We had an incident with a water leak that affected 3 of our apartments. We called JR Johnson. JR Johnson came to the site and their mitigation team removed the wet sheetrock and insulation. The mitigation was seamless and through. Then it was time for JR Johnson rebuild team to come make the repairs. Tom Armour was the project manager assigned to get these 3 apartments back together. Tom was in constant communication with me and sent weekly, sometimes daily, emails with photos on the progress. We were always provided with a schedule of contractors that would be on the site and when they would be here. Tom completed the job on time and on budget with tireless communications. We greatly value our relationship with JR Johnson and yet another project completed by their team with 5 gold stars. Thank you again Tom and the team at JR Johnson.

One of the air conditioners on the roof leaked and caused water damage in the hallway and inside an apartment. Jorge and Armando came out that same day to begin drying everything out. They took care of us quickly and explained their process before beginning so we are all on the same page.They have been great through this whole process! JR Johnson is incredibly communicative and really cares about their customers.Tom who is the manager was great as well, very responsive and explained the entire process before the work was done. He even followed up after the work was completed. I cant recommend JR Johnson enough.

Brian from JR Johnson did an awesome job doing a drywall repair that was caused by a leak. The work was completed quickly and with great attention to detail. They left the space looking better than ever! We will definitely be using them again.

Our HOA retained JR Johnson for 2 major projects this past year and it was a very positive experience. Juan, the project manager on both jobs, was extremely professional, an excellent communicator, conscientious and flexible. 1 of the jobs was logistically complicated, requiring residents to move large items from decks for power washing / sealing. Residents had plenty of notice, and Juan and his crew were there to assist every step of the way. The 2nd job was even larger — we resealed the brick for the entire building. (28 units, 3 stories.) Again, communication and scheduling was key. We always knew where Juan and his crew would be and when. And when issues came up (as they often do on jobs like this) they were responsive and accommodating. I should add that the testing results after the work was completed (by and independent technician) confirmed a job well done. We wont hesitate to work with JR Johnson in the future.

Repainting an entire condo complex can be very, very disruptive to the residents, but this team did excellent work in making sure that disruptions were few and manageable. Stellar communication, planning and professionalism...thats how I would sum up our experience with JR Johnson. We employed JR Johnson for a huge condo painting project. We presented the team with some real challenges, given our location. They nailed it. Tyler Jacobo took the lead and stayed in close communication every step of the way-making my job of coordinating with the community very simple. He is really an extremely attentive manager. A real professional. The lead on-site manager, Ignacio Echevarria was accomodating and addressed everyones wants and wishes. The team worked extremely hard and each night left the campus spotless. We were introduced to JRJ about 2 years ago during a fire insurance claim. The experience with this large construction company was excellent. They are well-organized and manage their trades effectively. While not the cheapest option, their experience, quality, and superior work set them apart from competitors. JRJs comprehensive processes justify their costs, and their dedicated customer service ensures satisfaction.Nathan Sweet and Tom Armour handled our first claim with exceptional communication, providing direct cell numbers and timely responses. Toms engaging personality and Nathans project management skills were impressive. Tyler Carter, their Project Manager, was outstanding on a change order project at the very end. Despite some expected challenges during the construction phase, our overall experience with JRJ has been positive and they always keep their word. We continue to rely on them for both insurance and non-insurance projects, trusting their professionalism for any project.

A flooding event occurred in my condo. The JR Johnson mitigation team was there quickly to dry it out. After the scope of work was determined and insurance hammered out, we started demo and construction. We had to replace subfloors and flooring and ended up completely renovating the kitchen. Once the project was handed over to the project manager, Tom Armour, progress was steady. The schedule was updated and shared with me regularly so I knew what was coming up and could be ready. Tom visited the site regularly to access progress and send me pictures. Any shortcomings were addressed quickly. Communication made all the difference as I live two hours away and couldnt always be there. We are happy with the process and the results.

