    Young Electric has been to my home three times to install new chandeliers. They are professional and hard-working and a pleasure to have in the house. The light fixtures were picked out by a designer in San Francisco and are expensive, heavy, complicated and many were imported (instructions in Portuguese was a challenge!) To make things harder, many of the light switches in my home were defective or wired in strange ways. Young Electric did an incredible job with these installations.

    We had a short circuit with our pendant lights in the kitchen, the dimmer would not work and old electrician installed too many switches making it hard to pin down. We called Young Electric Monday morning 11/4 & Skylar& Charlie arrived early afternoon to address & fix the problem. They were friendly, so efficient & smart explaining the problem and how they would fix it!! Two hours later, all done and problem solved!! Would definitely recommend & use them again!!

    Young Electric bid out upgrading our electrical panel and service, moving our meter, and rewiring our kitchen and laundry room at a reasonable price, for a house that few were willing to touch due to its age and the scope of the work. All of their work passed the City rough in inspection with flying colors. Mark the Master Electrician was pragmatic, punctual and very communicative, as was their office staff. They were even able to bump up our project on their schedule when another big project got moved. The only hiccup was the electrical they ran for our laundry room went through the area of the ceiling we were planning to designate for the attic access panel, requiring us to move the panel. The location of the panel shouldve been noted on the building plans but it wasnt, which was not Young Electrics fault. Moving it was not a big deal for us. Quite happy with their service so far. Ill update this review once the final inspection is done in late April/early May.

    Brandon was super friendly and knew what he was doing, and he even taught me a couple things. I had a two new circuits run in the garage. Three new outlets on a 20 amp and a 240v 50 amp plug. The price was a bit high at $1300 but the quality and warranty cant be beat and Ill definitely hire young electric again when I need more electrical done.2023 edit: deducting a star after another electrician showed me some shoddy work inside the panel. One of the knock outs was so bent the collar didnt hold and 50amp wire was rubbing against a sharp metal edge.

    We contacted Young Electric to work on our outdoor deck to install lighting and heating. The customer service staff was ever so patient with us as we were also installing a waterproof ceiling to this project as well. This led to multiple calls/rescheduling of the project so both contractors could be around at the same time. There was miscommunication on the how of the installation between the two contractors resulting in a delay and a reinstallation of the ceiling panels (which the ceiling company comped but Young electric also offered to cover cost). The end project was well worth the confusion. They equipment (2 electric heaters and a light/fan) work perfectly! No problems at all. The cost was reasonable (about $2900) and the contractors showed up on time and ready to work.My only complaint if I really had to make one was for Young Electric to have a plan for their contractors to use the facilities during their time on a job. Expecting home owners during a pandemic to have them use theirs isnt very safe for either party. We felt bad declining the request but with an immunosuppressed person in the home we just couldnt take the risk.

    Young electric installed a 100 amp subpanel in my detached garage feeding a 48 amp electric car charger and a new branch circuit with lights and receptacles. This required trenching for a buried line from the main house, removal of the old overhead 15 amp line and reconfiguration of the meter base. The communication during the project and the quality of the finished work was top notch and the cost was very reasonable considering the amount of work. I will definitely use Young electric again!

    Adam was polite, knowledgeable, punctual, and just generally a joy to work with. The installation went very smoothly, and he was even able to run the wiring through the existing cover for our AC venting, which made a potential eyesore instead look sharp as heck. Scheduling was a breeze, and prices were very reasonable. If I need electrical work in the future, Young Electric will be my first call.

    I wanted an exterior light and outlet installed while wall opened up during siding replacement. Darin arrived exactly when expected, quickly understood what was wanted and working with siding guys efficiently installed the new wiring during the brief time wall opened up. He came back on short notice the next day to trouble shoot a short caused by a nail in new siding. I was impressed at how quickly he traced the short and then repaired it.

    As far as the service when they come out, it’s always good and they are knowledgeable. I gave 4 stars because my business was in serious trouble due to the our hot water not working to our dog grooming salon. I called to have someone come out in order for my business not to suffer greatly. I was told it would be two weeks before they could come look at the system they put in. I understand being busy. However, I own two businesses and whenever a client calls me and is in serious need of help, I figure it out.. because I care. I didn’t get that feeling.

