    Sergey came out to fix an outage on the house. He was a pleasure to work with he explained everything in detail and didnt make me feel pressured to fix anything more than needed to be. I will definitely be staying with Mr.Electric and Sergey for any other electrical needs I have in the future. Also there pricing was standard to any other company out there.

    I have worked with Mr. Electric a few times recently and have had great experiences. Scheduling and communicating with Josie in the office has been so easy.Sergey came to perform a diagnostic on a newly installed generator and did a great job explaining the need for smart load distribution and surge protection and their diagnostic picked up some previously damaged breakers in the panel.On another occasion Raul came to figure out how to install 4 new outlets in the easiest possible manner and it went incredibly smoothly. Both jobs were able to be completed the same day, and everyone was tidy, polite, friendly and great to work with.

    Sergey responded quickly after-hours with a problem where an outside power voltage surge had overtaxed and burned out many parts of my homes circuit board. He did an excellent job giving explanations and options at each stage. His work was efficient and much appreciated by my family.

    I highly recommend electrician Sergey Lange at Mr. Electric. He was thorough in his explanations of what needed to be replaced after a power surge during the heat wave destroyed some light switches and a GFI outlet in my garage. He also installed surge protectors on both of the electrical panels (outdoors for the heat pump, and one indoors for the rest of house).Sergei worked quickly and his communication was excellent!

    Sergey came out to diagnose an electrical issue we were having at our house. He spentabout 2.5 hours the first visit diagnosing the problem and provided a clean & concise estimate for repair. It was quite expensive so we needed to think about it. I called a day later to ask about something in the estimate and Sergey called me back personally to explain it. Finally when we had the service performed he was very flexible with his schedule & arrived very early to tackle the job. Thank you!

    We have used Mr. Electric for many years and have always appreciated their reliable and friendly service. They charge a dispatch fee which is applied to the installation cost if you move forward with any project on the same day. This time I worked with Raul Lopez who was very knowledgeable and took the time to understand which projects were most important to me and provide some helpful suggestions including saving me money on an existing external outlet that did not need replacing but could do what I wanted with a minor adjustment. I will continue to use Mr. Electric and would highly recommend them for your electrical needs.

He was very thorough and explained carefully what options we had to fix our kitchen lighting needs.     Sergey quickly diagnosed my electrical problems and gave me solutions. A GFCI switch was melted and a circuit breaker was also ruined by either a voltage spike or too much amperage being drawn by a piece of equipment used by a handyman. I had both the damaged switch and breaker replaced and opted to have Sergey install a whole house surge protector to help prevent a recurrence of the problems. Sergey was very knowledgeable and personable, and worked quickly and efficiently. I will use him for all my electrical needs.

    Five stars. The dispatcher was able to send an electrician to my home much sooner than the other companies I contacted. The electrician, Zachary, conducted a safety check and then went ahead to complete the job after providing a prompt estimate. I was really glad that I did not have to wait days or even a couple weeks to get the job completed after receiving the estimate. Overall, I was very pleased and will contact this company again in the event that I need electrical work done for the house.

    On Saturday, March 23rd I had a major power failure at my home. After Pacific Power repaired my outside connections, I still had problems with some outlets inside my home. Dustin Yamamoto responded quickly. He was very professional but also understanding and able to calm my nerves while assessing the situation. He was able to identify problems and get most everything back online. Some appliances were damaged and the furnace didnt work. I had to have him return to recheck the power to my furnace. However, it turned out the Furnace company had errored in their diagnosis. He was just as gracious and efficient during the second visit. Dustin also provided me with helpful estimates and advice for future work. Thank you Dustin for making a disaster easier on me!

    Their electrician came when we were still in the middle of an ice storm, on a Sunday, with thousands of other Portland people without power. He got the power back on, but the job looked sloppy, like a good wind, or certainly a tree, could pull the wires down again. Today a different electrician, Sergei, met the power company rep to remedy the job. Electricians have different standards than the power company as it turns out. Sergei explained everything to me, in plain English, then had to do it all again for my husband. I overheard him negotiating with the power company guy to find a solution to our need. He is also showing photos of the job to the city to get the permit approved. Now the work looks completely professional and Sergei did such a great job. Hes friendly, professional, on time, and a great communicator both with customers and the power company. We are adding this company to our contacts as our go-to electricians.

    Called last week to have a thermostat repaired so we wouldnt be stuck with 90+ degree temperatures in our house. They had a team out today, and they had it fixed in a flash. Safety concerns were immediately brought up to me, and they corrected every one they found. Any area that they were able to work with me on the price, they did. They made some recommendations for future work I can have done to further increase the comfort in the house, and gave a lot of info about how I can do some things ahead of time to help keep the cost down. They were also very patient with our rescue dog who is wary of men. Having work like this done can so often feel stressful and confusing, and they did everything they could to keep it understandable and affordable for us.

    We have had work done at 3 properties, including replacing a panel, adding wiring for an AC unit, wiring a new bath (2 dedicated circuits), rewiring an old bath (2 new dedicated circuits). For this project we had to move two switches, both were 3-way, but one had been wired as single-pole, and there was an additional feed-through in the box. Sorting out the functions of three sets of wires was difficult, but the crew diagnosed the wiring and made the needed adjustments very quickly. We were very pleased with their promptness, efficiency and the quality of the work, for this job and for the previous ones.

    The company claims transparent pricing, which is bold because you have to pay the $89 dispatch fee before they even arrive to tell you how much it costs to EXAMINE the problem you call them about (its $447 btw, and that again is the diagnostic fee, not the cost to address the problems). My understanding of transparent information is you dont have to pay a fee to see it.The electricians themselves are professional and took great care of me. Id be happy to give Sergey and Jerome the 5 star review they deserve for their service and thorough explanations, especially since their bonuses are contingent on receiving a 5 star google review.I dont want to claim their fees are different or higher than others, I dont know, I only want to advise caution for those who may be unprepared for the fees so they dont lose $89 for no reason and hope Mr. Electric decides to live up to its claims of transparency in the future.
