We had Jacob and his team remodel our mostly unfinished basement. They had a great vision for the space, were easy to work with on changes/alternate design ideas during the construction process, and really wanted to make us happy with the results. Theyre highly client-focused, professional, and attentive to detail, both in their design and throughout the construction process. Our basement ended up being even better than we imagined, and the price was very reasonable. We hope to work with them again on other home projects in the future.

I met Jacob Chavez back in 2017 when I got my CCB license. I wrote an email to him offering my services. He did not reply to my email, He called me directly instead, we had a nice talk. Then, He gave me the opportunity to work with Him. Ive been working with Jacob for the last Six years and Ill continue doing business with him. Hes an honest, trustworthy, helpful person who is always willing to help out his customers and workers. He supports small businesses like mine.Jacob is a person who likes to do things always right, the first time with quality and on time and that is something we have in common.He is very knowledgeable and passionate about building science. He is not the type of Contractor who does work without not knowing construction codes, type of materials and applications.I really appreciate the opportunity he gave me and Im happy to be working with Jacob Chavez on his projects.

We hired Jacob and his team to do a garage to ADU conversion. I highly recommend Jacob. The ADU is now finished, I’m sitting in it now, and it is amazing. Far beyond what we had hoped when we first decided to start this project.I’ll mention the two really stand out qualities I saw in Jacob’s work. The first is that he was easily able to take the vague ideas my wife and I had and turn them into reality. We wanted a railing with storage, and an office nook by the stairs with extra storage, and some means to create a bit of privacy. Maybe you can visualize something from that description but I couldn’t. Jacob however turned those ideas in to two beautiful built-in designs that now really take this place above anything we had imagined.The second quality is that Jacob hires really good people. Every single person who worked on this project, and I really do mean every single person, was not only extremely kind and friendly but very good at what they do. Every question we had was answered clearly by anyone we asked. Every concern was addressed. We were kept in the loop on all the important information. The work itself is impressive. When we first met with Jacob we of course asked how much he though the project would cost. Before he considered a number he said right away, “I take care of my people.” The care he takes really shows. Jacob knows how to hire the right people.

The designs were thoughtful and Jacob always provided different options and thought through the pros and cons of each. Flexible with changes during the course of the project. Jacob and his team, including Mack, did a great job on my project. Black mold had crept into an area of my house. Jacob carefully identified the cause of the water entrance, and they did a great job of repairing the affected area, including a super clean-up. I will definitely hire again.

I cannot commend Jacob and his team highly enough. I have remodeled most of my house room by room over the past 8 years, including 3 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, and a complete kitchen remodel, including removal of an interior load bearing wall opening up the kitchen to the dining room, custom cabinetry, a large island, new walk-in pantry, hardwood flooring repair (from the old wall), natural stone slab surfaces, custom tile work, and a large marble island with an ingenious metal lattice supporting the slab which allowed wrap around seating for four, with no supporting posts needed at the corners(!).These projects reflect the best qualities of this small company. Jacob has a unique background as an architect prior to starting his design-build firm, which allows him to custom design solutions required with difficult remodels. His problem solving skills are impeccable. He wont cut corners just to finish a job quickly. He wont quit until the customer is completely happy with the finished result. He expects the best from his employees, and it shows in the quality of the execution.Ive used three other firms before his, and I would only use his company again for future projects. I think that speaks volumes of my trust in his work. If you want a job done quickly, with mid-level quality, this is not the firm for you. If you want top level execution and design, I encourage you to work with his business. You will appreciate the attention to detail.

Ive been working with Jacob Chavez going on three years.I can say he is one of the good ones.Every time we’ve worked together Ive been happy with the communication from start to finish.And I can see the effort he puts in to uphold his end with integrity.Hes been fair and transparent with me when it comes to pricing. And when problems arise as they always do in life in any arena I know him to be creative and willing when it comes to finding a solution. When it comes to the quality of his work, it is top notch and I know he doesnt nickle and dime his subcontractors but will go the extra mile even taking a loss on occasion to give his clients something special. I enjoy his attitude and dealing with him on a personal level,he is down to earth honest and aims to learn ,grow and always do better. He is a good contractor, I trust him.

Jacob is a very personable general contractor. The tile and woodworking we had done is enviable. Great finish product.The list is long of what they did for us but all of it pulled the details of our home together including removing walls, moving plumbing, adding basement windows and window wells, click together LVP, door frame installation, door installation, hardware installation, hardwood installation plus building up the base, etc.