    This is my 2nd time using Youngs Electric, and they were just as awesome as the first time. Josh took out my old fluorescent light fixture and installed a new one with ease! He was so sweet to my dog, and vacuumed up all of the debris with a smile. My email interactions with the office team were also just as pleasant! I love these guys and you should 100% use them!

    I had Mark and Lalo out to my place to install some lighting fixtures in my kitchen, and they finished fast and efficiently! Im a new home owner and expressed concerns of not knowing whats best for my place, so Mark was polite enough to survey my whole house to check if anything was out of sorts and found that my panel was out of code in addition to some other things and got me an estimate same day for it.The office crew contacted me by end of day to get the rest of the work done the next week! Electrician Oleg arrived within the expected time window for every appointment and worked through to completion without leaving the property, even for lunch.The people we have met have all been polite, prompt, and professional. Immediately on arrival ensured me they would treat my home as if it were theirs. Even mindful enough to ask if our household pets were indoor/outdoor so they could make sure the pets did not get out while they worked. Extremely helpful with additional suggestions on outlet or fixture placement while they worked. It was apparent throughout the process and our experience with Young Electric they viewed us as human beings who needed some electrical help first and customers second.     I just had Darin Adams install a range hood over our stove/oven!As always he is excellent! He is personable, professional and very responsive to our needs and he goes the extra mile to make his customers pleased.He has wonderful skills, lets you know when he will be arriving and does a get job of cleaning up when the work is completed. The office staff are great too!!!I have used Young’s Electric for a number of years and they are responsive, fair and really amazing! Darin Adams is the electrician I request but I know they are all great!You cannot go wrong using Young’s Electric especially if you are fortunate enough to have Darin do your work!!!This review is from a couple of years ago.This time I needed a dedicated plug added to a room for a wine refrigerator that was due to be delivered in the next week! Originally Taylor the dispatcher thought Darin would not be available for a few weeks and while I would have liked him earlier than that, I agreed! Taylor let Darin know I wanted the job done ASAP and within two days Darin and Taylor worked it out so that I had my plug completed. Originally I was quoted a price because Taylor thought it would take a number of hours to complete. Darin and his assistant James, finished the job much faster and Linda the office manager worked with Darin to revise the estimate and I ended up paying substantially less than the bid for the work!Darin, Taylor, Linda, James and Jeremy are top notch! I recommend them for any and all of your electric needs. They are fair, professional and amazing to work with! Thank you Young’s for another excellent outcome!!!

    This is the second time I have used Young Electric and been very pleased with the professionalism, knowledge, and quality of the work performed. I called them to have a bathroom vent fan replaced and switches in the bathroom replaced. From start to finish, the experience exceeded my expectations - scheduling was easy, I received a confirmation email and text right away, a reminder text and call; the electrician arrived on-time, reviewed the work I wanted done, gave me some useful information, and got right to work. They finished in less time than I expected, doing professional and thorough work. They cleaned up after themselves, and made sure I understood what was done and where the permit sticker was. I will definitely use Young Electric again, and highly recommend them!

    I would like to give this 4.5 stars, but its not an option. In general Young Electric was easy to work with. The electricians were responsive and easy to work with. The half star deduction is due to communication that I felt could be better. Our project overall took >7 months to complete from time of first contact due to the company being booked out, which I understand, but it was delayed further because of tree trimming required by PGE that Young Electric was made aware of but not communicated to me.

    Young Electric was fantastic to install a Tesla wall connector inside our garage. Lalo was the electrician and was very professional and did a fantastic job! Their pricing was very reasonable, and cheaper than other quotes. From a timing standpoint, I couldnt have asked for better - they were SUPER quick to schedule the installation. What was supposed to be a week+ out (which is quick enough), turned out to be 1 day due to a last minute cancellation!! Great quality, and Im super happy with them. Will definitely look for Young Elec for future electrician needs.

    After having another Tesla certified electrician quote over $4200 to install a wall charger I called Young Electric. They quoted $1525 to do exactly the same work. When Jeremy came out to do the work he discovered that there was an easier/shorter way to run the line. End result we spent $1025. So refreshing to have capable, polite people charge fair price for their work. I recommend them highly.