On April 7th, 2021 we had a major structural fire at my business and was told by other so called restoration companys it would be a minimum of 9 months before I could get back in and open back up for business. Well I refused to take that as a option and called JR Johnson LLC. and met with Tim Miller and David Fettig and there awesome team of subcontractors and 59 days later my doors were back open and we were open for business!! I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone nor would I think of using anyone else, Thank you David for your outstanding wiliness to make things right and working with me.

I’m a Property Manager of a community that has recently concluded various community improvement projects over the past 18 months, all of which had been completed by various divisions of JR Johnson. Communication with our on-site team was exceptional during all facets of the projects and special care was made with specific regard to the final project completed at our community (the replacement of our dryer ducts in every home). Blake and his team were very attentive to the fact that nearly all of the homes were occupied by residents that had endured several months of construction projects and were very mindful and accommodating when necessary, often exceeding our team’s expectations on requests. This particular project required extended entry into homes and I can easily say it was the project I received the most positive resident feedback on, something that came as a pleasant surprise. Their crew was consistently polite, engaging with residents when they had questions, and above all else professional. Best of all, that project was completed ON TIME!

JR Johnson’s crew, led by Roofing Division Manager James Roberts, reroofed 9 of the 35 townhome buildings in the Liberty Oaks development. The company did an amazing job in every aspect of the project, doing their best to minimize the impact of this project on our community of 152 townhomes. As HOA Board President, I had regular contact with James Roberts and found him always extremely positive and professional. If a resident did have an issue or concern over the several months project, James was attentive and responded in a timely manner. His attention to detail and follow-up with community members made this project go very smoothly. Outstanding Customer service at JR Johnson is not just a slogan or a lofty goal, it is how they do business every day. That starts at the top and extends to the crew of hard working, professional, honest roofers on-site regularly.

They went out of their way to travel to my area as soon as they heard of my troubles, stayed within the budget, and even negotiated refund on my behalf with prior contractors that failed. The craftsmanship and finishes they added to everything showed how dedicated they were to my job and they didn’t hesitate to make decisions in my absence based on my communicated needs and preferences. This is the second major project that have done with JRJ and once again I am very happy with the results. The Project Manager, Chris Miller & Foreman Chuck Watts did a great job relaying the outline of how the project would go as well as easing our residents fears by making the project as low impact to them as possible. Once the project did get up and running Chuck and his crew did a great job of communicating with me at each step of the project and letting me know if any changes needed to be made and we worked together on solutions. Chuck also communicated very well with our residents and listening to there question and concerns. In the end of the day the project was completed ahead of schedule on under budget. This crew and foreman and project manager are a credit to JRJ with there great work ethic and attention to detail.

Our story began Oct 30, 2015. JR Johnson (JRJ) responded to a 24 he emergency leak. This turned into a construction defect lawsuit against the original builder.Our construction started Dec 5, 2018. Working with JRJ since then has been very easy. Their workers have always been respectful, hard working and willing to go the extra mile on everything Ive asked about. Many times I felt like I was the one in the way (I work from home). They have always done their best to keep the construction site clean and accessible for the occupants of the building. In working through the process, they have been very communicative and willing to answer questions. Ive even seen the boss out on a weekend when we had an issue that needed to be resolved.I cant say enough about working with JRJ on our project and would request a bid on any further projects or needs they could do.Work with them. They are worth it!

