    We were very pleased with the service we received. We had six lights installed, a couple of outlets replaced and new thermostats installed. They were super efficient but also took the time to answer all of our questions and provide recommendations on future projects and fixes. Super professional, patient and knowledgeable (sweet with our dog, a very nice touch!). We found the price very fair, as well. We will definitely call them again!

    We used CBE for a new house build in Falmouth. They were outstanding to work with and we would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others. They were timely, professional, and positive. Tyler was our lead guy, but several of them worked on the job and all were excellent to work with.     I had a complicated installation of a hand blown Murano glass chandelier. It needed to be assembled (it had MANY fragile parts!) and installed. Aiden and Lars were incredible. We ran into several hiccups (an important missing part, different Italian measurements) and with their technical skill and creativity, they solved everything efficiently, with ingenuity and good humor. Bravo!

    We were just blessed with Brady (electrician) and Avery (helper) on 4/26/24 who installed a connection to an outlet for the new radon fan in the attic. It was beautifully done such that the conduit out of the ceiling looked like it had been built with the house originally! They also upgraded our kitchen mood lighting above & below the cabinets, replacing the 16 yr old lighting which by now was mostly not lighting. Our kitchen looks so warm and beautiful and the job was perfection! Both of these men were so very kind and polite, we have just found ourselves a new permanent electrician company. Thank you CBE!!

    We bought a house in Falmouth that was built in 1965. It had a 100amp fuse panel and we needed to upgrade our service, get a new meter box with outside shut off and new circuit breaker panel.I contacted several electricians in the area and most were not interested in a big job like this.I stopped by CBEs office and Mike helped me connect with Alex.Alex came to our house and talked to us about things like an underground service and upgrade to 200 amps. That seemed like a good idea as the trees were towering over and under the electric lines.So, their team came and did the trenching (Jake) and conduit. Mike, Victor and Judah pulled the cable and CMP made it live. Then Judah and Victor worked to do a perfect install of the meter box and 200amp panel. Excellent workmanship! I am really a perfectionist and I appreciate their skill and work ethic. The food in the fridge stayed cold and everything turned out perfect.I will definitely use them for future work.Friendly, super competent and quick. Well coordinated service.Thanks guys!

    Will only use CBE as my electrician. Have worked with them multiple times from installing generator switch, new sub panel, heating, lighting, etc...Notably excellent experience (bar is already pretty high) recently with John and Lars. After two days of extremely hard work completely transformed our den, kitchen, upstairs and master bedroom.They did the work of lighting designer (my wife loved their layout), electricians, and gave us food for thought for future improvements.     What a great pair of guys two men came by and knew what they were doing worked very efficiently, and we actually all had a good time together. The response time was especially terrific as a crew opened up with respect to their availability and were able to come to our home quickly after I had called in Did not expect to get that quick response but we did and we’re very grateful.     Got up one morning to the electric panel half energized. CMP said the problem was the underground service line to the house. Luckily I was able to locate the damaged cables about a foot below grade near the meter. Casco Bay was able to get someone out the next day and splice the damaged cables. The electrician was professional and competent, and so were the staff I dealt with on the phone. Fair price, I would use them again.

    We had an issue with our electric late at night which left our furnace not running on a very cold night. I called Casco Bays emergency line and was out through to their on call, he was an amazing guy who patiently listened to my ranting about my problem. He helped me find a workaround to get my furnace running for the night and they came out the next day and fixed our issue.Can’t say enough good about these folks. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.Thank you!

    Where do I begin? We have been searching for a master electrician for 3 solid years. We have contracts signed, made deposits, had them refunded when contracts were cancelled or just didnt show up. So frustrating to say the least. FINALLY found Casco Bay Electric and we could not be more thrilled! They were responsive, detailed, and professional from our first call. Our house had several projects that had accumulated over the years for both the residential portion of our property and our home based business on the property including: 2 baseboard heaters that needed installing, 49 florescent lights that needed replacing and converting to 13 LED lights, a broken 6ft span ceiling fan with light and wireless remote in a 2 story front hall with a twisted staircase underneath it, multiple outlets with arcing and reversed polarity, 35 year old breakers that kept tripping, 4 exterior lights that needed replacing, a new art studio that needed brand new surface mount wiring created and installed with outlets, led lights, and a ceiling fan, tracking and safely capping exterior exposed wire that previous owners left in the yard, correcting improper wiring for 3 useless light switches that now work perfectly. ALL of this work was completed in just 4 days efficiently professionally and the worksite was left spotless each day. Sean, the master electrician for the scope of all this work, was incredibly skilled and patient with multiple questions and incredibly easy to work with and offered suggestions about the best way to achieve what we were looking for. Alex in the front office was also professional, knowledgeable, and patient helping us separate the business work from the personal residential work for our tax needs. Overall We HIGHLY recommend Casco Bay Electric for any and all of your residential and commercial needs. We are now compiling a list of additional electrical work in the house to upgrade all remaining lighting to energy efficient LED and upgrading electrical fixtures and fans in 3 bathrooms. Casco Bay Electric is across the board 5 stars and how a business should conduct itself--skilled, professional, prompt, with superior customer service. Thank you!

