Matt is a lifesaver.A couple nights ago I heard a loud crash from my kitchen, a quick search found that my undermount sink had fallen into the cabinet belowI called American Mains and Drains, and Matt responded quickly. He was great to work with, and while we were figuring out what options to take for fixing the problem he made sure I had a sink and dishwasher working in the meantime.He reinstalled the undermount, and fixed a drain issue I didnt realize I had from before the crash.Very happy with my service, and will use again!

Our previous sink, we couldnt even get clean without Barkeepers Friend, and it was very hard to wash pans because they didnt fit.Also, we kept losing pressure with the hot water and our garbage disposal was poorly installed and about to rust through.We found American Mains and Drains on Thumbtack. Matt did a beautiful job reworking the plumbing (giving us more workable space under the sink), replaced our garbage disposal unit with a quieter one that has more power, and as you can see, replaced our sink. He even hunted down a faucet with the feature we really liked about our old faucet. Oh, and he even got the soap dispenser working and showed us how its supposed to be filled!Matt is friendly and professional and has an excellent work ethic.Well definitely go to American Mains and Drains for our future plumbing work.

Awesome Service!!!Our hot water went out just days before family and friends coming in for the holidays. I called multiple companies that morning, and all of them told me it would be a week or longer before they could come out. When I called AMD, they scheduled an appointment for that afternoon. Ive been a landlord for over 10 years and it can be hard to find a reasonably priced, reliable, knowledgeable professional plumber, but Matt is truly a pleasure to work with. My first call came after our tenants water tank failed and I was traveling out of state. Matt was incredibly communicative, sending pictures, video and calling multiple times to make sure I understand the issues addressed and his recommendations. I am not a plumber, so I appreciated the depth of knowledge and patience he had fielding all of my questions. More recently, I called him when both of my tenants had unrelated hot water issues. He was able to get to the house quickly and spent a considerable amount of time going above and beyond the required repairs - to include calling the city to come and replace the street valve outside the property used to secure water which was in disrepair (none of which was reflected in my bill). He is not the cheapest, but my experience is that the average handyman/low cost plumber wont take the time and effort to communicate clearly all of the issues, provide explanations, trouble shoot thoroughly, and go the extra mile to make sure the job is 100% resolved. I would rather pay a little more for quality and amazing service!!! Thanks Matt.

Our toilet bowl was filling up continuously and I kept having to fill buckets to dump them before it filled back up again- as well as the bathtub wasn’t draining and had whatever water stagnant. Now luckily just the tub not draining and the toilet being iffy only went on for about a day, and then annoyingly the toilet filling up lasted about a half hour.Fast forward to Mr Ryan assessing the situation and quickly solving the problem. Matt was able to come the the next morning and got the toilet, and a number of damaged pipes back on track. The whole reason we took the DIY approach was for fear of overpriced services.