Our dishwasher leaked and ruined our floors, we went with another company for the mitigation because they were able to get in faster but we went with JR Johnson for the renovation because they were much more fair in their pricing for the floors and easier to communicate with.No project ever goes quite as planned, coordinating subcontractors is always a challenge, something always gets missed, what I appreciated about JR johnson is their quick communication, responses and even when our project manager was on vacation they had coverage for questions and that person didn’t complain about it not being their project they just jumped right in and helped us all figure it out. Hire Source Staffing had a water loss at our place of business. We initially had a different restoration company onsite. After the first company stated we were all complete and dry, we knew for a fact we were not. I placed the call to JR Johnson. They were onsite within an hour to our place of business. Jason Ramsey, Tiffany Johnson, and Jim Carey were the most professional and personal estimators one could ask for. Our building is in downtown Vancouver, WA and was built in 1910. With an older building comes a lot of concerns. Jason was quick to address these concerns and took the appropriate actions to make sure all of them were addressed, and the appropriate testings were conducted to make sure we were all in safe hands. They truly went the extra mile to make sure our business could reopen to our staff. They had contractors onsite within hours and following into the next day to make sure we would be more than ready for Monday morning. They have one of the best Mitigation Field Supervisors one could ask for. Temoc Peralta. We are truly thankful for Temoc and his crew for their professionalism and rapid response with continuing to dry out our office. They exceeded expectations and truly went the extra mile to make sure our office was safe, clean and ready for staff come Monday morning. Each employee I have spoken to at JR Johnson has followed through with every item they have stated, they are rapid to respond to all questions and concerns and have accommodated all our needs as a business. JR Johnson is hands down amazing at what they do, and we cannot thank them enough for all the support they have given us throughout our loss. I highly recommend Jr Johnson.We had Comcast fall through our ceiling, in the nursery of all places. A friend recommend Jr Johnson and I am so glad I called them. After calling them they were here within 20 minutes, before the supervisor of comcast made it here. He got right to work cleaning up all of the blown-in insulation, he took great care with our items.The next day they came to box up all of the items to clean them at their facility. My sons bedding, stuff animals, everything was covered in that blown-in insulation. They took care of everything. From the drywall, adding more insulation, painting and setting the nursery back up.They even dealt with Comcasts insurer. Their work is fantastic, friendly crews that did an amazing job.It was a stressful situation that was made better by Jr Johnsons professional team. Thank you!!!

Having a building fire is a terrible circumstance. There is no way around it. The fire, and the subsequent smoke and water damage creates almost unimaginable destruction, both physically to the building and psychologically to the owners. In those situations, having someone with a cool head and experienced with an understanding that they are dealing with peoples homes is imperative. The team at JR Johnson worked intimately with owners, management, the HOA insurance adjuster, and the city and Fire Marshal to restore our building, within a reasonable budget and return the owners to their homes. They were responsive to the HOAs requests, attending meetings both with the board and with the entire population, and advocated on several occasions on behalf of the HOA and owners in dealing with insurance issues. This was not a perfect situation: A fire should never qualify as such. However, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that this fire and the aftermath could have been much worse if not for the considerate, patient handling of the JR Johnson team.

Our HOA board selected JR Johnson to perform a remediation project at our condo community of flats and townhomes. I think I can speak not only for the board but also for all who live here that we were pleased with the progress of the project and the professionalism and responsiveness of JRJ. We had formed an ad hoc committee of a few homeowners who would liaise between JRJ and the board. While I wasnt looking forward to that extra duty, I would say that this committee enjoyed our weekly meetings with the JRJ team due, in part, to the good humor of all involved week after rainy week. The excellent communication throughout the project was much appreciated.

J.R. Johnson is one if the best in the business. I work as an attorney that represents people and businesses that have problems with their insurance company. Our firm has handled several cases where J.R. Johnson performed the repairs that were the subject of an insurance claim. They went above and beyond to work on behalf of the property owner to make sure the insurance company paid everything that was owed. In a recent case, they served as expert witnesses on behalf of our client. They did an outstanding job and and were the key to winning the case. J.R. Johnson is an amazing company that is made up of hard working and kind employees. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is in need of their type of services. When our condo building had a fire, they were there for us all on our very worst day and in the not-so-fun days following too. They were kind and empathetic to all 62+ of our displaced units /owners, and started work immediately so we were able to return to our building as soon as possible. As a board member of the building I communicated daily with JRJ, and their professionalism and skill always impressed us. We valued them as leaders on our project and they always went above and beyond for our building owners and for our overall restoration project. Our building was more beautiful after the fire because of JRJs wonderful work and attention to detail - They are very knowledgable and skilled.