    This is my third time using Casco Bay Electric for home projects. All three times, the crews were exceptional and far exceeded my expectations! While at my home, they were polite, professional, friendly, and completed my projects exactly as I had asked. For this project (last week), Ben and Jacob were wonderful! They arrived on time, involved me in the project by asking me relevant questions (and gave me advice) about where I wanted electrical outlets and wiring placed inside my garage/outside outlet. They even quickly troubleshooted and solved a problematic lamppost issue that hadnt worked for a few years. As a bonus, they played great music while they worked. A+ accross the board. Hire them!     We had two very polite and professional electricians install a large ceiling fan on a 20 ft ceiling. They arrived on time and well equipped to tackle the high ceiling.     Fantastic company. First, they arrived exactly on time. Second, the electrician listened to all of my concerns and how I wanted the light fixtures to look/work.     We had an electrician from Casco Bay come out to install a switch that connected our new generator to our breaker panel. Adam was great! On time, very courteous, and diligent about doing it right. He explained what he was going to do and explained how it all worked when he was done.     Casco Bay Electric is an awesome company that did an amazing job wiring and setting up my cabin for electricity. They always arrived to the minute if not before they said they would to perform their services, and the scheduler worked hard to fit me in. I got majorly scammed by a general contractor who was recommended to me by a salesman from the company that I bought my log cabin from who took a lot of my money without doing any work . So I found Casco Bay Electric on my own and luckily they accept credit cards and employ a lot of electricians, so I was able to get my cabin built completely in a timely manner and work out a credit card repayment plan . Furthermore their electricians were all nice and helpful and seemed to genuinely feel sorry that I got scammed and did not give me a negative or judgmental attitude. I look forward to using this company in the future should needs for an electrician arise.

    My Mother had a tree fall on power lines a couple weeks ago due to a storm. It was a mess! I needed an electrician asap so she wouldnt be without power for extended period.     Finding and getting good tradesmen to come out to your place is difficult. Most are simply to busy.Luckily, a cancellation got me an electrician from Casco Bay.Tim came out with his young assistant, quickly assessed the situation and installed an electronic thermostat for my new floor heating mat.They did a fantastic job with the install and it was done at very fair price.     We worked with CBE to do several projects at our newly purchased home in Scarborough. They installed a higher voltage outlet for us in our laundry room and then added recessed lighting to two rooms in our home. They were quick to get back to us to schedule a quote and the guy who came out to do it was nice, professional, and quick to assess our needs. Getting a quote and scheduling was easy (though we had to wait a little while for availability, but all business are currently experiencing that strain). The electricians that came to perform the work were amazing! We were given a heads up that due to a delay in the project before ours, they would be getting started a few hours late. But otherwise they were quick and on time! They got the outlet and one rooms lighting done on day one and the second room on day two. They thought a lot about the aesthetics and placement of the lights and consulted us on this as well. The cherry on top was that they vacuumed and left their workspaces cleaner when they left then they were when they arrived. We could not recommend them more and look forward to working with them in the future.

    Very pleased with all aspects of their work from working with the office on setting up the appointment to the wiring done on the building.     John and Tim came over to assist with some electrical work, entailing installment of two ceiling fans, a dining area overhead light and rewiring electricity behind two TVs. They were prompt, clean, tidy and asked lots of questions before executing the tasks to make sure expectations were clear. They were both very professional and finished the projects in a few short hours. I had full confidence in their work as soon as I started speaking with them. They also wore face masks the entire time (as did I when interacting with them), which isn’t easy while doing this physical work, but it spoke to their professionalism and keeping both themselves and me safe during the pandemic.     We engaged Casco Bay Electric to remove a lot of old knob and tube wiring from our home, install a new panel, redo our basement and garage lighting, and address a miscellany of minor problems that had accumulated over the years. Big job & not inexpensive, and a few minor items still need to be addressed once we have some other contractors in to install insulation and drywall, but the bulk of it is done and so far we have been extremely pleased with their work and in our dealings with CBE. The team who did the work here was conscientious, professional and courteous.

    Weve used CBE twice now, once for some major work (installing recessed lighting, running new circuits, fixing problems we inherited from the last owner) and most recently to fix a breaker that was malfunctioning due to water ingress in our panel. The work has been great, the staff friendly, and the turnaround quick. For the breaker issue, they had someone at my house in a matter of hours!

    Ive hired them twice now and had the same electrician both times. He was very nice and knowledgeable. The first job was to fix a light which was not working in our home; he explained what he was doing which was nice to know so I could possibly diagnose similar problems in the future.     My 1850 era home cant be an easy one to work on. So I appreciate contractors who treat my home the same way I do. Recently I contracted with CBE for some fairly extensive electrical upgrades, including installing a new 30-breaker main panel for the home. My first contact was with one of CBEs estimators, Jacob Gardner, with whom I did a thorough walk-through of what I wanted done. Jacob answered my many questions and came up with a detailed quote & plan of work for the whole project. On the day of the work, CBE sent a two man crew (Dave & Eric) who proved to be excellent. I would describe them as professional, courteous and very efficient. I was impressed with their workmanship (the new main panel is now a showcase feature of my basement) and their efficiency....no wasted movement. They were undaunted by the inevitable quirks of an old structure and were both a pleasure to have in my home. I would hire them again without hesitation. Thank you to the whole CBE crew.
