James and his team have been my electricians for many years. I had several issues when I moved into my new home. I needed new outlets installed, lights added and fixtures replaced. The light pole at the end of my driveway was also having issues. I have had these gentlemen install LED lights in my closet. They have installed a new electrical outlet for my pool. They put in a new electrical outfit for our RV. You name it they can do it. James always answers his phone when I call and I refuse to call anyone else. He will be my electrician as long as we live here in Tennessee. The gentleman that work for him are extremely nice polite and good men. My dogs get excited every time they come over. I would highly recommend this business and this owner.Amanda Terry

A++++ I cannot recommend Barnes Electric enough. We had an emergency situation with offices out of power and a tripped fuse. Was able to help restore our power over the phone through some diagnostic tests and proper breaker handling. Thank you, Barnes Electric!!

He was the only one who would come out for an emergency call for an overheated electrical panel. Though his team was unavailable, he was willing to come out himself to examine and temporarily fix the breaker box until it could be repaired. Within 2 days, he had the panel replaced, up and running so we could have AC during the 100 degree days. Hes awesome! Efficient, personable and would hire again in a heartbeat.

My main electric panel caught fire while I was away at work, and my wife and small child were home trying to get ready for work and school. I received the call from my wife stating thats what the light company told her why they came out and removed the meter in the early morning hours. After calling the big name companies at around 9 or 9:45am they all stated it would be later possibly the next day Seeing as how the power company had to come back out to give the ok To turn the power back on. after the upgrade was made, and if it werent done by a certain time, we would have to sleep in the cold or get a hotel. I told Mr. Barnes. What my issue was. He got right on it, which had me back up and running with a brand new upgrade in a matter of a few hours. The price was reasonable given the situation. He was also pleasant professional. The light company came out inspected his work and I signed the release we were done. Happy face and all the rest of them have lost my business when it comes to electrical work because I called all of them they had no availability and couldnt give me a rough estimate time on when they will be available. I just happened to run across Mr. James Barnes, because he had such great reviews, highly recommend Mr. James Barnes, for all your electrical work.

James and his crew are great. He installed my panel in 2015 and has done other work since then. Called him on a Friday afternoon recently needing a repair and.he sent two members of his team out quickly, even though he had other commitments in progress. They fixed the problem and explained everything. I have recommended James in the past to my neighbor who was pleased with his work. I highly recommend Barnes Electric. James and his team are first-class.

They installed new recessed lights in my living room, dining room, kitchen, and utility room. They arrived on time, were very friendly and the installation was professionally done and looks great. They also installed ceiling fans and a whole house surge protector. They were reasonably priced and they cleaned up after themselves. I would hire them again in the future and would highly recommend them.

We Shouldve called Barnes First! We had a few light switches that were not working as a result of a bathroom remodel wed done ourselves. We called one company who trouble shot for an hour and couldnt fix it, then gave us the run around about coming back. On the second day we called Barnes. They called before they came, they showed up earlier than they promised on a Saturday, wore booties inside our home and found the problem in less than 5 minutes! They also checked for problems we werent even aware we might have, and changed outside floodlights for us. They already had the bulbs we needed in their van. Very Friendly, Very Prompt, Very knowledgeable. I would recommend them for any electrical repairs!
