two sinks and were able to remedy them quickly and efficiently, despite the fact they had to scour the city to find a part for one of them. The technicians were very aware of not tracking their wet shoes into the house as it had been raining during the morning. They were engaging, courteous and professional. Updated: 11-16-24I first had service with them in 2023. I needed to get my generator up and running. I was having a hard time finding someone who would come out and even look. Everyone these days (whether it be fridge, dishwasher, whatever) wants you to replace, not repair. They communicated well. I always receive a text in advance of the tech who is coming with their picture. For anyone with a family or kids, thats a definite safety plus. The repair was a controller board. For some reason, it never worked properly post-repair. Could have been a faulty part. It certainly happens.At first, I had some challenges reaching the right person in the office to discuss my issue. However, I eventually heard from the owner. I was impressed with the fact that she cared enough to contact me herself and that she was determined to resolve this issue. Within a couple of days, a tech came out to figure out what was wrong. It was indeed the controller board. Davis & Greene came back out and replaced the controller board for free.I am genuinely impressed by the following things:1. Service: that is one of the most important things to me as a customer. I want to know I can trust the people I get repairs from. Weve all been screwed over at one time or another. Trust is everything. I have a trusted appliance repair person, a trusted auto mechanic, and I can with confidence add D&G to my list as my trusted generator people. When it comes time to replace, it will be with them.2. Owner investment of time & care: one thing that often destroys a good business (especially a smaller one) is that the owners become disengaged from the business. Employees can sometimes take that as permission to lower the standards b/c its not going to affect them (directly, but eventually you reap what you sow).3. Courtesy of their techs: both techs I met were courteous and respectful. They didnt make me feel like they were doing me a favor by being there.4. Punctuality.At first, when the repair hadnt worked and there was some misunderstanding between me and whoever at that time had answered the phone, I thought I had been had. Davis & Greene showed me that if I make sure Im talking to the right person, they will do what is needed to make it right.

I always knew Davis & Green were the best! They have been takin care of my generator for maybe 15 years or more. Then, I found out they do plumbing, and they came almost immediately we both my toilets broke at once. Fantastic work both times! Yesterday, they installed “hot water on demand” to perfection. The were courteous, efficient, great wonderful people. I now have a maintenance contract for all my needs with them, including my gas fireplace. My only regret is that I didn’t do this years ago. PS I’ve referred them to others, who have given me rave reviews about their work.Noah is the smartest electrician I’ve ever met. He saved my life! He figured out that we had a light bulb that was too many watts and could have burned our house down. He is also smart to figure out our power and the generator re: the tankless hot water heater! Noah is a keeper.

I also spoke with Keith, and Justin on the phone, and they as well as Devin gave clear and helpful communication and direction throughout the whole process. I didnt catch the name of the woman who took my initial call and got my info but she was very reassuring and happy to help.Even the automated line of communication is set up to be so helpful, sending you texts for updates and quick questions to help the technician start getting an idea of what they will be working on as they make their way over.Things like this cost what they cost. I canceled an appointment with another company because D&G were able to come sooner. The difference in Davis & Greens quote was miniscule given the experience I just had. Im talking $20 dollar difference between one saying theyd maybe arrive within 48 hours to Let me see...ok Devins on his way.Ive had terrible work done on my house because I went with the cheap option. And Ive paid far more in the long run to rehire another company to fix someone elses bad job, and the fix it jobs being mediocre half the time. Its unnerving to not know what kind of service youll get when youre shopping cheap.I wont hesitate to call the Davis & Green guys to service my home again.I know this sounds like such a review thing to say, but its seriously no wonder why you see a red truck with the cute octopus house on the road anytime you go anywhere. The light fixture that I chose to have installed was not an easy task (weird fixture and difficult placement), but they got the done job and even cleaned up and disposed of the large box for us afterwards. We will definitely use them for future electrical needs!

We had a total blockage of our sewer system that could have been horrible, but wasn’t, due to the timely and thorough response from technicians from Davis and Green. It took quite a bit of work, late into the evening, for them to get our system cleared and running smoothly, primarily due to our aged pipes, both in our house (built in 1945!) and the ones out into our equally aged community. They followed up for some hours the next day as well, to ensure we wouldn’t have a repeat of the problem. A great deal of thanks go out to Lawrence, Mike and Ed - and there were others whose names I’m sorry I didn’t catch. Thank you all, so much!

I cant say enough good things about the service from Davis and Green. We had a major electrical emergency at our home. They sent Jack, the electrician, to the house after hours to make sure we were safe through the night. In the morning the same electrician came and spent the entire day replacing the entire circuit panel in less than optimal conditions. He did the repairs with utmost care and kindness. The electrician was considerate and reassuring. The added bonus was the communication from the company! I received updates with pictures of who would be coming to the house and when they would arrive. This is the company to use!

I did not receive service from them, however wanted other users to be aware that a credit card is required to be on file before they will come out for an appointment, and a service charge is required for the visit even if you do not have the work done. I personally did not feel comfortable with this practice, so I did not make the appointment. They were courteous on the phone.
