A part of my home recently lost power and after troubleshooting everything I could, I decided to call in a professional. I was able to get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time after calling several companies who never responded. The electrician was courteous and easily found the root cause of the problem (which was simple enough, but I likely wouldnt have caught it myself).After the simple repair, the electrician also helped make recommendations on how I could improve the electrical load balance in my kitchen. Id use them again for future projects.

We had two home alarms beeping and I couldnt turn them off. Very annoying!! I called several electricians but they didnt do low voltage problems. I then called West Side Electric and the receptionist found Jason Bliss who came to the house after a short period of time. Jason is a very nice young man who fixed our problem within 10 minutes!! The electrician, L****n, was very easy to work with, and did a superb job - even getting the wire fished through a plenum to avoid any surface mounting, and using the 6/2 NM-B wire I had on hand. Cameron from Westside Electric did some major electrical troubleshooting and work for us in 2023.When we had some new electrical issues from a remodel arise in 2024, we called Westside specifically for Cameron to help us again.It wasnt an easy access repair. The repair would have been easier to do if a large section of drywall was cut out and removed. But that would have added additional work and cost to us.Cameron and Porter from Westside Electric overcame the access issue and repaired and restored our electrical power in minimal time and with no additional repairs being needed.We highly recommend Westside Electric.Theyve solved our electrical issues quickly and effectively, twice.

I was referred to West Side Electric by PGE for an EV Level 2 home charger installation recently. After a quick introduction and providing some photos I had a very reasonable quote and options to choose between. Glenn did a phenomenal job making sure he answered all my questions and was happy to discuss my needs not just now, but options for years to come for our electric needs. Tech came the day promised, when promised, was a total professional and helped explain once again options for now and later. Job was delivered as quoted, we now have a new Enel X Juicebox 40 Amp Level 2 Charger up and working flawlessly in our garage. Couldn’t be happier! I’ve found “My Electrician”.

Knob and Tube abatement workI have a 1907 home that needed the KnT removed for insurance purposes.Im somewhat handy myself and could have done some of it but it was a big job and most of the remaining KnT was difficult to access - wires running between 2 floors to service downstairs lights and upstairs floor plugs.For this kind of work you need not only a knowledgeable electrician, but someone skilled in dealing with remodel work and older homes to minimize the wall patching needed after a job of this kind.These guys were recommended to me by an electrician friend of mine and they were everything I could have hoped for.I had thought about this job a lot before engaging anyone and knew the issues pretty well - everyone I dealt with really know their job. They understood and could answer every question I had.Levi the estimator was knowledgeable, professional, thorough, and ACCURATE.Cameron the installer was great. On time, great communicator, very skilled. We talked a lot and he was personable and could answer every question I threw at him. He was very considerate - I saw him take hours extra making difficult-to-fish routes inside the walls where it would have been much easier and faster to cut more holes in my walls.Another testament to their reputation - when the inspector came I was walking him through all the work that was done and I commented on how quickly he was progressing and he said he knew these guys and they do excellent work.Based on my experiences, the owners obviously treat their people well here.I highly recommend them!

On the installation day, things went VERY smoothly and I was very impressed with the speed and quality of the work. Im now able to quickly charge my Hyundai Ionic 5 and its great!

Used them years ago for an outside outlet and the electrician suggested a fix that was easier and cheaper than what we thought wed have to do. Yay! So of course we called them for our latest problem. I went to change the bulb in our double oven (simple enough right...wrong) After changing the bulb I went to plug the stove back into the outlet and pooof.Electical arc and we were done for. I called West Side in a panic they got an electrician over to us right away. He replaced the 220v outlet and even went so far as to replace the cord from the stove which actually caused the short. I recently purchased an EV vehicle and needed to have an EV home charger in my garage. I had concerns about adding a charger in my older home and overloading the electrical panel. I had spoken with another company and did not feel that my questions were adequately answered. I then contacted PGE to see if they could offer any recommendations to help me with my needs. They offered me four different companies that they work with and after speaking with West Side Electrical. After speaking with Glen, I felt very comfortable in my choice to work with them.I ended up having other things done as well as replacing my electrical box and having the charger installed. The electricians were prompt, explained what they were doing , cleaned up after finishing up the job. When the inspector came to check on the job, he said they did a nice job with electrical box, everything was labeled and easy for him to locate everything they did.I would highly recommend West Side Electrical for future needs. I have also mentioned their name to a design company that I have used in the past.
