Gerryn brings the Juice! Incredible value. The team worked fast and neat, accurately and expertly completing our project under time and under budget, even making some suggestions that improved the aesthetics. The team was courteous, left the areas they worked on in great shape, neat as a pin. I almost wish I had more electrical work to be done just to work with the team again!The quote process was fast and painless and resulted in a precise estimate. We added on some small, additional fixes based on the rates and we were very glad that we did. Our house is relatively old and had a variety of different problems, all of which were easily diagnosed and fixed by Gerry and the team. We also added some electrical to new areas and I’m really happy with how it turned out.We hadn’t worked with an electrician before now, but I absolutely know who we are using next time!

We worked with Gerry in updating light fixtures, adding outlets, installing fans, grounding throughout our house. He was receptive to all of my ideas, worked with me on identifying what was important and worked for my budget, and was very communicative through the whole process. He was also very patient with my questions and explained everything in a way that someone without his expertise could understand. He also was extremely patient with our dog who takes a minute to warm up to new people in our home. Overall, I would highly recommend Gerry and his team for your electric needs.

I had a great experience start to end with Gerryn. I needed 2 sockets put in the floor of the living room. From the onset of my experience, I was impressed. I was working with the business coordinator and I was texting with the owner Gerry himself to coordinate exactly what I needed done as well as timing, pricing, and all that. For me the pricing was very reasonable and straightforward.The two guys that came for the install, Gerry and his apprentice and they were awesome! My arrival window was 8am-8:30am. At 7:45am I got texted to say he was on the way. They arrived just after 8am which was perfect.They were communicative, thoughtful and clean. They took their shoes off everytime they walked into the house and made sure not to bring dirt up from the crawlspace.Overall, Im glad to say I found my go-to electricians when I need one in Portland.

Clear communication, attention to detail, super knowledgeable - all the things you need from a contractor working on your home.They fixed some outlets w/ reversed polarity, swapped some light fixtures to LED, and inspected the sub panel to ensure it was up to code all the while pulling permits and making sure the permit was approved and finaled.Highly recommend Gerryn Energy!!

When half of our houses power went out, Gerry was able to come out same day and diagnose the problem. He spent over an hour in a hot attic, without complaint, spreading 2 overloaded electrical boxes into 4. When one light switch still wasnt working he came back and fixed it, and even secured our the kitchens can lights (apparently they had never been secured in the attic and now they are snug on the ceiling). Above and beyond, amazing pricing, great person. Thanks Gerry!

He was absolutely amazing!!!! Great attitude, humbling person, and competent in the work! I needed help last minute before the family from out of state arrive and he was able to come and fix my situation within such a timely manner to ensure a cool house for my guests. He even helped educate us on what to do the next time it comes up again. So extremely helpful. While fixing my issue I also asked about another preexisting issue with one of my electric sockets and he was able to help fix that as well. He’s the MVP and truly saved me on this warm humid day. Gerry and Micah showed up yesterday to hook up my new mini-split. What a tremendous experience! Forget the fact they showed up on time, were professional and executed the plan perfectly... These guys brought great energy and even better vibes! Opening your home to strangers these days can be a little scary, but not only did I feel comfortable letting em in, Im hoping theyll come back just to hang, chit-chat and straight up chill! Although, I have not worked with Gerryn Energy directly, I can state they have the best customer service. I was looking for an electrician for a client and working under a tight deadline and short notice and my normal go-to’s did not service that area or were charging too much for such a small job due to the distance. I pulled up a list of electricians on the internet and started calling one-by-one. I was about 10 companies in (no one could fit us in, in time) when I called Gerryn Energy and Melissa answered the phone. They also couldn’t fit us in, but before I could get off the phone, Melissa had an electrician for me to call and a solution! Thank you Melissa, you saved the day for both me and my client and your referral did an excellent job! I have added Gerryn Energy and your referral to my list of “go to’s”.

Gerry is truly a great find. We needed an EV charger installed, and we had trouble finding someone who would take on that small of a job. Most people simply didnt respond to our requests at all. Gerry was quick to respond, bid a fair price and even worked with us on what we could afford, and his work was perfect. His communication was also on point - he regularly gave us updates while he was working about how long he had left, and he even moved our refrigerator back in place after he was done (which was totally unnecessary but so appreciated!). On top of that, hes just a nice guy. Thanks for the great work!

