I needed a second ethernet line added and Mickey was the perfect person to do the work. Mickey and Derrick came to the house initially to get an idea of the work involved. They offered options and were thorough in scoping things out. When Mickey came back the next week to do the work, he was on time (just like the 1st visit). He was professional and optimistic! His work was fast, clean and perfectly completed and in less time than expected. Thank you so much!

Weve been relying on Babcon for over 10 years now. Theyve come out for 3 or 4 jobs over that time, and the service and workmanship has been consistently excellent. Micky is very knowledgeable, but he is also very patient in explaining the work that needs doing and the alternatives available. We highly recommend them for all electrical contracting.

I apologize for this lengthy review but if you’re looking for help I felt it was warranted and well worth the time to write and read.I would like to start off by saying that I work at Winchester-Clark County Parks and Recreation. Our Natatorium has two pools, a therapy pool and a 6 lane 25 Yard competition pool. There are 47 lights installed. Recently the lights started going out, sometimes several at once. Our Maintenance staff would replace them but only days would go by and they went out again. We were down to 23 operational lights of the 47 installed. We had consulted with several local electricians with little success. One never showed up at all and two didn’t return our calls (in all honesty we try our best to use local vendors if our staff can’t fix it themselves). One electrician did return our call and his assessment was that there could be wires behind the wall that were broken and the light sockets could be corroded which may be causing the lights to go out.Wanting a second opinion, we contacted Babcon Electrical which was recommended from a parent on our swim team. I called Babcon and they worked with our schedule to set up an appointment at OUR earliest convenience. They arrived early and were very professional. They gave us some general ideas of what they thought the problem might be and concluded their visit. After some discussion with our Board of Directors, we chose Babcon to come back to do the job. The day of the job they were early and went right to work! In a very short time they diagnosed the problem (not wiring or corrosion) and started fixing it. They even retrofitted our old lights to LED for more efficiency. Before the end of the business day the lights were fixed and they had cleaned up and were gone! It’s hard to find people with (A) up to date technology, (B) the knowledge to update older equipment, (C) the ability to make your equipment more energy efficient and last longer with their knowledge and expertise in their field, (D) the materials and man power to do such a huge job in ONE day.We did not lose one day of pool activity due to their presence. I can tell you we will solely use Babcon Electrical for Parks and Recreation and I plan to use them personally!! Thanks for all of your help!If you are looking for expertise, reliability, someone trustworthy, and you get what you pay for, I strongly recommend you call Babcon Electrical!! MICKEY RHODESThis man is an outstanding representative for your company.2/11/21 - Our main circuit breaker fails during an ice storm. We called Babcon and they sent Mickey Rhodes to help us. He determined that our main had gone bad and needed to be replaced. This required that our electric meter be disconnected, but the actual power company had to do it. so, we had to wait for an already swamped power company to pull the meter. Mickey acquired the needed part and dropped it of at our house, in case he and his company were unavailable, we would have the part for someone else to do the job.The following day, 50 degrees in the house and we are still waiting for the power company. Mickey calls at approximately 8 am TO SEE HOW WE WERE DOING AND WHAT THE STATUS WAS WITH THE POWER COMPANY. He managed to get a power worker over to pull the meter so he could replace our main and restore power to our house.BABCON...MICKEY RHODES IS A STAR WITHIN YOUR COMPANY!Thank you, Mickey. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed and are very appreciated.
