Highly recommend. We used Lonsdale Electric to remove a ceiling fan from a 21-22 ft ceiling and install a chandelier. Mike was responsive from the start, came by to evaluate ceiling height and plan, provided a competitive quote in a timely fashion and we were able to schedule quickly. He arrived on time with helper in hand and quickly and safely removed the ceiling fan and installed a new fixture. A daunting task indeed -- but he did it well. Friendly, professional, and skilled. Would hire again in an instant.

Excellent experience. We hired Lonsdale to come out and replace the meter box on the side of the house and also the fan inside on our high vaulted ceiling. He came out the same day with a quote that was very fair and was able to schedule us quickly. Mike was responsive, friendly, flexible and easy to work with. He communicated clearly through the whole process and it was obvious he has incredible knowledge about what we needed and how to work with Eversource to get it done safely. They were very thorough, worked all day and took their time to make sure the work was done right. I highly recommend Lonsdale Electric!!

Mike Lonsdale is a nice guy, who really cares, and does a great job. I have called him a couple of times to help me (once with the install of a ceiling fan, and a second time to replace an outside plug). I dont feel like another job, I feel like he tries to help and offers alternatives and suggestions. I was referred to him from our local town news page, and he received the most referrals by far.

Mike and his team did an excellent job updating my old panel and adding a generator interlock kit and outlet port outside. They showed up when they were supposed to and left things clean. Mike went the extra mile to actually walk me through the entire process of starting up the generator and switching the house over to generator power safely as well as what to do when the power comes back on, which easily took another 45 minutes of his time. I felt like he was priced very fairly too. Would not hesitate to use again and recommend to others.

Mike did a great job. He gave me the best price out of all the companies I quoted and had no issue upgrading my panel to 200-amp. I also had him install recessed lighting throughout the house and wire new outlets. Quality work and very professional. Will be calling Lonsdale Electric again for all future work!

Mike and his crew did a great job at a very reasonable price. They were punctual and efficient. They removed old light fixture and ceiling fan. Then installed recessed lights in kitchen and dining room. Finally installed pennant lights above an island. Not easy work due to plaster ceiling with radiant heating. He was honest and not looking to up sell on adding additional lightning where not needed. I would highly recommend him and look forward to getting other work done at my home.

Had contacted Mike at Lonsdale electric in regards to installing 2 light fixtures in the master bath and installing 2 new pendant lights in the kitchen area in which one had to be moved due to it originally not being centered. Mike did some real quality “dirty” work for me. He had to crawl under my deck where at its lowest point was only 6inches and at its tallest was about 3 feet. He installed 18 landscape lights hardwired through a brick garage. After about 4 hours mike was full of dirt, sweat and spiders. His quality work and excellent communication earn my recommendation for anyone looking for any electrical work done. Awesome job!

I had lights flickering in my house. Noticed my meter box was making a sizzling noise. I called eversource and they came out and confirmed my meter box was bad and also not their responsibility. I called Lonsdale the next morning and Mike came out. It was a huge hazard. Mike got right to work and replaced my meter box and main feed that day. He did great work and was very friendly. I highly recommend!

Mike was amazing. Our main power switch died on a Saturday during the Covid. We tried multiple companies who could not come out without first charging us an exorbitant fee to just assess the situation. I could tell he was busy but he still decided to come and replace our WHOLE power panel and switches—instead of enjoying the rest of his weekend. Had you not done that Mike, we would have lost all of our food and stock pile during a pandemic. You are truly a walking reward and you are now our go to guy from now on. Mike Lonsdale of Lonsdale Electric LLC, Rocky Hill, CT responded to my phone call for assistance within hours of my call even though I had not been a customer. Came out the next day to assist with an issue with the breaker to my clothes dryer (kept tripping). He trouble shot the problem quickly and expertly, and checked all other breakers for issues while he was there. I cannot say enough how pleased I am with his expertise, willingness to help and professionalism. He is a nice person as well. Recommend as highly as possible.

I messaged him at 7:30 in the morning and despite having several jobs scheduled he still came later that day. Lonsdale Electric was excellent! Highly recommend. Our microwave broke right before guests were visiting, and despite being full with work for the week he came out very quickly when we needed in the evening after his previously scheduled jobs. I bought the wrong size over the hood microwave and when he discovered this he still made time for us the next evening to return after his booked job to make sure we had a microwave installed for our guests. Our cabinets were also crooked and he worked on re-installing our microwave a couple of times to do the best work with difficult cabinets. Super responsive, timely, showed up when he said he would, excellent work.

I recently had him complete a bunch of small projects at my home in EH.