    Prior to working with Young I had another company give me a quote for a panel replacement, and Youngs quote was about 1/2 of what the other company was. I looked around at a number of electrician companies in the area before settling on Young and I was very pleased with the experience and the workmanship (Note: we just had the work done so I cannot yet speak to longevity, but upon inspection of their work I was pleased with the quality). Both Arthur and Olie were professional and efficient in their work and respectively of my home. I would certainly work with this company again for my future needs and recommend them for others.

I was very impressed with their professionalism and can-do attitude. Darin has been very responsive and it is clear that he is intent on completing the project to my utmost satisfaction. Id also like to add that over the course of three separate projects in the past 3 and 1/2 years, I have always received friendly and effective service from the Young Electric office staff and dispatch personnel. For the current project, Yuliya and Linda have been quite pleasant to deal with on the phone and the technical questions that I had were referred to a knowledgeable technician in a timely manner. These professionals consistently deliver top class work and service.UPDATE: After a few months, I had an electronic component fail, at no fault of the electricians, and received a replacement part from the manufacturer. Darin and Riley made the extra effort to expedite and squeeze time into their schedule to install the replacement part as part of the original project cost. The heating system control is now working as it should. These guys do great work!

    The experience of walking through estimation virtually with Tyler, scheduling, and working with front office people was excellent. The hot tub installation went fairly smoothly and works well and we are happy with the work.Communication could have been better with the estimation and how the scope of work was written and the installer could have communicated better about when parts were swapped out and arrival time on a warranty repair.The specific issue with the estimate was related to the capping and potential moving an outdoor light that was too close to the hot tub. I even tried clarifying it in email and the estimator replied that it was included (or his email could be interpreted this way). When the installer came, he said it was not included and called the estimator to clarify, which he confirmed it was not. So, we held off on having an new light installed given it was not in our budget.

    This is the second time weve used young electric. This time was to install some ceiling fans in our bedrooms and at our last house they fixed some lighting issues we were having. Their technicians are always extremely friendly and helpful. They explain things in a way that makes sense. Electrical fees are pretty steep--today was $540 for an hour of work. I am hopeful that means they pay their employees well! Their service comes with a 5-year warranty too, so it was well worth the cost. We had a few other bids on the work, but the other businesses we considered were not as kind, respectful of our time, or transparent in their pricing, so it was an easy choice to go with Young Electric again. We will definitely use them again in the future--no more going elsewhere for bids! lol--and recommend them to others!

    Adding onto this review below. After our first visit with Young Electric we were pleased and had to have additional time scheduled to finish our job, about a month out. By chance, they had a cancellation two days after our original appointment and were prompt to come and finish the job quickly and efficiently. Mark was courteous and helped us figure out how we wanted to handle a few aspects of our job and we appreciated his knowledge.Young Electric was prompt to get us on the schedule and super communicative. Our technician was able to come early which was great and take care of a few things that we didn’t initially request. The main things that we needed to have done will be addressed at a later point thanks to our technician calling out that it makes the most sense to tackle those repairs in a big group vs. a one-off.     We called two companies for help with a problem. One company required that we leave a message and didnt call back until a day later. On the other hand, Young Electric answered their phone and scheduled a service call. Later, they called back and said they could come even earlier.The problem was a branch circuit that was dead even though there was voltage at the output of the circuit breaker. The electrician immediately guessed what the likely problem was (his guess was correct!) and then it was just a question of locating the fault. The search was efficiently conducted, the fault located, and then repaired.A side effect of the search were several box, switch, & outlet covers removed. The electrician gave me the option of reinstalling those covers myself which I very much appreciated since it saved me money.As a result of his trouble shooting, he suggested a couple of additional upgrades to our electric service. I totally agreed with those suggestions so will be contacting Young Electric to schedule those upgrades.UPDATE:Went ahead and arranged for the updates and the whole process, again, confirmed my decision to call Young Electric.It turned out that the day that installation was scheduled was right after we were supposed to return from a trip to Florida however due to the recent hurricane, our flights got cancelled and I had to contact Young Electric to request a re-schedule which was handled without any issue at all.On the day of the installation, Jon & Ryan showed up right on time and then got right to work. The whole process went smoothly and very professionally. Plus I happened to notice while the crew were working that a very useful outdoor GFI installation could be done with just a bit of extra work. I asked and the guys easily agreed so Im even more than satisfied with the whole experience!