We had Gerryn Energy come and install an outside outlet for our new tankless water heater and covers for the old outlet sockets. Gerry did great work, was extremely nice and flexible. We were dependent on another contractor to come by before we could have Gerry do his work and Gerry was extremely kind when we had to tell him our other contractors were cancelling on us (this happened over 3 times... Gerry was very professional and kind! He came masked and wore booties as requested, which was super important to keep our disabled household safe. It was a plus that he wore a high quality kn95 too! A big plus for my covid safe community! I very much appreciated that! I also appreciated that he took his time to explain things to us since we were first-time home owners.After he finished his work, he cleaned up super well with his vacuum! He fixed a flickering light and changed an unreachable bulb for us. He also did a thorough consult about adding light fixtures. I definitely would recommend his services to the community! He also has a super cool yellow truck. We had a great experience with Gerryn Energy. We had been struggling to find an electrician who would install our EV Charge Point Home Flex unit. Once I contacted Gerryn Energy they were able to provide a quote the next day. They were understandably booked out a couple weeks but on the day of the appointment their office called ahead to let us know their ETA. They arrived in the scheduled appointment window and completed the install way faster than I had expected. Gerry and his associate were super nice and the charging unit is working like a charm. Gerry and his crew are fantastic! Very professional and knowledgeable. And no job is too small! We tried to replace our bathroom light on our own and ended up not having a working light and also inadvertently disconnected the only outlet in the bathroom! He very kindly took the time to explain to me what went wrong with the bathroom light and outlet. (Although well never try doing that ourselves again!) It was way more complicated than we could handle so were really glad there are experts out there like Gerry. We also had a non-working basement GFCI outlet (which was a mystery to us since the other outlets in the line worked) that Gerry expertly troubleshooted and repaired. It sounds like somebody in the past had done some creative wiring and Gerry corrected it! Gerry and Mike were also so sweet with our dog, who barks non-stop! Thank you! Gerryn energy is a gem and I lucked out finding them. Backstory: The electricity in one part of my house went out and resetting the breaker multiple times didnt do anything. The light switches and electrical outlets were all out. I panicked initially and went with another company (not Gerryn) that charged me hundreds for a guy come test the switches/plugs in that room, say yeah, its not working, and quote me thousands if I wanted to fix it. A learning experience! After that, I did some research and saw glowing reviews about Gerryn and reached out. They came a day or two later, figured out the issue same-day, and fixed it within an hour for a fraction of what the other company quoted me. And they were super nice and trustworthy--genuinely good people. Gerryn is the only business Id ever call for any electric issues in my home and I highly recommend them.

Gerry installed a new outlet in my garage and handled a few other issues we had while he was at it. He was really easy to communicate with throughout the whole process and gave me a lot of confidence that he knew what he was doing and took pride in his work. We ended up having a slight complication due to the quirkiness of our existing wiring and Gerry was super quick to respond and come back out to get everything working as expected. He also provided a great quote for an electric car charger we may want to have put in in the future. I hired them for a repair that I didn’t need in the end (which they brought to my attention so I didn’t need to spend unnecessary money) but also got a quote for a partial generator system to weather our power outages brought on by winter storms. I’ve seen Gary and his dedication to our neighborhood during our last winter ice storm. Gerry put out a call on social media stating he was available to aid with any neighbors power outages or electrical needs. In a time of distress when you fear you won’t be able to reach a business for help he was right there, boots on the ground to help neighbors out. Gerryn Energy is amazing, knowledgeable, and very trustworthy. I had many electrical issues in my house. They prevented my house from burning down. He went above and beyond to make sure all the burnt wires were properly replaced, replaced fixtures and outlets as well. He was extremely professional and although I asked for items that caused extra work, he never complained, did it all with a smile. He came out to fix some light switches for our house and he did it all within two hours which was very surprising to me ( in a good way) The team was excellent in scheduling within a timely manner. The electricians had to unscrew the flooring in the attic to track down where the lines were going; it turns out that my electrical was a hot mess of nightmare splicing, exposed wires, and bad breakers. In addition to restoring power, Gerryn Energy went the extra mile to fix several electrical problems that the previous owners caused with their bad DIY wiring, which may have saved my house from burning down in the future. The job was far more complex than expected, and the work day was almost over, but they didnt give up or charge extra for the time thanks to their flat fee pricing.They were courteous and professional, and obviously cared about doing a good job. Not only are these folks efficient and thorough, they’re so kind. I felt safe (having strangers in your home is scary) from start to finish, all our electrical issues were fixed and Gerry was very patient with me as I ‘oh wait there’s one more thing’d him for the second and third time…such an easy process and company to work with. Amazing service - had new outlets installed in my basement, new powered attic fan hooked up, and come circuits reorganized to eliminate flickering lights in my 1909 home and Gerry was great. Even had to find some oddball special order breakers for my breaker board and came back within a week of his original visit to get everything installed.100% would recommend and would use again.

Gerryn Energy is not only the best electric company I have worked with, but also one of the best contractors I have had the pleasure of doing business with. I stayed with Gerry, the owner and sole employee, through the entire wiring process to our new outdoor sauna and I am genuinely impressed with his work. Initially, he took the time to explain everything he was doing so I actually understand how the sauna heater is wired. We talked through a few options he saw as the best way to get the job done before he started to see what worked best for us. Through the entire job he was meticulous on keeping our house clean through the entire process, going as far to vacuum a good portion of the adjacent room to make sure no saw dust tracked in. And finally, the finished job looked and functioned exactly how we expected. For almost 1/3 of the cost of the other quotes we received, I highly recommend Gerryn Energy for any electric work needed.

Gerry is great! He replaced my electrical panel at a great price, and did an excellent job. In the middle of the replacement we discovered that we would need to cut and move a stud in the wall, and he went to extra effort to open up the wall for that process, and then carefully replaced insulation and drywall at the end, cut perfectly for the new panel. When he was done with the whole job, he swept and vacuumed everywhere hed walked, not just the immediate work area, and left the space cleaner than hed found it. Very friendly and professional, and highly recommended.
