We recently had My Handyman come to install kitchen cabinets that we ordered from Lowes, as well as install our microwave, and fix a small part of our exterior siding. We had an amazing experience and would recommend them to anyone. Duane did an amazing job installing our cabinets, and we could tell he had great attention to detail. They helped us problem solve some unique challenges with our space, and we are so happy with how it turned out. The administrative team was so nice and helpful every step of the way too! We will definitely be using them for future projects.

We recently used Mr. Handyman to clean the gutters of our very tall house within tight quarters of our neighbors on the East End in Portland. The moment I called to inquire and schedule the job I experienced efficient, friendly and professional interaction. The communication was top notch and I even received a text with a picture and background of the technician coming to do the job. The text also let me know when he would arrive and I was able to live track his location as he was heading to my home. Luke was our technician and he couldn’t have been more professional as well as polite and he got right to work. In this day and age when finding and hiring contractors is so difficult this was a very pleasant experience and I would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience, meeting or exceeding all expectations. We had technician Karl to our home for a multi-day project removing old wall tile (1950s plastic tile covering the bottom half of the kitchen and adjacent hallway walls) and replacing with beadboard. Karl successfully installed the beadboard in and around several odd nooks and crannies. All this was topped off with a coat of paint, including new paint for the existing trim and doors adjacent to the beadboard. Karl was also extremely professional and pleasant to have in our home for the project duration. Office staff was helpful and responsive when developing the scope and cost of the project. Thank you!

Mr. Handyman and the services they provided far exceeded our expectations. We had been struggling for months to find anyone to even give us an estimate for a much needed bathroom remodel in a single bathroom home. Mr. Handyman provided us with a very reasonable estimate at half the cost of any others we received. Duane, our technician, was outstanding and the type of person who you hope would be the one to do your remodel. He is an extremely talented and knowledgeable individual. When incorrect materials were delivered and the correct ones not in stock he quickly was able to provide a solution that delivered a bathroom far better than we ever imagined. When we ran into issues with more time needed as well as questions we found Julia , the Office Manager, to be very responsive and understanding that with a one bathroom home timing is extremely important. We would highly recommend Mr. Handyman!

I hired Mr Handyman to rebuild a custom shower including removing the old shower pan and wall tiling, repiping the shower drain, and building a new tiled shower enclosure with waterproof framing around a skylight. Their front office is staffed with friendly and knowledgeable people who understood the project and staffed it quickly with a skilled professional who arrived on time each day and made great progress with minimal disturbance to the apartment. When the builder became sick on the third day of the project the front office got another person out to the site with barely a half day lost, and the project was still completed within a week. The folks who Mr Handyman sent out to the project were really easy to talk to about the work and they knew exactly what they were doing. The finished shower is gorgeous.

Mr Handyman was great to work with. They make the process of getting a quote simple, their scheduling was easy, and the service was great. The staff at the office is friendly. They let you know when a tech is on the way and who is coming before they arrive. They sent a man named Garrett who was respectful, a problem solver, a hard worker and generally good at what he does. He cleaned up at the end of each visit was also great with dogs. You might be able to find a more affordable option, but the professionalism and reliability made for a headache free experience which I thought was worth it. Garrett did a lot of different finish work and a tiling project in my home and I’m very happy with the results. I will likely call Mr. Handyman in the future.

Service tech Paul Vaillancourt was wonderful. He did an outstanding job installing 2 large windows in our cellar. I would warn that when you have your estimate done, make sure the rep knows exactly what you want. I assumed he knew we wanted the same size windows on each side, but the existing windows were measured instead of the rough opening, so I ended up with 2 different sizes. Not exactly what I wanted, but Paul made it look great anyway. I would and have recommended Mr. Handyman and wouldnt hesitate to call them again if needed.

Our most recent project together was to replace a failed wooden fence running across my backyard. Holy Wow -- I am kind of particular but not excessively so for a thing that Ill be looking at for years -- at least I dont think so! But it was very time consuming to get a fence style I liked that did not break my bank. Julia their manager was willing to do so much back and forth with me I felt like i was her only customer. At one point she went over to Home Depot personally to check out a sample Id seen and liked but which she was having trouble getting info on. And finally she sourced some lovely lumber at a local family owned lumberyard that saved me a huge amount of money. Installation was speedy and tidy and on time and all the things you want. The fence builder men were friendly and capable and my fence looks great. Super happy with this job. (And yes, they cut out a piece of fence to accomodate the tree and it is beautifully supported on the other side.)