    James is a fantastic electrician- prompt- courteous, personable, and communicative- will educate you on whats going on and talk with you about best options whenever running into something that needs thinking through- clean workmanship and cleans after self, respects requests for booties or masks without a problemYou do have to be active with the company about scheduling any work that takes multiple days else it can be split out by days/weeks/months, which could be a terrible experience, but the dispatch staff are understanding and accommodative when you mention what the situation is and what needs to be done.Prices are pretty decent for a lot of things. If youre line iteming things that dont take much work to do, its extremely expensive, though, so its all about how you plan out what needs to be done and request it of scheduling. Since thats not the most intuitive and they dont naturally schedule the electricians work very efficiently, I took off a star, but in all seriousness Im happy to keep using YE for as long as theyre around. Good business and happy to support it.

    Electricians are in high demand! I was a bit disappointed that we had to schedule out a month as our front door entrance lights were out. Nonetheless we waited and Oleg showed up on time and was extremely professional. He was honest and walked through our issues. It turns out some wiring was touching each other in a different section of the entrance area. He solved the issue and did not charge us as we were under warranty for previous work they did on looking into original wiring in the same section of the house. We are pleased with their service. We would recommend to all!

    Darin arrived on time (early) and was prepared for the install of a new outdoor pond switch and outdoor landscape lighting transformer. All of the previous electrical was located beneath our deck and very difficult to access and outdated, so this wasnt an easy installation. He brought all of the electrical above deck and positioned easily to access. In less than 2 hours everything was up and running smoothly. Excellent work and easy to work with. This was the second time using Young Electric and once again they proved worthy of a five star review.

    I was able to send pictures of the fixtures I was replacing and model numbers for fixtures I purchased to get an estimate remotely. We scheduled a day a couple weeks out, but Young Electric was able to squeeze me in sooner because they finished another job early. Darin and his partner arrived on time, introduced themselves and we walked through the house to see the three fixtures that needed to be replaced. They set to work quickly and efficiently. They each installed a fixture concurrently in the rooms where the ceilings are lower, then worked together to install the third fixture on the high foyer ceiling. They finished the job for significantly less than they originally estimated, which was a welcome surprise. I will contact them for future electrical work.

I had Mark come over to add a new cricut (a completely new installation) and he was very professional, focused, and detailed...he even vacuumed at the end to leave the area as clean as it was previously. Price was fair and they provide a 5 year warranty! Prior to Young I received 3 other quotes, one being from Roth Electrical which their price was excessively high and didnt even provide a warranty as Young Electric does. Only down side was that the actual work didnt start until at least 2 hours after the time I had scheduled, but Mark made up for that time and completed the work fast and professionally.     My husband called Young Electric on Thursday morning because we were having a problem with our Tesla charger repeatedly tripping the breaker. Taylor was very helpful. Even though regular appointments were booking in to April, she said she would get someone to come out that afternoon. Mark and Riley were great!     My tenant is the one who dealt with him; she said he was nice and friendly. It was rather expensive but they quoted me correctly although we thought it should not take more than an hour. He needed to get a part to properly fixed one of the outlets and it turned out to be 2 hours. They were professional and were able to help us quickly and we appreciate their business.I had to call them back in a week because of crackling noise coming from the covered outlet as well as the plate feeling warm. They were so busy they had to put us on a waiting list. The first person I spoke with at the office said not to worry about the crackling noise and to turn off the breaker if we were concerned which is not very good advise. Nevertheless, my tenant was able to open up the cover and found two copper wires which were black which he cleaned and that seemed to solve the crackling and warm plate problem.The technician was available today and came on time, checked the condition of the wires and outlet area and deemed it safe. I appreciate the no charge visit the second time.

Both they and I had doubts about whether it would fit. I said install it anyway. At least I can use the light. It fit perfectly albeit with one inch to spare. I like it that the electricians are friendly and cheerful, but then go on about their business. Ive used several electricians in the forty-four years Ive lived in this house. They were able to schedule James to come to my house to check out the problem.     I would highly recommend YOUNGS Electric! Had an electrical emergency that closed down our business. They sent out a skilled electrician within an hour, diagnosed the problem, and had us back up and running within an hour at a fraction of the cost quoted by their competitor.
